(Y/N) STROLLED THROUGH the streets of the city with her hoodie above her head to avoid any more harassing questions and reporters as she lowered her head to stare at her shoes. She was walking besides a railing and got a full view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

She was too busy and stuck in her own world that she didn't see the crowd of people piling up in the railings to gasp and point at something in the bridge, not noticing what they were doing until someone let out a loud gasp and an 'awe' sound.

(Y/N) looked up from the ground and got the perfect view to see what people were murmuring about, which made her heart soften the moment she realized what it was. A heart completely made out of webs was formed on the side of the Brooklyn Bridge, shining through the sunlight.

Her face grew hot at this and didn't get enough time to stare at it before she was picked off the ground with an arm wrapped around her waist from behind. A familiar figure took her in the air and she steadied her grip around the person's shoulders when she knew who it was.

(Y/N)'s feet touched the ground and she was now at the highest point of the bridge, her arms placed around the person's neck as the mask pulled back from his face and the entire nanotech suit disappeared along with it, she was able to see his sheepish smile.

"Did you like my gift?" Peter questioned with a red hue covering his face, arms wrapped around (Y/N)'s waist. He was wearing a completely wrinkled blazer and shirt with a matching tie, a look that fitted him pretty well.

"What gift?" (Y/N) grinned with a teasing grin.

"Hey! Don't be rude," Peter chuckled at her antic, his smile growing bigger by every passing second.

"Is it a special occasion? Why the sudden act of affection?"

"I just wanted to treat you, 's all," Peter replied, a small thought swarming through his head at the things he'd have to explain in a while.

"Mm," she hummed, pulling him out of his thoughts. "In that case, I hope I can repay you."

(Y/N) leaned in and kissed Peter on the lips, and the moment their lips met he completely melted under her touch, pulling her even closer than before. She removed one of her hands from his neck and caressed her fingers through his curls, softly tugging on them to pull him towards her.

"Whoa," he muttered as he caught his breath.

"Yeah," (Y/N) panted and noticed his flustered state, which made her heart flutter in her chest.

"We should do that more often," Peter suggested.

"I'm up for that request."

A comfortable silence washed over the couple as they locked eyes with the other, but there was an internal debate going through Peter's head, arguing over the fact of telling (Y/N) what he had planned to do a few hours back.

"I have to tell you something," he finally said.

"What's wrong?" (Y/N) frowned. "What did you do?"

"Why do you always assume I did something!" Peter exclaimed with fake offense and then a pout formed on his lips. "I'm not always getting in trouble."

(Y/N) shook her head with a laugh. "Calm down, lover boy. Go on, tell me."

"Look, what I โ€” " He paused his own words when a high pitched noise came into his ears and he instantly stared off the direction it came from.

(Y/N) frowned at his abrupt interruption and stared forward to see if she could see anythingย  when she could've swore she heard a rumble pass through her eardrums. "What is that?"

"Maybe we should find out," Peter told her.

(Y/N) flicked her wrist and the blue gown shimmered through her entire form, giving her the opportunity to jump off the bridge as she thrusted her hands to the side while Peter aimed a web to the side of the bridge to follow after her.

The strange sounds of cars crashing in the distance grew louder as (Y/N) and Peter approached, deciding to ignore the helicopter that was flying nearby. People were leaving their cars in the highway and ran in the opposite direction to get off the road as soon as possible, but neither knew the reason behind it.

"Why are you running?" Peter asked when he jumped on the roof of one car but he received no verbal answer, looking forward.

Cars were pulled down to the concrete and snapped in half, a loud rumble echoing down the ground and (Y/N) formed two spheres of energy in her hands while Peter prepared himself in a fighting posture. "Oh, my God."

He tapped on the roof of the car he had jumped into because he had spotted someone inside, oblivious to the fact that it was the woman from MIT. "Ma'am, you should get out of the car. Everybody get off the bridge!"

The man that drove the car rushed outside and left the scene, leaving the woman alone in a locked car. (Y/N) saw how more cars got pulled and snapped into the ground, getting close to him as three identical, mechanical arms with claws escaped through the broken pieces of the bridge, and it seemed like they were carrying something.

A man walked out of the smoke and he was being held up by the mechanical arms, wearing a long black jacket with matching glasses, but a mischievous smirk glinted his face. "Hello, Peter."

"Hi?" Peter waved awkwardly, looking back at (Y/N) for a small second. "Do we โ€” ? Do I know you?"

