Far from the light (wink wonk ;D)...
Time set: Attack Of The Clones
.
(Y/N) POV.
We have all gotten to the docks where a person was already waiting for us with a speeder. Padmé has also gotten on a beautiful ombre dress at her home before we came here. The three of us sat down into the speeder as the man who was already there started it up. I looked around taking in every detail of the area. How the water rippled as the speeder flew across it. The sunshine illuminating everything in its path and the buildings on the island which was getting closer by the second.
"You're looking around like you've never been here before." Padmé laughed looking at my face.
"Well, I've never been in this part of the planet." I replied still warching my surroundings.
A comfortable silence settled as we arrived to a smaller dock at the island. The man stepped out first grabbing the bags and helping Padmé out first. Anakin then got out and held out a hand which I greatfully took and he pulled me out of the speeder. The man rushed away with the bags into the house while the three of us stayed.
"When I was in Level Three, we used to come here for school retreat. See that island? We used to swim there every day. I love the water." Padmé said looking over a balcony we stopped at.
"Me too! Well I couldn't exactly swim because the water was absolutely freezing back on Alderaan." I chuckled.
"I do too. I guess it comes from growing up on a desert planet." Anakin added glancing at me.
"Well, I'll head inside." Padmé started turning to the house. "There will be a big open area right here, and then a hallway to the right will take you to a kitchen and dining room."
She explained pointing in the directions.
"On the left hallway there will be a small staircase which leads up to a small room and from there the the right is my room, (Y/N) and Anakin, your's will be to the left." She smiled and dissapeared into the house.
I was left alone once again with Anakin who was right beside me by the edge. I continued to look over to terrain, the mountains and everything in my sight.
"Everythings so beautiful here." I said with a small smile.
"Yeah..." Anakin mumbled stealing another glance at me.
"Do you think there's a way to go down to the beach? Oh, that would be amazing! I saw that it had sand and not rocks like in Alderaan." I rambled leaning on the rail.
"I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here--" He started but I cut him off.
"Why are we even talking about sand?" I furrowed my brows with a laugh.
(A/N: I'm sorry, I had to. I couldn't resist lmao)
"I don't know." Anakin let out a chuckle.
"I miss Alderaan." I sighed thinking about my home planet. "It's been to long since I've seen it."
"I would like to visit it too." He told me.
I felt him put his hand on my own and I looked up at him, meeting eyes with his.
"It must be a beautiful place," Anakin tucked a piece of hair behind my ear whispering the last part. "Just like you."
A blush crept on my cheeks at his words as we stared into eachothers eyes. Before my mind even processed it his lips met mine. And I didn't resist. I was so caught up in the moment I forgot about the code's number 1 rule and let my heart do it's own thing. Like a switch turned in me my eyes widened and I pushed him away slightly.
"I shouldn't have done that." I muttered
"I'm sorry. When I'm around you, my mind is no longer my own." Anakin mumbled looking down.
"I-- Will talk about this later, okay? Excuse me for a second." I said making my way to the house.
I rushed inside recalling what Padmé told me and turned left into the hallway. I saw the stairs and sprinted up them leaving out a few steps. Once I reached it I saw Padmé sitting on a sofa with a book in her hand.
"Padmé!" I yelled rushing up to her.
"Yes? Oh--" She gasped as I grabbed her wrist and tugged her to her room.
"Girl talk." I answered simply.
I sat her down on a chair I saw and closed the door using the force. She blinked a few times before fully turning to me.
"What is this--" Padmé started.
"He kissed me!" I cut her off holding a hand over my lips.
"Wha-- wait really, who?" She asked smiling.
"Anakin, who else!" I answered in slight frustration.
"Oh my god, yes!" Padmé squeeled with a grin but it soon fell. "Wait, but isn't that breaking a rule in--"
"Yes, it is." I muttered slumping down onto her bed.
"Did you pull away?" She interrogated.
"Is this really so important--"
"But did you pull away though?" She dragged out the words looking at me like she was a detective.
