MALFOY MANOR, DRACO'S ROOM:
Artemis and Draco were dating.
Well not really.
Kind of.
Talking?
Flirting...
Ever since his confession which was over a month ago, they had both agreed to get to know each other romantically.
It helped that both Artemis and Blaise were staying in the Malfoy manor this summer since they didn't go to Italy.
Theo and Daphne visited a lot, keeping the trio company. The Nott wizard still hadn't told his parents about his sexuality and wasn't planning on doing it any time soon, he preferred his friend's company to his family's.
He was also the only person that knew about Daphne and Blaise's secret relationship, covering for most of the time.
He didn't understand why they were hiding the fact that they were dating, especially since many people thought they were anyway, but he stop asking and just helped them.
He thought they were cute, he often hoped that one day he would find someone that adored him that way, but he was only 13 so he knew he had time.
Daphne was infatuated with her new boyfriend, especially since he grew out his hair.
His cousin had to plait it for him when it reached down to his eyebrows. Many were shocked at the rate his hair grew, Artemis wasn't surprised, since he had to constantly cut it when he was keeping it short, but he liked how his new style looked.
He had caught more attention from more young witches and wizards whenever he was brought to pureblood events by his godparents, he ignored their leering eyes, not caring about the attention as much.
This surprised his family, mainly Artemis, but she instead focused on Draco.
They didn't have a title, for what they were, and neither did the people around them.
Narcissa grinned every time she saw them holding hands or staring longingly at each other, she wrote to her best friends each time she saw the young purebloods.
Lucius didn't act like it but he was joyful when he saw how his son was around his goddaughter, he just wished his best friend could see it as well.
Celeste and Ophelia were spending their summer in New Orleans, claiming that they were going to open up a branch in the city.
La Mente would finally go to America, even though the twins hated the country, they did like visiting this particular city.
The music.
The fashion.
The atmosphere, they were exhilarated.
They also loved the supernatural element of the beautiful city, of course, they were careful not to expose themselves, but many people knew who they were, how could you not?
"To live will be an awfully big adventure." Artemis read out as she combed her hand through Draco's platinum hair. They were laying on his king-sized bed, his head on her legs, she was sitting up against the headboard.
She loved his room, it was similar to hers, but the walls were silver, as were many more objects in his room.
The light shone through, it stayed on the young purebloods, their skin embraced the warmth and drunk up the sun- rays.
The other three members of their group were downstairs in the living room, playing various games since they didn't have a television.
Sapphire Seramore had gifted them the muggle game; monopoly.
She was bored and wanted to cause some drama and what better way of causing drama than by playing one of the most vicious board games in history?
Call her malicious or mean, but retired life wasn't for her, which is why she always visited her Italian branch of La Mente.
"I wish we could go to Neverland," Draco said, his crush continued to play with his locks, he loved the feeling of her nails raking against his scalp. "Like imagine being able to fly to a different place," he spoke lowly.
His voice grew deeper as the months passed. He lost the remaining baby fat that was clinging to his cheeks and his hair had gotten longer.
He barely wore it gelled back, much to his father's disapproval, but Narcissa told her husband to leave him alone.
Artemis's hair was out of her braids and was almost passed her bust, her chest grew in size, and it didn't go unnoticed by the people that surrounded her.
She went from a B cup to a C.
She got used to wearing wired bras, even though they were very uncomfortable.
She had a silk scarf wrapped around the top of her head, her curls hung freely.
Draco always kept her bonnets and scarfs in his room, or the room that she stayed in whenever she slept over.
She looked down at the relaxed boy, "yeah, it's not like we have brooms or anything." she said sarcastically.
He turned his head to give her a playful glare, "you know what I mean," she giggled, his heart fluttered at the noise, "just imagine being somewhere that magical."
"But we would have to come back." she offered him a sad smile.
"Not if we just stayed there forever."
"But what about school?"
He scoffed, "What about it?"
"Our friends?"
"Obviously they're coming with us." she nodded along, she couldn't be away from them all for too long. "Plus who else would we have to annoy?" he laughed.
Artemis started to think, listing all the possible suspects, "The lost boys, the pirates, the mermaids."
"Princess tiger lily." he teased, soft chuckles escaped their mouths.
