Lilith walked down the makeshift aisle as red rose petals trickled down from above. She wore a large and excited grin on her face as she took more and more steps closer towards Edward who was standing underneath a rose covered arch. Lilith couldn't help but smile as she looked at her friends and family who stood on either side of the aisle, looking at her in complete awe and happiness, she felt blessed that they were there to celebrate the day with her. The girl felt complete once she was by Edward's side, the vampire grabbing onto her hand and helping her up the small step to stand next to him, once she looked at the celebrant, her smile dropped when she noticed the Volturi standing there in front of her.

She instantly gripped onto Edward's arm, trying to get his attention as it seemed like he didn't even care, she snapped her head up towards him to see why he didn't react when she noticed that Edward wasn't standing there.

Instead, it was the high priest.

Lilith dropped her bouquet of flowers and turned to run, it seemed like everything was moving in slow motion as she tried to get away from him, her eyes darting around the crowd when she began to notice that everyone was dead.

All of her friends and family were covered in blood and were slumped over in the seats.

"You can't run forever." The high priest called out to her, "I'm coming for you."

"Stay away from me!" Lilith snapped at him as she glared daggers at him, continuing to try and run. The girl turned back the other direction and let out a gasp when the high priest had moved to get in her way, "Let me alone!"

He grabbed onto her arm and the witch struggled to get out of her grip, her breathing quickening as his touch seemed to literally turn her white dress black, as if it was symbolising what he could do to her, "You can't run from me." He told her in a dark voice, "I'll find you wherever you go."

Lilith continued to struggle, trying desperately to get out of the high priest's hands before the entirety of her dress turned black, along with the rest of her soul. Her eyes watched as the flowers from the arch slowly started to die out and she couldn't help but feel as if time was running out, "EDWARD!" She roared out.

"What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice scolded as she dabbed some foundation underneath Lilith's under eyes.

"To get some?" She answered, chuckling, "Sorry, I had a bad dream. I blame the wedding jitters. I have no idea about anything that you've planned. I don't know what my dress looks like, what my venue looks like—"

"You know about some things." Alice said pointedly, "And you've picked the details that you liked, I just put them all together. Trust me, it'll look magical, just like you asked for." Lilith rolled her eyes, knowing she well and truly asked Alice to take care of the wedding planning considering she would know everything Lilith would like and since Alice didn't sleep—she would be able to take care of it without the stress of planning a wedding in under two months.

Lilith and Edward did however want to have some input on the planning, so it made it still feel like they did something for their own wedding instead of Alice doing it all herself. Lilith gave Alice the small details that she would like to have incorporated into her special day; like how she would like the dress to look, the colour scheme, the theme, and who she would like to have there; and then Alice took care of the rest.

Alice even asked the engaged couple for their input as well on certain things because she knew that it would make the moments more special.

"Your first dance song needs to be special and have meaning." Alice persisted, "There has to be something!"

Lilith looked over at Edward and bit her lip, getting the perfect idea, "How about the song we actually first danced to?" Her mind thinking back to the memory of him and her in Edward's room slow dancing to 'Flightless Bird, American Mouth', the same night that they shared their first kiss, and the night that Edward realised he had fallen in love with her.

The thought ran through Edward's and he smiled, "It's perfect." He responded, kissing her forehead and writing the song down for Alice.

The seer squealed looking at it, knowing exactly what had happened that day when she saw the prediction, "It's perfect!" She agreed, clapping.

"Well, don't worry too much about today." Rosalie said, giving her a reassuring smile through the mirror in front of them as she continued to finish Lilith's hair, "Just focus on being excited about the fact that you're about to get married to the love of your life. And then everything else will be perfect."

Lilith knew that Rosalie and Alice would of made sure that everything would run smoothly and they would take care of any issues that were to arise on the day. They knew that brides would get stressed about the smallest things, and they couldn't risk Lilith's already anxious personality going into a full meltdown over something small, and ruin the whole day for her.

"Lilith? Hobbit, where are you?" They heard Oliver and Sierra call out from out in the hallway on the other side of the door.

"In here, papa!" Lilith called back. Less than a few seconds later, Oliver and Sierra both walked into the dressing room.

