When the bus dropped them off in front of the massive Choon Ang Private Academy, You excitedly linked arms with your best friend Ki Giyeong, since middle school. They were giddy about graduating from Y3 in a week or two. They were high achievers who were advanced to graduate early.

They can't wait to begin their young adult journey. Giyeong wants to study forensic science, while you want to be a journalist. But not for celebrities or these sleazy newspapers that prey on poor celebrities. You want to be a political journalist. Your ambition is to work for a prestigious newspaper, such as the KOREAN TIMES or the KOREAN HERALD, and you have promised yourself that you will work extra hard to achieve this goal and to get into the top SKY -universities.

Giyeong grins as she looks down at your bright face, "Are you ready for an awesome day. I had to hand in my science experiment project. Gosh, I hope I aced that project. An A- is not an object." she signs dejectedly until she notices the most popular dance group from the school standing near the entrance of the hallway.

Your heart began to race involuntarily. Why are you so enamored with this boy? You've had a crush on him for a long time, and it doesn't seem to be going away. Giyeon was aware of your feelings, and she can tease you mercilessly.

"Stop staring at them like a creep! " You whispered -yelled next to her.

"Ugh, common Yuri, it's so cute how you both liked each other, but you're too cowardly to confess your feelings to each other; he likes you, too; just stop being so Stoney in his presence; smile and wave a little when he looks at you," she smirked. Her eyes beamed at your cool ones.

You look at her with a deadpan expression, "Are you crazy? ...you know my cousin is hopelessly in love with him. She'll kill me if she finds out I like him. I'd rather die than confess. I'm not even sure what his true feelings for me are."

She gave an incredulous look "Oh, he's always smiling at you. He helped you up when you almost tripped over the textbooks. When we went on that field trip to the palaces, he picked you up when you were struggling with your bag."

You kept her quiet "Okay, that's enough info. Let's get ready for class." it doesn't convince you even.

Just then, you noticed Mi-cha and her two equally idiot friends walking around with swaying hips and their school skirts way up, which was against school rules. Mi-cha and her friends greeted everyone. They are known as Neutronix. The school's most famous street dance crew, who won numerous awards at events and you heard a rumor that they might be signed as a back-up dance group for a famous idol, you were sighing as you aw Mi-cha attempting to speak to a cool and collected Hoseok.

Yes, Jung Hoseok. The boy of your dreams and, unfortunately, the object of your cousin's obsession. He was friendly and nodded as she spoke candidly with him. Yoongi, one of the boys, is both cold and hot. You'd always catch him staring at you with interest in his eyes.

His stoic demeanor made you nervous. The look is calculating rather than romantic. Maybe he realized that his friend is not immune to you. You wish you dared to speak with Hobi-his Hyungs' affectionate nickname for him.

As you drag your friend to class, you sigh. You are from Class 2, while Neutronix was from Class 1. Mi-Cha and her friends are all in Class 3, based on your academic performance. That will make you smile. You won't be able to concentrate in class with Hobi present. He's so adorable! Namjoon, their friend, has a crush on Giyeon...but she isn't interested in him. He likes her, but she turns down his advances. You felt bad for Namjoon for falling in love with your pink-haired best friend. She was sassy, with multiple piercings in her ears and a nosering. You are too afraid to get your nose pierced in front of your mother. At the very least, you can put on earrings.

Giyeong simply smirked smugly in your blushing face as she was dragged to class, unaware of Hobi's lingering gaze on your movement. They had a deep desire to just get you close enough to talk to him.

But you're so introverted and aloof. But he hopes to get his chance with you one day. Her obnoxious cousin Mi-cha, on the other hand, is a pain in his butt. He doesn't remember how many times he rejected her, but she seemed to be pushed harder to win his affection, much to the great annoyance of Yoongi and the two younger members of their group, Taehyung and Jimin, who were still in year Y1.

