ONCE Peter sent Tony Stark's number forward to Lillian, she immediately pressed her thumb on the number to call him. She brought her phone back up to her hear as she patiently waited for the phone to pick up. After the third ring, the call went straight to voicemail. She continued calling until after the fourth time, he finally picked up the phone.

"Who is this?" The man spoke up on the phone, his voice showing that he was slightly annoyed with the persistent calling.

"Mr. Stark, hi I'm..." She froze, slightly unsure what her relationship was with Peter was at the moment, "a friend of Peter's." She cringed at herself as she was sure that she already embarrassed herself in front of the Tony Stark.

Tony snickered through the phone, "You sure? You seem a little unsure about that." He pointed out teasingly.

Lillian rolled her eyes at the grown man's childish antics, "Listen, we don't got a lot of time. There's this doctor who's going bat shit crazy and turned himself into this giant lizard and he's planning on 'curing' the world to become like him." She rambled on making sure that Tony wasn't going to hang up on her.

"Okay, kid. I'm listening." He sighed through the phone as Lillian could hear some type of metal being placed down on a surface.

"Peter need us to create an antidote-"

Tony hummed in response, interrupting her, "Alright, I'll uh... have Happy come and pick you up." He said as he's tracing the call to pin her address.

Lillian's eyebrows furrowed, "Okay..." She said as Tony hung up on her.

After a few minutes of patiently waiting for this so-called 'Happy' to pick her up, she gets a text from an unknown number telling her that they're outside. Lillian huffed nervously as she grabbed her jacket and quickly threw it on whilst making her way down to the car.

"You must be Lills?" The man in front of the car spoke.

Lillian slowly nodded, "And you must be Happy?"

Happy motioned for her to come on, "Get in." He said, holding the car door for Lillian and closing it after her. Happy rounded the car as he also went in and started driving to the Stark Tower. "What kind of name is Lills?" Happy asked suddenly, looking at Lillian through the rear view mirror.

"It's a nickname." She inwardly rolled her eyes, "My name is Lillian. I go by Lilly. Peter calls me Lills." She shrugged nonchalantly. "Why is your name Happy if you don't look it?" She shot back whilst looking out the window.

Happy sighed defeatedly, "Touché." He said as they finally made it to their destination. They both exited out of the car and entered the tall building. Happy led her toward the elevator and to Tony's lab. Once the elevator door's opened, Lillian's curious eyes met with Tony's brown ones.

"If it isn't the lovely... Lilly? Lills?" Tony questioned himself before shrugging, "Parker talked so much about you."

"Lilly is fine." She smiled softly. "Good things, I hope." She breathed out nervously, "So... Peter needs us to access the cross-species file. It's a blue serum, vile, 1-2-3-8-9." She stated straightforwardly.

Tony shook his head, taken aback a little. "You're straight to the point, aren't ya?" He crossed his arms.

Lillian sighed, "Well like I said, we don't got a lot of time. How fast are you at hacking into a system?"

Tony's face scrunched up at her question in disbelief, "Is that even a question?" He scoffed.

"We need to hack into OsCorp in order to get that file." She stated as Tony nodded whilst motioning her to follow him to his desk.

As Tony was hacking into the OsCorp's system, Lillian found herself admiring Tony's equipment. She goes to one of the empty desk tables and clicks on one of the buttons as she does her thing to get the serum ready. Tony got a hold of the file, sending it toward Lillian's way as it hovered beside her. Lillian took it and pushed it in front of her as she made sure she was doing everything correctly before she cooked up the antidote.

Tony stood back as he admired the charisma Lillian held with her intelligence, "You really know how to work your way with technology." He pointed out.

Lillian shrugged whilst watching over the antidote, "I guess you can say it's a gift of mine." She said quietly as she smiled to herself.

"Huh..." He crossed his arms as he was lost in thought for a second, "I feel like I know you, for some weird reason." He pondered softly. "Have I met you before?"

She shook her head, finally looking up at Tony, "Nope." She answered whilst looking back at the antidote, "This is my first time meeting you." She stated as the antidote finally finished. "Time to go." She breathed out as grabbed onto the antidote.

Tony nodded, leading the way out as Happy got the car ready to go. Happy opened the back door for both Tony and Lillian as they climbed in whilst Happy shut the door closed after them. Happy sat in the driver's seat and drove off to where they needed to be. Lillian pulled out her phone once she heard it ringing. She put it against her ear after hitting ht answer button.

"Hey, where are you?" Peter asked in somewhat of a panic and worry.

"I'm with Mr. Stark-" Peter interrupted her frantically.

"Okay. I need you to stay there." Peter insisted.

"We're almost on our way to you-"

"No, no, no. Connors is on his way to OsCorp to disperse them with the device, he's gonna infect the whole city." Peter warned her sternly.

Lillian shook her head, "Then we'll go to OsCorp and pull a reverse card." She shrugged as if it was the most easiest thing to do at this point.

Peter groaned through the phone, "You're gonna go to OsCorp after what I just told you?" He asked rhetorically as he shook his head. "People are gonna die, Lills. Tell Mr. Stark to take you home, now." Peter ordered as Tony looked at Lillian in confusion.

"Is that Peter?" Tony asked as she nodded. Tony smacked his lips as he rolled his eyes half heartedly whilst motioning Lillian to pass him the phone which she simply complied to. "Peter, we're literally five minutes away from OsCorp." He told Peter.

Peter sighed frustratedly, "Mr. Stark, sir. Lills can't be there right now-" Lillian groaned lightly as she snatched the phone from Tony and placed her phone against her ear.

"Peter, I'm gonna be fine."

