** warning : creepy themes **
The moon hung high in the ink-black sky over Willowbrook, casting a silvery glow upon the quiet town. The night was still, interrupted only by occasional rustlings in the leaves and the distant hum of the town's nocturnal inhabitants.
Down a shadowed street, the police station stood as a silent sentinel, its structure outlined by sparse lamplight. Most of the building was shrouded in darkness, with only a few strategic lights left on, casting a warm, yellow glow that spilled onto the empty sidewalk.
Inside the back office that seemed to be a large shed of sorts, Mike was grunting in pain waking up from being knocked out. He looks down breathing heavily to see his wounds patched up, and dry blood staining his beige coloured shirt from where he had gotten stabbed.
He tried to get up off the orange medical chair he was placed on, thoughts straight away diverting to (Y/N) knowing what he had done to jeopardise her life, and needed to get to her as fast as possible.
Two hands being placed onto his shoulders gently stopped him from moving, making Mike wince glancing up to be met with Issac's worried expression, "Don't move. You will reopen your wounds again."
Mike swallowed to ease his dry throat leaning up a bit with Issac's help, and felt his stomach twist knowing the Diaz male would not be happy with him, "W-what are you doing here?" His question came out raspy, throat feeling like sand paper.
Issac furrowed his brows together with a even more panicked look, "I already know what happened, and how my twin is in-" His words go caught in his throat choked up, causing him to sigh heavily to calm himself, "Vanessa came to pick me and Abby up. She's in the other room right now sleeping."
Mike felt the weight on his shoulders ease a bit hearing his little sister was alright, but it didn't stop his heart from clenching knowing (Y/N) was still in trouble, "We need to go get her," He weakly croaked out, tears blinding his vision cradling his sore arm, "we have to save (Y/N), Issac."
"I know Mike, and we will." He promised firmly trying to keep his own emotions at bay, but in reality he was terrified about losing his twin to whatever had her in its grasps, "But first, we need to hear what Vanessa has to say."
Mike sent Issac a confused look briefly from the corner of his eyes, not missing the way her name came out of his mouth in a hiss, and wondered why his feeling for her change. Than again, it made sense Issac would be pissed off with the woman who knew his twin was in terrible danger.
Footsteps coming out from the shadows around the corner was heard, appearing from the doorway was Vanessa with an alarmed look, "Careful." She advised walking up to the males, placing down a bottle of medicine on the table beside Mike's bed, "I managed to stop the bleeding but you're probably gonna need stitches."
"Where are we?" Mike asked on edge wrapping an arm around his stomach, pushing himself up to the edge of the bed with Issac's help, watching the officer pace around.
"Police supply outpost." She answered placing away the supplies she used the help Mike, and pulled out a blanket from the cupboard for Abby in the other room, "I fond you after I got Issac and Abby, and uh, you were badly hurt."
Mike shared a quick look with Issac who nodded squeezing his uninjured shoulder, and stepped back to give Mike some room, "They tried to kill me, Vanessa." He tells her lowly, sending the officer a sour expression, "But I'm guessing you already knew that."
Vanessa stopped walking around the room to lean against the other table, not saying anything which had Mike talking again, "Max. Her brother." He listed off earning him a head turn of guilt, "You knew about them, too, right?"
"It's complicated." She murmured just only above a whisper, shuffling uncomfortable in her spot feeling the harsh stares from the two displeased males in front of her.
Issac scoffed a fake laugh through his teeth, and ran his hand down his face stressed, "More complicated than possessed robots murdering innocent people?" He spat his question, accent coming out stronger in response.
"They weren't innocent-"
Mike's rage flared up at this feeling his blood boil, snapping his head around to scowl at Vanessa, "Yeah, (Y/N) is!" He exclaimed loudly making the officer flinch, and try to say his name but yet he kept going, "The woman who wouldn't think twice about risking her own life for someone else! You saw how they act with her, and you knew what they were capable of, and yet you still didn't say anything! And now she's in danger!"
Despite the situation currently happening, Issac couldn't help but smile a bit at how protective Mike was over his twin sister, and how much he really cared about her. Issac was starting to think they were the real Romano, and Juliet, and that they would get marry to live happily ever after.
