That is exactly how she found herself waking up this morning, disoriented and addled with crumbs all over her chest and her cream colored bed sheets. It took awhile for everything to come flooding back, but when reality finally settled in her mind, the panic slowly crept in when she recalled all about how the supernatural is real and how she spent the majority of the night prior talking to a freakin' vampire.

ย  ย  Exhaustion had taken over her the moment she parked in the dirted driveway of the Chambers/Black household. Jasper had followed her home to make sure she got there safely before returning to his family to inform them of the news, if they weren't already informed courtesy of Alice. Liz knew he had followed her, as he insisted on taking her home himself but she claimed to be perfectly capable of taking her bike and did not want to answer questions from her sister who she knew was still waiting up worrying until the youngling finally returned home despite being told not to wait up.

ย  ย  Ester had hounded her as soon as she walked through the front door about leaving so abruptly like she had and pointed out that she knew something was wrong due to her behavior at dinner, but Liz simply lied and assured her she was stressing over the 'project' she had with Angela and was simply just overtired. She hated lying to her sister, but the truth seemed to be something that might result in her ending up in a mental facility, so she figured that pretending that everything was normal was better than the alternative.

ย  ย  With all the energy she could muster to haul herself out of bed, Liz immediately jumped into the shower, grateful for the weekend and the zero pressure that comes from dealing with high school. The only pressure she has to deal with today is the fact that in a couple hours, she will be in front of a group of people she once thought were just ignorant assholes with staring problems and anti-social skills to now what she knows to be a group of blood drinking vampires, all who claim on to be self-proclaimed vegetarians.

ย  ย  Liz melted into the hot water pouring onto her pale skin, soaking up the warmth and comfort that came from it. The shower was much needed, and if it wasn't for Danny pounding on the door and repeatedly stating that he needed to use the toilet, she might have stayed in there all day and avoided the reality that now seems to be her life. But sadly, given the one bathroom household dilemma, Liz forced herself out after twenty-five minutes of scrubbing herself down and rinsing out the peach shampoo from her hair. Once retreating back to her bedroom, Danny continually thanked his future sister-in-law before barricading himself in the bathroom, locking the door behind him.

ย  ย  Liz let out a shaky breath of laughter before making her way towards the closet of her bedroom, trying to find an appropriate outfit for today. What does one wear when meeting a family of vampires anyway? Liz remembers Alice and Rosalie and how they are always dressed in these glamorous, never before seen designer clothes, something she remembers Jessica always envying seeing is how she couldn't afford half the ludicrous things they do despite her father owning his own car wash. Even the men of the family always wore fashionable clothing. Liz has always taken pride in her own stylish outfits, seeing how in spite of the little money she grew up with, she always manages to find cute garments regardless of what store she purchased them from.

ย  ย  Which is how she decided to go with something simple, since this wasn't supposed to be some special occasion. She was only going there to get the answers she seeks. To learn the truth behind her faded memories. She needs to hear it directly from the source, no matter how difficult it most definitely will be to hear. Jasper was there at the scene, he could have been the one her mother was yelling at. Sometimes she thinks that maybe the police were right and she heard wrong, that her mother wasn't speaking to anyone and it was just her mind playing tricks on her. But that still leaves the mystifying fact that she somehow ended up on the other side of the road away from the vehicles before they exploded. Jasper claims he has the answers she seeks and finally, her mind will be put to rest.

ย  ย  On the other hand, there is a part of her that is utterly terrified of learning the truth. About reliving what happened as it has been something she has tried so hard to bury into the back of her mind since she woke up in the hospital. It's been almost five months since the accident, it was still a fresh wound that will never fully heal right. Liz is just praying that she can handle whatever Jasper throws at her. She is literally depending on it.

ย  ย  Finally settling on a pair of light cotton skinny jeans ripped on the right knee with a dark blue knitted sweater that was always a bit bigger on her though she preferred it that way, she grabbed her dark brown ankle boots that had yet to be worn before going over to her vanity. Deciding she did not want to deal with her hair, she flips it down to grab it all with both hands before lifting her head up, tying her hair tightly in a bun and happy when she managed to do it perfectly in one shot. She only does a touch up with her make up, seeing as how she is never one to wear any, but a little mascara never hurt anyone.

