April 11th, 2022.

Warm sunlight peaked in through Sofia's curtain and onto her face. Groaning at the bright light shining on her face, Sofia squirmed in her bed trying to cover her face and body from the sunlight and stay in her comfortable deep sleep. But then it hit her like a brick. 

Her head ached in pain which caused her to groan in pain and annoyance, she knew drinking was bad for her, but she didn't care until her head started pounding the next day. Sofia wondered how she got home.

She didn't remember anything that had happened last night, and it pained her, she didn't know what stupid and embarrassing things she had done and or said. As she slowly sat up, she let out a sigh and began walking to her bathroom to brush her teeth, but all she wanted to do was lay down until her headache went away.

Doing her business, Sofia thoroughly washed her hands and then began brushing her hair and then moving on to get the disgusting taste of morning breath along with alcohol and throw up. 

That's right. Throw up. Sofia didn't remember much that had happened last night, but she did remember waking up every few hours to throw up. She didn't even know how the trash can ended up on the floor, but she was thankful that it was there for her.

Scrubbing her teeth, Sofia hummed before spitting into the sink and rising her mouth and toothbrush. She strolled back into her room after rummaging through her cabinets for some Tylenol or Advil. 

Stopping in front of her nightstand, slapping her hand over her face as she felt stupid for not realizing that there were multiple bottles pills for her to take along with a note and few waters bottles. 

Picking up the bottle, Sofia popped a pill into her mouth and took a long sip of water before picking up the note. It was a small piece of ripped paper. The note was covered in Matt's handwriting along with his signature at the very bottom.

Even though the note was short, it was sweet, and it meant a lot to Sofia, so she tucked it away in her pocket, and planned to later on put it in a better place. 

Matt didn't have to do that, he didn't have to do anything, but he did, and she adored it. "Call me if you need anything" Sofia noticed and adored the small the things and that was one of the things she loved about Matt, he was considerate and sweet.

Her stomach did a little flip as she smiled down at the note, wondering what really happened last night and how she ended up home.

Sofia's thoughts were interrupted when her phone dinged, she set the note back down and reached for her phone. Smiling when she saw the contact name 'short twin🤞🏻💗' clicking on the contact name she responded to Tara's text.

Sofia smiled at her phone, putting it to the side. She knew how Brooke would react, she'd scream and shout of joy, but also try to calm herself down so she wasn't embarrassed. Standing up to go make breakfast as yesterday played throughout Sofia's head, remembering everything. The memories all rushed back to Sofia, her conversation with Kyle, her texting Matt, Danny coming up to her and forcing himself on her, Matt coming out of nowhere and punching the shit out of him.

But what really struck Sofia was the fact that she had remember kissing him. Sofia almost fell down the steps as the memories rushed throughout her mind. What shocked her even more was the fact that she remembered him kissing her back.

Remembering the feeling of Matt's lips on her's made her heart and stomach flutter with butterflies. She remembered their moment in the car, she couldn't believe it. She had cheated on her boyfriend, and she felt like shit. 

Her mind raced with thoughts and questions; Did Matt like her? Did she really like him? Would they be worth it? What about Mason? What would she tell him when she saw him next? How would he react? Would he hate her for a drunken kiss? But most of all did the kiss mean to anything him?

Sofia was freaking the fuck out, she kissed Matt, and he kissed her back? Is this a dream? Sofia thought as she paced the kitchen, she didn't know what to or what to think, she was excited, but she felt guilt and a nervousness settling in her stomach all at once.

She needed to talk to someone about this mess and she knew the perfect person. Running upstairs to grab her phone and began calling Brooke. The brunette headed best friend very much shipped Sofia and Matt, so she knew she had to tell her. 

Even though the two hadn't been talking as much as they usually did which was every day, Sofia just had to call her and tell her the news. She couldn't not talk about it, she had to talk about it to someone. Anyone. 

Just not Mason, Nick, Nate, Chris, or Khai, because they wouldn't understand and if they did, they'd probably be disgusted and Mason would be pissed which Sofia wouldn't blame him for and she wouldn't blame him if he wanted to break up with her and never, ever speak to her again and she knew she'd deserve it if that were the case.

Grabbing her phone off of her nightstand Sofia opened it to see text messages from her siblings and father to which she ignored, but she clicked on Brooke's contact and read the messages about Tara following and texting her on Instagram. Brooke was freaking out but she eventually kind of calmed down.

Sofia texted her and Madi telling the two that they needed to talk about the crisis that had occurred last night. Brooke immediately called Sofia and Madi soon joined the call, "What happened?!" Brooke frantically asked from her bed back in Boston.