"What about our parents?" she smiled down at him.
He shifted in his position, turning his body to face her as his legs spread out across his comfortable bed, "I guess they could visit." he began to play with the new ring that rest on his manicured hand, "I mean, we would be young forever, wouldn't that be great?" she could hear the excitement in his voice.
It would be great, she thought. Better than great."Vampires live forever you know." she drawled.
His face scrunched up in disgust at the thought of necromancy, he felt what was dead, should stay dead. "You believe in them?"
She frowned slightly, "If neverland is a possibility, then vampires are definitely real."
He hummed, his grey eyes moved from her dark tight curls to the rings that he continued to play with, "I guess so, but I never want to meet one."
She snickered at how he tensed up at the topic, "Why?"
He shot her an exacerbated look, "Because they would probably kill me or at least try to fight me."
She hummed in agreement, "With the mouth you have, probably."
He pinched her skin, she jerked her leg and smacked his hand away, "You aren't one to talk, you say worse things than me."
She bit the inside of her mouth, thinking of the things she's said, "yeah but I say them when I have to, not all the time."
"Yeah yeah." he waved her off.
He picked up the book, that she had placed down a while ago, running his fingers over the details of the cover of his favourite book.
His father had found it a couple of weeks ago, he immediately shouted at him; Artemis heard the voice of her godfather and quickly made her way to Draco's room, her eyes locked on the muggle book in his grasp.
She Immediately explained that the gift was from her grandfather.
Lucius only let him keep the muggle book because his godfather bought it for him, and even though he was a grown man, he couldn't disobey Septrim, out of respect and slight fear.
He left the room with haste, not wanting to stay in the same place as something as ghastly as a muggle object.
Artemis comforted Draco the second the oldest wizard left the room. She wiped away the tears that escaped his eyes and told him to start naming the biggest constellations in order.
Hydra
Virgo
Ursa Major
Cetus
Hercules.
He calmed down after he recited them and they spent the rest of the day reading fairy tales.
She carefully took the book from his grasp, turning it over, looking at the blurb, missing the look of admiration on his face.
"Do you want to be the Peter to my Wendy?" she blurted out, meeting his gaze. She wore a teasing smirk.
"That would be an awfully big adventure," he teased, and entwined their fingers, "it would be an honour Arty." he winked, the rest of the morning they talked about their biggest fantasies, wishing they could go to Neverland.

Wednesday, July 30th:
MALFOY MANOR, ARTEMIS' ROOM:
Sirius Black had escaped Azkaban.
Artemis knew who the man was. She heard that was accused of killing Peter Pettigrew; his former housemate and 13 muggles with a single curse and selling out the Potters to The Dark Lord and was called his faithful servant.
When she also found out he was a Gryffindor student, she was shocked. She asked her mother if she had any articles on the man, she wondered if they mentioned his Hogwarts house when he was in the news.
Of course, they didn't, whenever a wizard or a witch is sent to Azkaban and they were in Slytherin, they always seem to mention their house status, but they never do the same when it's a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw student.
When the young Seramore witch discovered this, she wished she could say that she was surprised however the media, as well as the government, had an agenda; to present all Slytherin as bad and Gryffindor as virtuous.
The Pureblood 5 was slightly scared about the escapee, but they busied themselves so they could ignore their discomfort.
Earlier today, Ciana flew in and gave her owner a letter from Celeste.
La mia bamina, my little girl,
I heard about Sirius escaping Azkaban, they honestly need to get better security in that place.
Hell, Lia would be a better guard than those bloody dementors.
Artemis giggled at the thought.
Of course, they haven't caught him, yet I have no clue how, but they better do it soon, or I'll come back to England and find him myself.
America is awful as usual but New Orleans is still as lively as ever, I must bring you here next summer. The city just feels like pure magic, you'll love it.
She'd rather shit in her hands and clap than go to America.
Speaking of love, Cissy has been telling your aunt and me about you and Draco, you two sound soo cute. Why haven't you told me you got your first boyfriend? You have to tell me everything, all the details.
Artemis pinched the bridge of her nose, she knew that no one in her family could keep a secret.
When did it start, how and who started it?
I need to win a bet and you need to spill the beans young lady.
