{T/W: Biff being Biff -assault-}
Doc rolls his eyes at the two of them, "I need you two to focus!" He exclaims causing the two teens to stop play fighting. "Sorry.." They mutter in response before they start to think of what Martys' parents could do to fall in love. Doc looks around before spotting a banner to the Enchantment Under The Sea dance, "Look—there's a rhythmic ceremonial ritual coming up!" Marty has a revelation, "That's right! Enchantment under the sea! They're supposed to go to that dance! That's where they uh—kiss for the first time!" Doc grabs Marty by the shoulders, "All right kid—you stick to your pop like glue and make sure he takes her to that dance." Marty nods, "And you," Doc looks at Darleen, "make sure that his mother doesn't fall anymore in love with Marty than she already is." Darleen nods before saluting him, "Aye aye cap'n."

George sits by himself at a lunch table—eating his lunch and writing furiously. He has a copy of 'Amazing Stories Science Fiction Magazine' with his books. Marty and Darleen come and sit across from him. "Hey George. Remember that girl I introduced you to? Lorraine? She—" Marty stops talking, realizing that he isn't listening to him. "What're you writing?" Darleen asks causing George to look up and smile crookedly, "Oh, it's a science fiction story—about visitors from other planets coming to Earth." Darleen and Marty look at each other—a smile on both of their faces at his words, "I never knew you did anything creative—could we read it?" Marty asks. "Oh no. I never let anybody read my stories." He replies.
"Why not?" Darleen questions—her brows quirked. "Well—what if they don't like 'em? What if they told me I was no good?" Marty gets a bad case of deja vu as George speaks—George continues speaking, "This must be pretty hard for you to understand, huh?" Darleen shakes her head as she gives him a warm smile, "No George, it's not that hard at all." George gets a flustered look on his face as he smiles back at her. "Listen George—about Lorraine. She really likes you." Darleen says—trying quickly to redirect the conversation back to what they were there for.
"She wanted us to tell you she'd really like for you to take her to the 'Enchantment Under The Sea' dance." Marty continues, "Really?" George's eyes light up. "Yep. All you got to do is go over there and ask her." Marty points to where she's sitting. "Now? Right here in the cafeteria? What if she says 'no'? I couldn't handle that kind of rejection." Darleen shook her head, "Don't worry about it George, she'll say yes." Marty interjects, "Look, George. If you don't ask Lorraine to that dance, I'll regret it for the rest of my life." George sighs, "I have a feeling she'd rather go with someone else." The two friends look at each other, "Who?" They say in unison.
George points behind the two, "Biff." Marty and Darleen look in horror as Biff tries to put his hands on Lorraine. She tries to push him away, "Get your paws off me Biff! Leave me alone!" Lorraine yells, "Come on, Lorraine—you want it—you know you want it—and you know you want me to give it to you." Biff says causing the girl to yell at him, "Shut your filthy mouth—I'm not that kind of girl!" Biff smirks, "Maybe you are and just don't know it yet." Lorraine pushes him again, "Get your meathooks off me!" But he persists. "She said get your hands off her." Marty says from behind Biff, Darleen standing with him.
Biff turns and faces Marty, "What's it to you butthead? You know you've been looking for trouble ever since you got here." Biff stands all the way up—towering over Marty causing him to chuckle nervously. "Jesus Christ Biff, can't you at least respect a women's wishes when she says no? My god, seriously—you're the—" Before Darleen could continue, Mr. Strickland walks by. The three play it cool, "As I was saying—you're the biggest asshole I've ever met—and I don't even know you that well." Biff's face turns red with anger before he turns to Marty, "Get your bird to shut her trap. Now why don't you make like a tree and get outta here?" Biff walks away. "Oh, Marty! That was wonderful! Thank you." Lorraine says to Marty.
"But—" Marty goes to say that Darleen was the actual hero—but she cuts him off, "Marty thanks you." Darleen says. Mr. Strickland comes up behind the two teens and puts his hands on their shoulders, "Let me give you both a nickel's worth of advice—don't slack off in my school."
——
Marty, Darleen, and George walked along a tree-lined street from the school. "George—I'm telling you—if you don't take Lorraine to that dance, I'm gonna regret it for the rest of my life." Marty had been going on and on about George and Lorraine—and to be honest—it seemed like Darleen was the only one that knew that George didn't really want to take Lorraine to the dance. "But I can't go. I'll miss my favorite television program; 'Science Fiction Theatre'." Darleen rolled her eyes—not really out of annoyance but of frustration. "Come on, George—Lorraine really wants to go with you. She's really looking forward to it. You wouldn't want to disappoint her—would you?" Darleen looked at George as they stopped in front of his house. "Look, I'm just not ready to ask Lorraine out. And not you or anybody else on this planet is going to make me change my mind." As George went to walk up to his front door—Darleen stopped him.
"Look, will you at least think about? Please?" Darleen grabbed onto his shoulders—making George look down and blush, "Oh...okay, I'll think about it." Darleen smiled, "Great—that's just great George!" He smiled also before he walked away from them to his door. Marty and Darleen walked on the sidewalk from Georges' house, "How did you do that?" Marty questioned after awhile, "Do what?" Darleen looked at him. "Make him think about going to the dance with my mom." Darleen chuckled, "Let's just say I have a way with McFly's." Marty chuckles also before pulling out the snapshot of him and his siblings. All that's left of Dave is his feet.
Both of the teens gulp. The paper boy cycles by and throws the evening news onto the McFly lawn—the headline reads, 'FARMER SEES FLYING SAUCER! Otis Peabody under observation at County Asylum.' The picture shows Farmer Peabody in a straight-jacket. Marty smiles as Darleen gives him a weird look. "I have an idea." Marty says to his friend before he drags her away from the house.
——
It is now nighttime—and it's quiet. George sleeps deeply—his clock shows that it's 1:30 in the morning. A pair of gloved hands place featherweight headphones on George's ears—and he does so much as let out a snore. The two other people in his room are Darleen and Marty, dressed up as "aliens" from stuff they found in Doc's place. Darleen inserts a cassette tape labeled "EDWARD VAN HALEN" into a walkman. She dials the volume to 10 before pressing play. George awakens—screaming. He looks at the two with terror.
"Silence earthling!" Darleen yells—her voice being distorted by the mouth filter in the hood—she turns the music off. "Who—who are you?" George asks. "I am Darth Vader! And this is the T-800. We are extraterrestrial beings from the planet Vulcan." Marty speaks this time. George smooths his hair back, "I must be dreaming." He mutters. "This is no dream. You are having a close encounter of the third kind! You have reached the outer limits of the twilight zone!" Darleen exclaims. "Mom! Dad!" George rips the sheets off of himself—but Marty pulls out the hair dryer that was in Doc's suitcase out of his belt like a gun and blasts some heat at George.
"Silence! My heat ray will vaporize you if you don't obey us!" Marty yells. "Okay! I surrender—turn it off!" Marty lowers it—his digital watch starts to beep. Marty raises his wrist as if it were a radio, "Silence! I am receiving a radio transmission from the Battlestar Galactica! You—George McFly—have created a rift in the space time continuum. The Supreme Klingon hereby commands you to take the female-Earth person, 'Baines Lorraine,' to the location known to you as Hill Valley High School, exactly 4 Earth cycles from now." Darleen interjects, "Saturday night in your language."
