(Y/N) HAD BEEN to some parties throughout her life, but she wasn't used for them to be in an huge house with a much larger patio. She could already see all the cars parked in front of the house and the people dancing and having fun, which made her feel anxious all of the sudden.
"Ooh," Kiara stopped the car and leaned forward to get a closer look on the house. "A party in the suburbs. These were the ones May and I used to go. The good old days."
(Y/N) looked down at her hands before facing Kiara. "It will be a night I won't forget."
Kiara laughed, obviously not seeing the other meaning behind her words. She had offered to help (Y/N) with her makeup and wardrobe after hearing she'd been invited to a party, and everyone could say she did a pretty good job at it.
"Now, I trust you to be responsible," Kiara began her lecture, her hands still on the steering wheel. "No drinking, no smoking, and come back home in time for curfew."
"I promise I won't do anything stupid," (Y/N) nodded. "At what time is your flight?"
Kiara had to leave for what it seemed to be a job emergency, which she hadn't told (Y/N) anything about besides that. She looked extremely apologetic when she informed her, feeling bad that they had to cancel their plans together.
"In three hours," Kiara checked her watch. "May offered to give you a lift home if you want to leave early, so don't be afraid to give her a call."
"I will," (Y/N) opened the car door after pressing a kiss on Kiara's cheek as a goodbye and closed it behind her, rubbing her palms against her clothes to dry out her sweaty hands.
The car engine started behind her and she heard it drift away, and (Y/N) was still stuck in her spot, still doubting if it was a good idea.
"(Y/N)!" a voice she knew well called her from her side, and she turned on her heel and saw both Ned and Peter approaching her, the latter being more doubtful than the other.
"Hey," (Y/N) greeted. "Nice hat, Ned. It looks cool."
Ned gave her a smile. "Thanks. It gives me confidence."
(Y/N) returned the gesture and drifted her attention to Peter behind him, who seemed to be fascinated with the floor. She moved on her spot to stand in between the boys.
"You okay? You look like you're about to throw up," (Y/N) said.
"Hello to you too," Peter replied, his eyes still fixed on the floor since he'd gotten distracted in seeing (Y/N) all dressed up for the night, and he didn't know why.
"I'm serious."
"It's okay. I'm fine. Just nerves, is all."
The trio started walking towards the enormous house, which seemed to have thousands of windows all around, so (Y/N) was able to see pretty much everything that was happening inside. People were drinking from their red cups and giggling madly, some couples even hiding in the bushes to do their business without getting disturbed. The minds of teenagers was something too difficult to comprehend.
"Dude, you have the suit, right?" Ned whispered.
Peter pulled on his sleeve to reveal the red suit underneath it. "Yeah."
"I still don't think it's a good idea," (Y/N) protested. "Look."
She tugged on her clothes and showed her familiar blue and black suit underneath, making the boys' eyes grow wide when they noticed.
"Why โ "
"I have a bad feeling about all this," (Y/N) began, pulling her sleeve back down. "Call me paranoid or whatnot, but it's better to prevent it."
"I hope you're wrong," Peter took a deep breath, and the three continued their walk to the house.
"This is gonna change our lives," Ned smirked.
Upbeat and loud music played in the inside of the Toomes house, more people swarming in the place with chattering and laughs, talking among themselves with their drinks in hand. Flash was the one in charge of the music, headphones plugged in as he seemed to glow in self confidence.
"Okay. We're gonna have Spider-Man swing in, say you guys are right, and I get a fist bump or one of those half bro-hugs. Maybe the Blue Dame can make an appearance," Ned explained.
"Can't believe you're at this lame party," MJ made her presence known as she moved her curly hair out of her face to look at the trio.
"But you're here too," Ned frowned.
"Am I?" MJ took a bite out of her toast and began to walk away before she whirled around to say one last thing. "(Y/N), when you're bored from these losers, come and find me."
"I will," (Y/N) winked at her and ignored the offended looks they gave her.
"Oh, my gosh," Liz came into view in front of them, a cup in hand and a genuine smile on her face. "Hey, guys. Cool hat, Ned."
