Before the night was well and truly over, Lilith threw the bouquet. She grinned cheekily as she threw it towards Bella and turned to wink at the girl when the brunette caught it. Everyone was beginning to say their goodbyes to the bride and groom as they were going to head off to their honeymoon right after.
The pack had all said their goodbyes and Lilith looked over as she saw Paul standing a bit behind them by himself. Lilith walked over towards him, "You okay?" She asked him.
The wolf quickly turned his head and wiped the tear and sniffled his nose, "Yeah, I'm fine." He answered her.
"What's wrong?" Lilith persisted. She had definitely seen him wipe the tears away and he should know better than to try and hide something from her.
"I guess I'm gonna miss seeing you like this." Paul admitted and Lilith's eyebrows furrowed at him, "When you come back, you're not gonna be the same." Paul figured that once Lilith returned from her so called honeymoon that she would be a vampire, and that they wouldn't get to see each other as much since they would have to be mortal enemies. He was definitely going to miss being able to see her so freely and be able to have a friendship like that with her. He would still try to make it work when she did become a vampire considering he loved her like a sister, it was just going to be hard to see her so differently.
"I'll still be me when I get back, Paul." Lilith told him, "I'll still be me for a while after I get back, actually." It was Paul's turn to look confused and Lilith shrugged, "We pushed back the date for them to change me until a little while after we got back—I didn't exactly want to spend my honeymoon writhing in pain."
She could remember the pain from the first time she was bitten, and how long it felt it was taking when it was only a few minutes, and she felt like it would've been a bit of a bummer to have happen while they were supposed to be spending that time celebrating being a married couple.
"Oh." Paul mumbled. He then made a disgusted face, "So you're gonna be more focused on that stuff?" He asked her, making a hole with one hand using his thumb and pointer finger and then using his other pointer finger to poke inside the hole.
Lilith slapped his hands down, "Don't be gross." She scolded him, "And possibly—not that it's any of your business."
Paul held his hands up, "Never mind, stop. I don't wanna know anymore!" He really didn't want to think anymore about the girl he viewed as a little sister doing those sorts of things. However, he was slightly concerned that it would kill her because of Edward's kind. But he had to stay out of it because she made her own decisions and she would be able to stop it if it got too bad or she didn't want to go ahead with it anymore.
"You asked." She reminded him. Her narrowed eyes then dropped as she smiled, "I will miss you while I'm gone, though. Try not to cause too much trouble for everyone."
Paul pulled her close, "I'll miss you more, and I can say the same for you. Please don't make me regret letting you go on this honeymoon thing." He said, causing Lilith to roll her eyes while her face was practically squashed into his chest.
Paul and Lilith let go of each other and the girl turned around to say goodbye to all of her other guests as she and Edward made their way over towards the car. She got towards her mother who had a bright smile on her face, Lilith noticing the tear streaks that had wiped the makeup off of her face from crying throughout the day.
Lilith looked at her mother before she let it out, "Can you please tell me where he's taking me?" She begged and Sierra bit back a smile as she picked out the small pieces of confetti from her hair.
"Nope." Sierra answered her. Only the Cullen family and the Bailey parents knew of the location that Edward would be taking her for their honeymoon and Lilith had been trying to guess ever since she found out it was going to be a surprise, "But, I will tell you that you'll need a hat and you'll need to wear sunscreen—you're not a vampire yet, and you'll still burn."
"I will, mom." Lilith stated as she pulled her mother into a hug, "Thank you." She whispered. Lilith looked up from the hug to see Oliver standing by the car looking slightly awkward and sad, a combination that was weird for someone who was always so composed, "I better say goodbye to him before I go."
"Please do." Sierra nodded, knowing that she was talking about her husband, "He's been crying all day."
Lilith gave a look of ridicule at her mother as she didn't believe a word she was saying before walking over towards her dad. The two staring at each other while Lilith observed him to see if what her mother was saying was true. Lilith then let out a snort when she realised she wasn't telling the truth which made Oliver break and smile, "I knew it. There was no way what she was saying was true."
Oliver let out a groan, "What crazy talk is she spilling out now?" He could only imagine what she had been saying about him to embarrass him.
"She said that you've been crying all day." Lilith told him and Oliver let out a scoff, "Yeah, I thought it was crazy talk too, papa, don't worry."
"See, I knew you'd have my back, hobbit." Oliver grinned as he pulled his daughter to his side. Oliver let out a sigh as he watched Edward and Jasper pack the bags into the car, "Its gonna be weird not having you with us anymore."
"It'll be weird for me too." Lilith admitted, "But, we knew this day was gonna come eventually, right?"
Oliver knew she was right and that Lilith wouldn't have stayed by their side for the rest of their lives, but, they just didn't exactly expect it to come so soon. He only wished he could've taught her more things and shown her more of the world before she left their home, "I'll miss you, hobbit. You're always gonna have a home with us, you know that right?" Oliver asked her as he tried to hold back the tears this time and Lilith pulled him into a proper hug.
