22 BBY

Radio silence.

For seven years.

Radio silence.

Catelle had heard nothing from her former friends since they had departed from the temple years ago. No comm. No relayed messages. Nothing. Which was surprising to her, considering the fact that the three had been almost inseparable before they left. It felt out of character. But Vereya didn't mind. She no longer had the time to mind or care about what was going on outside of her own life. She had a job to do.

Protect Senator Amidala.

And she had been doing an incredible job at it, well, judging by the fact that there had been no major threats on her life...yet. The senator had dismissed Jedi protection while she was off Coruscant as she was being protected by Captain Typho, a decision that neither the Jedi nor the Chancellor took lightly. However when she arrived back at Coruscant, a bigger attempt on her life was made. It cost her one of her most trusted hand maidens, which truly took a hit on PadmΓ© Amidala.

The Chancellor had requested Amidala to be put under more Jedi protection, much to her disappointment. Apparently, he did not believe that one Jedi was enough- which was curious to say the least. Putting all queries to rest, Catelle escorted Padme back to her room; accompanied by none other than Jar Jar Binks.

"Are you alright, Senator?" The unfortunate senator had been pacing the room for the past hour, without saying a word. Catelle had asked her if she wanted to join her on the settee, but time after time she did not reply. It was her job, of course, to make sure that the young lady was okay both physically and emotionally.

"I will be as soon as they find out who is trying to assassinate me." Padme finally replied after a time of silence, with a sense of uncertainty in her voice.

"They will, Sena-"

"Please, Catelle, call me PadmΓ©. We've known each other for this long I believe all sense of formalities should have been dropped a while ago." The young senator interrupted Vereya as she slowed her pacing to a minimum. The two had been in some uncomfortable situations over the time that Catelle had been assigned on the task, it only felt natural for them to be on a first name basis.

"Yes...PadmΓ©. And I strongly believe that they will find those trying to kill you," The padawan reassured her new found friend, "I promise that we'll figure it out."

They had been protecting the peace across the galaxy for the past seven years.

They didn't have time to think about anything else.

Not even her.

They had been travelling through hyperspace on their way back to Coruscant when they received the message.

"Master Kenobi, you and Padawan Skywalker have a message from the temple." The pilot, Griff Domiko, called from the cockpit. To say that he wasn't liked would be an understatement, he treated people rather poorly which made people detest him very quickly. Anakin, however, just did not like his flying.

"Alright, relay it through." Kenobi responded, sounding as tired and exhausted as any man would after spending so long away from home.

As the message played, the attention of one Anakin Skywalker had been caught. He hadn't been listening to the message intently, he was instead just tinkering around with a loose ship part that he had found just lying there with no purpose. But when he heard it, he realised how close that they could be again. He heard nothing except that.

"...mission protecting...Amidala...assigned also is Padawan Vereya...as soon as..."

Young Skywalker had been restless the whole journey back to the city planet, both excited and nervous to see his best friend again.

Now, both Obi-Wan and him stood in the elevator heading to the apartment of Padme Amidala. Obi-Wan had somehow managed to remain composed, even though the very thought of how upset Catelle would be with the two of them made him feel horrible. He looked over at his padawan who seemed equally as nervous externally as the Jedi Knight was feeling internally.

"You seem a little on edge." He said, seemingly stating the obvious.

"Not at all." Instantly, Anakin stopped messing with his robes after he was called out.

"I haven't felt you this tense since...we fell into that next of Gundarks."

"You fell into that nightmare, Master," Skywalker scoffed, turning his focus to Kenobi, "And I rescued you, remember?"

"Oh...yes," Ben recalled, with a slight laugh- joined by Anakin as all senses of nervousness dissipated for a brief moment. This was only until Obi-Wan noticed the beads of sweat forming on his apprentices head, most likely out of apprehension, "You're sweating. Relax. Take a deep breath."

"I haven't seen her in seven years, Master."

An understanding silence fell upon them as they reached the apartment that they had been heading to; only to be greeted by the very overeager gungan, Jar Jar, who seemed to be rather pleased to see his friends.

"Obi? Obi! Mesa so smilen to seein yousa!" He exclaimed, grasping the hands of the Jedi Knight quite tightly.

"Good to see you again, Jar Jar." Kenobi politely smiled at the being that he had met ten years ago.

