Maddie, Hattie and Valerie were all sitting in the back of the car Hobbs was driving as he was on a call with agent Dinkley who was a Air Marshal that they met on the plane ride. "Abracacabra, bitches! I told you I could get you anything. And listen to me. From Moscow to Samoa, that is not an easy flight to charter.
But I got it done!" Agent Dinkley said, causing Val to crack a smile.

"Well, that's why we're calling you, Dinkley.
We just wanna say thank you for gettin' us that bird to Samoa." Hobbs said, Maddie looked out the window and smiled, she really enjoyed Somoa as she had been there before. Valerie knew a lot of people in Somoa as well and even stayed there for a while whilst being hunted down but they helped her out.

"Warriors help out warriors. All you need to know... is that you got a third squaddie over here that is ready to go... whenever you need me to. I'm just sittin' in my lair." Right as he said that they could hear a toilet flush causing them to believe he was really just in the bathroom sitting on a toilet.

"You in a bathroom?" Hobbs asked, Maddie raised a brow at the weird conversation and looked at Valerie who simply shrugged. "Potato, potahto. Wherever I am is where the magic happens." He responded, Valerie leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Deck's cheek.
"We ain't got to get into specifics." Hobbs said, as Deck took Val' hand to press a kiss to.

"Just to make sure you got all the contacts. You got the-You got the cell. You got my-my email." He asked, Valerie chuckled lowkey and leaned her head on Deck's shoulder. "Got 'em all." Hobbs responded, Maddie leaned over and tried to grab the phone but Val raised the remote on show and Maddie rolled her eyes before sitting back down.

"You know, I'ma shoot you my mom number, too. I'ma make sure you got that, 'cause if you can't get me... she can. Yeah. I got a hotmail address that's still active, hit me on that. Linkedin. That's my profile." Dinkley rambled, Valerie groaned and grabbed the phone, "We're losin' ya." Deck said and then Valerie tossed the phone out of the window.

"That was my phone." Hobbs states, Valerie looked over at him with a sarcastic smile, "Good. I hope this brother of yours is as good a mechanic as you say he is." Valerie said bringing the topic back into track. "Jonah's the best mechanic I know. And he's gonna help us." Hobbs said confidently, "That is if he doesn't kill you first." Val smiled.

A few minutes later of driving did they finally arrive, Valerie and Maddie climbed out with Hattie and leaned on the car next to Deckard. Deckard pulled Valerie' back to his chest and wrapped his arms around her as Hobbs was standing at the doorstep conflicted.

"Yeah, take your time! Hey, it's only my sister's life and the fate of the world we're waitin' on!" Deckard shouted sarcastically. Valerie nudged him with a frown in which he replied by pecking her lips. "Ooh, here we go. Bet you two 50 quid he punches him in the face." Valerie said with a smirk, "Deal." They all replied, leaning back simultaneously to watch the interaction.

Hobbs finally took a breath and knocked on the door, once it opened he was faced with his brother. "Jonah."

"You know what comes next." He replied sternly, "Yup." Then Jonah punched Hobbs in the face causing Hobbs to stumble back and fall to the ground. "See? Not just me." Deckard said, Valerie chuckled as the rest of the family came out to see what the ruckus was all about.

"Your face is all over the bloody news, boy. You know what, come here police. You got a bloody cheek. Come here after 25 years. Bringing your problems here to this house. You betrayed our family. Bring shame on our house. You betrayed your own blood!" Jonah scolded angrily, Valerie visibly winced at the last statement.

"Jonah, I hear you. But we ain't kids anymore, you better watch how you talk to me." Hobbs said, Jonah scoffed, "It's not the size of a dog in a fight, boy. Size of the fight in a dog." He said, Valerie pursed her lips I mean he was right but it wasn't always like that. "No, it's always the size of the dog." Hobbs said.

"Hey! No fighting under this roof, eh!" An older women scolded as she walked out holding a chancla in her hand ready to hit someone. "Is that my Luke?" Her face and voice softened, "Oka! My baby's home." She awed, Hobbs cracked a small smile. "Hey, Mama."

"What are you doing standing outside? Come in, bring your friends." She waved over, Hobbs gesturing the group to follow and they all walked inside. Valerie' eyes widened and she smiled noticing her friend Mateo. "Val?" He asked in confusion, Valerie smiled and nodded running over and bringing him into a hug. "I knew this place looked familiar." She grinned, Deckard furrowed his brows at the two.

"How's the husband?" He asked, putting an arm around her shoulders. "He's actually right here. Deck, this is Mateo. Mateo this is my husband Deckard Shaw." She introduced, they then shook hands and Valerie smiled knowing Deckard was giving him a chance. "Mateo helped me a while back with the cops no questions." Val smiled, Mateo nodded and Deckard offered a nod in appreciation.

"Bout time someone swooped you off your feet." Mateo said, Valerie chuckled and called over Maddie who was playing with the bracelet, trying to get it off but it was impaled into her skin. "Maddie this Mateo. Mateo this is Maddie and she is very single." Valerie grinned, introducing her two friends, well just one as she heavily would deny that Maddie is her friend.

