'lying beside you with you wanting me.'

As I pulled my keys out, Charlie walked out of his room, a sly grin forming on his face. "What do you want?" I rolled my eyes.
"So, you and Owen, huh?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"No, not 'me and Owen.' Goodnight, Charles." I put finger quotes around his phrase, going to unlock my door.
"Hey, wait." Charlie grabbed my keys out of my hand.
"If you don't give my keys back right now, I swear to God, I will kick you in the balls so hard you won't be able to have children." I glared at him. I had been up since 4am and only got to eat lunch. This boy shouldn't dare mess with me.
He held his hands up in surrender, backing up a little. "Look, all I gotta say is that you two are cute together. I could see something happening between you guys. Anddd I think Owen likes you." He teased, handing my keys to me.
"Whatever. Owen doesn't like me." I huffed, unlocking the door to mine and Savannah's shared apartment.
"That's not what he says." Charlie smirked.
"Goodnight, Charles." I repeated, slamming the door.
Once I heard the boy's door close, I let out a breath that I had been holding. So many thoughts were running through my brain. Does Owen really like me? Is Charlie being serious for once? What is this going to do to our friendship? Should I say something to Owen about it? No. I'm not bringing it up unless he does first.
Sighing, I pushed myself off of the door, walking to my room. I put my things down, jumping onto my bed, not wanting to change or take off my makeupโ just sleep.
I yawned, forcing myself to get off the bed. Once I was makeup free, I changed clothes, starting to get ready for bed. As soon as I laid down, my phone started ringing. Groaning, I picked it up, my heart beginning to race as I stared at the caller ID.
I took a deep breath before answering. "Hey, O."
"Hey, did I wake you up?" He asked. It sounded like he was the one who just woke up.
"No, you didn't. I just got home." I told him.
"Oh," he yawned, "Charlie woke me up talking to somebody in the hall."
"Yeah, that was me."
"Ugh, so you're the one who interrupted my beauty sleep." He joked tiredly.
"Guilty. Lord knows you need that beauty sleep."
Owen gasped, "Rude!" I laughed, shaking my head.
"So what did he want?" He asked.
My breath hitched, remembering the conversation. 'Anddd Owen likes you.' I cleared my throat.
"Oh, you know.. Just Charlie being Charlie." I laughed awkwardly, hoping he would ask anything else about it.
"Um, okay? Well, it looks like he's out cold now. I can finally have some peace and quiet. I'll see you tomorrow, New Girl." Owen said.
"Yeah. Bye, Hotdog." I smiled. Scoffing, Owen laughed, saying his goodbyes.

I was woken up by loud knocking on my door. Groaning, I rolled out of bed, going to the door. Charlie was standing there, looking back at his room.
"Hurry, you gotta hide me." He rushed past me, looking for a place to hide.
"What are you doing here and why are you hiding in my room?" I asked, closing my door.
"I may or may not have put food coloring in Owen shampoo and Savannah was asleep." He frantically explained, hiding under my bed.
"Wha- I was asleep too!" I huffed, sitting on my bed, "If Owen doesn't kill you, I will."
Minutes later, Owen busted open the door, a towel wrapped around his waist and blue dye running down his face. "Where is he?"
"Under the bed." I smirked.
"Aisla!" Charlie yelled as Owen pulled him out from under the bed. Before Owen could do anything, Charlie sprinted out of the room. "Oh, you're so dead." Owen said, running after him.

"You're lucky that I wear a hat 90% of the time in the show." Owen glared at Charlie.
"Dude, it will come out after like 2 more washes." He told him.
I watched as the pair bickered back and fourth. They really were like an old married couple. Laughing, I snapped a picture of the two, smiling down at my phone.
"What are you so smiley about? Texting your boyfriend?" Charlie asked.
"Boyfriend?" Owen's head shot up as he stared at me.
"What? I-" Charlie cut me off.
"Yeah, his name is Austin. They've been dating for weeks now." Charlie lied. I glared at him. Before I could say anything else, Owen had left the room.
"What's your problem? Do you want to ruin my life?" I huffed, jumping up from the couch.
"I was just proving a point." Charlie shrugged, plopping down on the spot. I had to go find Owen.
Walking into their apartment, I looked around, not seeing the blonde anywhere. "Owen? You in here?" Not hearing a response, I knocked on his bedroom door.
"Go away." He paused for a moment, "Please."
"O, you okay?" I asked, listening.
"Just peachy." His voice was muffled from the door.
"Can I come in?" I waited for him to answer. Instead, I heard the door unlock. Opening the door, I found Owen sitting on the ground, his hands in his lap as he picked at his nails. I sat down beside him, opening my mouth to speak, but he beat me to it.
"Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend? We tell each other everything...How come you told Charlie and not me? Do you not trust me anymore? Do you not want to be friends any-" I grabbed his hands, stopping his rambling.
"I don't have a boyfriend." I told him.
"But Charlie said-" I shook my head.
"Charlie's an idiot. I don't know why he did that." I rolled my eyes. Owen sighed, rubbing the back of my hand mindlessly.
"I'm sorry I stormed out like that. I just felt hurt that you didn't want to share something like that with me." He said quietly.
"It's okay, O. If and I repeat if I find a boyfriend, you're going to be the first person I tell." I told him.
Owen smiled, laughing a little. "Thanks. I feel special."
"My special Hotdog." I teased.
"Ew, that sounds so gross." His face scrunched up, making me laugh.
"Come on. The guys waiting to get to set." I stood up, pulling him with me. We walked back into my apartment, still hand in hand with a smirking Charlie staring at us.
