It took a couple of days until all of the vampires had completely left the Cullen home in Forks to return to their own homes. Most of which staying longer for personal reasons such as wanting to spend more time with someone they hadn't seen in several decades or not wanting to leave the person they came to Forks for in the first place just yet.

Senna and Zafrina stayed an extra few days just to spend time with Diana before they left without the weight of an impending battle ahead of them. It was nice to see them so relaxed with her.

Lilith and Edward were also much more relaxed when Ryker had brought someone from one of the Ticuna tribes in Brazil who was a hybrid much like Diana—even though his human side was just human—and he explained that he had been around for over a hundred years. The relief that flooded through Lilith when she realised that Diana wasn't going to have a short life because of her growth rate, but, she was going to be around for a very long time.

Ryker also explained that the reason her growth had slowed down was because her mate wasn't born yet, and it was going to continue to stay at the rate of a human growth because her mate wasn't a vampire but a shapeshifter instead. Lilith didn't mind that at all since it meant she got to experience Diana's growing years much more selfishly and let her experience it all.

Soon, it was the Irish coven that was soon to leave; Lilith quite liked them even though they didn't speak much but she liked how they had brought joy into the Cullen home when everyone was feeling down.

She had also made sure to let almost everyone know before they left that if anyone spotted Alistair to let him know of what happened and that they were okay; and that he didn't need to hide from them. She wanted to visit him and see how he was going. But her heart hurt thinking that he was stuck hiding under a rock—literally—to avoid a confrontation with the Volturi because of them.

Diana ran up to Lilith after saying goodbye to Senna and Zafrina, the blonde hugging her daughter tightly and grabbing onto her hand that was reaching up towards her.

Lilith placed her daughter's hand on her cheek and listened to what she had to say, smiling at it and responded to her, "Yeah, we're all gonna be together now." She opened her mouth to say something more when she heard several cars pull up towards the driveway of the Cullen home, smelling the scents of the pack and she grinned and immediately ran towards them.

As soon as she saw them all, she didn't know who to hug first. Emily, Bella, Leah, Jake, Sam, Paul, Jared, Embry, Seth and Quill were all there. Her heart hurt when she saw Seth, her mind flashing back to the vision of the battle and seeing him laying there lifeless took her a moment to process.

"Lilith?" She heard Emily call out to her, snapping her out of her daze.

Lilith smiled as she found a solution and held her arms out, "Group hug?" She suggested with a sly yet cautious smile, wondering what they would say to such a thing. Sam chuckled and broke first, immediately running in to hug her, followed by Bella, Emily and Paul before everyone else joined in. She knew that if she could, she would be in a puddle of happy tears in that moment. "Let's not fight anymore. I don't want to lose you guys." She said to them.

"You won't lose us." Paul said as they all stayed in the hug. "You're stuck with us for a long time."

Lilith smiled, feeling the weight fall off her shoulders as she whispered, "Wouldn't have it any other way."

"So, that's finally it, huh?" Lilith heard Ryker say to her from behind as he walked into the Cullen home where she had stood watching her family play outside together before they would all finally part ways.

She looked back to him, "Yeah. This is it." She agreed. It was a bittersweet feeling for the both of them. Lilith could finally live a peaceful life with her family and friends but at the price it came at still hurt to think about.

Her parents were now out of her life, she had lost a lot of friends on the way there, she had lost her magic to become a vampire and almost lost her family and friends also in the battle with the Volturi. And while she did get a lot of good things out of her journey like her eternal life with her family and friends, she needed to reflect on the bad things to remind her that it didn't all just get handed to her. She had to fight for it.

Ryker looked at her for a moment, noticing how serene she felt as she stared out at Diana who was playing in the grass below before saying, "Never thought I'd say this, but, being a vampire suits you."

"Because I'm free." Lilith responded, "No offence to you or anything. But, I don't think you'd want to put up with me for eternity and have me work with you. I don't think it would be fun." Even when her destiny was debunked and it wasn't as bad, Lilith still had fears of possibly turning dark with her magic and she didn't want to live a life where she was constantly making sure to never get too close to doing so—and while she had learnt that not everything is so black and white with magic, she couldn't overcome that fear.

Becoming a vampire means she would never have to do that and it means she'll never lose her family. She won't ever grow old and die from old age and leave Edward or Diana; and they now knew that they wouldn't outgrow Diana when it comes to age and that she'll be around for a very long time.

Ryker smirked at her, "Edward has it worse. He's married to you forever." He teased and she rolled her eyes.

"You're the one that has to deal with the Lorelei and Leah snog-fest." She nodded her head towards Leah and Lorelei who were affectionately showing each other attention a couple of feet away. "Not going to be fun." Ever since the confrontation with the Volturi, the two had gotten close and began to get to know each other. Lilith felt the two fit well and was most definitely glad they had each other.

It was Ryker's turn to roll his eyes and scowl, "Yes, I'm sure I'll have to drag them away from each other at some points." He observed. "They'll never get anything done otherwise."

Lorelei had agreed to help with Ryker and his duties on the sole basis that Leah was able to come with her. While Jake wasn't so keen on having his beta leave him, everyone was really happy for Leah once she agreed to Ryker's terms that she help as well as much as she could. It didn't take long for Leah's attitude to change quite quickly since her imprinting on Lorelei, and it was quite shocking to see her smile and radiate so much happy compared to her usual grumpiness. But Lorelei must of brought that side out of her.

