March 28th, 2022.

As always Sofia Adams Ramirez, started her day off with a cup of coffee, but today she started it off with Red bull, a drink that she rarely drank, but she was currently drinking it because of Matthew Sturniolo. 

Neither of the two were obsessed with Red bull, but when Sofia had taken a sip of his drink while they were watching a movie, she realized how much she liked it. So, instead of being the coffee addict she was, she decided to stop herself and drink some Red bull which probably wasn't much better.

Sofia finished making her very late breakfast before taking a seat down at the dining table all by herself as she finished her Red bull and ate her breakfast. Even though everyone was inside the house, awake or asleep, she had never felt so alone. 

She glanced to all the seats, the one she used to sit in, the one her mom and dad used to sit in, the ones that her siblings used to sit in, when they were a family. Every night they sat at the table as a family and ate dinner together as they talked about their days. They had such good times in the house.

It was until Sofia wanted to move to New York with her friends and boyfriend that it was ruined. It was in the middle of her mother's cancer journey that she decided to move. She just couldn't deal with seeing her mom slowly dying as days passed. They all knew it was going to happen but when her mother told her that she was getting better, Sofia believed it, but little did she know that her mom was lying so Sofia could feel better about herself for leaving her behind in LA. 

Sofia ate her avocado toast in silence as a tear slowly rolled down her face. It wasn't until she heard someone clear their throat that she realized she was crying. She looked up to see Nate looking at her with a questioning expression, even though the two acted as if they hated each other, they both genuinely cared for each other. 

"Are you okay?" Nate sleepily asked, his tone was raspy, Sofia could tell he had just woken up. "Oh, uh... yeah, I'm fine," she lied, "Why are you crying he asked as he grabbed a bowl from the cabinet, "I didn't even know I was crying," she said with a sigh, whipping her tears away, Nate continued to make himself some cereal as Sofia ate in silence.

Nate then sat down next to Sofia as, yet another tear rolled down her face, "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked, "Yeah... I-I just miss her," Sofia said turning to look at a picture of her and her mom hanging on the wall, "You would've loved her," she told him with a soft smile, Nate smiled back, Sofia then laid her head down on his shoulder.

The two sat in silence for a while until they heard footsteps rushing down the stairs. They turned around to see Khai chasing Brooke with a dirty sock, "Sofia help me!" Brooke ran over to hide under the table causing Sofia and Nate to laugh at the two. Something Sofia needed.

Sofia and Nate then looked at each other, nodding, before they both stood up and left Khai and Brooke to have their daily sibling fight. They quickly put their dishes in the sink before rushing up the stairs before the two could yell at them.

Sofia and Nate went to walk their separate rooms, but Nate stopped her, "Sofia!" he called, "Yes Nate?" she questioned turning to face him, "Love you, sis," he told her with a sweet smile, not giving her anytime to respond before he walked away, Sofia smiled to herself, "Love you too, bro," she muttered with a smile before making her way into her room.

A few hours later everyone was up and before you know it the five were ready to go mini golfing, they made their way out the door in a rush. "I call shotgun!" Brooke shouted making her way to the passenger's seat, Sofia then looked at Mason, "Okay... then I'm driving," Sofia told him with a smile.

Sofia always enjoyed driving but Mason was a bit of an ass when it came to Sofia driving, he'd make comments, tell her what and what not to do, but he couldn't help it, sometimes Sofia was reckless driver but when she wasn't he still liked to try and make comments to help her. "Just don't kill us, please," Mason begged with a teasing tone, "Oh shut up!" Sofia exclaimed playfully slapping his shoulder.

Sofia and Brooke then sat in the driver's and passenger's seat as everyone else took their seats in the back. Sofia took a sip of her Red bull before reversing out of the parking lot and into the street. "Can I have aux?" Brooke asked, "Usually I'd say, "House rules Sammy, driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole" but I'm in a good mood today so be my guest," Sofia told her causing Brooke to smile at the fact that not only did she get aux but also because Sofia just quoted one of her favorite shows.

Sofia isn't the type to quote movies or shows, but Brooke did, sometimes too much, but when they're around other people she didn't for many reasons, and since Sofia has lived with for practically her whole life, so she picked up on it and started doing it herself, but not as much as Brooke. Never as much as Brooke. 

Brooke then played a song, that Sofia did not pay any attention to whatsoever as she continued to drive to their destination. You may be wondering why Sofia was in such a good mood, and she could ask herself the same thing, she had no idea why she was in such a good mood, and neither did anyone else but Brooke had a hunch.

About 30 minutes later they arrived at their destination, and they were all ready to play, Sofia was ready to win. It was 4:30 and Sofia planned to make food around 6 or 7, so they could sit down and have a family dinner, like she used to with her family. Sofia parked in the parking lot, before making her way over to her four new favorite people who sat on a bench from afar waiting for them. 

The four of them were on their phones. Sofia then walked over to them and snatched their phones out of their hands, "What the fuck!?" Nick exclaimed, "What the hell?" Madi also exclaimed, along with Matt and Chris, "Today is a no phone day. Unless however, you're taking pictures," Sofia told them with a stern tone, but to Mason it was known as her inner mom voice.

