Valerie was sitting down on the porch, Hattie and Deckard didn't want her doing any of the heavy lifting so she finally just listened and agreed. Maddie sighed and walked over, taking a seat beside her former friend. "Can I ask one thing of you? I just need to know the truth. What really happened that day?" Valerie sighed and looked over to her former best friend.
"The guy who was paying us was going to double cross us and turn us in. So I had to make him think you were dead, so you could get away. I started the fire, and left open the back door for you to escape." Valerie explained, looking away and at the sunset, "They took me in but I still managed to escape, I didn't care as long as they didn't get you. I knew where you were the whole time, staying at one of my safe houses. I acted shocked to hear you were alive because I didn't want anyone to find you."
"So all this time you knew I was alive and you were protecting me?" Maddie asked, connecting all the dots in her head. The times suddenly the alarm went off and then randomly stopped and it looked as if nobody was there. The times Maddie could feel someone watching her but she turned around and nobody was there.
"What can I say? I couldn't lose another friend, I didn't have it in me. Especially after Han." Valerie whispered the last part to herself, everyday she thought about Han. He was the one person in the world who truly understood her besides Deckard. She still couldn't believe he wasn't alive to at least see her get married. What hurt more was that she married the man who killed him.
"Wait what? Han's dead?" Maddie breathed out, covering her mouth in shock. Maddie could never understand why Valerie even dated Han but later on she understood and knew they had a really close bond that could never compare to hers and Valerie'. "Yeah, but he's in a better place." Valerie said, wiping a tear quickly before anyone could see.
Maddie sighed and fiddled with the bracelet around her wrist causing Valerie to sigh and look over. Valerie pulled out the remote and unlocked the bracelet, Maddie furrowed her brows and winced as Val pulled off the bracelet. She ripped off a piece of her shirt and wrapped it around Maddie' bleeding wrist.
"You don't have to stay here to fight. But something tells me you will." Valerie smiled, looking over at Mateo who was already looking at Maddie with a fond look in his eyes. Maddie blushed and looked down, "Thank you." She said, Valerie offered a nod and stood up, walking towards where Deckard and Hattie were.
"Give us the good news, Hatt." Valerie spoke, coming behind Hattie who was kneeled down next to a computer. "I'm in. Only thing is, not gonna be broadcasting a signal off to some satellite for six minutes." Hattie responded,
"Six minutes might be all the time we need. Better than a sharp stick in the eye." Deckard said.
"Which is basically all we've got to fight them with anyway." Valerie agreed with her husband.

"Jonah?" Hobbs asked impatiently, they were waiting for Jonah to finish the machine as Brixton would be there any minute. "Don't rush me." He snapped at his brother in frustration, "It's almost dawn. He'll be here soon. Make it happen now. Now!" Hobbs snapped back, Valerie licked her lips and crossed her arms over her chest impatiently.
"Hey, hey, hey. Don't rush me. That's how mistakes are made." Jonah said, not looking away from his work. Valerie glanced at Maddie who was next to Mateo as he had an arm around her waist, for the first time in a while she was happy. "And how long does this process take?" Valerie asked, getting herself back into the main topic.
"It's 30 minutes, and 33 till I go viral. Look, Deck, Val, I think we need to seriously consider option one." Hattie said, Valerie shook her head not excepting that option. "Don't strike a match just yet, Hatts." Deckard said, Valerie bit her lip and fiddled with her rings impatiently.
"We are seriously gonna miss this window. Let's do this, come on!" Valerie pushed, Hobbs could see she was about to kill someone so he said something, "Jonah, now!"
"Fine! Fine! Okay. Here goes... nothing." Jonah mumbled, setting up the injection thing around Hattie's forearm. "Brace yourself, Hatts." Valerie mumbled, "It ain't gonna be pleasant." Hobbs added.
"No, it's gonna be fine." Hattie said positively before the machine started, puncturing her skin harshly, "God!" Hattie groaned at the sudden sharp pain. "It's working! It's working!
Yeah!" Everyone cheered though Valerie had a feeling this wasn't over. They were coming. "Hey, triggered the alarm." Valerie looked up when someone announced it, immediately she pulled out her gun and prepared it. "That's him." Hobbs said.
"As we planned?" Deck asked, Hobbs nodded, "As we planned." He agreed. Valerie went to walk out until Deck grabbed her arm and sent her a look, the look that said he didn't want her to fight. "I'm going out there and fighting with or without your approval. This is what we do, this is my life and I've accepted it long ago. No pregnancy will change that right now." Valerie said, Deckard sighed and gently pulled her body to his by her waist. "Just...be careful. I'd like my pregnant wife to come home with me."
