"Hey, Are you here to take mamma and baby grocery shopping?", Devi asked and Ram nodded whilst Aadhira squealed throwing her arms towards Ram. He quickly scooped her into his arms and the three of them walked to the parking lot.

Devi narrated to him all the doings of Aadhira whilst Aadhira was trying to steal her dad's attention by pulling his hair, and beard and trying to make some sounds.

"She isn't gonna compromise with her dad's attention, I see. You are free to have him ma'am", Devi said slightly pinching her nose playfully and Aadhira baby hid her face in the crook of Ram's neck.

They got onto Ram's bike and our baby Aadhira was trying to see the world while trying to clap her hands trying to show her excitement.

Devi covered her with a shawl to protect her from falling sick because of the cool air that hit them when they were on the bike but our Aadhira was in no mood to cover herself with the shawl and she pushed it away.

Devi yet again tried to cover her but failed miserably in front of her curious daughter who was eager to see her surroundings and new people.

They reached the store and Ram went to bring the trolley while Devi stood near the entrance queue with Aadhira in her arms.

As though things in her hand were not enough, her phone started ringing. With Aadhira in one of her hands and her handbag in another. She moved out of the line, kept her bag on the floor and sat on her knees trying to pick up her phone from a bunch of things in her bag.

Just then someone closed her eyes and Aadhira was giggling. Devi tried to sense who it was and before she said the name the person removed their hand from her and Devi turned around to see her best friend Ridhi along with her husband Vishal.

"Ridhi, thought it was you! What a pleasant surprise", Devi said and our baby was already throwing her arms towards Ridhi signalling to take her into her arms.

"Aadhu baby and I are best friends, right Aadhu baby? And we come together everywhere we go. She called me and said she was coming here and here I am. Right Aadhu?", Ridhi spoke out taking Aadhira in her arms.

Just then Ram came there and saw Aadhira in Ridhi's arms. He was surprised to see Ridhi there along with Vishal.

He met Ridhi and Vishal at his wedding and he got along with Vishal quite well.

"Hey! Vishal and Ridhi, Hello guys!", Ram said and both of them waved at him.

"Where was your phone Sri? I was trying to call you as I wasn't able to find you on the line", Ram asks Devi.

"Ah, I was there only. I heard the phone was ringing and I couldn't pick it up there so I came here and madam surprised me here", Devi explained to him to which he nodded.

"Let's go, let's go! We have to buy so many things", Ridhi spoke and all five of them went into the supermarket.

All the time Aadhira and Ridhi were together which was making Ram jealous. Devi sensed him glaring at her best friend and laughed to herself.

They shopped all the necessary things and during the billing section some other stranger was trying to play with Aadhira and Ram took her away from Ridhi and went out to his bike after giving his wallet to Devi.

Ridhi who was aware of the possessive father didn't mind it and Devi hit her head nodding her head negatively.

From there Ridhi and Vishal went in another direction and Devi carried three heavy bags in her hands walking towards the parking area when she felt someone was taking two bags from her she looked to find Ram and Aadhira in his smiling at her.

She let him carry those two bags and three of them walked toward the bike. He carefully hung all the bags on the bike and Devi took Aadhira into her arms by then Aadhira was fast asleep which made Devi easy to wrap a shawl covering her ears and hands.

They travelled back home and Devi got off the bike and went towards their home leaving him to carry all the bags.

She unlocked the door and straight up went to the bedroom, she carefully put Aadhira to sleep and put a mosquito net along with four pillows on the four sides. She got down from the bed after assuring Aadhira slept and changed her dress after freshening up.

She faced Ram near the door and had no energy to talk with him so went to the kitchen while he sighed and freshened up. He changed into casuals and settled down on the bed beside Aadhira while scrolling through his phone.

Two hours passed and Devi came back to the room. She got onto the bed and slowly removed the mosquito net. She took Aadhira in her arms, all the time she felt Ram's gaze on her.

"Dinner is ready, you can come and eat", she said and quickly went from there trying to avoid a conversation with him.

Ram took a deep breath and kept his phone on charge. He walked towards the dining table to see Aadhira still asleep, he smiled to himself thinking his daughter is just his replica when it comes to sleep.

"Let her sleep, she becomes grumpy when someone tries to wake her up", he said and Devi turned her face towards the other side.

"Devi, I am sorry! I know I should not have done something like that but I couldn't help", he said settling down on a chair and pulling hers towards him.

He holds her hand and she looks away.

"Try to understand na Devi, Please!", he tried to make it up to her.

"Ram garu, it's okay to be possessive. I am not going to tell you it's wrong but they were just playing with her and not harming her. I know you were trying to be protective, but just imagine how would they feel. Wouldn't they feel embarrassed?", she asked and he hung his head low.

"I am sorry! I'll make it up to them as well, I promise. I will try my best to control this possessive feeling as well", he said honestly and she nods at him.

"I promise I will try my best not to repeat it as well", he said.

"Okay andi", she said and smiled at him to which he stood up from his place and hugged her while she stopped him pointing towards Aadhira who was on her shoulder in deep sleep.

"Well, my srivaru said his daughter gets grumpy if woken up amidst of her sleep so sorry dear",she said and laughed while he made a puppy face.

Aadhira woke up from her beauty sleep and started rubbing her eyes with her tiny winy fists.

"There you go, she's up. Now handle your grumpy baby",she said handing Aadhira to him.

"Oh hello madam, she's just not my daughter but yours too",he said.

"Oh I didn't knew till now andi. I'll keep that in mind from now",she said and got two plates for him and herself.

"Why two Devi, keep only one. I'll eat, and feed you and Aadhira's bowl is ready already filled with yummy yummy cerlac already",he said making Sri Devi surprised.

"Fine then as you wish srivaru",she said and the three of them had dinner together.

Since it was a Tuesday night, they didn't want to watch a movie rather Devi and him cleaned up the kitchen while Aadhira plays in the living area with her toys.

Within two hours they were done with all the work, both them swept and mopped the floor and arranged all the things properly in their places and changed the bedsheets and arranged their clothes which were messed up.

After doing all the things by themselves, they were tired and fell on the bed together.

"Why is maintaining and arranging a home so tough?",Ram said.

"Because it's home",Sri Devi said.

Meanwhile, Sri Devi got up and went to living room to bring Aadhira into the bed room. She noticed Ram was talking to someone on a call.

A few mins passed and Ram came back onto the bed.

"What happened? Why do you seem like you are in shock?",Devi asked him..