Vanessa walked up to the now pacing Mike to stand beside Issac who scoffed again, crossing his arms over his chest, "Tell me what happened." She asked a bit wavery, trying to keep her cool seeing how scared Mike was.
Mike leant his palms back onto the medical chair taking a deep breath, and exhaled slowly, "In my dream...they said they wanted Abby, but now they asked me for (Y/N)." He bit back a small sob wanting to escape, avoiding Issac's eyes that he could feel on his back, "And I said yes without thinking."
Vanessa's face softened hearing his words as she knew the very thing she was fearing, was about to happen. Issac blinked back his own tears of fear on behalf of his sister, and placed a comforting hand on Mike's back, feeling his figure shaking a bit.
Mike sniffled feeling his eyes burn with emotion again staring at the ground, digging his fingers into his legs to level himself, "It was a mistake, and I-I tried to fix it. It's all my fault..." He trails off in a shaky tone, "What do the want with her? Why do they want the woman I love so badly?"
A haunted glaze overtook Vanessa's gaze, as if she had glimpsed a darkness too profound to be put into words, and shakes her head quivering, "They want to make her stay with them forever..." She answered in a whisper, "And I know they don't want to harm her.... but they will if he's around."
🎈💭
Standing in front of the light up sign of Freddy's was the alarmed Diaz girl in question, still being clang onto by the smiley blonde haired boy, who hadn't let her go even with they went into a taxi to drive all the way to the pizzeria.
The doors were already opened to welcome her, the light blinking more rapidly at her presence standing in the empty parking lot, as the cold breeze nipped at her exposed skin.
She licked her bottom lip nervously feeling how dry it was from the cold environment, and glanced down at Cassidy beaming up at her, "S-so, why are we back here again?" She asked hesitantly, pulling Mike's coat around her more to bring herself comfort.
He tilted his head to the side with a mocking pout on his lips, blonde locks falling across his forehead that had her trying to hold back from playing mother and pushing them back. She hated how much her heart was aching for him, and the other children she had met.
"We're here to find Abby, remember?" He answers back with a reminder, squeezing her forearm against his cheek and laughed a bit cruelly that had bad a shiver going down her spine, "You forgot, didn't you silly?"
Ignoring how she knew this entire situation wasn't going to end well for her, she faked her offense by placing a hand over her heart, "Wow, you wound me." She gasped dramatically, dipping her head to the side.
Behind her Golden Freddy's shoulders moved up and down, looking like he was laughing at her comment, as his one good ear twitches in sync with the movements. At the same time Cassidy giggled like a normal kid for once, and shakes his head pointing at the front door.
"Let's hurry and go inside. I can tell you're cold." He commented sweetly tugging her arm forward rapidly, trying to pull her towards the entrance to lock her inside the pizzeria. Not that she knew that yet though.
(Y/N) yelped a bit tripping over her own feet at how rough he was pulling her, regaining her footing to briefly turn back around to Golden Freddy, who reached out a paw in a way that almost seemed to want to save her, and take her hand away from the blonde's grip.
But one warning glance from Cassidy over his shoulder, caused Golden Freddy to slump his shoulders sadly and pull back his arm with a creak, reminding her that he was still metal and a animatronic.
Once she stepped through the doors of the pizzeria, she was instantly on edge again experiencing the same bad feeling at how eerier, and sinster the change of environment felt.
Outside it was cold and normal, but inside the building completely threw her off guard. The air inside hung heavy with the stale scent of decay, a poignant reminder of bygone joy and laughter.
Without realising the doors slowly closed behind her by themselves, followed by a sound of chains wrapping around the handles, and had now trapped her inside the building, unless someone from outside could get it undone.
"This way, Miss. (Y/N)." Cassidy's too of a soft voice speaks up, knocking the girl from staring intently at the hallway in front, and let herself be lead by him through the main lobby. The WELCOME sign light all lit up, as soon as she passed through the threshold.
In the '80s, when those kids went missing.... the police searched Freddy's from top to bottom. Every inch was accounted for.
She felt Cassidy's hand slip down into hers causing her to flinch a bit, and swallowed hardly being once again reminder that he wasn't real, by how she felt no warmth coming from his skin against hers.