"Is it time for girl talk?" Brooke asked Sofia who frantically nodded her head, "Girl talk?" Madi questioned with a soft confusing tone, Sofia was going to answer but Brooke beat her to it, "It's in the name, dude! It's where we talk about something so important, and we don't tell anyone except for each other. I told you this a few days ago, you're apart of Bofia now, you should know this stuff." 

Sofia's eye's squinted in confusion at their nickname, Bofia? what the hell is that? Sofia wondered, she knew it was their ship name, but it was a horrible name really. "We have to change the name now and we have to make a group chat with us three," Brooke added.

"Ohh our new ship should be Mobia or Bomia, which one do you guys like better?" Brooke questioned the two, "I don't care, we have more important things to talk about right now, Brooke. We can figure it out later."

Brooke nodded in response sitting up from her bed as Sofia sat down in her's, "Okay, okay right, what happened?" Sofia huffed out a breath before telling them everything that happened the previous day.

"Okay so I got ready for Tara's party, I drove there said hi to her and I'm like in love with her, she's so sweet and nice and funny," Sofia rambled on about Tara until Brooke cleared her throat causing her to stop, "Oh right. We talked I met some of her friends, we drank and partied and then after a while of all that I went upstairs to use the bathroom and I met this guy, we started smoking, and I was really drunk at the time and-"

"Can you just get to the point?" Brooke asked cutting Sofia's words off getting impatient, "I'm getting there. Kyle and I started talking about... everything and we started talking about Matt. And its m-made me realize some... things."

"What kind of things?" Madi questioned with raised eyebrows as Brooke squinted hers, "Feeling things..." Sofia quietly trailed off, "You finally realized!?!" Brooke asked with a sparkle in her eye as she jumped up from her bed in happiness and excitement. 

"Yeah... basically," Sofia shrugged it off as Brooke squealed in excitement as Madi watched in utter confusion, Sofia tried to explain but Brooke was too loud for either of them to hear anything other than Brooke.

"Brooklyn Gonzalez!" Sofia exclaimed at her nonsense, "Sorry, sorry. I'm just so happy for you!" Brooke smiled, "Well there's nothing to be happy about considering that I still have to talk to Mason, and I don't even know if Matt likes me, but that kiss just-" Sofia spoke and then started muttering to herself causing Brooke to cut her off.

"Kiss?! You guys kissed!?! And you didn't start with that??" Pursing her lips Sofia responded, "Uh... oops?" In a questioning tone with a shrug, "No, not oops! Always start with the juicy shit first!" Brooke exclaimed in disappointment, "You're right, I'm sorry,"

"Wait so you and Matt kissed?" Madi questioned, "Yeah," Sofia nodded in response, "But you have a boyfriend...?" Madi once again questioned with a slower tone, "I know it's bad, but I was drunk and I have to talk to Mason, I know, but I don't wanna go home, I can't." 

"Not yet." Sofia added with a sigh. 

"Okay, but can we just talk about the fact that I was right?" Brooke questioned, Sofia let out a sigh of response, but Brooke pushed her until she said it, "Fine you were right about me and Matt," Brooke shook her head at her words, "Not I was right about Mofia, you have to say the ship name, I didn't make a group chat about it for nothing," 

Letting out a sigh before taking a pause, "You made a group chat about it?" Sofia asked, "Yeah I had too," Brooke shrugged as she sat up in her bed, "Oh my god," Sofia muttered, "Wait why am I not in it?" Sofia questioned with wonder in her tone.

"Because you guys aren't supposed to know about it yet." Brooke deadpanned, "Whatever," Sofia shook her head with a sigh, "Good now say it," Brooke demanded, "Fine! you were right about... Mofia, whatever kind of ship name that is," Sofia rolled her eyes at her own words.

"Good now tell us everything!" Madi begged, "Okay fine, but don't tell anyone, okay?" The two girls immediately nodded, promising not to tell anyone, not even Nick or Chris. Sofia then started giving them a run-down of everything that had happened with Kyle and Danny but mid-way through her conversation she heard the front door doorbell ring.

Jumping up from her bed, Sofia went downstairs in confusion, no one knew she was still at her parent's house, everyone other than Matt and his brothers thought that she had went back to Boston, which wasn't the case.

"Hold on guys," Sofia told her two best friends as she made her way down the steps. The two waited as Sofia confusingly made her way to the front door, she thought maybe it's just the mailman or something. But to her surprise she opened the door to reveal someone who she was not expecting to be in LA at all. 

"Mason." Sofia muttered once she saw her boyfriend standing outside her door with a duffle bag in hand.