"Senator Padme! Caty! Mesa palos here! Lookie, lookie, Senator. Desa Jedi arriven." Binks announced to PadmΓ© who was stood out on the balcony, accompanied by Captain Typho and one of her hand maidens. Catelle hung back on the balcony, just for a second, focusing on the many speeders in the sky lanes and the low breeze that lingered.

"It's a great pleasure to see you again, mi'lady." Obi-Wan bowed his head in respectfulness and shook the senator's hand gently. The sound of her old friend's voice caused Catelle to re-enter the room, it truly hadn't dawned on her how long it had been since she heard it. The shock from her hearing the man not long forgotten could be felt by anyone, even the most oblivious gungan.

And not only was Obi-Wan there, but so was Anakin.

Her best friend, whom she hadn't seen in years, had grown to be someone hardly recognisable to her. He was no longer the scruffy looking boy that she would always annoy the living force out of, but instead he had a mature sense surrounding him. His padawan braid had grown with him and he seemed to sport darker robes than before, they suited him...a lot.

Anakin, on the other hand, was captivated by her- she had grown to be a mature Jedi, that could be seen in the way she wore her pale Jedi robes. Before where they were stained with mud and engine oil, was now in pristine condition. Her light cream leggings (which were in a similar colour to the rest of her outfit) were no longer tinted with green from the grass in the courtyard and her hair was no longer knotty but instead neatly combed out and falling down by her shoulders with her braid resting on her shoulder too.

Force, he had no idea how much he missed her until she was standing inches away from him and for the briefest second he believed he was hallucinating when he saw her. All he wanted to do was run up to here and embrace her, but he knew that it would be uncivilised- and he wasn't too sure that she even wanted to see him.

"Ani?" PadmΓ©'s melodic voice snapped Skywalker out of his trance, "My goodness, you've grown." She said with a small smile as she remembered the boy that she had met on Tatooine a decade ago.

"So have you. Grown more beautiful, I mean," The young man stepped forward as if he was directing his speech to the senator, but his eyeline said something truly different. The only person that he could focus on was Catelle, every word he said he meant for her. Not that she understood that, she couldn't focus on what he was saying- the only thing she could focus on is that they were here. But she could sense the endearment, just not the fact that it was aimed at her, "Well, f-for a senator, I mean." He quickly said, switching his attention back to the lady in front of him to cover up his tracks- silently cursing himself in his head.

PadmΓ© returned an awkward smile, "Ani, you'll always be that little boy I knew on Tatooine." She began to walk to the seat where her and Catelle had previously sat, followed closely by Catelle who was simply trying to avoid conversation.

"Our presence here will be invisible, mi'lady. I can assure you." Kenobi followed the two over to the seating area with Anakin trailing behind him like a dog on a leash. A very, very loose leash.

"I'm Captain Typho of Her Majesty's security service," The man who Vereya had been working with for the past many rotations introduced himself to the two new Jedi in the room, "Queen Jamillia has been informed of your assignment, as she was informed the first time. I am grateful you are here, Master Kenobi. The situation is more dangerous than the senator will admit. It does now call for more than one of your kind."

"I don't need more security. I need answers. I wanna know who's trying to kill me." PadmΓ© spoke with a slight quiver in her voice, looking over at Catelle who simply nodded in reassurance.

"We are here to protect you, Senator, not to start an investigation."

"We will find out who's trying to kill you, PadmΓ©. I promise you." Directly contrasting his master, Anakin leaned forward and spoke straight to the senator. He didn't even ask his master, he just spoke. He didn't think (stupidly enough), he just spoke.

"We will not exceed our mandate, my young Padawan learner." Obi-Wan reminded his apprentice. They did not need to get deeper into the situation than they already were.

"I meant that in the interest of protecting her, Master, of course."

"We will not go through this exercise again, Anakin, and you will pay attention to my lead."

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why else do you think we were assigned to her if not to find the killer? Protection is a job for local security, not Jedi."

The back and forth seemed to go on forever, neither could see the other's point and it was becoming more than frustrating. Catelle had never remembered them to bicker so much or disagree with one and other in this way. Something had changed, or they had changed. They weren't the people that she knew seven years ago, no, they were separate people entirely.

"Is that what you think I am? Local security?" Finally speaking up, the girl interrupted the arguing that was growing tireless. Just hearing her voice sent a wave of emotions flooding through the two men: the sound that they hadn't heard for so long brought back many memories that sometimes they wished to forget.