ย  ย  Ester seemed to have perfect timing because just as she was done, she called up for the youngest Chambers child, informing her that breakfast was ready. Liz was starving, giving the fact that she did not eat her dinner last night - just some bag of chips - she strapped on her brace tightly over her jeans before rushing down the stairs and greeted Ester in the kitchen, who placed a bowl of eggs on the table. She was dressed in her waitress uniform, as per usual, smiling at something Danny must have said before she came down. The youngest Chambers sister greeted the couple with a forced smile and muttered a soft 'morning' before making her way towards the coffee pot and pouring herself a much needed cup.

ย  ย  Ester gave her sister a quick once over before raising an amused brow in curiosity. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty. Where are you off too today? Seeing anyone special?"

ย  ย  As Liz made her way over towards the table, slowly taking sips of the black liquid in the blue mug, she gently sat down in the chair with one leg tucked under the other and gave the older female a strange look, squinting her blonde brows together. "What are you talking about?"

ย  ย  "Well, giving the fact that it is Saturday and you are up, showered and dressed before noon can only mean two things. Option one, Angela did some weird scientific brainwashing on you last night to make you somewhat audible in the mornings-" Liz looked over in time to see Danny covering his mouth to try and suppress a chuckle as mornings with the Chambers sisters was always very entertaining for him, before turning back to Ester who took the seat in the middle between her fiance and sister. "Or option two, you got a hot date sometime in the early afternoon."

ย  ย  Though she knows Ester meant no harm and was only joking around, Liz couldn't help but get annoyed at her prying ways. It may be the paranoia talking - hell, it's most definitely the paranoia talking - but she was a bit worried that she might slip up and say the wrong thing that will not only get herself hurt but a lot of other people as well. Liz has always been a fan of minding her own business and preferred it if everyone else showed the same courtesy, but Ester has always been the complete opposite of Liz.

ย  ย  So given as this may have sounded a lot like teasing, Ester was also serious and was going to pester her about where she was heading until Liz caves in. Thankfully, she believed the little fib she told last night about being at Angela's. The unfortunate news on that front, she would never believe that twice in a row, given as Liz will never be one to voluntarily study or do anything remotely related to school work, especially on a weekend.

ย  ย  "Maybe I just felt like starting the day early and not wasting a perfectly good weekend sleeping threw it all?" Suggested Liz, thin eyebrows raised before taking another sip of her coffee. Prolonging telling them the truth was unnecessary but enjoyable, seeing the startled look on the couples faces before the two burst out laughing.

ย  ย ย  "Nice try," Danny denied, munching on his bacon with a cocky smirk. "She definitely has a hot date."

ย  ย  The youngest Chambers sister rolled her eyes at the two, knowing she needed to tell them the truth but was not looking forward to their pestering questions. "Actually, if you must know, a friend from school is picking me up in a couple hours."

ย  ย  A bright smile graced Ester's thin pink lips on the news. "Oh, okay. Is it the Swan girl again? She is very sweet, I am really glad you two connected like you have."

ย  ย  "Speaking of Bella Swan, you'll never believe who has a massive crush on her?" Danny puts in before Liz had the chance to respond, amusement dancing in his hazel eyes. "Jake."

ย  ย ย  Ester giggled at the news. "Really? That is so cute. I don't think Jacob has really liked anyone before."

ย  ย  "He has, but not the way he likes Bella Swan. Hasn't been able to shut up about her since he ran into her and Liz at the beach." Danny examined, sharing a look with Liz who giggled at the thought. She knew Jake was going to get the wrong idea with Bella flirting with him at the beach for information, and though she thinks it was wrong for the latter to do that, she did find his crush on her friend to be exactly like Ester described. Cute and sweet.

