"LOOK OUT!"

(Y/N) yelled out before she hurled a blast at the Chitauri that was charging at a man with orange shields in his hands, completely unaware of the situation until the girl caught his attention. The alien yelled in protest but it was all died out when (Y/N) lifted a rock and squashed the Chitauri underneath it, leaving the man surprised.

"You're okay?" she asked in a formal tone, trying to seem respectful to the man she just saved.

The man nodded at her in a thankful manner and dusted himself off. "I'm fine. Who are you?"

"I'm (Y/N)," she responded, slightly confused at the fact that he was asking for her name in the middle of a battle.

"You're Kiara's kid?" the man questioned in surprise, and this made (Y/N) frown as she nodded in confirmation.

"Yeah. You know her too?" she raised an eyebrow, hesitant of who this man was and how did he knew her guardian. "What's your name?"

"Wong," he said and didn't look back to aim a blow at an approaching Outrider. "I knew her well."

"What do you mean?" (Y/N) felt her heart thumping against her chest at the past tense he used.

"They haven't told you? Kiara's been dead for five years," Wong said with an empathic tone, and (Y/N) felt her heart stop. "The same day the attack on New York took place."

Wong didn't seem to see how his words were increasing on (Y/N)'s anger until he noticed how her eyes were slowly turning into a blue hue. He backed away in caution, already knowing something about a person with her powers.

"I'm sorry, kid — "

He didn't get to finish his sentence, since (Y/N) had thrusted her hands to the sides and pulled herself off the ground, regretting having to break the news for her in that moment.

THANOS USED HIS sword to block an attack directed his way and threw the opponent to the ground without effort before staring forward. "Where's Nebula?"

Corvus Glade stabbed a man with his spear without looking back and answered, "She's not responding."

"Sire," Proxima Midnight pointed to the side of the battlefield when she noticed Clint running with the gauntlet in hand, all six Infinity stones being placed in it.

Clint avoided every attack from the Chitauri and used his katana to slash through them when they got too close, an explosion knocking him off his feet before he rolled on the dirt and regained his balance, the gauntlet still placed under his arm. He used his bow to fire an arrow at the approaching alien and saw a group of other creatures snarling as they ran up to him before a purple blast threw them away.

King T'Challa called out for the archer. "Clint!" He removed the black mask from his face and gave him a nod. "Give it to me."

Clint handed the gauntlet to T'Challa and he took on a run the moment he held it in his hands, dodging every attack coming his way and kicking the aliens away while his suit glowed in a shade of purple as it absorbed the kinetic energy. T'Challa used this as an opportunity to direct a blast of energy to the ground before he ran again, but a sword knocked him off his feet and the glove flew out of his grasp.

Thanos extended his arm to grab the double-bladed sword in his hand with a smirk and charged at T'Challa before something stopped him, making his own eyes widen.

Blue mist shimmered as (Y/N) hit the ground in front of Thanos, two spheres of blue energy in her hands while her eyes glowed in the same color, a hard glare fixed on him as her breathing grew heavy.

"I lost everything because of you."

Thanos smirked when he recognized the color of her powers. "You're too weak to defeat me."

"Why don't you come and find out?" (Y/N) taunted with a sneer.

She opened her arms to the sides and her eyes glowed brighter, enveloping two pieces of debris in the air with her powers as she floated off the ground. With confidence, Thanos charged forward and blocked the debris with his sword as it was thrown at him, crumbling pieces falling around him.

(Y/N) landed on the ground and hurled an energy blast at him, that he blocked with his sword with effort, falling to his knees in the process. She continued to dodge every attempt he did at stabbing her, forming blast after blast.

Thanos raised his sword again and aimed it directly at her chest, and (Y/N) stopped it with two spheres of blue mist in her hands, grunting as Thanos pressed more pressure on the sword to drop her to her knees. He grinned wickedly as he saw how she was struggling, until he noticed that a smirk formed on her features as she tilted her head and aimed another blast at him.