"No, no no no. I mean- I was just saying-" Anakin began to panic as he tried to backtrack on his words, "It's overkill. Investigation is implied in our mandate."

"We will do exactly as the council instructed." Obi-Wan stated, replying to his padawan sternly, "And you will learn your place, young one."

Anakin gave a small, embarrassed nod as an awkward silence fell upon the room when the bickering finally stopped. Everyone exchanged glances with each other, as if questioning who would speak next.

"Perhaps with merely your presence...the mystery surrounding this threat will be revealed. Now, if you'll excuse me, I will retire." PadmΓ© declared as she stood up from her seated position, closely followed by everyone else.

As the group began to disperse, Obi-Wan and Captain Typho began talking about the level's of security that had already been put in place. This conversation did not spark the interest of neither Anakin or Catelle- she had been checking the security every single night so it was nice to have someone else take that responsibility off her shoulders for a little bit of time; he, however, was only interested in one thing in the room.

"Cat, hi..." He was still in utter disbelief that she was standing so close to him after not seeing her for such a long time. However, Catelle no longer felt the same way.

"We have a job to do, Anakin, this isn't some sort of reunion." Stepping away from him, the female padawan walked out to the balcony to try and get away from the moment. Anakin followed closely behind her, trying to grab a hold of her attention again.

"Hey! Talk to me. I missed you, starry." The young man reached out to hold his friend's hands, a gesture that meant a lot to him. The use of his old nickname for her made Catelle wince as she let her guard down for the smallest moment, allowing him to hold her hands for much longer than he probably should have. Snapping back to reality, the girl quickly removed her hands from his grasp- putting them by her side.

"No. You do not get to use that nickname like you used to anymore. You're not allowed. You left, and you never said another word about it. So you do not get to walk back into my life and pretend that everything's okay again. It doesn't work that. A letter. A kriffing letter, that's all I got from you. So please, do not pretend that we know each other anymore because I certainly have no idea who is standing in front of me right now." Catelle snapped, poking her finger in her old friend's chest. Tears pricked at her eyes as she let out all her pent up frustration with the boy, him only staring back at her in silence. Her finger kept probing at Anakin's chest, her mouth muttering incoherent words that could hardly be understood.

"It's me. Cat, stop. Catelle..." Noticing how upset his friend was becoming, Anakin grabbed the hand that was so aggressively attacking his chest and pulled it away from his body. Instead of just leaving the action at that, he used the same hand that he had a hold of to bring Vereya into a tight embrace. Silent sobs shook her frame as Anakin just held her close. The rhythmic sound of his increasing heartbeat gave Catelle a sense of tranquillity- even for just a moment. To anyone who hadn't known the two before, this would seem like a regular mannerism between friends, however, the hug held so much more weight than that. Even for just a few minutes, the two felt at home: they were each other's home.

"Ahem."

A cough from the door way caused the pair to shy away from each other- as much as Anakin didn't want to do so. Obi-Wan didn't question the gesture, he knew how close they used to be and how little physical contact Catelle must have gotten since they were gone so to just see them behaving in a normal way, even for just a second, was nice.

Clearing her throat, Catelle began to speak again, "Um, I'll be going then. Don't worry, I'll take first watch." She nodded at the two before hastily leaving the balcony behind, feeling his eyes following her out- almost desperate to follow her.

"You look tired." Obi-Wan stated after Catelle was out of ear shot.

"I don't sleep well anymore." The young man admitted to his master, tapping his fingers on the railing.

"Because of your mother?" To say that was a loaded question would be down playing it. Anakin always felt guilty for leaving his mother behind on Tatooine, no matter how many times he was reassured that she was okay the overwhelming sense of guilt constantly flowed through him. Nodding, Anakin looked down and away from Kenobi- unable to meet his eyeline.

"I don't know why I keep dreaming about her."

"Dreams pass in time." Obi-Wan stepped closer to his apprentice, having some idea of how Skywalker was feeling due to the fact that this wasn't the first time that they had this conversation.

"I'd much rather dream about Catelle. Just being around her again is...intoxicating." The Chosen One expressed with the faintest smile.

"Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin. They betray you," Obi-Wan spoke, in a way speaking from experience, "You've made a commitment to the Jedi order, a commitment not easily broken," He spoke to his padawan echoing the same words that he had once said to Elle from his perspective eleven years ago, "And don't forget, she is also a Jedi, and made the same commitment as you."

