WARNINGS: FINAL CHAPTER

SOUTH OF FRANCE RESIDENCE:

"Draco..." Artemis moaned.

"What? You want me to stop?"

"Draco..." she whined again, shifting on her back as he hovered between her legs.

"Am I not allowed to talk to my son?" He asked, gesturing to her round bump, that he hasn't taken his eyes off since he first noticed it... 3 months ago. "It's rude to interrupt such a precious time."

"We don't know the gender," she said, amused by his persistence, "it could be a girl."

"It's a boy," he combed his hands through his hair and pressed another kiss to her stomach.

"I forgot you're the one carrying this baby for 7 months," she rolled her eyes at the pout on his face and palmed her bump. Pregnancy was tough for Artemis, pretty much every part of her body hurt and her emotions were uncontrollable, meaning she rarely used magic unless she was having a good day. "You keep talking, which means they'll keep kicking - ouch," she hissed at the sudden pain, "that was a big one."

Draco beamed whenever the baby kicked, though, he knew he shouldn't because of the increasing pain it caused to his lovely wife he just couldn't wait to meet the person that would take after the both of them. Ever since he discovered he was gonna be a dad he broke down in tears, until celebrating came seconds later just before he cried again. The feeling was indescribable. Telling the rest of the family was easy, but then again, he had to inform his father which meant visiting Azkaban, which he hadn't done in for a while. Lucius didn't react, he couldn't, he didn't know what day or time it was, but somehow that didn't dampen Draco's spirit. He just swore he wouldn't be like his father.

Everyone's reactions were the same... but Daphne already made baby shower preparations alongside Celeste, which took place around the end of the first trimester and the list for that was almost as long as the wedding list.

"I'll be quiet," Draco promised, then grinning at the smile on Artemis' face, "I won't keep you up for long. Come on, we do this every night."

"And every night I'm up because your child won't quit kicking me."

"My child?" He raised an amused brow, "Will it be my child when they accomplish something or only when they misbehave."

"...yes," she answered, laughing when he tickled her sides, "alright - ouch." She palmed her stomach again, "mi amore, it hurts when you kick mamma," she hissed again, "are you misbehaving because of Papร ? Because he's near?" She looked up at her smirking husband, "You know Astrid did the same to Daph whenever Blaise was near."

"She still does," he recalled, "toddlers have a strong grip too, she tried taking my wand you know?"

"Reckon this little one will be the same?"

"Worse," Draco said, pressing kissing up and down her bump and the prominent line showing on her glowing skin. Her skin darkened in some areas, whilst her hair grew like weeds on the ground, fast yet uneven, much to her contempt. Cutting her precious dyed locks was tiring for Artemis, nevertheless, she didn't mind so much, considering the result. A beautiful baby, "I suppose those counselling sessions helped us in preparation for that. You know, with our patience?"

"Definitely," she grinned.

The married couple hadn't stopped their therapy sessions nor did the rest of their friends. It was all about improving themselves. Weekly visits were part of their routine. Artemis even proposed building a ward at St Mungo's dedicated to mental health because it was a necessity, well that was before she and Draco decided to reside in the south of France.

Saint Tropez to be more specific. It was a part of their dream a long time ago and they couldn't miss it. Artemis' pregnancy came with the move, well a month after the wedding it wasn't long for a little bun to be forming in her oven.

"Do you think when they're born... we'll be okay?"

"Of course," Draco responded rather quickly, settling most of her nerves, "I know it'll be hard, but we have each other, we'll always have each other."

"We will."

Another kiss was pressed to her stomach, making her smile broaden.

Draco had been nothing but accommodating to her every need since she started her pregnancy, buying whatever she craved - chocolate frogs were a must - ensured the chefs in their home were paid extra because he tended to wake them up as his wife was always hungry during the night. Binky was present and she helped as much as possible but tended to stay in England because she could visit Dobby's gravesite. Draco rubbed her feet, ran her bubble baths - even bathed with her whenever her hormones beckoned him - and even sought after any and every potion that could make her somewhat comfortable, which was harder than he thought. Whenever he caught Artemis crying he panicked, but knew it wouldn't last long, even though it scared him a little. He was always the emotional one in their relationship, it stunned him with they swapped roles.