"You two should talk." Valerie smiled and walked off, putting her arm around Deckard as they walked inside. Maddie smiled blushed nervously when Mateo shook her hand gently and pressed a small kiss on her knuckles. "Do you always set your friends up?" Hattie asked, looking back at Mateo and Maddie who walked in together with smiles across their faces.

"When their hot and single, yes." Valerie replied smoothly.

"Well, look at you, all skin and bones. Come over here and eat." Hobbs mum said, Valerie didn't quite catch her name yet. Though in the corner of her eye she spotted Mateo and Maddie standing by each other, Maddie blushing wildly. "No, no, no, Mama, I just... There's no time. Look, I'm sorry, I didn't wanna bring trouble here."

"You shoulda stayed away." Jonah said, "What did you bring here? What's going on?"

"He brought the truth here." Valerie said, sticking up for Hobbs despite how much she hated it. "What truth?"

"The truth is we were set up. We were framed by the people who created the deadly virus. It could go global if it's not stopped.
We could all die, all of us. Everybody here on this fale, everybody on the island. Everybody around the world. Jonah, I need you to help fix this machine. I need you to help my friends.
And I need us to build defenses around here now."

"You think you can just come back in here, and we're gonna help you after everything you did?!" Jonah shouted at Hobbs angrily. Valerie wasn't curious as to why there was bad blood between the brothers because she already did her background check on Hobbs and knew he arrested his own father. "Yes!"

"Not gonna happen." Jonah denied.

"It's bigger than you and I!"

"I don't care!"

"It's bigger than you and I!"

"We could die!"

"Good! Because I would rather die than help you. Buddha head." Jonah shot back, Valerie rolled her eyes and sat down on the nearby stool. "Listen, I know your brother's hard to be around. Believe me. But I trust him. He brought us here because this place has something that nowhere else on the planet does. You." Deckard imputed, very annoyed by the arguing.

"You don't know me, I don't know you. Okay?
Time for you all to go. Take your machine with you. Go! Now!" Jonah argued, angrily gesturing them to leave. Valerie leaned back on the table and turned to see someone offer her a water causing her to politely take it with a smile.

"Jonah Hobbs! Have some respect for your uso. If he needs anything, we're gonna give it to him. The food off our tables, the clothes off our backs. Even the mana of the islands. And you boys... All you boys... You show our guests here... Or so help me God... I'm gonna take this here slipper... and I'm gonna sasa your big fat heads. You boys hear me?"

"I'm sorry to bring this here, Mama." Hobbs said, genuinely sorry. "Luke, this is your home.
We Samoans. We can handle troubles." She said.

Valerie was walking beside Hattie and Hobbs in the work shop whilst Maddie was talking to Mateo still. Valerie listened closely as Hobbs explained his story and why his brother hates him and to be completely honest she was on his side about it. He protected himself and brothers and family by putting his dad away, but running away from your problems is never a good thing to do.

"Yeah. 100% clean now. Custom shop, international clients. See those bikes going Tokyo, Macau, New York. That one over there's going London. Turns out people like our stuff.
I needed to do something to hold our family together. After you abandoned us." Jonah said, Valerie couldn't help but wince at the word 'Tokyo' knowing how much Han loved that place.

"Hey, good news, change of clothes. Hatts." Deckard walked over, passing Hattie a change of clothes along with some clothes for Valerie. Deckard tossed some over to Maddie who caught them without looking up, as she kept her eyes on Mateo. "Hey, your mum said you might like to wear this. Must be your favorite size. Spray on." Deck tossed some to Hobbs but not without throwing an insult at him.

"Won't you throw another jacket on, it's 110 degrees out there." Hobbs shot back, Valerie rolled her eyes at their childishness. "Hey, look, down to business. Got any weapons?" Deck asked, "Oh, we got weapons." Hobbs responded. Valerie and Hattie went to a room to change before meeting back up with the boys where the weapons were supposedly supposed to be.

Hobbs pulled open a hidden door thing to reveal a bunch of old Samoan artifact weapons.
"Mama, where's all our guns?" Hobbs asked.

"I get rid of 'em." She responded.

"Very noble, Mrs. Hobbs," Deck said, then leaned over and whispered to Val, "We're in serious trouble." Valerie raised her brows in agreement, "That is an understatement." She whispered back subtlety.

"These guns. They kill all my family. So we're gonna fight. We're gonna fight with this." She held up her fist, "We're gonna fight with this." She placed to fingers over her heart. "Cause no take a real man for pull one trigga." She announced.

"All right, we're going to war with the family heirlooms. Got it. We're gonna need a lot more.
We're never gonna survive their firepower." Hobbs said, Valerie and Deckard shared looks and nodded. "Doesn't take a man to pull a trigger. For Eteon, it does take an activation chip. You still got that glove?" Deckard asked Hattie, who looked over, catching on to what he and Valerie were thinking.

"Are you thinking closed system hack?" She asked. "Level the playing field if you can. Surely buy us some time. Shut their guns down." Valerie responded, Hattie smirked and nodded, "I'm on it." She said, then they all went over the plan.