"I guess I owe you now." Lilith recalled, "We made a deal that if you helped here, I would help you in return."

Ryker shook his head, "You don't, Lilith." He told her. "You're strangely enough like family to me now, and what kind of family member would I be if I made you do that?" He never really expected her to do anything for him in return and just wanted her to live a long and happy life because she deserved it after everything she had been through.

Lilith could only smile, "You're strangely enough like family to me also." She said back. Ryker grinned and held out his arms to which she walked into his embrace and hugged him, breathing in his scent and wanting to cherish that moment for forever. "And you'll have to tell me how you managed to come to an agreement with my father."

Ryker could only let out a chuckle, "Hmm, maybe one day." He responded vaguely, causing Lilith to raise an eyebrow before shaking her head and enjoying the rest of the hug with him.

Later that evening, everyone had left the Cullen home, leaving the only vampires and wolves that lived in that area alone. It felt quite empty without them in the house and it was extremely quiet for Lilith.

"I missed this." She hummed against Edward's lips as she and Edward were having a date night. The married couple felt as if they needed some alone time after everything they had been through and Rosalie was more than happy to babysit her niece for the meantime.

Edward pulled away, leaning back on his elbows against the blossomed flowers of their secret spot, "What did you miss?"

"Just being us." She answered him, moving so she could sit beside him and lean her body against his. "We don't have to worry about anyone coming after us and I feel like we can finally relax, and just enjoy our time together as a family."

Edward pulled her close and wrapped an arm around her before pulling them both to lay down on the ground, "Believe me, we've got plenty of time to do that now."

Lilith simply smiled at him as she placed a hand on either side of his face, "I'm so incredibly glad I met you." She whispered as she took in his appearance, trying to drink in every detail so she could remember that moment forever. "You've given me everything and more and I don't think life could've gotten any better than this."

"No one has ever loved anyone as much as I love you, Lilith." Edward told her, "And I mean that with every fibre of my being."

"God, I love you." The blonde vampire leaned in and kissed him deeply before pulling back in total bliss, "I feel like we should get back soon, we've been gone a while."

The two had left the night before to go on their date night and had been out all night just talking and reminiscing about their favourite moments so far along with Edward telling her any stories from his past.

It was well close towards the evening of the next night and Lilith was sure that Diana was most likely going to be missing the both of them soon enough and she was sure that Rosalie would like to go back home to Emmett also unless he had already stopped by because he missed her.

Edward pouted and kissed his wife, "Five more minutes?" He pleaded as he pressed kisses to her lips and all over her face and neck causing her to giggle.

"You said that hours ago." She reminded him, pulling away with as much strength as possible, "C'mon, I'll race you." She told him.

Her husband simply smirked and without hesitation he was gone from her line of sight, causing her to scowl at him and how he plays dirty before running off to follow after him back to their cottage.

Within seconds, Lilith reached her home to see Edward standing at the front door with a smirk on his face, "Too slow." He teased.

She smacked his arm before the door open to reveal Rosalie's wide grin, "You guys are home early." She commented.

Lilith's eyebrow raised, "We were gone for almost a whole day." She responded before Rose waved her off, "Was she being a trouble?" She asked her sister-in-law as she walked inside along with Edward.

"She was being an angel like usual." Rosalie answered with a scoff as if she was offended that Lilith would even ask such a thing. As Rosalie grabbed her belongings, Lilith spotted Emmett in the living room playing with Dakota using a piece of string and a feather on the end of it. "But, she's in her room waiting to be tucked in to bed by you two."

"Well, thanks for looking after her." Edward spoke as he pulled Lilith's body against his. "We really appreciate it."

"Anytime." Rose grinned before she and Emmett said goodbye to the other married couple and left to return to the other Cullen home, leaving Lilith and Edward by themselves.

Lilith pursed her lips and looked up to her husband, "Shall we go put the little monster to bed?" She asked and he chuckled before nodding his head and the two made their way to their daughter's room and opened the door.

Lilith loved Diana's room, her room had been newly upgraded a little more in the last couple of months to be able to fit a toddler and Alice had upgraded her bed and clothing with much excitement but still kept the same aesthetic as it once was when she was a baby.

Diana was curled up in her bed, holding on to her teddy bear with her eyes wide as she waited for her parents, "Hey, bug, how was your day?" Edward asked in a quite voice as he walked over towards her and pressed a kiss to her head.

"Good, papa." Diana responded with the same quiet and tired voice before she let out a big yawn causing Edward to smile at her.

"What story do you want to read tonight?" He asked her.

"A new one." Diana answered him and Lilith looked at the bookshelf for any new stories, frowning a little when she realised that they didn't have any new ones and had read all of them already,

"We don't have any new ones, baby. What about this one?" She suggested, picking up her usual favourite off of the shelf and showing it to her.

Diana shook her head, "Can you tell me a story, mommy?" Diana asked, her green eyes turning soft as she pleaded her mother, giving her the face that she knew Lilith wouldn't be able to resist.

Diana loved Lilith's stories, she was always creative with them and could always think of good ones to tell her daughter on the spot.

Lilith looked towards Edward who shrugged at her before taking a seat beside Diana with Edward on the other side of her, "Of course, monkey." Lilith cooed as she brushed the hair out of Diana's face.

It took a couple of seconds before Lilith thought of the perfect story to tell her daughter, smiling at Edward before looking back to Diana who was already staring at her excitedly, "Once upon a time, there was a girl with amazing powers who happened to meet a boy with an extraordinary secret..."