"Go back to sleep, I'll join you after I've had a little chat with our son..."

Artemis snorted at how he failed to correct himself.

She nodded and scooted down the bed, trying to find a more comfortable position and when she settled, she shut her eyes.

Draco continued to watch his wife, smiling at how he had anything he ever wanted just in his eye view.

The love of his life and heir.

Narcissa swore that his eyes hadn't dimmed once since their wedding day, but he knew they brightened when he found out about being a father.

Grinning, he lowered his head onto her stomach and basked in the movement he felt against his face.

"As I was saying, I promised won't be like my father. You will be loved, and cared for, in more ways than one. I'll love you forever, no matter what gender you are. Be nice to your mummy, because she is the strongest and most cunning woman in the world, a stubborn, annoying," he chuckled when he received a tap on the head, "enigma, but she's my goddess and your mother."

SERAMORE-MIKAELSON MANOR:

"Mamma," the 4-year-old twins rushed over to their mother when she entered the mansion after leaving the hospital early. Apollo Ezekiel and Demetria Celeste Malfoy-Seramore were born on August 5th 2006, surprising their mother and father and the rest of their family. Twins. Celeste and Ophelia were grinning ear to ear at the news. The fraternal heirs inherited their father's stormy eyes, and a few strands of his platinum hair, whilst confidently embracing their mother's complexion and darker hair. They were everything draco and Artemis could ever want. "We've missed you!"

"Oh and I missed you, my babies," she dropped to the floor, smothering them with kisses as they giggled and squealed in their mother's embrace, "what have you been doing today?"

"The usual mon amour," Draco said, grinning as the twins continued hugging their mother's legs. With a few strides he rushed to pick up Demetria who quickly clung to him, being a daddy's girl and all, everyone was used to seeing her by his side, "driving me mad, weren't you?" he asked his daughter.

"Papa lying," Demetria replied.

"Yeah, papa not telling the truth," Apollo added, still holding onto his mother's hands.

Artemis smiled, walking over to her husband and pressed a chaste kiss to his lips, laughing when she could hear the twins gag at the action, they never seemed to like the affection their parents gave each other.

"One shouldn't tell lies Draco," Klaus chuckled at the playful glare he received, then whisked up his grandson when he held out his arms. Apollo always loved spending time with the hybrid, especially with all the attention he received from him, "'Pollo was helping me paint today."

"Dad, I didn't know you were here," she beamed when he kissed her cheek. Dad, she had started calling that only a few years after the wedding. He was ecstatic when she finally did and even cried and told Celeste, "I thought you were in London for the month, doing work for Somerset House?"

"Couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend some time with my grandchildren, could I?" he tickled Apollo's sides, making him giggle.

"And Demi doesn't like me today," Apollo pouted when his sister rolled her eyes. He looked so much like his father whenever he grew upset.

Draco looked down at his daughter, who said, "I wanted Papa today."

Apollo was more sensitive than his sister, he couldn't help crying whenever something didn't go his way, it hurt him in ways that no one apart from a few truly understood.

"Mean," he said, pointing at Demetria and tucking his head into Klaus' neck.

Demetria frowned, "I'm not mean."

"You are," Apollo insisted, whilst Klaus rubbed his back.

"No, I'm not.

"Wait until Bisnonno Septrim hears about this," Apollo said, glaring at his sister. Draco's eyes doubled in size at his son's words, reminding him of his own when he was younger.

"Now 'Pollo, your sister is not mean," Draco spoke softly, his heart hurt whenever they argued. He was spending today with Demetria all because it was preplanned, not because he prioritised her over his son, "how 'bout we go star-gazing tomorrow, just you and me," he proposed to his son, who slowly turned towards his father.

"...okay," Apollo said, all while sniffling.