"She's not like the other members of the order, Master."

"Who isn't?" Catelle exited from the entrance corridor, having only heard the last bit of the conversation. Instead of answering, the two fell silent- sharing awkward glances between each other. The young girl raised an eyebrow in response but decided to ignore it, "Captain Typho has more than enough men downstairs. No assassin would try that way. Any activity up here?"

"Quiet as a tomb." Anakin informed her, even though they had not been keeping much of a watch, "I don't like just waiting for something to happen to her."

"What's going on?" Obi-Wan questioned, looking down at the beeping from his monitor.

"Ah, she covered the cameras. I don't think she liked the idea of you two watching her." The girl noted, crossing her arms over her chest as her eyes flicked between the two.

"What is she thinking?" Kenobi uttered as he strode over to the door of the senator's room.

"She programmed R2 to warn us if there is an intruder." Catelle trailed behind her friend , trying to stop him from worrying.

"There are many other ways to kill a senator."

"I know."

"But we also want to catch this assassin don't we, Master?" Skywalker inquired, somewhat understanding what the plan was. This perked the attention of Obi-Wan, who also realised the idea too- and how reckless it was.

"You're using her as bait." He said as he walked towards Catelle and Anakin, who were stood side by side. For once where there was a meagre height difference, now Anakin towered over her- which was a surprise for the both of them.

"It was her idea."

"Don't worry. No harm will come to her. I can sense everything going on in that room. Trust me." Anakin added on to Catelle's point in an attempt to sway the older Jedi into agreeing with the plan.

"It's too risky. Besides, your senses aren't that attuned, my young apprentice." Obi-Wan stated, getting a small snicker out of Vereya who managed to cover her laugh up with a small clear of her throat.

"And yours are?" Anakin answered back, taking a slight bit of offense to his master's statement. Oh, the things you could do to a man just by attacking his ego.

"Possibly." Both Elle and Ben responded at the same time, knowing full well that a simple one word answer would annoy the other boy more than he would admit.

"That's not fair, my senses are--" Stopping mid sentence, Anakin looked over his shoulder- seemingly sensing the same thing that the other Jedi in the room could too.

"Do you--" Catelle started.

"I sense it too."

Taking off as quickly as a pod, the trio began to sprint to Senator Amidala's room. Only one thing was crossing Catelle's mind as she ran- what if they're too late? Using all of their energy, each person channelled the energy of the force to boost their speed as they reached the door. Both Skywalker and Vereya had the same instinct to ignite their lightsaber's as soon as they entered the bedroom. The resting chamber shone a bright turquoise colour as the green and blue hue's of the saber's mixed- illuminating what was previously dark.

Anakin, out of instinct, jumped onto the bed and sliced the murderous creatures that were trying to kill PadmΓ© in half- saving her life better than Catelle felt like she did. The senator woke up startled as she tried to asses everything that had gone on in the mere seconds before she awoke- the room had fallen into chaos. Obi-Wan, on the other hand, saw the droid that had deposited the worm-like being into the room just outside the window. Running towards the window, he dove through it- grabbing onto the flying droid that began to whizz away with him hanging onto it.

"Stay here!" Catelle instructed PadmΓ© as she began to run out of the room, "Anakin!" She called out over her shoulder at the boy who remained stood still on the senator's bed. He had been so focused on killing whatever threatened PadmΓ©'s life that he was no longer concentrating on anything surrounding him, "Anakin Skywalker!" She called out again, this time with more urgency in her voice.

"Coming!" Jumping off the bed, he began to sprint next to Catelle as the two made their way to the neatest speeder bay.

Reaching the vehicle bay, Catelle and Anakin scanned over every single speeder in eyesight- trying to group them by capability from memory, until they settled on one parked by the wall.

"The yellow one!" Both of them exclaimed towards each other, smiling when they realised that they had both had the same idea. In Anakin's mind, this was a sign that the bond that they had once shared was still there- it was frail but still there. The pair quickly began to run over to the yellow vehicle, unintentionally racing against the other. Anakin reached it first, hopping into the drivers seat (which was good for him considering the fact that he liked to be in control when it came to flying). Catelle was seconds behind him, jumping into the passengers seat leaving just enough space for when they found Obi-Wan.

Setting off as quickly as they could, Anakin wove his way through all the Coruscanti traffic- moving up and down in a disjunct manner. It had taken this long for Catelle to remember how reckless of a flyer he was, and how she had a higher chance of dying from Anakin's flying than being attacked by a bounty hunter.