The two stood in the middle of the main area for a few seconds, (Y/N) feeling a huge amount of tiredness washing over her all of a sudden, and blinked back the urge to sleep, as she was gently pulled along by Cassidy more into the pizzeria.
But they never found them.
The sound of electricity humming lowly around them picked up the more they walked inside, and came to a complete stop when the pair stood in front of the stage, where for some reason was empty.
A knot tightened in (Y/N)'s stomach, a visceral reaction to the sight before her. It felt as if an invisible hand had plunged into her gut and twisted, a sense of discomfort and unease coiling within her like an insidious serpent.
"Oh, no..." She started off in a panicked whisper yell, glancing around a bit worriedly trying to spot the four missing animatronics, "Where did they go? Cass, do you know?"
The blonde's blue eyes softened into a happy expression across his face at her nickname for him, until it snapped away into a strange stoic look, "No. I have no clue, Miss. (Y/N)." He replied coldly, squeezing her hand in his more.
She winced a bit feeling the death drip on her hand, bit decided to leave him alone in case she enraged anything in there. Better to play along rather than fight back yet, where she could escape when the right time was.
Abby was at Freddy's pizzeria, something at the back of her mind told her that already, she could sense that was the case, and was tricked. She just hoped nothing bad would happen, and that she could find a way out without hurting any of the animatronics who in reality where scared children.
The man who took them, he was a.... he was a very bad man.
Cassidy lead her over to the wall of many drawings that was lit up by a very dull light, and (Y/N) felt a weird pull in her heart towards the one in the middle, making her fingers twitch itching to touch it.
Inside the picture drawn by a kid most likely, was the five children whom she knew were the ones in her dreams, holding hands with a yellow bunny, who wore a permanent smile across hits so called cute face.
A very cruel man. Also a very clever man. He knew the parents would cry, and the police would come looking. And he knew there's one place they'd never think to check because....
"Don't touch it." Cassidy sharply warned the girl seeing her going to graze the drawing, causing her to pause and glance down at him, seeing how his features were scared now. Not for him, but for her.
(Y/N) swallowed her fears down nodding her head, dropping her hand back to her side. The spotlights suddenly switched on behind them, causing Cassidy's hand holding hers to get tighter, and saw how all the animatronics were there on the stage the entire time.
....why would they? I mean, why would anyone?
Feeling the chilling stares behind her from within on the stage, she turned around to walk slowly up to where the animatronics were with Cassidy, just seeing their heads follow her every moment as she approached.
The pit of her stomach seemed to drop away, leaving a void that only deepened with each passing moment, a sinking feeling that defied rational explanation.

"It's not just their ghosts that are inside of those machines." Vanessa continues on telling the horrors of the pizzeria to the two frozen males in front, and she tipped her head with a small cry, "It's their bodies."
Mike and Issac remind quiet in their thoughts listening closely to what she was saying, in complete shock that this was actually real. But who could blame them though? It's not every day poor innocent kids get stuffed into suits, and made puppets for the rest of their lives.
"You two have to understand, the..." She paused mid speech, words getting caught in her throat making her exhale shakily, "the kids, they don't want to hurt anyone. It's-it's him. He influences them somehow, just like the other two do. Just like the kids, they have no choice either."
Her teary eyes flickered to Issac's frowning face at her last words, feeling another hit of guilt stab her heart, "He took everything for them all, but the kids don't remember."
"Who, Vanessa?" Mike's deep voice asked seriously, no longer trapped in his own thoughts remembering who was still in danger, and needed to find out from the officer everything he could, in order to save his girl.
The officer sighed through her nose, a bitter smile across her lips standing up, "I tried to warn you. I really did try in my own way, to keep (Y/N) and Abby out of this." She threw her hands in the air defeated, "But it's too late now. He knows that you're looking for him. He knows she's a Diaz, and he'll be coming."
Issac's head snapped around to Vanessa sharply hearing the way she talked about his twin, and said their last name with fear, "You need to tell us who he is." He demanded through his teeth, pushing aside his feelings for the blonde.
She bit on her wobbly bottom lip not enjoying how he was treating her, and reached for her pocket to pull out something. She unfolded the photo, handing it over to the males to see, "His name is William Afton.... He's my father."