"I'll miss you too, papa." Lilith said back, "I love you a lot. I'm sorry for always being hard on you these last few years about everything."
"Don't be." Oliver shook his head, "You were right to be mad at us, we should've never kept it from you. We just wanted to keep you safe." That's what she loved about her parents; when they fought, they would forgive. They would always try to see Lilith's side in the argument and they would always acknowledge when they were in the wrong, she could see that it was hard for them to admit it, but, she appreciated it when they did—and it was the same for when Lilith was the one who was wrong.
"And you did." Lilith whispered. She was still alive, she was happy and she was safe. She had a family, she had friends and she was now married. Everything they did for her worked out in the end, even if it wasn't the way they expected.
Oliver pulled away, "Okay, you better get going." He said as he sniffled, "You don't wanna miss your plane. Whenever it's going." He added with a smirk and Lilith instantly recognised it.
"You know where it's going, don't you?" She jumped, "Tell me, please!"
He shook his head, "Nope, it's a surprise. Don't ruin the fun."
Lilith could only pout as she walked over towards the car, "Please take care of Dakota for me while I'm gone!" She shouted out to him. There was only so much the clingy cat could take while being away from Lilith; and she could only imagine that a few weeks would drive her mental.
"Always." Oliver waved as he watched his daughter get into the sleek black car with her new husband, "I'm proud of you, hobbit." He told her.
Lilith gave him a look of gratitude before grabbing the seatbelt and clicking it in while their guests began to cheer.
"You ready?" Edward asked her.
Lilith nodded, "Always." She answered her husband.
Edward started the car and began to slowly drive off passed their guests who were all waving goodbye to the newlywed couple, Lilith waving back at them seeing how happy her friends and family were for her.

As soon as the heat smacked her in the face after stepping onto the tarmac from the private jet, smelling the ocean scented air and seeing the distinct landmark in the distance—that was lit up due to it being night time—Lilith knew exactly where they were.
She turned to look at her husband who was thanking the pilot, "We're in Rio?" She asked him, not expecting that place to be the chosen spot for their honeymoon, "Isn't it risky being here because of the sun?" She could only imagine the nightmare it would be to try and cover him up from the sunlight and organise trips to be at night.
Edward smiled with gratitude as her first thought was making sure his secret wasn't exposed and his safety was priority to her. He grabbed onto her hand, "Currently, yes." He answered her, "But, we're just passing through. I just want you to see some of the sights first."
Edward would be having Lilith all to himself on the island so he figured it would be best to go out and experience a little of the culture first before they retreated.
A car pulled up and Edward held open the door for his wife, letting her in before closing the door behind him. He got into the back from the other side and immediately placed his arm around her shoulders, letting the driver know where to go next in perfect Portuguese.
"What about our bags?" Lilith asked him as she noticed that their bags were still on the tarmac. She didn't quite understand why they weren't dropping them off at a hotel first.
Edward simply kissed her on her head and told her not to worry about it as he had it all taken care of and he just wanted her to relax.
The couple sat in the backseat quietly with Lilith's right hand rested on Edward's thigh and her other hand entwined with the one over her shoulder as she looked out the window in wonder, staring at the people and the area.
Everyone seemed so happy and carefree as they sang and danced to the local live music that was playing. Lilith couldn't help but smile at the way they looked so happy, wishing she could be apart of it just for a moment.
Edward smiled at hearing her thoughts and spoke to the driver, Lilith turning to him in confusion as the car began to stop and pull over. The vampire got out of the car and walked over to Lilith's side, opening it up and helping her out before grabbing onto her hand and leading her over towards the crowded area; the music, singing and cheering getting louder with every step that they took towards it.
Lilith couldn't help but laugh at Edward's sly face as he grabbed onto his wife tighter and bringing her into the crowd—the two giggling at all the other couples who were completely loved up like there was no one else in the world. Edward then swung Lilith to face him and the two began to dance like everyone else, the girl bringing her arms up around his shoulders while they danced and enjoyed the moment.
The two spent almost hours there, dancing the night away. Lilith giggled as Edward grabbed some of the older women got them to join them with dancing, most likely making her entire night before eventually Lilith's feet got too sore from being in heels and Edward deciding it was best to leave; where they were headed to next wasn't too far from where they currently were, and Lilith felt from when they called it a night would make it easier to help her get to the next spot, Edward even offering to carry her if it got too much.
"You know, I really shouldn't be surprised that you can speak Portuguese. But, I am." Lilith commented as Edward helped her get into the small speedboat next to the docks after he had thanked the crew members who were on the plane look after their bags while they were away.
"I only learnt it recently. I wanted to make sure that I could speak the language of the destination we were going." Edward explained, causing Lilith to raise an eyebrow.
"And how long have you been planning on coming here exactly?" Lilith questioned again, wondering how long it must've taken him to officially become confident in speaking the language. He would've had a lot more time anyway since he didn't sleep, but, it still would've taken him a little while to learn.