Her family made more bets than muggles started wars.
I've sent you and your friends some clothes. Chanel, Versace and Calvin Klein are the rage now. Make sure they wear them and tell me their feedback as your aunt and I have to do interviews and collaborations with the creators.
I'm sorry we won't be able to see each other for a while Arty since I won't see you until next year, but I can't wait to see how much more intelligent and beautiful you will become next summer.
Please take care of yourself and don't get caught.
I love you forever,
C.S.
Artemis looked at the trunk full of clothes that appeared next to her, the Seramore crest prominent on the cover, she opened the lock and push the top open, her eyes widened and her mouth contorted into a wide smile.
She let her hands feel and caress the materials of the designer brands. "GUYS." she yelled, she didn't hear any movements, rolling her eyes she spoke up again, "WE'VE GOT BRAND NEW DESIGNER CLOTHES."
Suddenly she heard loud footsteps run towards her room, the door burst open and her friends ran over and sat in front of the jet black trunk.
Blaise's jaw dropped, "Damn." he began pulling out the clothing, as did Theo. Draco wrapped his arm around his crush, admiring what she was holding.
Daphne squealed, reaching her hands out, "Gimme gimme gimme."
"Definitely going to wear this tomorrow." Artemis showed the blonde a lime green cropped suede jacket, with a matching skirt.
Daphne gawked at the outfit, touching the fabric, "Love it." she rose from the ground and placed clothes to her chest, looking at the mirror, smirking as Blaise eyed her figure.
Draco leaned down and whispered in Artemis' ear, "That would look good on you," her cheeks heated up and she shot him a smile. He kissed her cheek, "very good."
Theo glared at the two, "Disgusting, take it elsewhere." Blaise didn't care, he was too busy trying on a Chanel jacket and walking up to the mirror, joining the Greengrass witch.
Artemis rolled her eyes, "T, this is my room." Draco rested his head in the crook of her neck, closing his eyes as her scent invaded his nostrils.
The nott wizard smiled sarcastically whilst he quickly picked up a Versace top, "Well, It's mine now." he waved his hands around.
She shook her head, Draco groaned and moved his, still keeping his eyes shut, "you okay?" she whispered.
"I'm fine, just tired," she passed him a Calvin Klein top, his eyes fluttered up and his hand grasp it. "It's nice."
"It would look good on you," she teased, "very good", he hid his blushing face in the crook of her neck again, causing her to quietly laugh. "Mum said we need to try these on, say if we like them or not and then write her back because she and Aunt Lia might be doing collaborations with some of them," she spoke loudly, alerting her friends, who nodded in response.
The rest of the day turned into a huge fashion show.
Blaise and Theo dramatically walked up and down the clear space in Artemis's room, new designer jackets clung to their bodies as Artemis and Daphne mimicked beatboxing.
Draco stood tall as he effortless strolled up and down their faux catwalk, bowing at the imagining audience and shooting the Seramore witch a wink.
Artemis flipped her hair as she walked, long legs on show as she wore her skirt with her matching cropped jacket and a white top. She blew her 'fans' a kiss as she pivoted and turned back to their fake changing room.
Daphne dressed up in a Chanel summer dress that flowed down her physique; Blaise raked his eyes over her body, making a mental note to give her extra kisses before they went to bed, she wiggled her fingers at the end of the catwalk and swivelled around, excited try more clothes.
Their fashion extravaganza lasted a while, they forgot which one they even liked due to them all getting lost in the world of glamour, couture and style.

Friday, August 20th:
MALFOY MANOR, DRACO'S ROOM:
The group of friends sat in Draco's room, the boys were playing a heated game of Monopoly on the floor.
Daphne was in the corner, straightening her hair, meanwhile, Artemis was trying to do her cousin's hair.
Blaise was sitting between her legs, she was sitting on Draco's bed, hair products spread out around her.
Theo just rolled the dice, the boys watched as they hit the board, waiting as they revealed numbers. Luckily for the curly-haired boy, he narrowly avoided landing on Draco's property.
It was Blaise's turn; he kept wincing as Artemis combed out his thick hair; much to his annoyance, he landed in jail.
Theo laughed, "I'm superior at this game."