Inside the photo it showed it was taking in the pizzeria near the Welcome sign, having a smaller version of Vanessa inside, under the arm of the Yellow bunny. But what made Issac's stomach turn was the faces of his parents, their dead smiles staring right back at him, on either side of the Yellow bunny suit.
Mike's eyes also got glossy seeing the familiar orange plane inside Vanessa's arms in the photo, his mind thinking back to Garrett, and the one he had which was eerily similar to the one inside the picture.
Issac clenched his jaw placing a hand on Mike's shoulder to squeeze reassuringly, and stared at Vanessa with watery eyes, "You knew?" He gritted out causing her face to drop, "This whole time. My parents, Mike's brother, you knew."
She instantly shakes her head frantically sitting down in the chair beside the table, "Not about Garrett, no." She splutters out making eye contact with Issac, "But you're parents..." She placed a hand over her mouth, crying out a bit, "I did. And I'm so sorry- I can't tell you anything, even if I wanted."
His face contorted in a visceral display of fury, a storm brewing in the depths of his gaze, "Tell us how to stop them." His voice was so dangerously low it scared Vanessa, his eyes once calm seas, now burned with an incandescent rage, "Tell me how to save my sister!"

The sound of something charging up filled the Diaz girl's eyes clinging onto the warmth from Cassidy's hand in hers, that wasn't even there in the first place still standing in the middle of the dreadful pizzeria.
Her (E/C) eyes saw the speakers switching on around the stage now for some reason, followed by the animatronics eyes twitching a bit. That was when the disco lights were switched on also, followed by her favorite song playing TALKING IN YOUR SLEEP.
It caused her to flinch a bit startled at the loud noise coming from the speakers, and how Bonnie and Freddy were putting on a show on the stage, all of the machines alive and preforming now.
Her eyes widened, pupils dilating as if trying to absorb more light in the sudden darkness of despair, "W-why are they playing this out of all songs?" She asked shakily over the music to Cassidy, who was slowly slipping away from his physical ghost body.
Cassidy just lifted the corners of his mouth into a creepy smile, and used his freezing cold fingertips to move hers up also forcefully, "You should be smiling." He cooed in a sweet tone, pulling back his hands to motion to the four animatronics playing for her, "This is your favorite song, isn't it?"
The color drained from her face hearing his words, leaving behind a pallor that spoke of fear's icy grip. Lines of distress etched themselves across her forehead, creating a canvas of worry, as she stared straight ahead at the stage.
The air, once breathable, now felt dense and stifling. She felt like the ceiling hanged low, casting a shadow that pressed down on her like an invisible weight.
She felt Cassidy's grip on her loosing some more which had her freaking out, not wanting the only other somewhat of a person in here to leave her, when all she felt right now was fear. No matter how much she found the performance fun, it didn't over power the fear.
An unsettling sensation crawled up her spine, as if an unseen presence was stalking her from the shadows behind. A subtle chill grazed the nape of her neck, and an instinctive shiver ran down her spine, a warning sign that something was lurking just beyond her awareness.
In that moment (Y/N) knew something was right behind her, and she couldn't do anything about it. She was frozen in her spot, feet glued to the floor as she watched the animatronics play the song.
A silent, invisible force seemed to inch closer, causing the tiny hairs on her arms to stand on end. The atmosphere thickened with an unspoken threat, and an eerie stillness settled around her. She resisted the urge to look over her shoulder, afraid to confirm the intangible fear that gnawed at her senses.
Freddy and Bonnie both waved their paws at her greeting despite how terrified she must look down on the floor, the four machines not even realising what danger she was in either, as they were themselves for now.
A cold breath, almost imperceptible, brushed against the back of her neck, and a sudden awareness of being watched intensified, as the sensation of unseen eyes boring into her back fueled her unease.
Suddenly a whisper, soft and sinister, slithered through the darkness, sending a wave of dread through her. The words, barely audible, carried a haunting weight.
"Goodnight, (Y/N) Diaz." The disembodied voice seemed to echo around the room despite the music, leaving her paralyzed with a chilling realization that she was not alone.
Darkness seemed to pulse with malevolence in her vision, swallowing her in an instant. The absence of light became absolute, and she was left suspended in an unsettling void of nothing.