Artemis interrupted, "Now, say sorry to your sister," Demetria smiled widely at her mother, she often acted more like her than her father. "she's not mean."

Apollo glanced between his father and then his grandfather, they both nodded. So he nudged Klaus to let him down and walk over to his older sister. Draco did the same thing.

"Sorry Demi," Apollo muttered.

"It's okay," she murmured, reaching for his hands and squeezing three, expressing the love they had for each other.

Artemis grinned when they did so. Usually, the twins communicated in many ways, other than Italian and French, what she and draco taught them, but just through their actions whenever they grew mad or anxious.

"Now, do you want to help me finish our painting 'Pollo?" Klaus gently asked as the twins ran over to their mother.

"Only if Striddy can help," he answered, looking up at Artemis, "she's on the roof with Zio Blaise and Bisnonno Septrim."

Noting his wife's face, Draco told her, "Septrim arrived shortly before you did, Blaise brought Astrid, apparated here."

Demetria excitedly clapped, "I wanna play with Striddy."

"And Orion and Reecy," Apollo added, his sister agreed with him.

Orion Adrien Nott -Thomas was born only a year after Dean and theo tied the knot, on July 7th 2007 with the help of Astoria who was their surrogate. The 2-year-old boy appeared to look more like Dean than Theo especially with the tight kinks forming on top of his head, however, despite being a few shades lighter than Dean but still looked like the cutest and cheeky baby they'd ever seen.

Luna Lovegood and Padma Patil got engaged around the same time Daphne got pregnant with Ares Elijah Zabini. March 20th 2009, was when he was born, looking more like his mother with lighter eyes and looser hair, nevertheless, Blaise's spirit shone through, the boy who recently turned 1. Of course, they were all unaware of the future of Thea Panama Lovegood-Patil who would be born the next year.

"Orion is away with uncle theo and Dean," Draco said.

Artemis hummed, "And Reecy is with Aunt Daphne."

The twins simply shrugged and then started whispering to each other, another thing that they loved to do.

"Your mother will be back shortly," Klaus informed his adoptive daughter, watching as Draco started to entertain his children but conjuring up some sweets for them. "She claims we all need another family painting and that I cannot be the one to accomplish such a mundane task."

"How angry are you about that?" Artemis teased.

"I am perfectly fine," Klaus rolled his eyes at her smirk, "although I wonder what artist she will employ to mock my entire being, it cannot be someone more pathetically incompetent than that professor who inflicted a memory spell on himself."

Artemis laughed at his ranting, prepared that he would continue to go on for the longest time.

Celeste arrived shortly after, immediately running to her grandchildren, moving her son-in-law to the side and picking them up, pressing kisses all over their faces making them smile and giggle in her arms.

Septrim, Blaise and Astrid returned to the living room, meeting the rest of the family.

Astrid loved spending time with her little cousins. The 6-year-old was the most talkative of the bunch, well apart from Orion who babbled at every moment of the day. She was far more outgoing, wanting to be everywhere apart from the inside. She found nature fascinating, which often annoyed her mother, especially when she constantly begged to have a snake for a pet instead of a dog.

Speaking of dogs, Itri chose to spend most of his time sleeping, considering he surpassed his lifespan.

The once lively Doberman grew more immobile as of late.

"One more picture," Celeste instructed her family who were around the sofa, the kids were sitting down, chatting about, whilst Blaise and Draco were making sure they didn't run off. Artemis kept telling Klaus and Septrim to put down their drinks, all while trying to get Itri to wake up, "only one. Come on."

With a final flash, the Polaroid saw smiles, forced and genuine all around, the children were giggling, and Septrim showed a toothy smile, along with Blaise. Klaus and Draco were smirking, leaving Artemis and Celeste to grin.

KINGS CROSS STATION:

"Papร ," Apollo whined, "My hair is fine," he said, swatting his father's hand away.

Draco spent the entire journey making sure that his children looked the best, whilst Artemis checked their trunks, checking to see if they forget anything.

"Unless he lavers it in gel," Demetria retorted, much to her mother's amusement.