Thanos lost his balance and the sword fell out of his hands, a part of it breaking from the power. (Y/N) raised a hand and pulled him in the air, blue mist wrapping all over his body as he let out a loud yell of pain when he gained altitude.

Parts of his armor were being pieced apart by her as she flicked her wrist to the side, the grunts growing louder from Thanos's throat. (Y/N) smirked as she heard it, the ground shaking underneath her because of this.

"Rain fire!" Thanos was able to choke out.

"But, sire, our troops!" Corvus Glade protested.

"Just do it!"

The cannons from the enormous ship in the air loaded themselves up before they fired at the ground below, electric blue laser blasts shooting at every direction of the field. It broke through the barrier that kept the lake in its place, and it caused everyone to take cover, even (Y/N), who easily formed a shield above her head.

"I GOT THIS," Peter grunted as the Outriders jumped all over him and he tried to deflect them with the metal legs in his suit. "Okay, I don't got this."

"Help, somebody help!"

Captain America perked up at his cry for help and he fixed his gaze on him. "Hey, Queens, heads up!"

He threw the Mjolnir in the air and it flew above Peter's head, giving him the chance to aim at web at the handle to pull him out of the Outriders' claws. He was pulled by the hammer until a blast from above cut through the web, making him free fall towards the ground until Pepper caught his arm and threw him toward Valkyrie and her pegasus.

"Hey! Nice to meet you — Oh, my God!"

Peter flew on the back of Valkyrie's pegasus as she tried her best to avoid the firing from the sky, swerving through every single one until one blast exploded right next to them, making the winged horse lose its balance and throw Peter off harshly to the ground.

Peter rolled off the ground and grabbed onto the gauntlet that was in his hands and pulled it to his chest, trying to protect himself from the blasts that were firing without loosing a rhythm. (Y/N) saw this from afar and she tried her best in making her way towards him carefully, avoiding the attacks until it all quieted down.

She saw how the cannons changed their aim and fired at the clouded sky, where there was no one in sight to get knocked down by the blasts.

"What the hell is that?" Sam Wilson asked.

"Friday, what are they firing at?" Tony questioned his AI.

"Something just entered the upper atmosphere."

Suddenly, breaking through the clouds appeared a bright ray of light and directly broke into the side of the enormous ship, breaking through   other side before she flew right in from below. The outline of Carol Danvers was visible for people to see just before she came out the ship and saw how it powered down before collapsing in the lake.

Carol landed on the ground in front of Peter and stared down at him with a raised eyebrow as he offered a smile with his arms still wrapped around the gauntlet.

"Hi, I'm Peter Parker," he said.

"Hey, Peter Parker," Carol smirked. "You got something for me?"

Peter grunted as he got to his feet and swallowed deeply when he saw the remaining creatures of Thanos's army charging directly at the two of them. "I don't know how you're gonna get it through all of that."

Wanda hit the ground besides Carol and (Y/N) joined their side in a second, all noticing how Valkyrie landed behind them in her pegasus. "Don't worry."

Okoye approached too, her spear being gripped on her hand. "She's got help."

Pepper's helmet fell back when she lowered herself into the ground, with Mantis and Shuri gathering up with the others too. (Y/N) winked at Peter before she shared a look with Carol, walking with the rest of them as Hope, Nebula and Gamora joined on either sides, preparing themselves for what was coming.

Wanda and (Y/N) took the air on the left and right while Pepper and Shuri used their laser blasts to hit the Chitauri gorillas running towards them. Valkyrie flew in her winged horse's back until she found her way blocked by two Leviathan, until blue and red mist stopped each one of them from moving any further.

Carol flew through the explosions with the gauntlet tucked under her arm, flying her way towards the van with the quantum tunnel to return the stones to their respective times when Thanos saw this and ran to stop it.

He was thrown back by three different energy blasts and rolled back to the ground, seeing how Carol was getting closer to the tunnel and grabbed his sword from the ground, aiming it directly at the quantum tunnel, causing a powerful explosion that knocked her back.

Carol hit the ground and the gauntlet slipped from her hands as she rolled on the dirt, their opportunity to leave the stones out of Thanos's hand being over.