Valerie smiled softly and pressed a small peck to his lips, "I love you." She whispered, before pulling away and walking off without another word. "Usos! It's time." Valerie met up with Maddie who was telling Mateo to be safe or she'd kill him. "Let's go. I need you." Val said, Maddie nodded and sent a look to Mateo before following Valerie to the back of the garage. Valerie popped open a panel thing on the wall to reveal an AK- 47 and two more guns with some arrows and a bow.
"Here, you use this and if you get one shot at anyone then you shoot. You shoot to kill, got it?" Val said, handing her the gun that Maddie took with a smirk. "That's what I do best. Hey!" Maddie shouted as Val turned to walk away, Val paused and turned around, "Don't die." Maddie said, Val winked and walked off, her two guns in her pants and some arrows strapped across her with her bow in her hand. Valerie heard Hobbs family chanting in Samoan but paid no mind as she walked over to where Deckard was in the car that would start the line of fire to trap in all the bad guys basically.
"Baby come here," Deckard gestured her over before she could sit on the door through the window. "What's up?" Valerie asked, leaning down to look at him. He didn't say anything except pull her down for a sweet chaste kiss. They pulled away and Valerie smirked, "I'm not gonna die you can kiss me later," Valerie chuckled, walking around the car and sliding her body halfway through the window as she stood up with the help of the seat and Deckard making sure she wouldn't fall. Deckard fired up the vehicle he drove around the circle of lighting fluid on the ground, lighting it up from the fire coming out oc the pipe all as Valerie shot her arrows at the bad guys, not missing.
"Hold on tight love!" Deck warned, drifting swiftly as Valerie held on tightly to the roof. Deckard hopped out and Valerie climbed on top of the roof trying to spot out Brixton as Deckard joined the fight with a crowbar in hand.
"Where are you Brixton?" Valerie mumbled to herself, finally spotting Brixton but he was already looking at her.
"Put the bow down Val," Brix mumbled to himself knowing Valerie never missed her shot. Valerie smirked before letting the string go, the arrow fired towards him and Brixton managed to roll out of the way. "You missed!" He shouted, Valerie laughed to herself, "No I didn't." The arrow blew up, sending Brixton flying into three of his men, knocking them all down and she smirked.
Everyone continued to fight for hours until the sun was coming up and Valerie spotted a helicopter coming. "Maddie!" Valerie called, Maddie looked over and Valerie tossed Maddie one of her guns. "Switch!" Maddie nodded and tossed Val her AK- 47.
Valerie pointed it at the copter and fired but they seen her and fired back, getting her just in the shoulder and she groaned before losing her balance and falling off the car but into the arms of Mateo who moved to catch her when he seen her in get shot. "You okay?" He asked, gently setting her back on her feet. "Yeah I'll be alright," Valerie reassured, he nodded and went back to the fight.
Valerie ignored the pain in her shoulder and climbed back on top of the car. Valerie furrowed her brows at the huge explosion where Hattie and Deckard were supposed to be. Looking around she let out a breath of relief seeing that Deckard and Hattie got away safely.
"No!" Valerie jumped off the car and ran through the war, all the Samoans protecting her as she ran towards the helicopter. Two men had hopped out and walked towards a dazed Hattie, dizzy and light headed from the ejection machine on her arm. Hattie turned around to get away but Brixton grabbed onto her throat, stopping her. Hattie spit at Brixton but he simply wiped it off and threw Hattie into the bad men's arms, letting them pull her into the helicopter.
Valerie ran and immediately tackled down Brixton, "Valerie! No!" Maddie screamed as Valerie held a gun to Brixton's head and went to shoot only two of his men kicked her off of him, sending her tumbling down the hill unable to save her sister in law. "Grab her! I want her alive!" Brixton ordered, that was until he spotted Maddie running over to Valerie with a gun in hand, shooting Brixton but they didn't go through his bulletproof vest.
"Stand down! I'll get her later!" Brixton said, walking back to the copter. Valerie groaned as Maddie helped her to her feet, "Deckard!" Valerie called, he looked towards her and she pointed over to the helicopter where they captured Hattie. "Hobbs!" Deckard called, he looked to where Hattie was and nodded, understanding the plan.