Apollo shot her a glare, "Get lost, Demi."

"You get lost."

"Hush you two," Draco gestured for them to come closer.

"Don't curse at each other," Artemis scolded her children.

"What did we tell you?"

"To always have each other's back," they reluctantly recited, then awkwardly glanced around, hoping through the sea of children they would see their cousins but didn't.

The carts that held their trolleys were safely holding up their trunks and were already placed on the train, along with the owl Draco brought for them in Diagon Alley. Their wands were on their person and Artemis took pride in taking them to Ollivander's where she got two of her wands. The twin's wands were fortunately the opposite of each other, Apollo got a dragon heartstring core and Demetria had a phoenix feather. Madam Malkin's robes were a short visit and the goblins in Gringrotts didn't phase the twins who were far more focused on their vaults than anything. And as much Artemis warned her husband not to buy anything from quality quidditch supplies, he did. Visiting Scribbulus only interested Demetrius and the Sugarplum Sweetshop was Apollo's main focus. Safe to say the twins got everything they needed for their 1st year.

Draco smiled, "Good."

"And Striddy knows that too," Artemis ensured.

Astrid was placed into Slytherin, despite the sorting hat hinting that Hufflepuff could also be a good fit for her. The 13-year-old Zabini witch was very popular amongst many houses and even had a best friend in Fred Weasley II who was obviously in Gryffindor. Quidditch didn't interest her in the slightest, she preferred potions and with Nevile Longbottom's teachings at the castle, she was exceeding in the Herbology which she secretly loved.

"But she's in 3rd year," Apollo complained.

Artemis strolled his cheek, "Family is family."

Draco nodded, "And your Aunt Daphne and Uncle Blaise have told her that, just like we tell you."

"What if we get into Ravenclaw?" Demetria nervously asked.

"Then you get into Ravenclaw, no matter the house we will be proud," Artemis wasn't worried about the houses they would be in even though a small part of her hoped she would be in Slytherin.

Apollo turned to Draco, "Will you Papร ?"

"Of course," Draco stiffly nodded.

"What about Hufflepuff?"

Demetria cocked her head to the side, "Or Gryffindor?"

Draco hesitated, which earned a glare from his wife, "no matter the house we'll be proud of you," he answered, calming his son more than his daughter, Demetria could tell he was lying.

Playfully rolling her eyes Artemis turned back to the twins, the youngest asked, "Do you think Striddy would let us go to the private quidditch practices?"

"Ask her," Artemis said looking past them with a wide smile.

They all turned to see Astrid run up to them, with Blaise not far behind.

Daphne was holding Ares' hand.

"Striddy!" the twins beamed.

"Twins!" Astrid rushed to hug them.

"Reecy," they hugged the shy 8-year-old who was gripping his mother's hand as she run her other hand through his dirty blonde kinks.

Artemis held out her arms for Ares knowing he hated attention, but he eventually embraced her and then allowed Draco to kiss the top of his head before going back to Daphne. The twins hugged their godmother and uncle also, who were overjoyed to see them again.

Blaise started, "Make sure no oneโ€“"

"--bothers my cousins," Astrid answered, making her father grin.

Astrid didn't have too much to make Blaise proud, Merlin, even when she passed her end-of-first year exams he gifted her with a snake which she named Ghost. Once Daphne found out she went mad, Blaise even joked about using the serenity charm on her and that didn't go down well. When Astrid reached her second year, she was told about her family's secret room, which surprisingly stayed secret all those years. Fred II was the 5th Gryffindor to ever enter but the 2nd to put his name down on the wall of ghosts.

"Speaking of cousins," Daphne looked towards Theo and Dean who were each holding Orion's hand.

"Hello," the 10-year-old let go of his dad's hands as the kids rushed over to him.

They hadn't seen Orion because Theo and Dean had been living abroad in Spain.

"Orion," they rushed to meet him.

"Don't go too far," Artemis warned.

"Stay where we can see you," Blaise yelled.

Theo and Dean all greeted the others, even waving and hugging the other kids as they all stood to the side.

