aspen becket is a barista at jitters, and it's a job that she very much enjoys, especially the part of her day when that same person on a coffee run walks in every morning. it would be a little farfetched to say it's the highlight of her day, but in all honesty it is. the latina finds herself waiting for the door to open and for them to recite that same order every time, same drink for the same colleagues, each day. much to her dismay, aspen has never been granted the opportunity to talk to them properly, something more than witty banter shared before they leave, drinks in hand. yet. but aspen can't wait for the day that that changes, and she doesn't know how soon it's coming . . .

⤷ she has a good memory and is a good multitasker.
⤷ aspen enjoys working at jitters so much because she likes watching the array of people that come in and out each day.
⤷ she works long shifts because she likes company, she lives alone and likes being around people for as long as she can.
⤷ the reason aspen hasn't ever been able to start up a real conversation with her l/i is because they're always in a rush.