As the shadows closed in, a sense of helplessness enveloped her, the ominous whisper lingering in her mind as the world faded to an impenetrable black. And the last thing she saw, was all five children's sad smiles staring down in a circle around her.

"Electricity is the key." Vanessa tells the two males getting ready to head back to Freddy's, and she picked up a long taser from inside the holder it was kept it, "We use these for animal control."
Issac was slipping around a belt that had weapons around his waist, watching Mike talk to Abby across from him, as he knew she had to come with them since she had a close connection with the machines also.
"There's a taser on your belt." Vanessa states tapping the side of the belt on Issac's waist, placing down the animal control taser on his jacket beside Mikes, "It won't do permanent damage, but it'll mess with the animatronic circuitry. Hopefully buy you two some time."
He slipped on his jacket giving a perfect view of his muscles, and made eye contact with Mike who nodded his head holding Abby close, "Come with us." He spoke clear as day to the officer, turning to look at her.
Fear flashed in Vanessa's eyes hearing his demand, and shakes her head quickly stepping back a bit, "No." She stuttered, bumping into the medical chair behind her.
"Vanessa, you owe it to us, and you owe it to them." Issac urged a bit more pleading now, pushing himself up from his spot to walk up to where the stressing girl was, "I need to save my sister, and I need your help to do that."
She still shakes her head in denial, slamming the spare vest she picked up from the chair onto the metal table grunting, "No, I can't. If he's there, I..." She got choked up placing the back of her hand onto her forehead, "I won't be any use to you, believe me."
His expression softened a bit noticing how truly scared she was, and gently took her forearms into his hands comfortingly, whispering lowly, "He really messed you up, didn't he? Reminds me of my parents."
She tensed horribly hearing the echoes of children's laugher, and screams from her past, "Take these." She slipped her arms out of his hold, and passed the car keys over into Issac's hand, "These will get you there faster."
🎈💭
Speeding down the road at top speed now in the police car, Mike was trying to ignore his own pain, fighting against it as his only thought was (Y/N), and wanting to save her before he lost her forever.
Both males were wearing weapons around their waists knowing what they would have to fight, and are up against to gain the missing family member back. They were ready to do anything to gain her back safely.
Issac had one of his strong arms wrapped around Abby in the back seat, who was cradling her teddy bear that reminder her of (Y/N), her cheeks stained with dried tears hoping the woman she thought of a mother figure was alright.
You need to avoid the front entrance. There's an outlet vent on the east side of the building. That's the best way inside.
Once the trio arrived at the parking lot for Freddy's, they had split into two groups despite Issac wanting to be the first to see if his twin was alright or not, but also knew she would be either way if Mike was going to get her.
So he stayed out front with Abby ready to break the chains around the door when it was the right time, and made sure Mike was set before he went back into the car to impatiently wait for a sign.
Mike heaved himself up into the cramped vent that he almost gaged at the smell of it, and held his breath as he crawled through the metal passageway, on his hands and knees.
A sudden squeaking noise beside him had the male yelping, and saw a tiny mouse running past him. He grimaced at the animal, and continued on crawling through the heat box until he reached the grate at the end.
He could hear the music playing that was his beloveds favorite song, and the disco lights that had him squinting a bit from how bright they were twirling around the room.
Up on the stage he spotted the unconscious figure of (Y/N) being carried by Chica across the stage, getting looks from the other machines still performing, causing Mike's heart to drop to his stomach drastically.
"No-" He whispered in horror watching with wide eyes at her being taking behind stage, fingers gripping onto the metal grate desperately wanting to get to her, and began to slam his palm into the metal forcefully.
The grate fell down onto the floor with a loud thump causing his figure to tense, and glance up hoping the two animatronics didn't hear it. Lucky they didn't, since the music was so loud and they were busy with the performance.
Gulping down any fears he had the male began to pull himself across the tiled floor, keeping low to not blow his chance to save (Y/N), and get caught by the killer machines.
He swear her saw Bonnie jabbing his arm up sharply in his direction, either alerting him or Freddy, who turned his head straight away to Mike, who hid behind the stage just missing getting caught by the bear.
Freddy's frozen blue eyelids blink slowly staring down at the place Mike was once in, tilting his head to the side sharply again, but soon went back into performing mode on the stage easing his panic for the time being.