"Hi, Liz," (Y/N) and Ned replied with a polite smile.
"Hi, Liz," Peter tried to act casual, but his tone blew his cover. The nerves were evident in his voice, and his eyes had dilated right after seeing her.
"I'm so happy you guys came," Liz said. "There's pizza and drinks. Help yourself."
"What a great party," Peter smiled.
"Thanks."
The noise of glass breaking interrupted their conversation, and it was followed by the sound of a group of voices gasping and 'oohing' in surprise. The smile disappeared out of Liz's face.
"Oh, I โ " she looked where the sound had come from. "My parents will kill me if anything's broken. I gotta โ "
"Yeah."
"Have fun," Liz walked away.
"Bye," Ned saw her leave into the crowd and faced his friend. "Dude, what are you doing? She's here. Spider it up."
"No, no, no. I can't โ I cannot do this. (Y/N) was right," Peter protested. "Spider-Man is not a party trick, okay? Look, I'm just gonna be myself."
"Peter, no one wants that," Ned sighed.
"Dude," Peter frowned.
"That didn't help at all," (Y/N) winced and saw how Peter had an offended look on his face, starting to drift away and deeper into the house. She took a step forward to catch up with him and carefully tugged him by the arm, which made him turn around.
"Okay, listen," she held on to his shoulders. "You're gonna walk up to her, and you're gonna show her the amazing person Peter Parker is."
"(Y/N), you heard what โ "
"We've been over this already," (Y/N) seemed determined to make him feel better. "If you can't see it, I'll never get tired of reminding you."
The worry washed off Peter's face and his eyes softened, molding into (Y/N)'s touch as she looked at him with a look he knew too well. He nodded slowly, taking in her words as she removed her hands away from his shoulders.
"Penis Parker, what's up?" Flash interrupted loudly, his voice being over a microphone. "So where's your pal Spider-Man? Let me guess: in Canada with your imaginary girlfriend?"
Everyone around him laughed and this made (Y/N) glare back at Flash and the group as her head tilted to the side, seeing how Peter swallowed back the lump in his throat.
"That's not Spider-Man. That's just Ned in a red shirt," Flash kept on.

PETER HAD DISAPPEARED right after that, which made (Y/N) and Ned to start looking for him all around the house. They had separated as they explored the entire home when (Y/N) dared to look out one of the windows and spot who she was looking for.
She tried in not getting noticed and shrug out of her outfit and let the suit on, using her powers to pull herself off the ground and into the roof, where Peter's original clothes were scattered. A few feet away, was him, muttering to himself as he held his mask in hand and wore the suit.
"God, this is stupid. What am I doing?" he muttered to himself.
"You said it, not me," (Y/N) made her presence known, causing Peter to jump out of his skin, pressing a hand in his chest.
"Don't do that!" he whisper-yelled. "I thought you were someone else!"
(Y/N) was about to reply to the statement when a loud explosion distracted them both, watching how a cloud of electric blue smoke came out of the trees from far away. They both frowned and stood up to get a better view.
"What the hell?"
Peter pulled down the mask and aimed a web at the closest house to swing in the air, and (Y/N) had it easy, spheres of blue mist lifting her off the ground and move on a faster pace than him. Peter used his webs to balance himself through the trees and buildings, but suddenly stopped when they came across a plain field, which didn't have anything else other than grass.
"Hang on," (Y/N) lowered herself on the ground and offered a hand for him to take.
"Oh, no. I'm good," Peter said.
"We're in a hurry now. Do you prefer running or flying?" (Y/N) asked with a raised eyebrow, and he sighed in defeat and took her hand, but she decided it wouldn't help at all and wrapped an arm around him to secure him.
She thrusted her hand downward and a new sphere of blue power enveloped around the two of them, pulling them into the air as they got a higher altitude and tried to not loose sight of what they'd found.
"This sucks."

"NOW, this is crafted from a reclaimed sub-Ultron arm straight from Sokovia," a bearded man explained as his hands held a weapon, staring down at it with admiration. "Here, you try."
