What a wicked game to play
To make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do
To let me dream of you.

YEOSANG

Yeosang shakes his head for the fifth time, attempting to flip his hair away from his warm face. The air inside the club is extremely humid, and as the hours pass by he soon has to give in and unbutton the first two upper buttons of his shirt. It's no way near how he usually dresses himself, and he feels so exposed, but the ladies sure seem to love it - not that this in particular is important to him though.

But when he looks at San and Seonghwa's outfits, he doesn't feel all that daring anymore. San might as well just take his shirt off and it wouldn't make much of a difference with the amount of skin he is showing.

It might not be completely crowded at the club tonight, but it is definitely way busier from what Yeosang has been used to at his old job. He's also already been slipped several girls' phone numbers; which he has put somewhere he can't even remember. But it's not like he is going to need them anyway.

Throughout the shift he does everything he can to avoid asking San any questions, as he already seems more than annoyed with Yeosang already. But Yeosang still can't help but look at the other now and then. San truly is gorgeous, even though his personality is absolutely rotten.

San works fast but that doesn't stop him from flirting with each and every girl that comes to the bar, and every single one of them are acting like he's some kind of superstar. Yeosang curses under his breath when he once again can't take his eyes off of him.

The cocky smirk that shows on that well defined face whenever he hands a drink over the counter, and the way his shirt so well calculatedly shifts around when he moves, showing off the glistening skin underneath. All of that is more than enough for Yeosang to end up on the other side of the bar with the drooling, star struck girls, looking just as spellbound as they do.

Yeosang could hit himself in the head because of these thoughts. San has a horrible attitude, and he is clearly way too full of himself. So why waste any time even looking at someone like him? When remembering how Hongjoong had made a warning about San, Yeosang has to admit he in no way had thought it would be this bad. But he won't be pushed around by a guy like San. And it did make Yeosang feel rather proud of himself, seeing how startled San got whenever he didn't get his way.

At least that other guy, Hyunjin, has been nice so far. And Seonghwa too, although the latter does seem a tiny bit conceited at times. Working here might not be that bad, Yeosang just has to survive his first couple of shifts with San and then he should be fine. Hopefully.

When work is over for the night, Yeosang feels so exhausted he could just fall asleep right away. San carelessly lets Yeosang clean up the bar by himself, which he does without any complains from being so tired.

As soon as he is done, he walks through the night club and to get to the exit he has to pass by the table where San has been hanging out with Hyunjin and some blonde guy. As he gets closer, he can hear how Hyunjin and the other guy is having a conversation about pandas, or pancakes? Yeosang isn't quite sure, but from what he can hear neither are the two others.

"Hey, Yeosang! Come, join us," Hyunjin calls out when he sees Yeosang coming towards them.

Yeosang hesitates for a couple of seconds, as the stare that comes from San isn't welcoming at all. Why should he care though, it's not like San owns this place anyway. Although he sure acts like it.

"Yeosang, have you met Felix yet?" Hyunjin points to the blonde guy next to him.

With a polite smile, Yeosang takes a seat which Hyunjin is eagerly gesturing him to do. He can feel San's eyes resting heavily on him, but he pretends that he doesn't notice it and greets the blonde guy next to him.

"Nice to meet you! Did you enjoy your first night here?" Felix asks, "And do you want something to drink? San, go grab something for Yeosang?"

"It's been great this far. I-I don't need anything to drink, but thanks."

"Why? Don't you drink? Strange working at a bar if you don't, but maybe that's why your cocktails taste so weird," San grumbles, rolling his eyes while his friends are the side-eyeing him for being rude.

"I do, actually. I'm just not in the mood," Yeosang bites back, making San roll his eyes again.

"Anyway..." Hyunjin elbows San in the side before looking at Yeosang again. "Yeosang, you told me earlier you moved here from London, right?"

"Oh, you're from London? That's so cool!" Felix squeaks with big, sparkling eyes.

San gives a quick mocking comment about how Felix and Yeosang would get along well since they both talk weird, with Felix apparently coming from Australia. Felix flicks him on the forehead for his rude statement but eventually laughs and Yeosang guesses that it's something they often joke about as friends. But San isn't his friend yet, and for now Yeosang has no intentions of ever getting close to that jackass. Gorgeous or not.

"How come you moved then? Are you only here for work, or?" Felix questions.