"Yeah, it was painfully obvious." Monotones Liz, taking a spoon full of eggs into her mouth before continuing on. "But no, I'm not going to see Bella. I'm actually going to Jasper Hale's house."

ย  ย  Ester basically dropped her fork in shock. "Hale? As in Dr. Cullen's adoptive son, Hale? You're going to the Cullen's house?"

ย  ย  Upon the particular name being mentioned, Danny's once amused expression dropped as his eyes darted over to the young blonde. Liz honestly did not have any reason to lie, but she needed some excuse because telling her sister that she was going there to get answers about the accident was most undoubtedly not an option. "Um, yeah, he invited me to have lunch with his family."

ย  ย  Shit, bad choice of words.

ย  ย  Ester's expression went from shocked to thrilled in a matter of seconds. "Oh my god, so it is a date!"

ย  ย  "No, it's nothing of the sort." Liz protested, finishing up her coffee and taking another bite of her eggs. "We actually spent the majority of the time since he's moved here avoiding each other, mostly because he was rude to me for no apparent reason. He has apologized recently and I may have sort of forced him into a friendship without his consent." Both Ester and Danny shared an odd look with one another before turning back to the teenager. "I think we both need it, and the first time I invited him to hang out as friends he made some lame excuse which I only got annoyed with. Now I think he is just trying to make up for it."

ย  ย  Well, it's not like I lied or anything. Just didn't tell the full truth.

ย  ย  Though Danny's expression still held some worry, Ester's once concerned look twisted into a genuine smile of enthusiasm. "Well, that actually sounds really nice. It's a shame I have to work, I would love to meet him."

ย  ย  Wanting the subject to change, Liz was grateful upon looking at the clock on the wall before turning back to her sister. "Speaking of, doesn't your shift start at ten?"

ย  ย  Frowning, Ester looked up at the clock to see it was five minutes to ten before cursing profusely, jumping from her chair and scattering to grab her things. Liz watched in amusement as her sister panicked, the oldest Chambers siblings giving Danny a peck on the lips before running out of the door. Once the sound of the door slamming shut caused Liz to turn back to her meal as the atmosphere suddenly became an eerie silence for a few moments before Liz looked up to see a concern Danny sitting back in his seat, staring at her with his arms crossed.

ย  ย  "What?" questioned Liz, getting up and putting her plate in the sink before getting another cup of coffee.

ย  ย  "Since when are you friends with the Cullen's?"

ย  ย  The curly haired blonde shrugged her shoulders, taking the cream out of the fridge and pouring it into her mug. "I don't know, since now. What's with the third degree?"

ย  ย  "I'm not giving you third degree," Danny states, moving his and Ester's plates towards the sink and scrapping the remainder into the garbage disposal. "The Cullen's are bad news, Liz. I think you should choose your company more carefully, is all."

ย  ย  Although his reaction was strange, she shouldn't have been surprised given Jacob and his friends reaction at the mention of the particular family. Their tribe legends really must worry them, if only they knew that part of it was the truth.

ย  ย  Though she has grown to love Danny like the future brother-in-law he will soon become, she did not bother listening to his warning, despite the fact that it was an accurate one. "Thanks, Danny, but I think I'll be okay."

๐€๐‘๐‘๐ˆ๐•๐ˆ๐๐† ๐€๐“ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‚๐”๐‹๐‹๐„๐ household was more surreal if anything, mostly because of the fact that Liz was about to enter a house filled with a family of blood drinking vampires definitely raised red flags in her mind, but for some reason the reassurance that came from the calming look on Jasper's face was enough to ease her mind. She wonders if he was finding a way to use his ability on her, but his words explaining how she affected how he used his gift still confused her greatly.

ย  ย  Jasper had picked her up at noon on the dot, where Liz was not at all surprised that he seemed to know about her discomfort with driving in a car and was very cautious about the roads he took, which Liz had decided not to even question him on seeing as she was actually very grateful that he did. She had thought seeing him again was going to be awkward, but it wasn't. It was definitely strange, but in a way that she still doesn't really know how to act around him. Nonetheless, they managed to drive in comfortable silence, exchanging pleasantries on the way.