"What have you done with my machine?" the man sneered, his voice rough. The arms behind him seemed to have a mind of their own, since they pointed at him with him making a single move.

"What you're talking about? What machine?" (Y/N) questioned.

"The power of the sun in the palm of my hand, (Y/N)," the man continued, his hard glare fixed on her now and a frown formed on her face when she saw how he was staring at her like he knew her personally. "It's gone."

"Listen, sir, if you stop smashing cars, we can work together and I can help you find your machine," Peter tried to reason.

"You wanna play games?" he taunted and one of the arms flew towards one of the cars un front of him, smashing through the roof to get a better grip at it as he lifted it from the ground. "Catch!"

Peter jumped into action and tried to grab the car in the air but wasn't able to stop its speed, so he fell down from the bridge and nearly hit the ground with the car in his hands before he shot a web to the concrete to dangle the car in the air. All while (Y/N) distracted the man with her powers, lifting some of the cars in the air to hit him with them, but he caught them with the arms.

Peter got back to the road and placed the family that was inside the car in the ground safely. "It's okay. You guys are good. You're safe. Get out of here."

A claw from the mechanic arm grabbed him by the chest and lifted his feet off the ground. The man approached him slowly and pulled Peter close to him, looking at him from behind the glasses. "You think your fancy new suit's gonna save you?"

One of the claws grabbed Peter by the head before smashing him against the side of the woman's car, who let out a yelp when the car broke through the concrete and nearly fell down the side. (Y/N) used one arm to stop the car from falling and raised the other to restrain one of the mechanical arms.

The man grunted in frustration and discarded Peter to fix his full attention in (Y/N), which caused Peter to crash into the window of an UPS truck.

The claws from one of the metal arms tried to grab (Y/N)'s ankle to pull her away from sight but she flew in and hurled another blast at the man before she raised him in the air to avoid him damaging any other cars. This didn't stop him and reached for a metal tube from a sign to have a grip on the ground and used the other to aim a car at her.

(Y/N) yelped and tried to dodge it in time, grabbing it with her powers before she changed its course and hurled it at him. This made the man hiss in annoyance and glare at her. "You were easier to deal with. I should've killed you when I had the chance."

"What did you just say?" Peter broke through the truck with the gold spider legs forming in the back of his suit, a fiery look under his mask because of his words.

The confusion only worsened inside of (Y/N)'s head but she tried to shrug it off, trying to squeeze one of the arms with her powers to stop it from moving but she didn't count on the other one coming directly at her from the side, using this as a distraction. "Look, big guy, go back to the ocean where you came from and leave us alone!"

The man sneered at her comment and aimed at her but Peter shot a web at one of the mechanical arms to pull it back with strength. He blocked the attack as (Y/N) picked up one of the damaged signs with her powers to attack the man from behind.

The Daily Bugle helicopter approached the scene and seemed to be filming from above, and the duo got the upper hand of the fight quickly, not loosing rhythm in attacking the man.

"Peter!" a woman from the inside of the black car that dangled from the side of the highway yelled out. "Help!"

(Y/N) was able to read the look in Peter's face without having to see it because of the mask. "Go, I'll handle him!"

Peter used a web to swing himself from the traffic signs and head to the direction of the black car while (Y/N) held her hands up to stop the mechanic arms to get any close to her. The other two remaining arms sneaked through her legs when her posture faltered and lifted her high in the air to slowly get her head in the propeller but she tilted her head to the side and her whole body let out blue mist all around her yo throw the man away.

The man hit the ground and the arms held him up, grabbing a concrete pilar from a truck before throwing it in her direction. (Y/N) ducked out of the way and it smashed a car, huffing in annoyance at the guy's persistence. "All right, you've pissed me off."

She flicked her wrist and blue ropes wrapped themselves around the man's limbs to avoid any other movement. The anger in the man's face increased and he snapped the ropes in half with the claws of the arms, now fixing his attention to Peter and tried to stop him from getting away.

"Don't worry, ma'am! I'm coming!" Peter yelled out and prepared for shooting a web at the car, but a concrete pilar crashed into him and made him falter.

The car dangled with the two wheels from behind and it seemed to be loosing the last bit of balance it had on the ground and the woman screamed. "Peter!"

(Y/N) saw how the man raised a car to hurl it at Peter from the back and immediately formed a blast at his direction, which made him falter and gave Peter the clear opportunity to aim the web as the car fell down the highway.

