Tara Arora is a woman with big dreams and the determination to make them come true. Born into a wealthy family, she could have taken the easy route, but she chose to build her own path.

As a talented fashion designer working at Viveé, a high-end French fashion brand, she's already making her mark. When she's selected as the official jersey designer for the Indian Cricket Team, it feels like her career is reaching new heights.

But life isn't as perfect as it seems. Her fiancé, Matt Henry-a skilled New Zealand Bowler been distant and preoccupied, leaving Tara feeling more alone than ever.

The pair's dads were college friends and had always wanted to get their kids married to each other.

Both Matt and Tara got along with eachother pretty well. Unbeknownst of the alliance planned for them even before their births. When of age, they were finally told about the plans made.

Sure, all of this seemed pretty rushed for the young adults, but their parents had dreamt of it for years.

So, to fulfill their parents' wish, Tara and Matt agreed to the decision. Even though Matt claimed that he was okay with the decision and happy to marry Tara, his recent beholden made Tara suspicious about his statement.

Not too long ago, Matt had proposed to Tara. The setting was a romantic hill top restaurant with lovely music playing in the background and lovely decor.

Under the fading glow of the setting sun had painted the sky pink and orange, Tara ecstatically agreed.

But everything changed since then. Matt was no longer the usual sweet, goofy, funny and understanding best friend of her's. He started acting weird and suspicious.

Tara assumed it was due to the stress of the wedding preparations and his upcoming matches and so she tried communicating with him often but all she got back was cold replies.

Soon enough the distance between them had became a barrier. Matt was always on tours, busy or ignorant towards her, and when he would finally reply, his answers would be cold and short.

Tara would wait for hours and sometimes even days but was left disappointed each time.

While juggling her work and her crumbling engagement, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Shubman Gill, Indian cricket's golden boy and the nation's heartthrob.

Shubman is used to winning-whether it's matches or hearts. But meeting Tara changes everything. She's unlike anyone he's ever met-graceful, talented, and grounded. There's just one problem: she's already engaged.

Despite this, Shubman can't help but be drawn to her. There's something about Tara that makes him want to know her, protect her, and be a part of her world.

As their lives keep colliding, Shubman starts noticing the cracks in Tara's relationship with Matt. He suspects Matt might not be as loyal as he seems, and it angers him to see Tara settling for less than she deserves.
