[The party & the after party] - [The weekend]

In the dimly lit living room, Jay wrestled with the heater, hoping to bring warmth into the room. However, his efforts were met with an unexpected buzz, causing him to let out an audible "ouch."

Sora, quick to react, rushed to his side, concern etched across her face. "Are you okay?" she asked, gently holding his injured finger.

Suddenly, the room plunged into darkness as the electricity gave out. A startled yelp escaped Sora as she grappled with the sudden loss of light. Jay, unfazed, explained, "Fuses are blown. There's a box outside; I'll go check and come back."

Sora, not willing to be left alone in the darkness, blocked Jay's path and insisted, "Where the hell are you going? Take me with you."

Jay's eyes widened  as he glanced towards the window, his gasp was loud. Chills crept up Sora's spine as she anxiously exclaimed, "What? I don't see anything! Where? Where is it?" Jay, unable to contain his laughter, reassured her, "I was just joking. Look, there's nothing." She shot him a side-eye.

Finally reaching the backdoor, Jay swiftly opened the fuse box, only to retreat abruptly. "Sora! It's burning!"

"Burning? What do we do?"

"Get me the fire extinguisher!"

"Where is it?"

"There!"

"Where?"

"Behind you!"

"WHERE? I can't see; it's dark. Ah, never mind, I got it."

She fumbled for the fire extinguisher and, unaware of her surroundings, began spraying it. To her surprise, she was not aiming at the burning box but at Jay.

"Mr. Park? Where are you?" she called out, scanning the area, but he was nowhere to be found. "I'm all alone here."

A loud cough followed, and Jay emerged from the shadows. "Oh, you're here. I'm sorry," she chuckled at the sight of the snowy figure in front of her.

Going inside, he started rummaging through clothes. "I don't think you'll find anything that'll fit me here."

"Here are my mom's clothes." Luckily for her, his mom's clothes were not a bigger size than hers. She looked up and burst into laughter, but Jay glared at her. "Sorry, Mr. Snowman."

After changing into her new clothes, she went to the living room, drying her hair with a towel. "Jay?"

"Sora, I'm here."

She looked at him coming from the kitchen with two cups in hand and a bottle of wine. "This is James Park's fancy collection, Screaming Eagle Cabernet 1992."

Taking their cups, they sat down on the carpet in front of the fire.

"Come on, puppy, let's play 21 questions."

"Puppy?"

"You remind me of a dog."

He was about to ask another question, but she cut him off. "Nu uh, it's my turn."

"But that wasn't a question."

"My turnnnn. So, you're a celebrity. Did you ever use this celebrity privilege to get what you wanted?"

"Now, this is a good question." They both chuckled together. "But look, Sora, this always happens. For example, you'd go to a venue, it's overcrowded, but then they'd see you, and they'd be like, 'Oh, Mr. Park, come here, we won't tire you.' Then they'd get you a table. I did this a few times, I can't lie."

"Now my turn to ask you, why do you hate the smell of cigarettes?"

"Oh, you're really curious. Actually, my father used to always smoke, and that eventually led to his chest crumbling. We thought we were going to lose him, but it's all good now."

"Me now, did you ever sleep with a celebrity?". Sora added

"With a few women, but not a celebrity. I actually went out on a date with Kim Minju, but I got bored...You know, you're the only woman that lingered on for so long in my thoughts. So, Sora, let me ask you, did you ever fall in love?"

"I don't know. With Felix, it wasn't really love now that I look at it, and for now, I don't know my feelings. I've never been honest about them, always teaching people how to express their emotions but never applying the same to myself."

"I don't like your answer, drink!"

"That's unfair." She gulped down her wine and added, "Now my turn. What about you, Mr. Park? Did you ever fall in love?"

"I never did, but I am in love right now."

The tension in the room had risen, and it had suddenly gotten hotter. Sora stood up abruptly, saying, "I need to get a cold drink."

"You don't know where the kitchen is; I'll get it for you."

Wanting to slow down her heartbeats, she got up and looked for a fan, rummaging through the drawers. She suddenly stopped upon seeing Jay's childhood pictures. She chuckled at his baby face, but then another picture caught her attention. It was Jay with another boy. She knew it wasn't his father because this boy was young, and she remembered Jay being an only child. How come this boy looked like him?

Her train of thought was interrupted as she felt Jay behind her, her back hitting his chest.

"Here's your water."

She turned around to drink it, but as she was drinking, she was trapped between the bookshelves. She wanted to drink the water to ease her burning cheeks, but Jay wasn't allowing her to do so. He inched closer to her ear, "You know, it's been a while since we last did it. I'm starting to miss your scent."

"It's just the alcohol."

Jay was already kissing her; her back hit the wall lightly, and she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

"Are you...always this active?" Sora asked when she leaned back and saw his flushed face and eyes half-lidded.

"I'm a healthy man, you see." He moved closer and pressed on her before he leaned in to whisper. "Very healthy."

"I can see that," she said, eyes traveling down on the bulge in his pants. "Like a dog."

She just said that half out of jest and half out of association. And her face contained the upturn of the side of her lips in an expression that looks almost sultry.

"Did you just compare me to a dog again, Sora?" he asked, taking her chin so she wouldn't tear your gaze off him. "Then do you want me to do you like a dog?"

"You're not a dog, Ja—" she was suddenly cut off when he hoisted her up his shoulder, and she tried to wriggle out of his hold, her stomach pressing on his muscle, and it wasn't exactly the most comfortable way to be carried up in the hallway until he entered a bedroom and finally laid her down on the bed.

But before she could protest, he moved her around so she was facing the headboard, and Jay propped his arms on it while he's right behind her.

"Ah, that reminds me," he said. "Last time when I asked you how it was, you said it was just good. I was being soft on you because it was your first time, now it wasn't your first time anymore."

She couldn't exactly turn around to face or look at his expression, but she could tell by the sound of his voice that he was smirking.

"Sora," he started, cupping her face, his thumb parting her lips open as he pressed it between her teeth. "Bite me as hard as you can."

"I'm not a wolf dog," she said.

"Just do it, leave a mark on your man."

"Why?"

His thumb brushed her lower lip, eyes glancing down, and it took him a lot to stop himself from crushing his lips on hers before he looked back into her eyes. "So everyone will know to whom I belong to."

He doesn't belong to anyone, except to her.

"So you want me to put a leash on you?" she asked, her voice holding a challenging tone before she leaned down and left her mark on him.

She didn't know how to do it properly, so she thought it might have hurt. When she leaned back, she saw the love bite starting to redden.

"Is that enough?" Sora asked.

"Why? You want more?" The side of Jay's lips turned up in a smirk. "Are you being greedy now?"

She didn't say anything; she couldn't retort back, so Jay continued.

"My body's all yours," he said before he leaned in close to her. "As much as your body's all mine."

Because after all, this relationship was a mere physical one.