When the bell rang, the boys walked together to class, trailed by adoring girls who were jubilant and full of giggles. Yoongi's expression was glum as he looked at the fangirls. Jimin and Taehyung relish the attention and enjoy conversing with the older girls.

Yoongi dragged Hobi away from the obnoxious fangirls.

Yoongi observes a quiet Hobi, who looked deep in thought, "So much emotional pain...and angst... are you going to talk to her in this lifetime? Jeez. You've had feelings for this girl since she started high school. Ask her out already, gosh! Every time I see you two staring at each other with deep longing, I get a migraine."

"Easy for you to say..." snorts Hoseok as he shoves Yoongi's shoulder, "Yoongs, I don't want to mess it up. She is stunning. Her flawless skin, rosy cheeks, and--"

"Yeah, too much information for an uninterested ear...Simply ask her out for a kimchi meal or ice cream, Hobi! We'll be done with school in two weeks. We'll be graduating, and someone else will be able to do what you're afraid of." He says flatly, interrupting Hobi's admiration rant.

Hobi looked at him with narrowed eyes, "Yoongi...you...you not interested in her also, huh. That will be so...not on! You always stare at her," he says tensely.

"She just reminded me of someone, that's all," Yoongi said mockingly, "I will never pin after a girl that my friend likes; I have no interest in the Choon Ang School girls; you know where my heart is--music!"

"Don't worry," Hobi says cheerfully, "one of these days I'll ask her out. You'll see."

"That remains to be seen; Hobi, you have been betrothed to one of your father's business partners' daughters since you were ten years old, and Chaebol families are notoriously difficult to please. Money marries money. Ask me; that rebels against my fate every day. Why do you think I don't want to date? I told my family that I'm married to dance and music. I'm not going to marry that little firecracker they tried to set me up with." He says with disgust as he looks at his best friend's defeated expression.

Hoseok, despite being the youngest son, comes from one of Korea's richest dynasties. His parents are still concerned that he might not marry into the proper pedigree family. A spoiled heiress already bears his name. Hoseok merely sighs deeply at his future fate, but he is adamant about changing it to suit his desires.

He smiles "Well, this Jung isn't going to let anyone tell him who he should love. I will make my destiny...pass my finals...graduate...get signed...move to Seoul...and hopefully get and marry the girl I have had my eye on for years." He names them one by one, lifting his fingers as he counts the list down. He smirked inwardly. When he tells his family about his plans, they will be shocked.

Yoongi simply shoved his shoulder as they walked together to their first class, laughing and bickering, followed by the younger members of the crew. Two cute girls were linking arms with the two maknaes. Yoongi just shook his head and stared at them.

You love your front-row seat near the window. The view always mystifies you, and sometimes you get lost in it as your young heart yearns for somewhere other than where you are.

As one of the class leaders handed you the class night school study schedule, you sighed deeply. You take it quietly, your gaze fixed on the occupied blocks with your subjects.

5 p.m.-6 p.m. English (You love the language)

6 p.m.-7 p.m. History of Korea

You can study at home. But tell your mother. She only wants the best for you.

You took out your colored markers and colored in your subjects so that you didn't miss any. Giyeon sat behind you, her face resting tiredly on her palm. She despises Korean history, as well as world history. She always wonders why she has to learn about dead people.

Yuri recounts her life with her mother with melancholy. Her poor mother's circumstance was difficult. Her mother had a one-night stand with a famous idol when she was eighteen, but the media branded her as a gold digger and social climber. Your mother was so naive and idealistic. with stars in her eyes. She became an "it" girl after losing her parents at a young age. She was very beautiful, and she and her friends enjoyed being kpop groupies and excited fans, following their idols around locally. She had to fend for herself when she became pregnant and disillusioned with life and love in general.

They were scammed from the house where she lived. She stayed with her blind grandmother, who died of a silent heart attack a few months later. She didn't know where to go. She had a six-month-old baby girl when she became a wanderer among family members who verbally abused her mother. She had to put up with a lot of physical exertion while working for family and friends for next to nothing as a maid. She was satisfied as long as she and her baby had a roof over their heads and food to eat. Some of your family members wanted to adopt you and told your mother to go live her life, but your mother couldn't leave you with your family and travel all over with you. You were her life. She will never abandon you.