"Anakin! Up there!" Catelle shouted as she pointed up at the Jedi knight who was currently falling from the sky.

"Got it!" The boy punched the thrusters as he raced to get under his master before he fell to his certain death. He dove down in the air at a rapid pace, causing Catelle to grip onto the sides of the speeder for dear life. Anybody who flew like that would be practically signing a death warrant. There was a thud as Master Kenobi landed on the back of the speeder, due to Anakin's unfortunate gauge of target. The poor man crawled to the front of the vehicle, sitting next to Elle- therefore sandwiching her between the two men.

"What took you so long?" Obi-Wan shouted over the incessant noise of the motor's surrounding them.

"Oh, you know, Master. We couldn't find a speeder that we really liked." Anakin responded with a small smirk forming on his lips.

"There he is."

"With the open cockpit." Catelle added on, nudging Kenobi in the side teasingly.

"And the right speed capabilities." Anakin tried to hide his smirk by keeping a concentrated face, however he couldn't help letting a little smile get through. He had missed the three of them being together.

"If you spent as much time practicing your saber techniques as you do your wit, you would rival Master Yoda as a swordsman." Obi-Wan retorted as his padawan accelerated further.

"I thought I already did."

"Only in your mind, Skywalker." Vereya teased her friend, diminishing his ego further.

The chase continued. Twisting and turning through the very busy lanes of Coruscant. The person they were chasing wasn't too far in front of them, but whoever they were certainly had a lead on the trio. Anakin, in a rush to get in front of the other person, began to dive down the lanes at a rapid speed- causing a jolt to go through the speeder, almost knocking Catelle and Obi-Wan right out of it.

In a rush to stabilise herself, young Catelle grabbed onto anything she could. She could no longer grab onto the side of the speeder because she wasn't at the edge, and if she grabbed onto anything else something would happen to the speeder. So, without thinking she grabbed onto the next closest thing.

Anakin's thigh.

She didn't dare look at him, but she could tell he was looking at her. He kept looking at her as he continued plummeting down through Coruscant, he didn't take his eyes of her.

"Pull up, Anakin. Pull up!" The panicked voice of his dear master caused Anakin to snap out of his trance, he had quickly realised that they were hurdling towards hitting something.Β  Pulling up quickly, Anakin put his focus back on flying as the three narrowly missed crashing.

"You know I don't like it when you do that." Obi-Wan said as he caught his breath.

"Sorry, Master. I forgot you don't like flying." Skywalker took a glance back down at Catelle's hand, which remained unmoved. It wasn't until she noticed him looking at her hand that she realised it was still resting there- realising this, she quickly removed her hand and placed it on her own lap.

"I don't mind flying, but what you're doing is suicide!" The Jedi knight shouted over the background noise.

The chase seemed endless. The bounty hunter that they were so obviously chasing remained at arms length, making it impossible for Anakin to fly fast enough to catch up. They raced through traffic, power couplings and nearly knocked a few people out of their vehicles too. But still, they were no closer to catching whoever was driving. Every time they edged closer, the assassin raced further away. So, when they swerved left to lose the Jedi, Anakin Skywalker continued straight on- calling it a 'shortcut'. Of course, Obi-Wan was not contented with this idea but that didn't matter any more- the boy would not listen to him no matter how relentless he was.

"Well, you've lost him." Kenobi sighed in disappointment when they finally stopped racing against the other driver. Catelle looked over at Anakin, who had a slight, mischievous twinkle in his eyes. The young woman opened her mouth to question what in the galaxy he was up to, but he subtly shook his head to tell her not to.

What on Coruscant is that boy up to?

"I'm deeply sorry, Master."

"That was some shortcut, Anakin. He went completely the other way. Once again you've proved--"

"If you'll excuse me."

So that's what he was up to...

Catelle watched as her friend free fell through the many levels of Coruscant, recklessly abandoning his master and his lov-- his friend in the air speeder to chase after him.

"I hate it when he does that." Obi-Wan muttered under his breath and he followed his rash padawan with his eyes.

"I'm sorry, he's done this before?!" Not that it surprised her, but Anakin had always been the one that would do idiotic things that would potentially put his life at risk- even when he was a child.