"For now." Blaise shook his head and began to sort out his money; Draco rolled the dice, moved his piece to the community chest and picked up a get out of jail free card, he smiled smugly at the Zabini wizard, "Sod off, I'm not going to be in here forever."
Draco picked up the dice and passed them over to him, "roll two 6's and say that again."
Unfortunately, Blaise didn't roll a 12, the boys laughed at him, he really wanted to flip the board.
Feels like a hate crime, the oldest wizard thought. Monopoly is racist.
"I hate this game," Artemis glared at the board, she used a fine-tooth comb to part her cousin's hair and then added some oil to his scalp.
Daphne continued to do her hair, occasionally getting lost in her reflection, not caring about the noise around her.
Unsurprisingly, Blaise's hair was almost down to his cheekbones, he trusted Artemis to put his kinky lock's into cornrows every two weeks. He thought having his hair out in an afro was too much hard work so he preferred when she took care of it.
His hair wasn't the only thing that changed this summer; all the boys grew a couple of inches, all between 5"6 and 5"7. Their voices had gotten deeper, their feet bigger and their faces were more mature.
The two witches developed more, catching the attention of creepy wizards.
Sometimes they felt uncomfortable in their new skin, but positive affirmations helped them feel more confident. Since they couldn't use magic, Lucius hexed anyone who looked at them disgustingly.
As a group they all wore more jewellery, Daphne loved wearing her diamond earrings, which Blaise secretly gifted her when they were on a date.
Draco wore his family ring, his father gifted him the heirloom on his birthday. Theo had gotten his ears pierced as well, but he wasn't as flashy as Daphne, so he usually wore studs or small rings.
The cousins continued to wear their matching rings, as well as Draco, rarely taking them off.
This game of monopoly was felt like it was never going to end, Daphne had to put down her straightener many times to stop the boys from flipping the board, while Artemis laughed at their anger the entire time.
It made it very difficult for her to do Blaise's hair, especially when he kept moving. Luckily he only wanted four cornrows, and since he shaved the sides, it wouldn't take her very long.
Artemis tilted her cousin's head to the side and started to braid, "Every time I wrote the word 'Piss' it changed it to 'fiss' which doesn't even make sense, like why would I tell anyone to 'fiss off.'" Theo said in annoyance and took his turn.
Within the wizarding world, everyone was gifted new quills, they helped people with spelling and corrected grammar. It was sometimes helpful unless you wanted to curse someone out and it would change the word and make the sentence very confusing.
Daphne nodded and sectioned off another piece of her hair, "Fuck is now duck."
"Bitch is snitch." Blaise snickered.
"Shit is hit, I might just go back to my old quill," Draco added on, the updated quills were a big issue amongst teenagers and many adults.
Artemis groaned, "Same it's pissing me off" she used a small rubber band and added it to the end of the braid, ensuring it wouldn't open up.
"Fissing you off." Blaise quipped the others chuckled.
She yanked on his hair, he hissed in pain, "Duck off B." she then started on another braid.
Draco moved his piece forward, glancing at his crush briefly. She felt eyes on her, she smiled at him before going back to doing Blaise's hair.
Blaise groaned when he realised he forgot to collect his money when he passed go, "So no one was going to tell me that I didn't pick up my 2 million?"
The boys gave him a deadpanned look, "Maybe if you stop staring at Daphne like she's a piece of meat you would have collected your 2m." Theo shrugged innocently when he received a glare from Blaise. The Greengrass witch's face lit up, but then she quickly tried to act unbothered when she remembered when she was in front of the mirror.
Artemis looked between the blonde and Blaise suspiciously, "Yeah B, focus on the game." Theo repressed a grin as did Draco.
Draco knew something was going on between the two, he saw the new pieces of jewellery that the blonde witch kept wearing, but for once he chose not to say anything. He felt like being nice for now...
Blaise winced as Artemis pulled on his hair a bit too tightly, she was trying to do the final parting but she kept messing up.
"AJ do you want to pull out my hair?"
"Do you want me to get it done?" she was met with silence, "exactly shut up." the two other wizards snickered, as well as Daphne.
The topic of the conversion changed drastically in 10 minutes, "Tony Montana killed his sister because he's insane and he's on drugs." Artemis pointed out as she started on the final braid.