"Well, I mean yes but no..." I stuttered. "What am I supposed to do?"
"Honestly, I have no idea." Padmé shrugged.
"Wow, really helpfull!" I groaned stuffing my face into a pillow.
"Well, I would say do what you think is right but that would be against the jedi order. I guess if it stays a secret then it's fine but it would be discovered sooner or later." She explained her opinion pacing around the room. "So I really don't know."
"Great...awsome." I mumbled into the pillow.
"Okay, let's start a small therapy session." Padmé joked sitting on the side of the bed.
"Oh, goodness me." I whispered.
"Do you like him?"
"What?" I asked snapping my head towards her.
"You heard me." She smiled. "Have you ever stared at him?"
"Padmé!" She gave me a glare. "Fine, I admit, I have."
"Do you find him attractive?" Padmé questioned raising an eyebrow.
"Okay, okay...yeah, I do." I shook my head with a grimace after seeing her grin widen.
"Do you find him funny and all the other stuff?" She asked to which I groaned with a small nod. "Oh, you actually do like him!"
"Yeah, I think I get that now!" I told her rolling over to the other side.
"Alright, this is absolutely awsome and bad at the same time." Padmé exclaimed realizing my situation.
"I know, I know..."
"Well, how about to figure out what to do...you two could go to a field and spend a little time together." She gave the idea.
"I mean that could work." I shrugged.
"Great, then it's settled! You and Anakin are going to the field tomorrow." Padmé smiled and stood up. "By the way that dress looks amazing on you, thank my great eyes for seeing it."
"Sometimes I wonder if I am happy that I got to know you or I want to push you off the balcony in Coruscant." I muttered as she pulled me up.
"Oh no, hun, you adore me!" Padmé grinned patting my head.
The two of us headed down the stairs to the hallway I came from. She led the way down the other corridor where we were met with Anakin walking around the dining room. I gave him a shy smile once we met eyes and he gave one back, although I saw Padmé smirk at the interaction. The sun was already setting and the orange rays illuminated the place.
We all sat down at the table that was already filled with food. A girl, who's name I believe was Nandi, set down three plates of fruit beside us while Anakin continued to talk about one of his missions with Obi-Wan.
"...So when I got to them, that's when we started the uh, agressive negotiations." He explained which made me laugh.
"Agressive negotiations? What's that?" Padmé asked with a chuckle.
"Negotiations with a lightsaber." Anakin replied with a small smile.
"Oh, I'm familiar with that." I said putting a random fruit on my plate.
"Wow, Master Yoda's padawan doing agressive negotiations. That's a sight I would like to see." He answered smugly.
I wacked his head with the force which made him glare at me jokingly. I was about to jab the fruit with my fork when it suddenly moved. I furrowed my brows as it flew up into the air and started floating. A smile drew itself onto my face as I watched Anakin making it fly to his plate with a laugh. Padmé raised her eyebrows at me while turning to her own food.
"If Master Obi-Wan caught me doing this, he'd be very grumpy." Anakin said with a grin.
"That's for sure." I chuckled.
I watched as he cut off a piece from it and raised his hand floating it back to me. I raised my fork and jabbed it into it once it was right beside me. I smiled at him once more before finally being able to eat.
After a lot more of talking we have all agreed in going to bed. I changed into some comfortable robes before sitting down at the small area with a sofa and other necessary things. I couldn't sleep yet so I watched the fire sizzle in the fire place for a while. Suddenly I felt someone enter the room and turned to see Anakin walk in.
"Can I join you?" He asked motioning to the seat beside me.
"Oh, of course." I replied scooting over a bit.
He sat down beside me and there was a small pause of silence.
"May I tell you something?" Anakin questioned glancing at me.
"Depends what it is. Good or bad?" I asked back.
"Well, I'm not sure myself." He answered truthfully.
"Go on then."