The car dangled in midair and it nearly hit the ground, a web holding it in place as Peter shot two more to steady it and lower himself down to pull the woman off. (Y/N) was ready to join him and help him when she noticed the disappearance of the man with the mechanical arms. This made her frown and run to the edge of the road to alert him about it.

"Peter!" she cried, but it was too late. An arm grabbed him by the middle and tugged him from side to side in the air.

"I promise, I've got this all under control," he reassured as the man had him in his grip.

(Y/N) thrusted her hands to the side to help the woman off the car, seeing how she was strapped in her seatbelt and took deep breaths to calm herself down. Her brown hair was covering her entire face, and she swallowed when she saw how (Y/N) was approaching her.

"Hey, it's okay, ma'am. Calm down," she said slowly. "It's better for the both of us to stay calm. Can you help me with that."

The woman nodded since she wasn't capable of forming a response and eyed her carefully.

Meanwhile, the man had used one of the arms to pin Peter against the wall to restrain him from moving any further. Another claw tugged on the chest piece of his suit and ripped it off, revealing the suit he was wearing underneath.

"Suit compromised," said the new AI from his suit.

The man pulled the claw back to inspect the suit better and saw how it expanded through the rest of the arms and vertebrae. "Nanotechnology. Ah, you've outdone yourself, Peter."

"I underestimated you," he continued and a claw pulled a needle out, preparing to strike Peter with it. "But now you die."

The mask pulled back from Peter's face and it moved back to protect his chest from the impact, pushing him hard against the wall with a groan but it didn't cause that much damage. The claw pulled back with just the tie pierced by the needle and this made the man frown, using the arm to tug Peter closer as he removed his glasses.

A hint of surprise washed over him. "You're not Peter Parker."

A grunt left Peter's throat. "I am so confused right now."

"Whats happening?" the man questioned when he turned to face his machinery and noticed it was moving involuntarily, not following what he was trying to make it do.

"New device detected," the AI said loudly and Peter tapped a button on his right forearm to transfer the control of the arms to him. "Pairing new device."

The arms faltered and now seemed to be waiting for Peter's command, but this seemed to anger the man as he growled. "You don't listen to him. You listen to me."

Peter raised his arm and the mechanical ones copied his actions, going up and down slowly as he chuckled at what he was doing and waving at (Y/N) from behind the man, who was helping the woman inside the car.

(Y/N) used her powers to slowly place the car back in the road while Peter controlled the mechanic arms to pull the man into the ground to decide what to do about him as the latter complained about it and tried to take the control once again.

Peter joined (Y/N)' side and used a web to remove the door off the car and help the woman off. "Ma'am, you okay? Come on, you can still make your flight."

"Peter. You're a hero," the woman breathed out. "And (Y/N) Schmidt if I'm not mistaken."

(Y/N) cleared her throat. "Yes, ma'am."

"No. Well, I'm โ€” " Peter tried to protest. "No, I'm โ€” "

"I'm gonna talk to Admissions about your friends. And I'm gonna talk to them about the two of you," the woman said, determined.

"No, wait. I don't understand โ€” "

"I am going to talk to them about your friends and you two. Okay?"

"Really?"

"And if you keep your noses clean, maybe you'll have a fair shot," the woman advised and the. threw her purse out to get off the car for once. "Here. Get out of the way. Let me get that man. Hey. You. I see you. Come here!"

"That was not okay. Unbelievable."

(Y/N) tried to process what had just happened as she saw the woman walk away and turn back to face Peter, who seemed happy about what just happened. "Can you explain what just happened?"

"That's what I was trying to tell you in the first place, but then he came and โ€” " Peter rambled and took a step back to gesture at the man but he tried to punch him in the face to free himself.

Peter ducked out of the way. "Hey. Hey, hey, hey. Until you stop trying to kill me, I'm in control, buddy, of this whole tentacle situation you got going on here, okay?"

"Now, who the hell are you?" (Y/N) began and cut her words short when she saw how Peter drifted off and an arm restrained the man back. "Peter?"

(Y/N) heard how a small, green bomb rolled down the road before it went off, exploding the side of the bridge and bringing in a cloud full of smoke. A maniac laugh echoed all around and a green figure in a flying board broke through the cloud, a green mask covering it completely.

"Osborn?" the man with the machinery asked, like he didn't believe what he was seeing.