Deckard ran over to Valerie and immediately looked at her bullet wound, "I'm fine it's not serious. We need to get Hattie. Maddie I want you to stay down here and keep fighting but stay on guard," Valerie ordered and Maddie nodded, running off to join the fight again, shooting anyone who even attempted anything on Mateo.
"You get shot one more time and you're done. No more fightin," Deck stated firmly and Valerie rolled her eyes before running back to the car with him following behind, still not happy about her stubbornness.
Valerie hopped in the truck and Deckard took off towards the helicopter as Hobbs had ran and jumped on the back of the truck changed into new clothes. Valerie slid out through the window and jumped onto the back with Hobbs help. "You okay?" Hobbs asked, worried about her bullet wound. "I'm fine," Val stated.
Hobbs swung the chain and hooked it onto the wing of the chopper as Deck drove the truck off a hill. "Welcome to my island, you-"
"Take it up!" Brixton ordered the pilots. Deckard accelerated, the truck dragging the chopper as it drove on the dirt road. Valerie ripped two pieces of her shirt and wrapped them around her hands. "You get us close and I'll get him!" Hobbs told Deckard.
"I'll keep his nose down, you reel him in!"
Hobbs loosened the chain a bit before Valerie pressed the red button and it began to forcefully pull the chain back. Valerie raised her brows seeing a guy fall from the chopper and she knew it was courtesy of Brixton. The chopper flew up more, trying to get Hobbs and the Shaw's off his back. Two of Eteon's cars drove close behind, then more joined. Valerie held onto the chain tightly as the truck was lifted from the ground.
Jonah drove up, Mateo and Maddie in the back, and got in front of Deck. "Let's go, Jonah!" Mateo hooked on the two cable to the axels like Deckard instructed and Maddie looked at Valerie in concern. "Val! Go with Maddie!" Deck ordered, not giving room for any argument.
Valerie sighed and went to climb onto the roof but the cars raised higher, causing Hobbs to pull her back. Timo drove up, and hooked his cables onto Jonah's car. But Brixton only raised the chopper higher. "We're gonna need more weight!" Valerie exclaimed. Already beginning to feel sick from being so high in the air.
Another one of Hobbs family, drove up and hooked his car onto Timo's. "Hell yeah, usos!" Hobbs said.
Only Brixton turned and tried pulling all the cars off the ledge of the cliff. Valerie held onto the truck tightly and suddenly remembered the NOS they put in the cars. "Hit 'em with the moonshine!" Valerie shouted. The driver up front nodded and hit the NOS button. The cars began to gain weight back onto the road and Timo then hit his NOS button, dragging the chopper back forcefully. Jonah was next to hit his NOS.
Valerie slipped back into the car when it finally got back onto the road. "Hang me off a cliff, huh? My turn." Deckard spoke to himself before flipping the switch and hitting the NOS button. Valerie grabbed her gun and shot at the chopper, only Deckard pulled her back in right before they shot a small rocket and it exploded. Hobbs cousin's drove off to the side just in time but unfortunately this left Hobbs and the Shaw's by themselves.
"We got a little trouble back here, Shaw!"
"Approaching, no man's land!"
They drove on the road and the bombs/rockets, whatever you wanna call them, exploded as the cars behind them ran them over and some almost hit the helicopter. "All now, hit that stake!" Hobbs told. Deckard swerved around the bombs and ran into the stake in the ground that made a barrier come up and the cars behind them crashed into them and exploded. The helicopter barely managed to swerve out of the way.
Valerie looked behind her as the chain was breaking so Hobbs grabbed onto it and onto the truck, holding the helicopter with his strength. "Holy shit," Valerie mumbled in shock.
"I gotcha Hobbs." Deck said, pressing on the brake a bit so Hobbs could attach the chain back to the truck. Valerie furrowed her brows as she noticed the helicopter start to let out the dangerous black smoke. Hattie was inside fighting off the two Eteon men.
Deck drifted around the curve of the hill and Hobbs noticed Hattie inside the chopper. "Hobbs!" Hattie called.
"Hattie! Jump!" Hattie went to jump but was suddenly forcefully thrown back as the chopper lost it's power. Valerie strapped on her seatbelt as the helicopter went down, dragging down the truck in the process. Hobbs jumped off landing into the water. Valerie fell unconscious as she hit her head against the roof, causing blood to drip down her forehead.
Deckard swam out and swam to the other side, trying to pull the door open on Valerie's side. Hobbs swam over and they both grabbed onto the door and pulled it off together. Deckard pulled off the seatbelt and pulled Valerie out, bringing her to the surface. Deck set Valerie onto the land, making sure she was breathing before climbing out of the water. "Hang it there, Val," Deck pressed a kiss to her head before standing up.