"He was such a mess, but the man did look good." Daphne pointed out, Draco caught the frown on Blaise's face, he smirked and then looked back at Theo as he took his turn.
"He shouldn't have touched drugs if he wanted to stay on top."
Draco hummed in agreement, "Drugs can mess someone up badly, especially muggle ones, I don't know how anyone could touch those."
Theo and blaise shared a discrete look, their eyes widened slightly then looked away.
Artemis added a rubber band to the final cornrow, sprayed olive oil over his head, covering the Blaise's eyes briefly, then sprayed some hair foam, it dissolved in a few seconds.
She nudged him to go up to the mirror, he stood up alerting Daphne's attention as he made his way over to her. He smiled raking his hand over his new style, ignoring the aching from his scalp, "thank's AJ."
"No problem," she tossed him a black durag, he caught it with ease and put it on. He smirked when he felt Daphne's eyes on him, winking at her as he walked back to the game.
The blonde witch finally finished straightening her hair, "it only took 2 hours this time," she exclaimed, the cousins smiled at her excited tone.
Draco and Theo didn't bother to look up, they didn't care at all. Daphne came over to the bed after putting the straightener away, finding it handier than the spell she used to use.
Artemis put all the hair products away, placing them all in a neat pile, before she joined Daphne, lying on the bed. "I think glasses would look good on me," the blonde blurted out.
"They would Daph," The Seramore witch smiled at her friend.
Blaise nodded "I agree." Theo and Draco laughed quietly but stopped when they received a glare from the Zabini boy. Blaise finally escaped jail and bought another property.
Artemis kicked her cousin's head, he groaned in pain, the other pureblood's laughed at the exchange, "You bullied me for wanting to get them as well."
"You're my cousin AJ, it's a privilege to bully you not a right." he pointed out and wacked her leg, grabbing it before she attempted to kick him again. The two witches rose up and leaned on their elbows.
"Yeah yeah." she rolled her eyes, as Theo rolled the dice, "Since school starts in like 11 days do you think much will change?"
"Potter will still be crushing on you." Daphne pointed out, they all saw Draco's scowl, laughing as he gripped onto his playing piece.
Blaise scoffed, "That thin-lipped bitch."
"Four eyes, glasses-wearing twat." Draco added lowly, already wishing that Potter didn't show up for school this year.
Theo cringed, "Guys I want to be able to eat so stop talking about scar-head."
Daphne huffed she liked how jealous Draco got whenever anyone looked at her best friend, it was like steam left his ears and his eyes darkened as if he was the devil incarnate, "So do you guys think we'll get a new professor this year?"
"We always do." Artemis sighed, "Quirrel was working for Lord V."
"The fact he was Big V astonishes me, how didn't Dumbledore know?" Blaise was truly intrigued, he didn't understand how someone as powerful and old as their headmaster couldn't figure it out, "plus that stutter was awful."
Daphne pondered for a while, "He's either dumb or just hates us."
"Both." the other 4 responded in unison.
"Hopefully he's changed," Theo said optimistically, he was trying to be more positive in preparation for his 3rd year at Hogwarts, hopefully, it lasted long.
"Physically or...." Blaise trailed off, getting slightly distracted as he thought that Draco was about to land on his hotel.
"All of the above," Theo replied, he always got a creepy vibe from the man. He grinned when Blaise landed on his property, obnoxiously waving his wand out so he could get his money, the Zabini wizard slapped it into his hand, shaking his head in disbelief, "Should we bring monopoly to school?" he asked teasingly, rubbing the fake money across his face, pretending to cry.
Artemis cocked her head to the side, "Do you want to start a war?"
"Yes," Theo replied enthusiastically.
Blaise raised his fist in the air, "War of 3rd year." he announced loudly.
"War of 3rd year." the group repeated simultaneously.

so the pureblood 5 spent most of the summer at Malfoy manor.
theo still hasn't come out to his parents yet, And he won't tell them for a while.
daphne's parents argue a lot, which is why she spends more time with her friends than with family.
Also she and blaise have been dating for about 3 months, theo knows, Draco suspects something is going on, but surprisingly doesn't comment on it. Artemis doesn't know.
what do you think so far?