ย  ย  Parking in front of the house, neither one made any attempt to exit the vehicle. Liz was too busy admiring the glamorous house like mansion before her while Jasper couldn't help but admire her. She could feel his gaze on her, but she seemed to not be bothered by his stares like she used to be. After a minute, Liz finally turned to Jasper, the worry on her face becoming known by the Hale boy, the question she has been wanting to ask him since he knocked on her front door finally slipping past her lips. "Was it bad when you told them about me?"

ย  ย  Jasper hesitated, thinking his answer through but did not blinked the whole time. "At first, yes. There was a lot of yelling, arguing and judgement, mostly from Rosalie and Edward. But then there was understanding and acceptance from everyone else, mostly from Emmett because he likes to believe he knows and trusts you the best, more than I do, he claims."

ย  ย  Liz smiled at the thought of Emmett trusting her. She hasn't really seen her math tutor since she uncovered the truth, but she was growing closer to him each session, seeing is how he seemed to be very good at getting her to understand certain problems that her own math teacher can't even get her to understand. Knowing that Emmett was happy that she knew and trusted her settled her nerves only slightly, the idea of being in the presence of someone besides Jasper who she truly believes has a kind heart was settling for her nerves.

ย  ย  "Come on, they're all waiting." Jasper encouraged in a calming tone, before finally exiting the drivers side and quickly making his way towards the passengers' side, not giving the blonde a chance to open the door herself seeing as he beat her to it. Liz muttered a small 'thanks' under her breath, ignoring his speed that startled her a bit, before slowly following the tall male up to the front porch and was astounded by all the windows and glass this house was made of.

ย  ย  "So many glass walls. Isn't this like, every exposing for you guys?"

ย  ย  Jasper took a look out of said glass, enjoying the scenery of the woods before shaking his head with a ghost of a smile pulling on the corner of his thin lips. "Not at all. We are alone out here, we own a big part of this land. We don't have to be afraid to be ourselves here."

ย  ย  Liz nodded in understanding, neither of the two saying any more as Jasper gestures for her to follow him up the stairs, the Chambers' female complying as she took in all the rooms they passed, becoming awestruck by each and every one of them that she couldn't help but break the silence. "This interior design is incredible. It's absolutely stunning."

ย  ย  The Hale male chuckle, casting a look down at the blonde behind him. "I think you just made Esme's day."

ย  ย  Liz frowned from his words. "Wait, they can hear me?"

ย  ย  "What part of having super hearing did you not understand?" Jasper responded with an amused raised brow. Liz only responded with a small glare, rolling her eyes at her own stupid question just as they reached the top, Jasper going down the hall until they reached a very large room, so massive that it basically took the blondes' breath away. She could tell this was clearly the living room, given that a large television mounted against the wall and white 'L' shaped sofa placed in front of it with a piano in the far corner and a love seat by the window.

ย  ย  It was hard for Liz to truly admire it all when she looked over to see a group of four standing by the corner, discussing in harsh whispers. Her presence was enough to finally break it up, allowing Liz to get a better look, recognizing Emmett among them with Rosalie by his side. Dr. Cullen was also someone she recognized but he stood next to a gorgeous brunette older woman who seemed to be the only member of the family who still remained a mystery to the curly haired blonde. She shared the same complexion as the rest, but who looked about to be the most comfortable in her presence as Dr. Cullen was whereas she noticed the others struggle with stiff expression at school.

ย  ย  "There she is!" A booming voice bounced off the walls, no one surprised to see Emmett already moving towards the female, picking her up in a big bear hug and spinning her around. She was taken by surprise by the sudden greeting but already knowing how Emmett was, she honestly shouldn't have been and was thankful when he placed her back on her feet. "I knew you were going to figure it out. You may be brutally awful at math, but I knew you had some brains inside that big head of yours."

ย  ย  Liz's jaw dropped, slightly pushing him away from her at her words. "I wish the same could be said about you."

