Zach when he dips you for your ballroom dancing performance.

The bell rings, giving you an overwhelming sense of peace. You gather every book in the crook of your arm and slung your backpack over your shoulder where it hung loosely. You pushed a strand hair behind your ear. You heard someone calling your name, you see Zachary Dempsey with his famous Letterman jacket on. "Dempsey." You said with a small smile growing to your lips.

"[Y/L/N]," He mimicked.

You rolled you eyes and shifted onto your right leg, giving you a sassy stance. He clutches his backpack straps and smiles goofy like. He starts to stutter, you couldn't help to chuckle at this. You raise your eyebrow suspiciously. "My mother's signing me up for ballroom dancing." He spits out. You nod waiting for him to continue on

"And I was asking you... do you want to be my- um partner?" He asked.

"Well, I liked to wooed-" You tease him, but his face falls and looks towards his shoes.

"I'm kidding Dempsey, don't have to be too hard on yourself. Sure, I'd love to be your partner." You reassure with a genuine smile.

"Meet me at my house like 6:30." He says. "Wear something you can dance in."

"Will do." You gave him a captain salute mockingly, he chuckled then left the room. You couldn't help to find giddy inside. Zach was a crush at sometime in your life, but you gave up thinking you two would still be in the friend zone. You smiled to yourself and walked to your next class which was Biology.

You put on black yoga pants and an over sized t-shirt with my Adidas . You put your hair into a high ponytail and drove to Zach's house. You wait patiently as Zachary came in with a black t-shirt and a pair of grey shorts. He comes out with a smile on his face and says, "Ready?" You nod. He leads you to his 2013 Audi S5 convertible. You watch the trees as they pass by as Zach just quietly drives.

"We're here." He says.

You get out of the car. After you two got inside, you started to learn how to ballroom dance. Zach kept stepping on your toes and you would do the same occasionally. As you learned the ballroom dance, your teacher surprised you on a performance. Which meant you had to present yourself to the whole class and do a routine that was similar to ballroom dancing and a song to go with it.

It was the time of the performance. You were wearing a long black and white ombre dress. You had your [h/c] lightly curled, Zach was wearing a sleek black tux. He leaned down to whisper in my ear, "You're going to do great. Just follow my lead." He reassured you.  You nod, you were linked arm in arm. You and him waited for your cue, you walk out there where everyone was. 

The music to 'Can't Help Falling In Love' by Haley Reinhart starts out, you and Zach get in the ballroom dancing position. The lyrics starts to play, you take a deep breath. Butterflies erupted in your stomach. You ignored the feeling.

  Wise men say only fools rush in...  

You looked into his deep brown eyes as your feet step back he leads. Your feet then stepped forward doing the classic ballroom dance.

But I can't help fallin in love with you.

Zach's hand which was holding on your hand, twirled you. Your dress twirls as he twirls you. You feel a rush of wind under your dress, making you smile at him. He reflects your smile, you two go back into the same position. It was a calm song, her voice was so smooth. It made you feel light as air. You felt as you two were the only one in the room

  Oh, shall I stay would it be a sin?

The chorus came.

  Oh, if I can't help fallin in love with you  

He twirled me again, you knew some ballet moves because you had to take a class when you were four. You started to dance around the whole stage doing pirouettes. You perform a jete*.

  Take my hand  

You went over back to Zach who was standing there. He held his hand out and you took it as you both ballroom dance. He whispered, "You did really great out there."

You and him ballroom dance until it was the almost of the end of the song. As three last lyrics played, Zach got into a position that he was going to dip you. You kinda freaked out but covered it up and went with his lead, his hand left your lower back but his hand clasped firm on your hand. You breathe and fall, his hand yanked you up. His other hand caught your shoulder, making your breath shaky. His hand that was holding you hand was gone, his hand went up to your cheek.

"I like you, [Y/N]." He whispered softly. His thumb rubbed over my cheek softly. His lips softly attach to mine. Butterflies erupted, your lips tingled at the touch of his. It hits you, that you liked him too.

The class erupts with cheers, he pulled away but his head was still fairly close. 

"I like you too." You said.

WE HIT 700 VOTES! OH MY GOSH! So here's a surprise chapter. I actually loved doing this chapter but I'm a little rusty on writing dance scenes. But thanks so much guys. I'm almost to 100 followers. But really thanks so much. I never got this before. Should I make another book on 13 Reasons Why? If so what character?
