Jeff when he realized that he really likes Anaya and shouldn't have set up Clay on a date with her.

As I sat there pinching the bridge of my nose, Clay rambles on about the history of the Trojan War. How did he know all of this stuff? Someone distracted me, it was Anya. She smiled at me and said; 

"Hey Jeff and"
 she acknowledges Clay with a nod. 

"Clay."

"H-hey A-Anya."
 Clay stuttered. Anya furrows her eyebrows, she shrugs.

"See you around Clay and Jeff!"
 She says perkily, she then walks out of the library. I admit that I kinda like Anya, she was so free spirited, I loved that about her. Clay looked sheepishly at me.

"Can I tell you something, Jeff?"

"You like Anya right?"
I ask while raising my eyebrow.

He nods sheepishly; 

"I'm just too scared to talk to her."
I nod, maybe I should set these guys on a date. I never seen Clay act all nervous around a girl. Clay was awkward with girls but I never seen this. Me, being a good friend, I was going to set up Anyya and Clay.

"Clay you seem like you like her, I'm going to set up a date for you with Anya."
I informed him. He protests but I deny his protests.

Arriving to Anya's locker, I shoved my hands into my pockets. She finally notices me, her face lights up. 

"Hey Jeff! What do I earn from your pleasant surprises?"

"Hey Anya." I started off. 

"You know my friend Clay-"

"Clay Jensen?"
She ask to confirm.

"Yeah him. He likes you. Like really likes you."
I started off by saying. I could see her cheeks were rapidly blushing. 

I shook it off and said, 

"I wanted to set you guys up on a date so I confirm it to Clay to meet you at Monet's tomorrow night."
Her eyes lit up.

She engulfs me into a hug, I was taken back. I slowly wrapped my arms around her, hugging her back. She pulls away, she smiles at me showing her dimples at me. 

"Thanks so much Jeff. I always liked Clay but I was too scared to ask him about it,"
 she says sheepishly. She then closes her locker door which was open the whole time, she then skips along the schools hallway.

I sighed. I pinch the bridge of my nose. I shouldn't have set Clay up with Anya. Now I feel my true feelings for Anya. It was love.