ย  ย  A few others laughed with her when she was approached by the woman she is meeting for the first time, looking like she was going to hug her but seemed to stop herself by holding out her hand for a formal greeting. "Hi, Liz. It's so nice to finally meet you, I'm Esme. I've heard so much about you."

ย  ย  Liz accepted her outstretched hand with her own, trying her best not to react to the coldness of her grip as the corner of her lips tugged up into a small smile, her cheeks turning red from all the attention being placed on her. "It's nice to meet you, too. And if any of those things came from Emmett's big mouth, they are not true."

ย  ย  The big gorilla man pointed at himself in mock offense as Esme and Liz chuckled at his response. Dr. Cullen made his way over beside his wife, smiling down at the young girl who had learned to care for her after she was transferred from the hospital in Seattle to Forks after the accident and her knee surgery. "Hello, Liz, it's great to see you again in much better circumstances."

ย  ย  Liz let out a breathless chuckle. "You're telling me, Doc."

ย  ย  "Please, call me Carlisle."

ย  ย  Liz only nodded in agreement, looking over to see a brooding blonde still refusing to even acknowledge her. Liz has never once spoken to Rosalie, or the others until recently but she could notice the entire mistrust that held behind her dark sneer. Liz didn't want to be rude and not greet her, though she knew it probably wasn't the best idea but went against her better judgement anyway.

ย  ย  "Hi, Rosalie."

ย  ย  Her dark eyes shifted towards the petite human, her sneer turning into a harsh glare like they were allowing the devil himself into their home. Liz held her posture, refusing to let this girl tear her down, though she could feel her body become stiff under her gaze. It was hard, like she was challenging a very angry vampire who could rip her to shreds, but given the fact that Liz was very stubborn, she held her ground and she held it well if she said so herself.

ย  ย  Jasper was the first to speak, seeing as Rosalie was doing everything in her power not to snap. "Rosalie is still worried about the dangers that come with telling a human our secret. She doesn't think you belong here."

ย  ย  Liz's eyes shifted towards the other female blonde, understanding why she was being so hostile. "She's right. I can't begin to understand the importance of this secret, so she has every right not to trust me or like me for that matter. I just hope I can prove to you all that you can trust me. I only really want answers about what happened during the accident, I would never tell anyone."

ย  ย  "We know that," Carlisle reassured, as he had seen her struggling first hand about the accident when she was transferred from West Seattle Hospital to Forks Hospital. "So does Rosalie, she is just having a hard time adjusting."

ย  ย  Again, Rosalie didn't say anything, which Liz found sort of odd seeing as the Hale girl did not strike her as someone to keep silent for long. Like she was biting her tongue, and judging by the look on her face, she was biting down on it hard.

ย  ย  "Liz!"

ย  ย  Liz's attention was taken away from the rest and turned towards the hall as the familiar pixie like vampire can skipping in, her golden eyes wide and her painted pink lips smiling as she moves into the room and immediately goes to hug the human. Liz was taken back by the embrace, not exactly sure what to do, but when she lifted her hand to pat her back, her entire body stiffened once her palm laid on her back. An image flashed through her mind the minute he embraced. It was short and quick, but it was enough to send a chill down her spin as it flashed through her mind.

ย  ย  It was of the Highway 19 accident, as if she was watching the explosion that ended many lives from what felt like a mile away in someone else's eyes. It was surreal, she felt her heartbeat pick up and the fear danced in her eyes as she immediately pulled away from Alice, the vampire surprised by her reaction, as was everyone else as it replayed over and over again in her mind. It was so real, she saw all the cars, she saw the gas leaking from the fuel tank trucks that were knocked over and the vehicle of the passed out driver driving head first into it when the explosion went off. She even saw a flash of Emmett's face, but it was short lived and as if just glanced over. Liz felt like she was trembling, taking a step away as Jasper reached out to steady her, worry plastered over his face.