Edward looked over at her with a smirk, "That's a secret." He told her and started the engine as Lilith made a face as to why it would be such a secret. Her mind trying to find any indication of any hints he had dropped in the past saying that he wanted to come here but she was too daft to realise.
Edward began to steer the boat off of the docks, heading a comfortable speed towards the distance. Lilith letting out a content smile as the fresh air flew throughout her hair; even in the night time it felt so fresh and beautiful. It was a nice change from the constant frosty temperatures of Forks. She thought she would hate the heat as much as she used to, but, after being in the cold for so long it was nice to be able to just be warm and wear whatever she wanted, because she wouldn't have to worry about layering up so she wouldn't get sick.
After a few minutes into the trip, they could see an island into the distance. It was quite large in size yet still moderate compared to the size of the country beside it, "That's Isle Esme." Edward pointed out and Lilith's draw dropped.
"Esme?" Lilith questioned, making sure she heard that correctly over the sounds of the boat engine and the water crashing underneath the boat.
"Yeah, it was a gift from Carlisle to Esme for one of their anniversaries." He explained, chuckling at her shocked look, "And now it's a gift from him to us."
"Edward, I love you, but, I don't think I'll ever be able to give you something as extravagant as this." Lilith said in shock as she placed a hand on his shoulder, "Please don't get offended by it."
Edward laughed again, "Don't worry, I won't. You being my wife is the best give of all." He assured her.
Lilith smiled, leaning over to kiss him on his cheek, "Perfect." She responded.
Within another few more minutes, they got closer towards the island's dock. Lilith spotted the house—that was more like a mansion—and gaped once more. She really wondered how Esme and Carlisle continued to top a gift like this each anniversary afterwards. Her mind was already trying to think of ideas for gifts to Edward for anniversaries after this that would hopefully somehow compare to it. She wanted to make him feel special; but, she had no money and she felt uncomfortable using his.
The girl shook her head, she didn't need to start thinking about that already. She was on her honeymoon after all. There were other things she felt were more important to be focusing on than anniversary gifts for the future.
The couple got off of the boat, Lilith taking off her heels to help her get across the sandy beach towards the house while Edward grabbed their bags. Lilith couldn't help but look at the house in admiration as she walked closer towards it. It seemed like it was something straight out of a magazine and she couldn't believe that they had a whole island to themselves.
Edward dropped the bags and ran up behind his wife, lifting her ups bridal style causing her to squeal in delight before giggling at him as he carried her through the front door, using his back to push open the large glass door behind him.
"How traditional of you." She murmured at him, looking at his lips and she leaned in to kiss him. The kiss lingering as he placed her down on her feet before they finally pulled away. Lilith looked around the living area with her eyes wide, "This is insane. It's so beautiful."
"Do you want to take a look around?" Edward asked his wife, the blonde turning to look at him excitedly before taking off and exploring the large house.
Every room after the last seemed to surprise her more and more. Every room had every piece of furniture or artwork placed perfectly that it was harmonious. Everything looked the way it was supposed to, yet it wasn't too much to the point where it looked cluttered.
It definitely had the open beach house aesthetic that Lilith loved to death and it made her feel so relaxed and calm; along with the help from the sounds of the ocean just outside. The openness of the house would help let the breeze fly through the home which would cool her skin down from the humidity, she could only imagine how much better it'll feel when she's tanning on the beach during the daylight.
Lilith continued on throughout the house until she reached the final room that she was purposely making last.
She walked inside and dropped her shoes at the edge of the large king sided bed, biting her lip at how comfortable it looked and blushing at the thoughts of what might happen on it later on. She lifted her hand and touched the beige linen curtains from the canopy bed and looked up as Edward stood on the other side of the bed, the vampire placing the bags down as Lilith blushed harder, him having caught her thinking of all sorts of outrageous things.
Edward walked over towards her and gently grabbed her by her hips, pulling her closer towards him, "You tired?" He asked her softly as she wrapped her arms around her shoulder, humming as she shook her head, "Do you wanna go for a swim?" He suggested and Lilith turned her head towards the large open door that lead out towards the sandy shore and ocean not too far from it.
She looked over at the waves and saw how calm it was, it looked quite relaxing and she was sure that the cool water would lower her body temperature—which she wasn't quite sure if it was from the heat or if it was from the tension between her and Edward, "A swim sounds perfect." She responded as she turned her head back towards Edward, leaning in for a kiss, "Let me get ready and I'll meet you out there."
Edward smiled and kissed the top of her head at her request, "Don't take too long, Mrs. Cullen." He ordered in a small tone which made Lilith blush. She couldn't believe she was actually Mrs. Cullen.
"Don't have too much fun without me." She said as she pushed up onto her tippy toes and pressed a kiss onto his lips, "I love you so much."
"I do believe it is me that loves you more." Edward responded, kissing her once again.
"Not possible." Lilith immediately said back shaking her head before finally pulling away and grabbing one of the bags that held her clothes.
She turned to look at him and winked, Edward chuckling as he unbuttoned his shirt and walked towards the beach, leaving his wife alone to get ready.