He placed it on the other man's hands, who didn't seem to enjoy the encounter too much. They were hiding under an abandoned bridge, but the loud and destructive explosions blew their cover straight away.
"I wanted something low-key. Why are you trying to upsell me, man?"
(Y/N) and Peter had found the source of the explosions and approached the scene carefully, hiding behind one of the concrete walls to avoid getting caught.
"Okay, okay. I got what you need, all right? I got tons of great stuff here. One sec," the bearded man moved over to the van and placed the weapon inside. "Okay. I got, uh, black-hole grenades, Chitauri rail guns. . ."
"You letting off shots in public now? Hurry up," another man came into view, his head shaved and had a deep voice. "Look, times are changing. We're the only ones selling these high-tech weapons."
"Oh, this must be where the ATM robbers got their stuff," Peter muttered to (Y/N).
"I just need something to stick up somebody. I'm not trying to shoot them back in time."
"I got antigrav climbers," the other kept listing, shuffling through the stuff inside the van.
"Yo, climbers?" this caught the man's attention, walking up to the van to get a closer look.
It was all interrupted when a loud yodeling ringtone broke through the scene, and Peter immediately got alarmed and tried to shut it off as (Y/N) stared at him in disbelief. Peter pulled the phone out of his suit and the image of Ned was seen on the screen.
"Are you shitting me?" she whispered.
"I didn't know I had it on," he defended.
The three men from below looked around to find where the sudden noise was coming from. "Okay, what the hell is that?"
The shaved man raised a gun at the person they were making the deal with. "Did you set us up?"
"Hey, hey, man," he raised his hands in surrender.
This was (Y/N)'s cue to jump to the floor and Peter to swing in after her, both pulling the attention away from the man held at gunpoint.
"Hey! Hey, come on. You gonna shoot at somebody, shoot at me," Peter opened his arms.
"All right," the gun was aimed at him but didn't get time to fire since Peter shot a web directly at it, pulling it away from the man's grasp.
(Y/N) saw the man close to the van searching for something and prepared herself for what was coming, raising her hands to protect her and Peter from the blast directed their way. The impact was way stronger, though, and it threw Peter back to the floor with a thud.
The men laughed and started the van, driving away from the bridge as Peter got up from the floor and dusted himself off with a groan.
"What was that?"
Peter shot a web at the edge of the car, which pulled him away along with the vehicle, and (Y/N) didn't think twice and followed after them, her powers getting her into the air as she tried to not loose sight of the van and Peter.
She saw how Peter kept swinging to the side and crash into everything that came through the street, and listened to the sound of another one of the high-tech weapons powering up, aiming at the two of them.
A pink blast fired through the van and destroyed a part of the street after (Y/N) dodged it, seeing more coming her way as one blasted the door off. Blocking and redirecting the shots was growing harder to do with every passing second.
(Y/N) put a hand in front of her and blue mist escaped through her fingers, pulling the weapon out of the man's grasp without any effort, and it seemed like the man wasn't expecting that at all.
Peter was still holding on to the web like his life depended on it until it finally snapped when the car took a harsh turn and crashed against a mailbox and a brick wall. (Y/N) and Peter saw how the truck drove away from their sight but wanted to keep trying.
"Great. Guess I'm gonna have to take a short cut," Peter said. "I don't want to try that again."
"Crybaby," (Y/N) rolled her eyes. "I'll follow from above. Find your own way, then."
(Y/N) was in the air once again and flew above the van to make them think that she had lost sight of them. The smoke trailing from the back of the vehicle was hard to miss and it seemed to leave a trail behind, but she was worried that Peter was left too far behind.
Every now and then during the chase she had to stop on the top of a random house, catching her breath and her hands growing tired from keeping her weight. She didn't lose the van though, she had a clear sight of them.
Right when she was prepared to launch at them from the front and attack them, she heard a loud and familiar shriek of fear close to her. (Y/N) squinted her eyes to see through the dark night sky and saw a winged and mysterious figure snatching Peter in the air, flying higher in the air as an animalistic sound escaped from the figure's throat.