The flying figure, which was now known as Osborn, flew directly towards Peter and (Y/N) before they had time to dodge, but an orange glow wrapped them in an instant and transported them to another place, a dark and cold room.

The gown shimmered and disappeared from (Y/N)'s body and Peter's suit did too, not knowing what to expect from the empty room. With slow steps, (Y/N) held onto Peter's hand and scanned her surroundings, already recognizing the orange glow.

"Doctor โ€” " Peter tried to speak but a loud roar cut him off, making the couple jump and see a green reptile caged in a certain cage with a protective purple barrier.

The man from the bridge was there too and tried to break through but his hands got stuck in the purple barrier. A hand grabbed Peter's shoulder and he immediately cried out with a jump, panting heavily.

Stephen was in his normal attire and wore the red cape. "Be careful what you wish for, Parker."

"Let me out of here!" the man banged on the barrier.

"Oh, hell no," (Y/N) rolled her eyes at the sight of Stephen and tried to walk away, annoyed by just looking at him. "Absolutely not. I'm out."

"Can you please explain to me what is going on?" Peter questioned.

"That little spell that you botched where you wanted everyone to forget that Peter Parker's Spider-Man, it started pulling in everyone who knows Peter Parker's Spider-Man from every universe into this one," Stephen said.

"Spell? What are you talking about?" (Y/N) stopped on her tracks and joined Peter's side, eyeing him with a frown.

"From every universe?" Peter squeaked out.

"Who are you? And where am I?" the man with the mechanical arms asked.

"I think it's better we don't engage with them because, frankly, the multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little," Stephen informed, looking at (Y/N) from the corner of his eye.

Peter's eyes widened in surprise. "The multiverse is real?"

"This shouldn't even be possible," Stephen passed a hand across his face.

"Let's pause for a second," (Y/N) cut in, completely unaware of what was happening. "What spell are you talking about?"

Stephen's head snapped towards Peter's direction. "You didn't tell her? Listen โ€” "

"I asked Peter. Not you," she snapped.

"I'll tell you later," he muttered to her and then turned to the man. " I thought you stopped the spell."

"No, I contained it," Stephen explained. "But it would appear a few of them squeaked through. After you left, I detected an otherworldly presence. I pursued it into the sewers, where I found that. . .slimy, green son of a gun."

(Y/N) looked back at the reptile growling in one of the other strange cages with the barriers and then returned back to the conversation.

"Spell? As in magic?" the man from before spoke up. "What is this, a birthday party? Who is this clown? What is this madness?"

"Watch this," Stephen whispered before turning back to the man. "Do you know a Peter Parker who's Spider-Man?"

"Yes," the man said.

"Is that him?"

"No," he shook his head.

"See?" Stephen faced the two. "Okay, here's what we gotta do. I don't know how many visitors we've got โ€” "

"I saw another one on the bridge," Peter pointed out. "He was like a flying green elf."

"Well, he sounds jolly. Why don't you start with him?" Stephen said sarcastically. "I need you to capture them, bring them here while I figure out how to get them back before they destroy the fabric of reality, or worse, Wong finds out."

"Uh, Doctor Strange?" Peter called.

"What?"

"(Y/N) and I just got a second chance to get into MIT, and if the school sees us fighting these crazy monsters โ€” "

"Hey, watch your mouth," the man snapped.

"I'm sorry, but โ€” "

"Are you seriously still talking about college?" Stephen rolled his eyes and extended a hand towards Peter and pulled the nanotech from him before (Y/N) could protest, seeing how he took it into his hands and placed it in his forearm.

Stephen passed a hand over it with orange sparks covering the entirety of it, writing symbols on the side of it as Peter frowned in confusion. "Hey, what did you just do?"

"This," Stephen shot an orange string at Peter and it made him disappear before he reappeared in one of the empty cages.

"What did you โ€” " (Y/N) glared at Stephen.

"Hey, you can't just โ€” " Peter argued and tried to walk off but his face slammed against the barrier.

The man trapped inside the other cage turned to Stephen. "How did you do that?"

"Lots of birthday parties," Stephen replied and walked towards a heavy rock with different symbols written on it, moving it to the side to open the barrier from the cage Peter was in.

Peter walked out of it and caught the new artifact Stephen had made while he looked at him unimpressed. "One shot, send them here, move on. You're welcome. Get to work."

"Sir?"

Stephen huffed. "Now what?"

"I know this is my mess, and I swear that I'll fix it, but we're gonna need some help."
