⚠short chapter, I'M SORRY😭⚠

Mason watched as Sofia and Nick passionately yelled at each other as the two talked about how they felt about people being homophobic, racist people, and how they thought love should be. He had never seen the girl speak so passionately about something.

He honestly found it attractive, but he wasn't going to say anything. yet.

Everyone else was in their own world, he was too, a world of Sofia. She had his undivided attention, and she wasn't even talking to him. He stared at the girl practically mesmerized by the sound of her voice.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD, I COMPLETELY AGREE, PEOPLE ARE FUCKING INSANE!" Sofia yelled, shocking Mason, Brooke, and Khai, in all of the years that they had been friends they had never heard her yell like that.

The three turned to her before turning to each other and choosing to ignore it, Sofia and Nick continued their conversation occasionally yelling. 

Brooklyn was in La La land, still shocked at the fact that she was currently sitting in her celebrity crushes house, she was fangirling over every little thing. Sometimes she forgot the boy were actual, normal people, kind of like herself. 

Khai and Nate however were playing Fortnite with Matt, who hadn't planned in minute since he's been busy hanging out with family and friends while also making time for filming. 

Meanwhile Chris was also watching Sofia and Nick scream and yell, he found it intriguing on how passionate the two were about these subjects, he knew Nick was, but he didn't know Sofia was and he found it pretty funny that the two were yelling.

A little while later the group sat scattered around the living room as they watched Mamma Mia, chosen by Nick and Brooke of course. Brooke sat near Chris, but Khai and Nate sat in between the two so Brooke didn't literally pass out from being so close to him, while Nick and Matt sat on the other side of that couch and Sofia sat on the couch next to Chris and Mason, she was laying her head on his shoulder as he watched the movie unlike everyone else, who were just moving from topic to topic about random things until Matt spoke, "I'm hungry, you guys want pizza?" 

Everyone nodded in agreement as Matt went to his room to go order the food, but also so he could have some peace and quiet after all the yelling. After he ordered the food, he sat there taking couple minutes to himself.

Sofia abruptly sat up on the couch excusing herself to use the bathroom, she made her way down the hall and went to the bathroom, directions from Nick, she quickly used the bathroom, as she was walking out of the bathroom, she accidentally ran into Matt who was coming out of his room, "I'm sorry," he apologized, "It's fine," 

"So... did you order the food?" Sofia cursed at herself for asking such a stupid question, he obviously did, she just wanted to make conversation and she didn't know what to say to the boy, "Yeah," he awkwardly nodded, he also didn't know what to say.

"So... how's, I don't know, life?" she asked breaking the awkward silence between the two as they stood in the hallway, "It's good, and now I'm back home, so it's better," he answered, "That's good," she softly smiled at the boy who awkwardly smiled back.

"What about you?" 

"Um, it's been better," she wasn't lying it had gotten somewhat better since her mom passed, but it still wasn't great, "How've you been since...?" he asked trailing off, he didn't know if he should've asked that, but he was hoping the girl was okay.

"Since...?" she questioned raising her eyebrows, "Nate told me what happened with your mom and your dad, and I was just wondering if you were okay," he replied, "Oh yeah, I've been... fine," she was so going to kill Nathan later.

She didn't mind people knowing but he could have at least told her that they knew, she didn't want to be the 'depressed girl without a mom,' she wanted to be the normal girl with crazy friends.

"I know we only just met, but if you ever want to talk about it or anything to someone new instead of the same people, you can talk to me, or Nick, or Chris," he offered, "Thanks Matt," she smiled, he returned the smile before the two walked back to the living room as Nick and Brooke were talking (screaming) about random things while, the other four boys did the same.

"Well there all busy, but I'm gonna go pick up the pizza, you wanna come?" he offered, "Uh sure," she shrugged, the two started putting their shoes on as the six on the couch didn't even realize that they were leaving, "We'll be right back!" Matt told the boys and girl, "Yeah whatever," Nick said shooing the boy away as he continued his conversation with Brooke.

Matt rolled his eyes as Sofia softly chuckled at the two.

Mason looked at the girl as she left with Matt, he was wondering when the two had become friends, she told him they hadn't talked at all, since the three-four-Ish days they've known each other, but he was happy that she was making friends outside of their friend group.