"Lills-"

Lillian hung up the phone, turning to face Tony before speaking up, "Alright, before you say anything. The Lizard is heading for OsCorp Tower to infect everyone." She reminded him as she passed the antidote to Tony as he sighed, "You need to take that to the top. I'm gonna try to get everybody out of the building."

Tony shook his head, bringing his hand up to stop her from speaking any further. "Not happening kid." He protested. "You're staying in this car. I don't have time to be babysitting you, alright? Happy here is gonna take you home, which is what Peter want for you to do. I'll handle the rest-"

Lillian shook her head, "But you're not gonna make it one time." She protested as the car finally came to a stop.

Tony held a finger at her, indicating her to stay put whilst getting out of the car. "Stay." He said sternly as he quickly turned around to face her.

Lillian rolled her eyes at him in slight annoyance, "I'm not a dog." She spat but stayed put nonetheless.

Tony gave her a smug smile, "Good girl." He said with his chest puffed out as he pressed on his arc reactor as he suited up in his iron man armor. "Happy, take her home." He ordered as the helmet covered his face completely and entered the building.

As Peter was swinging his way to OsCorp, the police shot him with a stun-gun bullet which caused him to stumble and fall toward the ground. One of the officers handcuffed him as another officer pulled Peter's mask off whilst he still faced toward the ground. Peter broke the handcuffs and shot up as he fought off the officers that started to assault him.

The Captain pulled out his gun as a warning causing Peter to halt in his steps whilst still facing away from the Captain. "Freeze, now! Get down on the ground and put your hands up." He shouted at Peter as he slowly did what was told.

"Hey, stand down!" A voice shouted at the Captain. "I said, stand down. I'll take it from here." The woman's voice spat sternly toward the Captain. The Captain opened his mouth to say something but soon kept it shut as he took orders from the woman. Peter kept his head down as he slowly turned around to face the woman who he found out to be Leila. Leila showed him that her gun was being placed in her belt as she raised her hands up.

"It's headed toOsCorp, and your daughter is there right now." He told her whilst trying to not reveal his face.

Leila's face scrunched up in confusion, "How do you know my daughter?" She asked as a helicopter hovered over the two with a light casting over Peter's silhouette.

Peter hesitantly took a step closer toward Leila as his face came into a clear view, "You gotta tell them to let me go." He said softly as he kneeled down to reach for his mask and putting it on afterward.

Leila nodded whilst pulling her radio closer to her face before speaking into it, "Hold your fire." She lets go of her radio, looking over at Peter, "Be careful." She said softly.

Peter nodded at her before running off and swinging away. The Lizard has set up the cloud machine on the top of the OsCorp building, getting it ready to detonate the serum in two minutes. Peter shot a web toward the Lizard as he swung around him whilst kicking him down. The Lizard grabbed a hold of Peter, throwing him off the tower. Peter groaned in frustration as he crawled up the building whilst the Lizard grabbed a tank to throw it towards Peter.

Before the Lizard could throw the tank, Peter shot a web at the Lizard's face to buy him some time to change the serum. The Lizard growled in annoyance as he ripped the webbing off of his face and chasing after Peter whilst throwing a tank of liquid nitrogen at him. Peter fell down to the ground whilst the Lizard made his way toward Peter. The Lizard's tail wrapped around Peter's neck whilst picking him up. The Lizard strangled him slowly as Peter tried to pry him off only to have his web shooters crushed forcefully.

The Lizard clicked his tongue as his claw reached toward Peter's face, ripping off his mask. "Poor Peter Parker. No mother. No father. No uncle. Just weak and all alone." He taunted maniacally, turning his attention elsewhere as he heard a metal clang hit against the floor.

The sound of a repulsor blast firing up was being heard, "He's not alone." Tony retorted before firing at the tank of liquid nitrogen.

Peter pushed an off guard Lizard away from him and picked up the hose that came from the tank. He faced the hose toward the Lizard watching as Connors freezing up. Tony fired at the Lizard once more as the tail broke whilst coming near Peter. Tony fired at the Lizard again which caused him to fall along with the tank to keep him freezing. With Tony's free hand, he handed the antidote to Peter. "Here, kid. A gift from Lilly." He stated whilst keeping an eye on the Lizard. "I got this, kid." He said reassuringly before Peter could protest, "Go."

Peter wanted to help out tony but nodded nonetheless, taking the antidote with him to set the cloud machine off. The Lizard broke out the liquid nitrogen that was coating around his reptile skin whilst Tony kept firing at him. The Lizard stood up as he tried to impale Tony's Iron Man suit with his claw, but Tony dodges it by a smidge. "You're gonna wish you didn't just try me." Tony retorted in annoyance.

Tony fired at the Lizard, stunning him whilst Peter managed to swap the serum with the antidote at the last second. The antidote exploded into a giant cloud over the city as the particles spread all over. The Lizard roared in defeat as he slowly but surely turned back into his human form. Peter stood up from the pinnacle, freezing up as felt it starting to break off which caused him to fall. Tony rushed over to Peter to save him from the fall and pulled him up to safety. "I got you kid." He whispered softly.

"The Lizard-" Peter said frantically.

Tony shushed him, "It's okay. We stopped him." He reassured him. "But we gotta get out of here."

Peter shook his head, "Lilly. Is she-"

"She's okay. Happy took her home." Tony interrupted reassuringly with a soft voice. "Hey, kid I know you're probably not gonna wanna hear this, but if you really care about your girl... friend you should distance yourself from her. I'm sure you don't want anything to happen to her." He advised.

Peter sighed deeply, taking in his mentor's- more so a father figure, but he won't admit that- words in carefully. Not saying anything as he simply nodded at his words whilst he left along with Tony to the Stark Tower.