"Hattie!" Hobbs called but got no response.
Brixton climbed onto the helicopter, looking at the two men. "This is doesn't end your way, boys!"
"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that." Deck shot back.
"Nah, the numbers don't add up for you. The evolution of a man is coming whether you like it or not." Brixton said, jumping off and onto the dirt. He glanced at the unconscious Valerie, unsure if she was dead or alive.
"You know, I almost feel bad for you. It's not the smell that fills your head with." Deck started, "It's bullshit!" Hobbs finished.
"I was beginnin' to like you two, you know that? Considering on lettin' you keep that precious woman right there! Oh well," Brixton's eyes lit up yellow like a machine and Hobbs charged forward first.
Minutes later, Deckard and Hobbs had the upper hand, giving a beating to Brixton by finally working together. Valerie stirred, immediately spitting out some water and sitting up. She groaned at the pain in her shoulder but as she noticed the seen a few feet away, she shook it off and got to her feet.
"Here comes the Kryptonite," Hobbs said, delivering a German Suplex to Brixton onto the black stone. Valerie made her way over, giving Deckard a reassuring look. He leaned down and grabbed a gun, using the glove to activate it.
Hattie made her way over tiredly and soaking wet by the rain as they all were. Hattie smiled and held up the glass container containing the virus, "I got it."
"You did it, Hatt," Deck said.
"Never had a doubt," Hobbs added. "Let's get it into safe hands."
"Alright, let's take care of business first," Val spoke up, getting back on track and gesturing to Brixton.
Deck walked up, aiming the gun at Brixton. "You set me up as a traitor. Turned my own sister against me. Tried to kill my wife! Forced me to kill my own brother! You!" Deckard shouted over the heavy rain.
"And here we are again. Come on!" Brixton retorted. "Shaw, come back to the cause. One life doesn't mean anything."
"I don't know what happened to you, Brixton. But you made me kill you once. I ain't doin' it again." Deckard dropped the gun into the black sand and Val raised a brow. She for a fact, would've done it without hesitation. She hesitated last time, that cost her a lot, she wasn't gonna do that again.
"Brother, you may believe in machines...but we believe in people. You may have all the technology in the world. We have heart. No machine will ever beat that." Hobbs spoke as Brixton brought himself on his feet so he stood a few feet away from Valerie.
"That's how it is. It's a hell of a business, boys." Brixton spoke, but Valerie knew it was directed at Eteon.
"If you won't do it, I will." Valerie grabbed the gun and shot Brixton in the head without hesitation. Val kicked him back with disgust and he fell off the cliff, into the heavy depths of the ocean. "That's for my kid, you asshole." Val scoffed, tossing the gun into the water as well.
Noises from the helicopter made them all turn their attention over. A voice spoke from the machine. "Brixton never really lived up to our expectations. But you four...you outperformed you analytics. You don't remember me, do you, Hobbs? How about you, Mrs. Santina? Hmm? You will. It's gonna be a hell of a reunion." The voice of Eteon spoke. Valerie could hear some familiarity but couldn't identify who it was.
"You're on our radar now."
"And you're on ours," Hobbs and Valerie spoke in unison. The helicopter shut down and Val sighed in relief. "I won't ever be able to retire," Val shook her head and Deckard smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Hey, thanks for being my sidekick through this whole thing, brother," Luke said. "You were great."
Val raised her brows knowing Deck was not gonna like being called a sidekick. "How 'bout I sidekick that stupid look on your face?" And she was right.
"Yeah? How 'bout you show me right now?" Hobbs shot back. Both of them went to get into each other's face and Valerie backed out of the way. "Okay, guys...let's go home," Hattie put her arms around them so they couldn't start fighting.
"Alright, yeah," the two men agreed and Hattie smiled in relief.
"Uh, hello? I have a bullet in my shoulder, a baby in stomach and I almost drowned. Can a girl get a little help around here?" Valerie spoke up, breathing heavily as she leaned against a rock.
"Oh right." Deckard walked over to his wife and pulled her up, letting her put her arm around him to support herself.
"Have you both talked baby names?" Hobbs asked, his arm wrapped around Hattie.
"No, haven't had much time to talk about anything really. Got any ideas?" Val asked, holding her bad arm against her stomach.
"Luke is good one," Hobbs suggested.
"No way in hell." Deck objected and they all shared a laugh.