Until your mother's cousin found out about your mother's condition. Your uncle returned from Tokyo after learning about your mother's miserable living conditions from his parents. When they were younger, he and your mother were very close because your grandmother watched over them both. They loved each other.

Since that glorious day, your married uncle Jong Hyun-woo has taken in your mother and her child. He was married to Dallia, who had a daughter from a previous relationship. Your uncle was childless. So he thought his new stepdaughter could have a new sister. Mi-cha was a year older. Your uncle made sure you and your mother were comfortable in the roof-top two-bedroom house. He has paid for your private school education since you were in nursery school. He loves you as if you were his child. But he was aware of the underlying tension between you and Mi-cha as well.

You and Mi-cha had a great relationship until you both started elementary school and you became the object of affection for the majority of the children in your class. Because you were too beautiful, jealousy and unwarranted rivalry ensued. When you reach middle school, Mi- cha's hatred has become more obvious, and she uses it to bully you and make you her maid. His mother became envious of your mother and made you clean up after them, just like your mother.

Even if your mother initially offered to be a housekeeper, she gradually turned into an abused maid. At the very least, your uncle paid her and she was able to buy you things. But as you grew older and wiser, you advised your mother not to waste her money on you. Aunt Dallia even let you have Micha's old clothes, which you took and because it was designerwear. You wore it with flair. But later on, Mi-cha saw how well you look and became more envious, so she would offer her clothes to an orphanage instead and give you her cheaper and not so nice looking clothing items. You were grateful because like they say "beggars can't be choosers."It saves your mother from having to go out and buy you extra clothes. Mi-cha, on the other hand, only wears the clothes for the season and then discards them. To the charity case, as she refers to you-her trashcan.

You secretly eavesdropped on your Aunt Dallia several times when you were eight years old, mocking your mother for trying to baby trap an idol with some junkies'child she probably met when she was a drunk, morally loose teen. You don't know who your father is, and the rumor affected you so much that you became a shameful child. Your aunt and cousin made sure you never forgot about your past. It was too painful for your mother to reveal or discuss your father. You despised him for what he had done to your mother. He destroyed her joy and turned her into a quiet, woman. That day you'd eavesdropped and when you heard a name drop, you went on Naver to look for the idol named -Min Jeamin. In his twenties, he was incredibly attractive.

In his late thirties, he was a well-known and truly attractive idol. He previously married a famous actress, but they divorced after four years of marriage. He's currently dating a well-known newscaster. He is still very famous, and he is constantly involved in dating scandals and controversial topics. You just narrowed your eyes in disgust when you saw his handsome face, which never seems to age, and decided right then and there that you despised everything about the entertainment industry that had left your mother burned and bruised and you without a loving father and a family legacy.

Your mother never dated, and she developed an aversion to all things romantic. Despite being 35 years old, she resembles more like an older sister. A gorgeous sister. Unfortunately, you don't resemble her, but you believe the majority of your genetics are inherited from your absent father.

You would study the resemblance with this famous idol secretly and behind your mother's back. You knew your mother was honest and she has integrity, and would never tell you a lie about something so important.

What you observed made you despise the man even more. You shared his straight nose, eye shape, and cupid full lips, and you were both very pale. His ear shape was even similar. Not too big, just medium size. He was extremely good-looking.

Your cousin constantly makes fun of you, saying you'll end up like your mother. Because no one will marry a girl with a tainted past and a scandalous birth.

That is the sole reason you refuse to tell Hoseok about your feelings. His ultra-wealthy family will never accept you. It would be better if you just stopped trying to win the heart of one of Choon Ang Private Academy's most desired boys.

Jung Hoseok must remain in your wonderful dreams...where he is entirely yours.