Dean watched his son, "Can you believe Orion is gonna be here next year."

Theo tutted, "If we decide to send him to this godforsaken place."

"Durmstrang?" Artemis wondered.

"Perhaps."

Demetria rushed over to them, "Mamma, what do I do if I see a troll? Striddy said she saw a troll during her 1st year. Do I kill it?"

Blaise, Draco and Theo all nodded, "Yesโ€“"

"No baby, you don't kill it," Artemis cut them off, Daphne and Dean sent the others warning looks.

"Find a Professor if that happens," Daphne insisted.

Theo playfully scoffed, "Like that ever helped us."

"--Papร  do I need a dagger? Nonno Nik said I do." Apollo innocently asked, coming to stand next to his twin with, Astrid. Orion was off playing elsewhere.

"No, you don't," Artemis rushed out.

Draco quickly nodded at his son, before his wife could see.

Theo gasped, "-- is that Potter?"

"Oi potter!" Dean called out to his friends as the kids were all starting to board the train.

Harry waved at them before he stopped to talk to his second-born son.

Astrid was embraced by her parents and her little brother, then waited for her cousins, knowing they were anxious. She knew her friends were already in their compartments saving them a seat.

"Listen if you get in trouble..." Dean trailed off.

The twins said, "We don't know anything."

"So we didn't say anything," Astrid and even Ares finished.

Artemis pressed multiple kisses to her children's faces, and even though they whined they loved it. Draco hugged the twins tightly, ignoring Theo's mocking about him looking as if he was about to cry.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" Daphne stressed, knowing that Apollo was a nervous wreck.

Artemis shook her head, "They've got each other."

"Just like we did," Draco said, snaking his arm around his wife's waist.

Theo smiled, "And we still do."

"Besides they know a few hexes and curses," Blaise mumbled.

Dean cast him a knowing look, "Mate, you taught them?"

"When Daph is asleep," Blaise joked.

"I heard that," Daphne cast him a look, to which he responded with a wink.

They all turned to the train, hearing the final calls for everyone to board the train.

"Don't kill anyone," Artemis said, pressing one final kiss to her twin's heads.

Demetria smiled, "No promises mamma."

She took Apollo's hand and then followed after Astrid, leaving her parents dumbfounded.

Apollo even glared at a few wizards who looked at his sister and cousin as they boarded the train.

"She gets that from you Arty." Blaise teased.

Artemis looked somewhat offended, "What, no-"

"She does," Theo spoke definitively, earning a chuckle from Draco.

Ares grabbed his dad's hand, and Blaise pressed a kiss to his son's little fingers, making him sheepishly smile.

Draco said looking at the kids, "They're gonna cause them a lot of trouble."

"And with Potters and the Weasley kids?" Theo said, nodding to where Orion was, playing with Lily Potter, Hugo Granger-Weasley and Thea Lovegood-Patil.

"Be ready for the letters," Dean joked.

"The owl system will be broken won't it Reecy?" Blaise asked his son who timidly nodded, making his mother smile.

"...yeah," he whispered, watching his sister and cousins sit by the window.

Astrid, Demetria, and Apollo waved at him, putting a smile on his face.

"I can't wait to send a howler," Draco said excitedly, drawing a few laughs.

"I already sent a few last years," Daphne confessed, wrapping her arms around Ares' shoulders.

"I packed Monopoly in 'Pollo's trunk," Artemis confessed.

"You didn't?" Dean laughed.

"You just started a war Arty," Blaise beamed.

Artemis shrugged, "And?"

"I love you," Draco said, laughing and kissing her head.

She pressed a kiss to her lips, "I love you too."

"Saps," Theo said, despite his arm being wrapped around Dean's waist.

"Shut it."

The train started moving and they all waved goodbye to the children, watching as a whole new generation was starting or continuing their Hogwarts journeys, just like they once did all those years ago.

Fortunately, there were no wars and no dark wizards for them to face.

But that didn't mean there wouldn't be trouble.

Because even though one revolution had finished...

Another would soon start.