"No. I'm also here to finish my studies at Seoul National," Yeosang replies, earning another glare from San, before the dark-haired returns to looking at his phone.

"Wow! Seoul National? You're a SKY student? Holy shit! Your family must be rich then, do you even need this job?" Hyunjin laughs and Yeosang doesn't want to neither deny or confirm that statement.

Searching his brain for a proper answer, without saying too much, Yeosang doesn't notice how San has finally put his phone down and is now leaning in across the table between them.

"Yes, why did you get a job here then? And how? A pretty little SKY prince like you don't really fit in here," San scoffs, his eyes piercing straight through Yeosang when their eyes meet.

Yeosang grits his teeth when he hears San's words. He doesn't want to seem rude in front of Hyunjin and Felix who seem like nice people, but there's just something about San that seems to get the worst out in him. He hesitates for a few seconds, not sure if he should tell the truth about how he got the job. He knows San will definitely look down at him, potentially even more than he already does. But everyone might find out sooner or later, so he should just be honest from the beginning.

"My-my cousin is friends with Hongjoong so..." Yeosang responds, feeling how the embarrassment is starting to show on his cheeks.

"Of course... Well, don't expect any special treatment. We don't do that here," San mumbles into his drink before taking a sip, and Yeosang feels how frustration storms through his body. What is this guy's problem?

"Are you sure about that, San? Don't think I haven't heard stories about you already." Yeosang raises a brow and Hyunjin and Felix can't stop themselves from laughing.

"Oooh! I like this new guy!" Felix grins, slapping his own thighs while laughing .

"Oh shut up," San snaps at his friend. He empties his glass while glaring over the edge at Yeosang who is sitting opposite of him.

Yeosang tilts his head a bit to the side while staring back, not even blinking. San's face is so mesmerizing it almost makes Yeosang forget how bad his attitude is. But only just almost. While the two of them are having a staring contest, one that Yeosang has no intention of losing, he curses in his mind as his heart starts beating faster. How can he be somewhat attracted to someone who's only been mean to him?

Hyunjin and Felix are already back to their panda-pancake talk but there's only dead silence between San and Yeosang, whose eyes are still piercing into the other's.

"Well. I should get going. See you guys tomorrow!" Yeosang breaks the eye contact and rises from his seat. He waves goodbye to the others and walks towards the door with his legs shaking from the tension.

While waiting for a cab, Yeosang looks up at the dark sky above. Small snowflakes are slowly falling down and landing on his face like small, cold kisses. A sigh leaves his lips as he finally can feel his body starting to relax again. The night is finally, one-hundred percent over. It had taken all his will-power to hold back from smacking San in the face for the numerous stupid and rude comments he had sent Yeosang's way.

But just as Yeosang thinks he can let himself relax, his thoughts are interrupted by the last person he'd like to see right now.

"Oh God... You're still here?" San's ever so annoyed voice suddenly sighs behind him.

"I'm just waiting for my cab, so calm down, San," Yeosang replies, only briefly looking over his shoulder.

"Pfft, I'm completely calm, my little SKY prince."

There's a slight flirting tone in San's otherwise mocking voice, which confuses Yeosang. Trying to pretend he didn't notice, he just looks down the street hoping that his cab will show up soon. But he can't shake the feeling of annoyance that is slowly creeping up on him from San's words.

"Stop calling me that!" he growls under his breath, scooping the snow on the ground around with his feet.

"Why? You're not into nicknames?"

"Not when it's coming from you," Yeosang snorts.

San just shrugs his shoulders before yanking a pack of cigarettes up from his pocket. Standing himself right next to Yeosang, he lights one up and exhales the smoke slowly out into the cold air around them. Yeosang usually hates when people smoke, but San sure looks sexy when he does it.

The dark hair is pushed back, leaving his sharp face completely bared for Yeosang to stare at. San purses his lips before taking another drag, while his eyes just stares blankly at nothing in particular. And for a very brief moment, Yeosang is sure he sees a short glimpse of vulnerability in San's eyes.

"What?" San tilts his head to look at Yeosang when he notices the younger is looking at him.

"Nothing?" Yeosang shrugs, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his coat as he turns away in embarrassment of being caught staring. "Ah, my cab is here."

"Great. Good night, SKY prince."

Yeosang shuts the door to the cab just as San's last words reach his ear, and he curses behind his gritted teeth that he didn't have a comeback ready this time.