"Oh, hobbit, you look so beautiful!" Sierra cried, tears almost instantly pooling from her eyes as she looked at her daughter. She tapped underneath her eyes, "Crap, my mascara!" Alice chuckled and instantly held up a handkerchief, knowing this moment would happen exactly and decided to come prepared. Sierra thanked her and used it to quickly dab the blackened tears that ran down her face.

"You look great, monkey." Oliver said with a sad smile. He definitely didn't expect this day to come so soon and he wasn't sure he was ready to see his daughter all grown up. But, after Edward had asked for permission for her hand in marriage, it all started to kick in for him that Lilith had found her soulmate. And soulmate bonds never worked slowly from what he had seen and heard of, it was just a small disappointment that he couldn't have it be slowed down for his daughter so she could live a normal teenage life.

"We got you something." Sierra sniffled as she reached into her clutch and pulled out a blue velvet box from inside of it, "We thought you might need something blue."

"And something old—besides, you know, the entire family you're marrying into." Oliver added on, making the girls chuckle while Sierra gave him a light smack on the arm for being rude.

Sierra banded it to Lilith, who opened it up and gasped lightly at the beauty of the sapphire necklace inside of it, "Your grandma wore it on her wedding day, and I wore it on mine, so we want to give it to you to wear it on yours."

"It's beautiful, mom." Lilith smiled sadly at her mother, knowing the small little tradition that was started by her grandmother would end with her since Edward and her would never be able to give the heirloom to their children, but Lilith still appreciated that they wanted to include her into the tradition, "Thank you. I love it."

Lilith was sat down in front of the mirror, taking a small break from everything. She still had a little bit to go until Alice would come in and they would put the dress on, but, Lilith just needed a small breather from all of the craziness. She would have a full on day, and any moment of calmness that she could get, she would grab so she could hey through the day. Alice understood and agreed that it would be best for her to do so, which was why she let Lilith stay in the dressing room for a little bit by herself.

A knock on the door made Lilith turn her head towards it and call out a soft 'come in' to the person. The door opened slightly and Angela's head peaked through, the girl's eyes softening at the sight of her friend before she walked in and closed the door, "Wow, you look amazing." She said breathlessly, "I'm literally speechless."

"I guess that's definitely something you want to hear on your wedding day." Lilith responded cheekily with a blush. She would have to try and get used to the amount of attention and complements she would be receiving today.

Angela smiled and sat down next to her. It seemed as if she was almost nervous to say what she was thinking, "I'm going to say this—and I don't want you to get offended or upset—but, because I care about you, I need to ask."

"Okay, you're scaring me a little, but... go for it." Lilith said nervously as she goes to take a sip of her water that Alice had left for her, the vampire had given her stern words to continuously stay hydrated throughout the day so she wouldn't faint.

Angela let out a sigh, "It's just... Jess and I were talking about it and we were surprised that after everything, how soon you two decided to get married—especially since you gave out invitations with such a short amount of time until the big day; she and I are just a little worried that you might be... pregnant."

Lilith's eyes widened, "Oh, wow." She mumbled. She could see why they would think that considering they were getting married so young—and so fast after a breakup—that the only reasonable explanation would be an unplanned pregnancy. They had no idea about the eternity that they planned to spend together after, or any other supernatural involvement in their relationship that also factored into the reasoning by their quickened timeline for their relationship, or the fact that Edward couldn't get Lilith pregnant at all.

"You're not... are you?" Angela asked cautiously. "Because if you are, and you don't want to do this, we can end this now, and we can go home and figure something out." She said seriously.

Lilith chuckled, "No, I'm not." She said. She would never would be with Edward, which was something that she had come to terms with a long time ago, but there was still a small sadness that came to her when she always planned on having a family of her own—and she would get that, just in a different way than what she expected, "Just in love."

Angela held up a pinky, "You promise?" She asked, "Because the offer still stands."

Lilith linked her pinky, "I promise."

Angela then let out a breath of relief, "Jess is going to be so glad—not that she doesn't want to be an aunt—but, we were so worried for a moment."

"I don't think Edward would be still standing if I were." Lilith joked lightly. Oliver and the pack would've probably mauled him if it were possible, "But, truly, I'm okay, and thanks for checking in on me."

"Of course we would. You're one of our best friends." Angela smiles as she stood up and held her arms out for Lilith to lean in for a hug, which she gladly accepted, "You're going to do so amazing out there, and I'm so proud and happy for you. You deserve to be happy."