ย  ย  "Liz, what is it? What's the matter?" She could hear the panic in his tone. It took everything in the blonde not to let a tear spill, trying hard to recover from what just happened has her deep blue orbs trailed up to the tiny vampire who was beyond confused as to what happened.

ย  ย  "I'm sorry, did I squeeze you too hard?" Alice asked with a regretful tone.

ย  ย  "You were there too." Liz stated in almost a grumbled whisper, ignoring the pixie's question completely. "You were in Seattle. You saw the accident, you witnessed the explosion."

ย  ย  Eyes turned to Alice, who was beyond confused as she turned to Jasper, trying to figure out if he had already told her. Jasper shook his head, already knowing her question as the others. "I haven't told her anything more about the accident. It was why I brought her here, so we can all tell her together."

ย  ย  "H-He didn't tell me anything." Liz explained in a shaky voice. "Um, I need to sit down."

ย  ย  Jasper moved out of the way as the Chambers female found the closest seat, which turned out to be the edge of the 'L' shaped sofa. Everyone was staring at her in concern, even Rosalie though her expression was mixed with just plan confusion and a little annoyance.

ย  ย  Just as her heart rate finally settled down, she could not stop replaying what just happened as she looked up at Alice with wide eyes. "You were there weren't you?" She pressed, her eyes also shifting to Emmett as well, remembering his face briefly as smoke covered him. "So were you. The three of you were there in Seattle." Again, no one said anything and she felt her anger start to boil. "Please. I need to know."

ย  ย  Being the closest and sense how tense she got, Jasper spared a look with Carlisle, who just nodded in confirmation to speak. "Yes. The three of us were there. Alice, Emmett and myself. I thought you didn't remember anything from the accident?"

ย  ย  Liz was only more confused than ever, rubbing circles on the side of her head. "I don't..."

ย  ย  "She saw it when she touched Alice," a new voice came into the room, Edward appearing out of nowhere, standing near the staircase with a stiff expression. Liz was too distraught to question his whereabouts earlier. "It wasn't her own memory, it was Alice's. At least, that's what it looked like from what I managed to see in her mind."

ย  ย  "You don't think that means anything do you?" Esme was the one to question both her son and husband, in a way that seemed they both knew what she meant without her having to elaborate.

ย  ย  "No way to know for sure." Carlisle stated but Liz was still more focused on the accident to really care what they were going on about.

ย  ย  "Please, someone start explaining!" Liz hadn't meant to sound so desperate, but her shaky and nervous voice gave it away. Her eyes scattered through the family, lingering on Jasper with a look of plea. "You promised you'd explain."

ย  ย  Nodding, Jasper took a deep, unneeded breath and sat down in the seat next to her. Esme also sat down in the love seat and the rest stood hovering over her, uncomfortably. After a couple seconds, Liz expected Jasper to speak, but was surprised when Alice's voice hung out.

ย  ย  "I'm aware Jasper told you about my gift to see the future?" She confirmed, earning a slow, uneasy nod from the curly haired blonde and urged the petite vampire to continue. "Well, that day, four months ago, I had a vision. It was hazy, a bit blurry but that's usually how they are when you are involved with them, which I know Jasper also explained to you, but it was easy to make out through all the mess. We were hunting at the time, Jasper, Emmett and myself. I saw the entire accident. I saw your parents car flip, I saw several other vehicles slamming into yours, and I also saw the explosion. It was a late vision, the accident was going to occur soon, I could feel it. Jasper and Emmett, they knew something was wrong and when I told them, Jasper-"

ย  ย  She paused them, looking up nervously at her adoptive brother as if not knowing how to continue. It was like she was asking permission to continue or hoping Jasper would take over. Liz thought both when Jasper started to speak, his voice steady and clear.

ย  ย  "I know this might not make sense, Liz, but I felt a strong need to save you. The thought of something terrible like that happening to you was not something I could bear. A severe accident like that is something none of us should have gotten involved in, not with the casualties and the blood. No telling our control, especially mine. But at that moment, the blurriness of Alice's vision and the unknown of the outcome, I couldn't take the chance, not with you. We weren't too far out of Seattle and it didn't take us long to get to the edge of the highway. But when we got there, I nearly lost control. Getting closer to the scene or you wouldn't have been good and Alice was physically holding me back so I didn't lose control."

