A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

      Carina Algora. Top of her class in the Jedi Academy. she was best at handling a lightsaber and her connection with the force was just as mighty. She had her mentor to thank, Qui-Gon Jin. The man who found her on the lost streets of Daiyu, surviving only on what scraps she could scour from the wastes at such a young age. Qui-Gon sensed the young four year-old girl to be force sensitive the second he'd come across her, so he took small Carina back to Coruscant where she faced the council. Yoda and Mace Windu took the final vote of allowing the girl to fall into training after much disagreement.

Carina was a rare case for the council to take into thought. Qui-Gon was her mentor, though it was not common for a Jedi Master to take on two apprentices but the man had insisted on training the girl. Yoda was hesitant in the beginning seeing as having two padawan learners is strictly against the code but alas, agreed due to the fact that they believed none other was fit to train the young girl who came with a challenge.

Years later, Carina is now attempting to win a fight with Obi-Wan, seeing if she does so, Qui-Gon promised to take her on the next official mission they were to be given.

The brunette girl smirked smugly as she circled Obi-Wan, "You underestimate me."

Obi-Wan twirled his saber in his grasp before he responded, "I acknowledge how strong you are, but there is a great difference in age between us."

"Are you positive it's not merely because you do not wish for me to join you and Qui-Gon on your mission?" Carina raised a questioning brow.

The padawan let out a sigh, "You are too young, Carina. This mission is not for a nine year old padawan."

The girl pursed her lips, "Qui-Gon thinks otherwise. My skills can be of use." before Kenobi could get a response out, Carina pounced, slashing her ember saber straight at the male who reacted quickly, using his own saber to counter her attack.

"You cannot beat me." Obi-Wan gazed at the girl who held a challenging glint in her eyes, "I am going on that mission." Carina spun on her heel and she crouched down, swinging her foot too knock Kenobi off his feet and flat onto his back.

"You forget, I'm top of my class in combat."

Obi-Wan rolled his eyes before hopping back onto his feet, "Arrogance is not a good quality."

The Algora girl shrugged, "I'm simply stating facts, Obi." She attacked again, slicing her saber upwards as the padwan cut off her attack.

Carina smiled as an idea popped into her mind, she quickly shut off her saber before jabbing the end of it into Kenobi's abdomen.

Obi-Wan grunted in pain just as Carina used the same move she had before, she knocked the male off his feet to which he landed on the solid ground with a thud as the young girl turned her lightsaber back on, holding it dangerously close to Obi-Wan's neck.

"I win." she smirked down at him.

The doors of the training room opened and in stepped Qui-Gon who looked amused with the scene. "What have I told you about underestimating your opponents, Obi-Wan."

The padawan sighed, "It will not happen again, master."

Carina smiled sweetly in triumph, "So, when do we leave?"