"Bitch, what?" Nick asked, "I'm keeping my phone," he told her with a stern look, Sofia knew she couldn't fight with him on that, and she didn't want to, "Okay then..." Sofia trailed off, she wasn't scared of Nick, but she didn't want to fight to with him, even though she was positive she might win, she then handed him back his phone which he tucked away in his pocket. 

"Let's goooo!" Brooke, Khai, and Nate shouted in excitement causing Sofia to chuckle at them as they ran inside like little kids, Chris and Madi ran after them and soon so did Mason and Nick, leaving Sofia and Matt alone to talk.

"Hi Matt," Sofia greeted him with a smile, "Hi Sofie," he smiled back, looking deep into her brown eyes, Sofia smiled at the nickname, "I like it," she told him, "Like what?" he questioned with confusion, "The nickname dummy," she teased nudging his shoulder with hers, "Ohhh," he laughed at his confusion as did Sofia. 

"What are we having for dinner?" Matt asked digging his hands into his pockets, "I don't know yet," she shrugged, "What are you guys in the mood for?" she questioned as they got closer to their friends, "I'm always in the mood for spaghetti," he told her causing her to make of face of disgust, "I was thinking Spanish food, y'know something spicy," she suggested, "I can't take spicy food, it's too spicy for me," she raised her eyebrows with small nod.

"I can lower the spice levels," she suggested hoping he'd agree but Matt wasn't too sure, "Oh come on, it won't be as bad as you think," Matt sighed, "Fine, make whatever you want, doesn't matter to me," he shrugged, she nodded as they reached their friends, "I promise you'll love it. I'm an amazing cook!" she told him with hope that he believed her considering she wasn't the best, but she also wasn't the worse.

Chris handed the two their mini golf clubs and a few golf balls. They then walked over to the golf course and started playing. Sofia listened as Brooke told the group that she was very confident that she'd would be the first one done, even though everyone else knew how bad she was at hitting the ball.

Brooke and Chris paid very close attention to Sofia as she spoke to Matt who looked into her eyes like nothing else in the world mattered but her and only her. Brooke and Chris smiled at each other before high fiving each other with a smirk dancing on their lips.

"If I hit make this shoot, I-I'm fucking making out with Matt," Chris announced, a little too seriously to be a joke, Madi, Brooke, and Sofia looked at each other disgustingly confused, chuckling out of awkwardness. "Bro what?!" Matt asked in a nervous tone, trying to laugh it off, before turning to Sofia with a disgusted look. 

"Don't say shit like that!" Nick exclaimed, slapping Chris's shoulder as Khai and Nate laughed. Chris then hit the ball making it into the hole, he cheered for himself, going in for a kiss with Matt, who pushed him away and then got ready to hit his ball, "Take it home babe!" Chris cheered with a sly smirk causing Sofia to turn to the two in disgust but laughed at their words and actions anyway as Matt hit his ball.

Sofia and Brooke had gone to the bathroom leaving their stuff with the boys. They quickly did their business and started washing their hands once they were finished doing their business, "Sooo," Brooke sang, "You and Matt?" Brooke questioned with a smiled, "Oh god, here we go again, Brooke I was having a good day," Sofia rolled her eyes in annoyance, "And you still can," Brooke told her with a 'duh' tone and a shrug as she dried her hands.

"What's up with you guys?" Brooke asked, her tone was full of curiosity, "There's nothing up with us," Sofia sternly told her with an annoyed expression, as she finished scrubbing her hands. "Oh, come on! it's so obvious that he likes you!" Brooke exclaimed, "No he doesn't Brooke. I already told you; we are just friends!" Sofia exclaimed in annoyance, trying to get her point across.

"Look I'm sorry, okay? but you cannot tell me he doesn't like you," Brooke told her, grabbing her shoulders to shake some sense into her, "Do you not see the way he looks at you?" Brooke asked. Getting point across wasn't going to well, considering everything Sofia told her was going in one ear and out the other. "What are you talking about?" she questioned confused and annoyed, "The look!" Brooke tells her emphasizing her words, "What look? There is no look!" Sofia frantically denies, shooting her thoughts through the head as Sofia shook hers.

"Ugh!" Brooke groaned, walking out of the bathroom in annoyance and defeat, "She watches way too many romcoms," Sofia mutters to herself dragging the 'y' as she dried her hands with a paper towel, "I heard that!" Brooke shouted from outside the bathroom causing Sofia to laugh to herself before walking out the bathroom and over to her friends who were patiently waiting for the two, some more patient than others.

It was Sofia's last shoot and she prayed that she made it because if she didn't, she'd have to pay for everyone's ice cream, and she was going broke. Chris, Nate, and Khai tried to spook her, but it didn't work she made the shot meaning that she wouldn't have to pay for anything. 

After everyone else went it was Khai's turn, and as usual he kept missing meaning he'd have to pay for the ice cream. Which was a lot more expensive than he thought it'd be, but everything is expensive in LA. 

As they got ice cream Sofia had the chance to talk to Nick along with Madi, she had gotten to know more about them both which was nice because ever since they got to LA, Brooke had been hogging them, along with Chris. Who she had a major crush one, which was pretty obvious. 

Sofia and Matt got chocolate ice cream, Brooke and Madi got strawberry, Khai and Nate got cookies and cream, Chris also got strawberry, meanwhile Mason just got vanilla. They sat outside as they ate their ice cream and just talked while also taking pictures every once in  while.
