CHAPTER FOUR : NEW SCHEDULES

ELYNA was always a morning person, so it wasn't a surprise that she woke up before the sun did as she prepared for the day. She had plenty of time to get dressed and fix her hair before she woke her roommates up. Elyna gave one last look to her now awake roommates before making her way downstairs to make sure the first years know where to go.

"Uhm Ms. Achard ?" A first years nervously asks looking up at her.

"Yes? Also please call me Elyna" Elyna smiles down at the first year.

"What do we do?" She asks with her hands behind her back looking up at Elyna with wide eyes. 

"Well breakfast starts at exactly 7:00 o'clock which is just in 20 minutes. Breakfast is held in the great hall where you were sorted into your house and where you will also be receiving your class schedule. Do you remember the way to the great hall or do you need me to lead you to the great hall again?" Elyna politely asks the first year who nods her head. 

"Thank you, Elyna and no ma'am I memorized the way just, like Mr. Riddle said to" She thanks Elyna and goes back to the other first years to tell them what Elyna told her.   

"Well, aren't you helpful" Toms voice says from behind her causing Elyna to jump a bit at the suddenness of his voice. 

"Riddle" Elyna greets with a frown. 

"What a joyous morning greeting" Tom sarcastically says with a smirk on his face.

"Good mourning Riddle! How was your mourning?" Elyna sarcastically asks the boy who smiles down at her. 

"It was absolutely wonderful Achard, thank you for asking" He smiles causing Elyna to roll her eyes at the boy before noticing his little minions weren't around. 

"Where are your little minions?"  Elyna suspiciously asks Tom who raises an eyebrow at her.

"Why? Looking for Orion?" Tom asks causing Elyna to scoff, "Ew, no, I would never voluntarily be looking for Orion Black. It is just weird and suspicious seeing you without your little boy club" Elyna states with her arms crossed over her chest, but it seemed like Merlin was listening to her as Orion Black came hurdling down the stairs with a wide smile.

"Elyna Ines Achard ! Give me a smile! " Orion exclaims throwing his arms around Elyna who stumbles back from the sudden weight of his arms around her. Elyna groans at the presence of Orion and pushes his arms off of her with a glare.

"What are you doing up so early Orion?" Elyna raises an eyebrow at Orion who just smiles down at her. 

"My Ellie senses were tingling" Orion flirts causing Elyna to laugh at the comment.

"Good morning my lord" Orion notices Tom and quickly greets Tom with a serious expression and a slight bow.

Elyna looks between the two with furrowed eyebrows, why would Orion call Riddle 'my lord'? and why is he suddenly all serious? Before she could question the two of them Ingrid, Dolores, and Jacklyn came down the stairs, giggling at each other.

"Elyna! Come look at my recent work!" Ingrid hurriedly gestures for Elyna to come over. Elyna sighs waving a goodbye to the two boys as she walks over to the group of girls.

"Meet the new Jacklyn! I've redone her makeup, styled her hair, and gave her a whole new wardrobe that best suits her" Ingrid says presenting Jacklyn whose hair was the most drastic change. Jacklyn's hair used to be a long mess of knots and tangles but now it was straight and cut down to her shoulder and her makeup was more natural.

"You look amazing Jacklyn!" Elyna gives Jacklyn a hug knowing how insecure she used to be about her hair. 

"Thank you, Elyna and thank you Ingrid" Jacklyn thanks the two girls as she was almost on the verge of crying.

"It's no problem Jackie" Ingrid smiles at her and gives her a pat to the back before entwining her arms with Lilith and dragging her out of the common room and towards the great hall. Before they got even close to the great hall did Charles Potter finally join their group with a wide smile on his tan face.

"Hello ladies" Charles greets his friends making his way in the middle of the two to join their entwined arms

"Charlie" The two girls greet in sync. 

"How was it with Riddle?" Charles asks Elyna who purses her lips.

"He barely said anything to the first years and kept glaring at them." Elyna frowns

"Sounds like him" Charles scoffs and Ingrid nods her head as Charles walks the two over to the Slytherin table earning him glares and disgusted scoffs. 

"What's a blood traitors doing over here?" They whisper but they quickly quieted down when they notice the glare from both Elyna and Ingrid

"I'll see you guys later after we get our schedules" Charles says sending them a wide smile before walking over to the Gryffindor table

"Achard, we have to patrol tonight" Tom says from beside Orion who sat across from Elyna, sending the girl kissy faces. 

"Yes, I know" Elyna nods her head as she fixed her a plate of scrambled eggs and toast.