"From the moment I met you, all those years ago, a day hasn't gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm close to you again, I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worse it gets. The thought of not being with you makes my stomach turn over, my mouth goes dry. I feel dizzy. I can't breathe. I'm haunted by the kiss you should never have given me. My heart is beating, hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul, tormenting me. What can I do? I will do anything you ask..." Anakin ranted out his feelings.
There was a small silence. I had to think over what he just told me.
"If you are suffering as much as I am, tell me." He pleaded.
"Look, Anakin, honestly I do feel the same way," I started which made his eyes light up. "But you know we can't be together."
"Anything's possible. (Y/N), please listen..." Anakin looked into my eyes.
"I'm listening, but jedi aren't allowed to be in a relationship. We both swore an oath, remember? We'd be expelled from the Order." I explained.
"It wouldn't have to be that way...we could keep it a secret." He replied hesitantly.
"But what if they found out? Then we would be in so much trouble, I don't want to throw my whole life away..." I muttered.
"They won't, we'd be carefull." Anakin tried to reason.
I paused once more and thought about the situation. If we could keep it a secret and leave no hints that we were in a relationship it could be possible. I really do like Anakin and I would do anything to be with him so I guess we could try. What's life without a little risk?
"I suppose we can atleast try and see what happens." I sighed.
I saw Anakin grin at my words and stood up picking me up and twirling me around in happiness. A laugh escaped my lips as I nudged him to let me down.
"Tomorrow morning meet me down by the entrance, we could spend some time together to see if it works out." I told him with a smile.
"Alright." He grinned like a giddy kid.
I gave him one last look while I dissapeared into the dark hallway. My assigned room was at the end of the hallway which had a balcony. Opening the sliding door with the force and closing it right after I sat down on the bed. What the hell did I just agree to? Oh, well. Hopfully Master Yoda won't find out because then that would be a life or death situation. I slipped into the comfortable sheets after putting my hair into a (Y/C) style which was perfect for sleeping. Once I closed my eyes I was met with one of my familiar dreams.
.
The dark void that surrounded me stood at a sickening silence as I realized the nightmare.
Shots rang through the air and blaring sirens which sounded awfully like a star destroyers. There were plenty of voices that yelled all types of different things at the same time so I couldn't make out what they were saying.
Soon the blackness around me turned into a large room with peoples backs facing me and a person who I couldn't see. But the most I could make out was that they were sith's.
"Are you hearing yourself? That's insane!" A deep voice shouted that probably belonged to someone in their 30's or 20's.
"Of course, I know that!" Another yelled.
"He's right...that is unacceptable." An older voice replied calmly.
There was a loud bang that was probably because of the 'insane' one hitting his fists on something.
"I just want to see my sister!" He yelled in anger.
The scene infront of me turned into dust as it started to swirl around my form. I looked around in panic because this never happened before. Yells and screams filled my ears from every direction of someone begging another to stop. Shots being fired. Lightsabers clashing and being ignited.
"You killed him!" A womans voice screamed in fury.
A double bladed lightsaber filled my sight for a second before it dissapeared. Then it all started repeating over and over and over. I held my head in my hands as I turned around begging myself to wake up. As I opened my eyes one last thing caught my eyes. A boy with sandy blonde hair stood infront of me with scars running along his face. I could recognize him from anywhere.
"Come and find me." He shouted.
.
My eyes snapped open and I sat up in the bed in a hurry. My heart was beating fast and my breathing was hurried breaths. My mind was rushing around with questions nobody could answer me. He was alive, the person I once loved with all my heart was alive. The person who betrayed my family thinking it would help us.
"Jaster..." I whispered with wide eyes.
He was alive.
My brother was alive.
•So yes, hehehe. That all just happened. Now I can get into the good stuff >;). Sorry that this part is a little shorter, I don't want to pool everything into one chapter. I hope you all like it btw.
Also I decided to make Y/N and Padmé literal bestie's lmao because in most of the fanfics I read there was some type of rival situation going on.
Next part/parts coming next week on Friday! Bye bye <3