(Y/N) felt her heart stop, she knew she wouldn't get high to their altitude in time. She saw how Peter removed himself from the person's grasp with a parachute in his back, the material wrapping around him as he fell down to the lake beneath him. (Y/N) didn't think twice, she dove after him.
She didn't care of the flying, vulture figure in the air anymore, she held her breath and dived in the lake, fighting the burn it felt in her eyes as she opened them to search for Peter in the water. (Y/N) was searching everywhere, until she felt herself getting tugged out of the water with strong force and into the air, a metal hand gripping her hand tightly.
The famous Iron Man suit had swooped in and pulled her and Peter out, the latter coughing and catching his breath as the metal suit carried them into the land safely.
". . .And then he just, like, swooped down like a monster and he picked me up, and took me up like a thousand feet and just dropped me," Peter finished his ramble as he drained the water out of his mask. "How'd you find us? Did you put a tracker in our suits or something?"
"I put everything in the suits," Tony said. "Including this heater."
"Whoa! Whew, that's better. Thanks," Peter rubbed his palms together as heat enveloped him.
(Y/N) stared down at her hands the entire time Peter explained the situation, feeling the intense stare of the suit's eyes looking at her. The heat covered her like a blanket, and the only thing she did was sigh in relief.
"What were you thinking?"
"The guy with the wings is the source of the weapons. I gotta take him down," Peter explained.
"Take him down now, huh?" Tony laughed drily. "Steady Crockett, there are people who handle this sort of thing."
"People like you?" (Y/N) raised her head and frowned.
"The Avengers?" Peter asked at the same time.
"No, this is a little below their pay grade," Tony revealed.
"Anyway, Mr. Stark, you didn't have to come out here," (Y/N) said. "We had it covered."
"Oh, I'm not here," the helmet opened up and it showed a hollow space where Tony was supposed to be, the sound of his voice being muffled as it changed through a phone call.
"Thank God this place has Wi-Fi, or you would be toast right now," he said. "Thank Ganesh while you're at it. Look, forget the flying vulture guy, please."
"Why?"
"Why? Because I said so!" Tony snapped. "Sorry, I was talking to teenagers. Stay close to the ground. Build up your game helping little people, like that lady that bought you a churro."
"Can't you two just be friendly, neighborhood Blue Dame and Spider-Man?"
"But you said we had potential, you said we were ready for more! And we are!" (Y/N) exclaimed.
"No, you're not," The helmet of the suit closed off.
"That's not what you thought when I us took on Captain America!" Peter defended.
"Trust me, kid. If Cap wanted to lay you out, he would've," Tony said. "Listen to me. If you come across these weapons again, call Happy."
A loud cae engine roared over the speaker of the suit.
"Are you seriously driving right now?"
"You know, it's never too early to start thinking about college," Tony ignored the question. "I got some pull at MIT. End call."
"No, I don't need to go to โ " Peter tried to say but was cut off, the suit loosing its posture and standing stiffly in the air.
"Mr. Stark is no longer connected," the AI said and flew off.
"That's awesome," Peter muttered.
The two walked through the neighborhood they'd chased the van into, the damage being done all over the street and parts of houses all around, when a glowing light caught their eye.
(Y/N) kneeled down to get a closer look and moved it carefully to see the glowing object inside it. It was letting out a quiet hum and it was a neon pink color, which was unusual.
The loud yodeling ringtone caught through the scene again and Peter reached out to grab it, clicking on the green button when he saw Ned's contact on the screen before placing it in his ear.
"Hey, man. What's up? We're on our way back," Peter said.
"Actually, I was calling to say maybe you shouldn't come. Listen," Ned was on speaker and made it easier for them to listen what was going through the other line.
"When I say 'penis', you say 'Parker'," Flash's voice was recognizable and it was easy to imagine the smirk he had on his face. "Penis! Parker! Penis! Parker!"
Peter dropped his head and (Y/N) rubbed his back reassuringly as she muttered, "I swear, the next time I see him, I'll kick him in the face."
"I'm sorry, Peter. I guess we're still losers, I'll see you tomorrow."
"I'll see you tomorrow in school."
