Hill Valley High looked pretty much the same in 1955—but with no graffiti. Not a lot of people were out front—meaning that school was in session. Darleen, Marty, and Doc approach the school—both of the teens dressed in their 1955 garb. Marty notices how much cleaner the school looks, "Wow they've really cleaned this place up. It looks brand new." Doc turns to look at Marty and Darleen, "Remember—according to my theory—all you have to do is introduce them to each other and nature will take its course." Doc pauses before speaking again, "I hope." They enter the school.

——

Marty, Darleen, and Doc are all watching from outside of a classroom in the hall. Marty points out Lorraine in the second row, "That's her—in the second row." Doc looks at her, "Ah, yes—I see the resemblance." Martys' brows furrow before his eyes widen, "My god—she's cheating!" He exclaims quietly. And—in fact—she is cheating off a boy next to her. The bell rings making the three all back off of the classroom door and wait for Marty's parents to appear.

A classroom door opens and students head out to their next class. Amongst them is George McFly—his shirt tail out, his hair uncombed, and papers are practically falling out of his 3-ring binder. Marty, Darleen, and Doc stare from down the hall. "So which one's your father?" Doc asked making Marty sigh, "That's him..." Darleen frowns as she watches students laugh at George before some just kick him in the ass.

A particular kid—Dixon—takes glee in kicking him. George turns around and seems oblivious to the "KICK ME" sign hooked on his collar. Doc shakes his head as Darleen whispers to the two, "I'm gonna kill that guy." She went to walk forward but was held back by Marty and Doc, "Maybe you're adopted." Doc says to Marty. A hand yanks George—it's Mr. Strickland—and he looks exactly the same. The two teens are amazed.

"Shape up, McFly!" He pulls the sign off of George's collar and shows it to him, "You're a slacker! Do you want to be a slacker for the rest of your life?" George shakes his head unconvincingly. Marty can't believe what he's seeing. "It's Strickland!" Marty exclaims, "And he still doesn't have hair." Darleen continues. They continue watching, "Looks like a match made in heaven." Doc says sarcastically—still not believing that George and Lorraine were Marty's parents. "My mom has always said that it was meant to be—I hope she's right." Marty takes a deep breath before he starts walking towards George—dragging Darleen behind him.

"George! Hey buddy—you're just the guy we wanted to see! You remember me? I'm the guy that saved your life." Marty says, "And I'm the girl that asked if you were okay." Darleen butts in. George looks at Marty—seeming to be purposefully avoiding Darleen's gaze. "Oh...yeah..." Darleen and Marty look at each other, "Listen—there's someone I want you to meet." Marty says, Darleen motions for George to follow them, "C'mere." She wraps her arm around his shoulders as she guides him towards Lorraine—Marty walking ahead of them.

They turn the corner down the hall where Lorraine is at her locker with her friends—Betty and Babs. "Excuse me, Lorraine.." Marty says making the girl turn around with delight, "Calvin! I mean, Marty!" Marty has a tight lipped smile on his face before he motions to George—who Darleen still has her arm around. "Lorraine—there's someone I want you to meet. This is my good friend—George McFly. George, this is Lorraine." George walks forward and leans against a locker—as if to come off as suave, yet he just wanted to impress Darleen, "Hi. It's really a pleasure to meet you."

Lorraine doesn't pay the slightest bit of attention to George—having only eyes for Marty. "Oh—Marty, I was so worried about you running off like that the other night," Darleen clears her throat, "Oh and of course you too Darleen. But—Marty—I was worried since you had that bruise on your head. Is it alright?" She goes to touch his forehead—but Marty quickly dodges it, "Uh—yeah." The bell rings, "I'm late, see you later." She hurries off down the hall with her friends—passing Doc as they did.

"Isn't he a dream?" She tells her girl friends. George has run off in the opposite direction. Marty and Darleen stand in the middle of the hall—bewildered with what happened. Doc joins them. "She didn't even look at him!" Marty exclaims, "This is more serious than I thought. Apparently—your mother is amorously infatuated with you instead of your father." Marty rubs his temples, hating—what was being explained. "And Darleen—you seem to somehow be making Marty's father fall for you." Darleen's brows furrowed, "What?!"

"You see, it's all about body language. He avoided eye contact, his face flushed when you were guiding him to Lorraine. And he was also always glancing at you whenever he was introducing himself to Lorraine. So, to sum it up—Marty's father has become infatuated with you." Darleen face palms, "So wait—let me get this straight. We went back in time? Just for your dad to end up having the hots for me and your mom having the hots for you?..." She said to Marty—her brows quirked in some sense of hope that it wasn't true.

"Yeah...this is pretty heavy." Doc furrows his brows, "There's that word again...heavy. Why are things in the future so heavy? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?" Marty looks at Doc, "Huh?" Avoiding what Marty said—Doc snaps his fingers—a new thought coming to him. "The only way those two are going to successfully mate is if they're alone together. So—you both have to arrange to get Marty's parents—your parents—to interact in some sort of social..."

Doc can't think of the word, "Date?" The two teens say in unison. "Right!" Doc exclaims, "What kind of date? We don't know what kid's do in the 50s." Marty says. "They're your parents. You must know them—their common interests? What do they like to do together?" Before Marty answers—Darleen answers for him, "Nothing!" Marty hits her shoulder, "Ow.." She mutters before hitting Marty back.