Breakfast went by fast and soon Horace Slughorn was handing them their schedules. He eagerly handed Lilith and Tom schedule to them sending them wide smiles, "Tom! Elyna! So nice to see you two again! I've read over your schedule and I'm excited to tell you both have identical schedules" He beams to the two who hold back a glare.

"Ah thank you professor" Elyna charmingly smiles up at him and Tom does the same.

"I will see you two tomorrow!" He exclaims before continuing to hand out the rest of the schedules.

"Let me see your schedule Ellie!" Orion exclaims while Elyna sighs before handing her schedule over to Orion watching as Tom tries to discreetly look at her schedules, grimacing when he realizes they do in fact have identical schedules. Orion's face brightens when he sees they have a few classes together and hands the piece of paper back to her, "We have three classes together!" He smiles widely.

"Oh fun! sharing classes with both Orion and Riddle" Elyna sarcastically smiles toward Tom who scoffs, " +Girls would kill to be in your position Achard"

"Wonder if I can kill to get out of this situation" Elyna smirks before getting up to leave the table and walking towards the Gryffindor table where Charles sat with Billy Prewitt ,Septimus Weasley, and Ingrid who had just went over there. 

"Hey El! Want some food!" Charles asks with a mouth full of eggs.

"No thank you Charlie" Elyna politely rejects his offer and instead sits next to him while Ingrid grimaces at the sight, smacking Charles in the shoulder.

"Charles! What did we say about speaking with your mouth full?" Ingrid scolds Charles who sends her a sheepish smile

"Swallow your food before you speak" He mumbles as Billy lets out a loud laugh knocking Septimus out of his daze and to send a wide smile to the two girls who joined them.

"Nice to see you two" He smiles and Ingrid smirks at the red head boy

"Septimus! You know now that I think about it I hear Cedrella talk about you in the common room all the time" Ingrid says while twirling a piece of her hair watching as Septimus perks up

"Really?" He asks with a wide smile, his green eyes brightening immensely.

Elyna laughs as Septimus begs for Ingrid to tell him what she says but Ingrid shakes her head, "I'll tell you if you do me a favor" Ingrid slyly smirks.

"Anything" Septimus eagerly states ignoring the warning glance from Charles who purses his lips, Ingrids favors never ended well. Ingrid giggles and whispers to Septimus who grimaces with a hesitant nod.  They all watch as he disappears from the great hall before looking towards Ingrid for an answer, but she just shrugs her shoulders, "You'll find out soon enough" She smiles. 

Elyna purses her lips and shakes her head before rushing Charles to finish his food so they can all leave the Great Hall.  Once Charles finished eating both him and Ingrid were being dragged outside and sat down by the black lake. Charles was quick to conjure up a blanket for them to sit on as Ingrid sat at the edge as she flipped through another one of her wizarding fashion magazines. Charles was laid down, his head resting on Elyna's lap as she read through their potion books for this year. It was peaceful until Orion Black decided to interrupt their peaceful evening. 

"Look who we have here Miss Elyna Achard and her friends" He smirks with Tom, Abraxas, Nicholas by his side.

"What do you want Orion?" Elyna sighs and Orion just smiles at the girl, sending her a wink. 

"To lay on your lap" He smiles causing Elyna to glare at the boy who pouts, "It's not fair Potter gets to, why can't I?" He whines pointing at Charles who grumbles finally waking up from his nap and noticing the four boys. 

"What are they doing here?" Charles groans as he sits up from his spot with a yawn.

"We just wanted to join you all by the black lake" Orion speaks for them all causing them all to sigh. 

"Orion was the one to drag us all over here because he saw Elyna" Abraxas speaks up from behind Orion who decided to plop himself right next to Elyna. 

"I'm going back to the castle this is a waste of my time" Tom frowns, already on his way towards the castle with Nicholas by his side. Elyna rolls her eyes at the boy's attitude and smiles at Abraxas.

"You're welcome to join us if you'd like to Abraxas" Elyna smiles at the boy who nods his head sitting next to Ingrid.

"Thank you" he says looking at Orion who gasps dramatically, "And why wasn't I welcomed to this party?!" He gasps holding his heart as if he was in pain making Elyna gently slap him on the back of his head.

"You've already invited yourself like you always do" Ingrid states while shaking her head at the boy who grumbles at Elyna, "My hair! You're lucky I like you, Ellie! You're the only one who can touch it."

The group sat by the black lake till the stars were twinkling above them, finally retreating inside once dinner came around. Their child-like laughter filled the halls as they walked to the Great Hall, pushing each other around, oblivious to the change that was about to come to their futures.