ย  ย  Liz's mind was running wild as she thought about the flashes she saw when she touch Alice, how she saw woods and smoke and the explosion. She started to wonder if she had witnessed Alice's vision or what she saw from the woods by the highway. But still, none of this was making any sense, mostly her being able to see anything Alice saw, but she tried not to focus too much on that just yet. Liz stared at Jasper, her eyes glossy and burning but still she refused to shed a tear. "If you didn't help me, then how did I get out of the car and away from the explosion?"

ย  ย  "Because I carried you out." Liz's head snapped towards the larger male, looking at her math tutor in surprise. Emmett gave her a lazy smile. "I had more control and Jasper was too busy fighting Alice to get free. I found you in and out of conscientiousness, but you were pretty much out of it."

ย  ย  Liz's heart thudded in her chest, her throat voice failing her as she tried to remain composed but it was clear she was breaking. "A-And my p-parents..." She didn't need to finish for Emmett to understand what she was trying to ask. She was wondering why he hadn't helped them. Why only her?

ย  ย  Emmett shook his head sadly. "I checked for them. They were both gone when I got there."

ย  ย  Liz shook her head hastily, her hands trembling as she rubbed them together. "But my mom... I heard her talking to someone."

ย  ย  "She must have been trying to call for help." Carlisle speaks for the first time, looking down at the blonde with sympathy. "She was trying to call anyone who might hear her."

ย  ย  Liz's eyes shifted back to Emmett who sighed. "She wasn't breathing when I got to you, Liz. I was able to get you out from underneath the car seat crushing your leg, and I got you as far as I could manage before I wasn't able to be around you anymore. Your head was bleeding and I had to leave you on the side of the road."

ย  ย  She wasn't able to hold back anymore as her strength failed her and she felt the tears pour down both her cheeks, squeezing her eyes shut as the horrible image of her mom just trying to call out to anyone that could hear her and the fact that she wasn't talking to anyone in specific hit her hard. Liz let in an intake of air, her throat closing up and her tears turned into sobs. Realizing she was falling a part in front of them all, receiving heartfelt looks from all of them, even Rosalie held sympathy for her, Liz couldn't let them see her fall apart like this.

ย  ย  "I-I'm sorry, e-excuse me." Forcing herself to say, Liz shot up and left the room, speed walking as far as she could get from them without anyone bothering to stop her. She didn't realize what room she entered, just kept walking until she ended up in a room that didn't have another exit and she leaned against the wall, arms clutching her stomach and more sobs escaped her lips, sliding down until she was on the floor and clutching her knees tightly to her stomach, her entire body trembling.

ย  ย  Liz finally got her answers. She thought she would feel different, like finally understanding how she was one out of two of the only survivors from the accident. But all she felt was more pain and anguish then when she woke up in the hospital. It was like another slap in the face. And the worst part... she still had so many questions. However, right now, her tough exterior was thrown away and all Liz wanted to do was sob. So that's exactly what she did.

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost a year since I updated this! I want to apologize to all who have stayed loyal to this story! I love this story so much, I remember struggling so hard on this chapter and then I was stressing and going through shit in my own life that I went on one of the longest hiatus I've even been on. I'm normally only gone for a couple weeks, I've been gone for months and I feel like crap. Thank you to anyone who has stuck with Liz and who has been patient with me, it means so much to me!

Also, to regard my author's note in the last chapter, I know I expressed that I was going to reveal what is wrong with Liz but I felt like it would have been too much in this chapter and needed to end it where it was. The next chapter will DEFINITELY be reveal time, I promise!!! I also try not to wait another year before updating, this story is actually what got me back in Wattpad because I missed Liz and Jasper's story so much.

Hope everyone liked this. It was a filler chapter/informative so yeah. Did anyone expect it to be Emmett who carried her? Just curious!