"Thank you, Angela." Lilith said into the hug, "For everything."

Angela then excused herself and let Lilith know that she would be going back downstairs with the rest of the guests before the ceremony began, letting her know that she would have to go make sure all of their friends were in line and behaving, along with let Jessica know of their conversation. Lilith was left alone again and she let out a deep exhale as she slumped down in her chair. She thought about what Angela had spoken to her about and it really made her think; she knew that people would most likely judge due to how young Edward and herself decided to get married, but, she wondered how many people were thinking that. How many of her friends were thinking that? Did they think she was making a mistake? Did her parents think she was making a mistake?

She loved Edward with every fibre of her being and she knew that he loved her the same, and up until this point, that was all that mattered to her. She didn't care what other people thought about it, she just wanted to be with the person who made her feel whole. But, now that she was almost hours away from being someone's wife, she was nervous. She was nervous about the future ahead of them and she was nervous if the fact that she was his wife and a vampire, if that would truly stop the high priest—since the dream didn't just feel like a nightmare, it felt like a message from him.

Lilith felt her breathing quicken as she thought about her dream and felt as if it truly was the high priest communicating with her, which made her panic. Was he planning on showing up today? Would be hurt anyone just to spite her parents and herself for running from him? Lilith heard another knock at the door, causing her head to snap towards it, focusing on that rather than the small panic attack that was building up, "You okay in there, munchkin?" She heard Emmett's faint yet booming voice on the other side of the door, "Edward heard your inner monologue and sent me to check in on you."

"I—I don't know, I think so!" Lilith responded breathlessly as she shook her hands out, trying to cool them down from how hot they were feeling.

Emmett could hear her heart rate from the other side of the door and knew it wouldn't be best to leave her alone at that moment before it turned any worse, "I'm coming in." Emmett announced after thinking about the best option for how to handle the situation, "Please cover yourself if you aren't." He added. He didn't exactly want to see his future sister-in-law in any way other than appropriate.

Lilith rolled her eyes as she was still in her fluffy robe that she had been in all day, there was nothing appealing or sultry about it, but let Emmett come in anyway. Emmett opened the door to reveal himself looking quite worried. Lilith raised her eyebrow and pointed at the suit he was wearing, particularly at his bow tie. Emmett smirked and held out his arms, "I know, I look hot." He told her, "But, this isn't what I came in here for. Are you okay?"

Lilith bit her lip as the thought about how to answer his question, "Do you think Edward and I are doing the right thing by getting married so soon?" She asked him, "Timing wise and everything, does it seem right?"

"Does this have something to do with what Angela asked you?" Emmet questioned her back, wondering where she the second guessing was coming from, "Because if she upset you, I can tell her and Jessica to leave if it'll make you feel better."

Lilith shook her head, "No, it's not that." She told him, not surprised that Edward must've told him after hearing her own thoughts about it, "I don't know, I guess I'm just being silly and irrational. I've never been in any other relationship besides Edward before and I'm just not sure if what I'm doing is right for me."

"Lil, I've never seen two people who are more right for each other than yourself and Edward." Emmett told her with a sympathetic expression, "Excluding myself and Rose, of course, but, you two are perfect and so is your timeline. Deep down, you know you want to be with him and only him, and this whole marriage thing is just a human moment that he wants to experience with you. You're just nervous because this is a big moment for most people—human or not."

"If you're lying to me right now, I wouldn't be able to handle it if I find out the truth." Lilith joked, but felt a little more relieved to know that she was just getting into her own head about everything, and it wasn't true what she was thinking.

Emmett shook his head, "I'm not lying." He denied, "You light up his world that much that I don't have to repeat silly little songs in my head all day to try and cheer him up." Lilith couldn't help but snort as she thought about all of the different songs that Emmett would sing on repeat just to annoy Edward, "You make him smile all on your own just by exisiting. You honestly make his dead heart beat again. That's real love right there, and you won't be able to find it with anyone else but him."

"Okay." Lilith exhaled.

Emmett listened in to her heart rate, hearing it slow down faster and faster until it was down at a normal rate and smiled at her, "Feeling better?"

Lilith nodded, "Much better." She answered him, "Thanks for calming the wedding jitters, Emmett."

"Anything for family." Emmett clapped his hands together, "Now, let's get Alice and Rose to help you get into your dress, and then let's get you married."