"Yes, Elle, he has," His tone softened as he turned to talk to his old friend. He had a soft spot for Catelle, he would always have a soft spot for Catelle, but in that very moment they had a careless padawan who was surely plummeting towards certain catastrophe, "Catelle, take the wheel! Catelle Vereya, take the kriffing wheel whilst I find Anakin's lightsaber, which he's probably already lost by now...again."

"On it!"

Clambering over into the driver's seat, she grabbed a hold of the wheel and began to steer the vibrant air vehicle down through the urbanised planet. A few shouts and angry cries came from the citizens in the other transports as Catelle and Obi-Wan cut through the various traffic lanes that were probably not meant to be travelled through vertically. The pair both scanned the skyline for any sign of their fellow Jedi. It wasn't until they saw him hanging off the back of a speeder that they knew that he had found what he was looking for, who he was looking for. The assassin may have eluded them briefly before, but there was no chance that they could do it for a second time. Or at least, that's what they hoped.

With all the hustle and bustle of the action, Vereya hardly noticed the silver chunk of metal that came hurdling towards the flying vehicle. Obi-Wan only assumed that it had to be his apprentice's lightsaber hilt, which- as he correctly predicted- he had come to lose again. As a Jedi, one was always told that their lightsaber was their life. It was a teaching, passed through generation to generation of youngling's, to padawan's, to Jedi. One of the first lesson's that Master Plo Koon had taught Catelle was exactly that- her lightsaber was everything to her, to lose it would be to lose a life. Every jedi remembers this rule, this way. All except Anakin, who's lightsaber now resided in his master's hands.

They never kept too far from the run away padawan, finally landing on the ground mere seconds after both Anakin and the assassin crash landed in a civilian packed area. Smoke flew off the crashed vehicle, as if to say 'Yes, Anakin Skywalker was on board. Of course a crash happened'. The drowning smell filled up Catelle's lungs as she attempted to cough away the poisoning smoke that was quickly filling up the area. There was no time to think, not with Obi-Wan dragging her by the wrist through the crowd of watchful citizens. Vereya believed that they were following Anakin's force signature, but with their bond...well...collapsed it was quite difficult to tell. The two sprinted through the bustling streets, moving people out of the way with quiet apologies- not like they had time for anything more.

"Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted out as they reached the entrance to what seemed like a club.

"She went into the club, Master." The boy stood there slightly agitated, his body language was twitchy and anyone could tell that his thoughts were scattered.

"Patience. Use the force. Think." His master replied with a more gentle town, whether it was to calm Anakin down or treat him like 'his young apprentice' once more was yet to be discovered.

"Sorry Master."

"He went in there to hide, not to run." Catelle perked up, realising what Obi-Wan was catching on to. Why would someone run into an open club, full of people, if not to hide? Obi-Wan looked at the young woman and gave her a reassuring nod before turning back to his own padawan, who looked more agitated than ever. His face was screwed up as if he was biting his tongue, he hated the fact that his...friend and his master understood each other. They were in sync. Whether that was because they knew each other for longer or because they were more connected, Anakin did not know. But what he did know is that it pained him to see Starry, his Starry, so distant from him.

"Ben, his saber..." Vereya nudged her friend in the side as she spotted the glisten of silver coming from Kenobi's robe pocket.

"Next time try not to lose it."

"Yes, Master."

"This weapon is your life." Ah, there it was. The lesson being taught once more. It seems as though Skywalker had been told this lesson many times, but it never really stuck with him

"I try, Master."

"Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?" Elle heard Obi-Wan mutter to his padawan as the three walked into the busy club. The lingering aroma of death sticks and alcohol combined with the heat would of made any person feel even the smallest bit queasy. Many varieties of entertainment played on the view screens as the clanging of glasses and the chattering of the club-goers overwhelmed the acoustics. One would of hardly been able to hear the music that was playing, not that anyone would of cared when they were so preoccupied with the warm company of another person.

"Can you see him?" Cat asked, turning to both the men that were stood next to her.

"I think he is a she and I think she is a changeling." Anakin disclosed with a small quiver in his voice. It was cute. Even though they were grown up and no longer the little children that they were when they met, Skywalker still felt his heart skip a beat whenever he saw her or spoke to her.

"In that case, be extra careful." Obi-Wan advised the two, nodding slightly as he did so, "You two. Go and find her."

"Where are you going, Master?"

Obi-Wan looked at the two as a small smile began to form on his lips.

"For a drink."
