YOU FOUND YOURSELF IN A MEDIUM-SIZED BEDROOM THAT WAS FAIRLY COLD AT THE MOMENT. the bedroom looked very neat and organized when your eyes glanced around it. the walls inside of the room were painted light blue and a lavender chandelier was hanging from the ceiling in the middle. a neat, queen-sized bed with lavender sheets and light blue pillows was at the back of the room, fitting well with the walls and the chandelier. two, lavender nightstands sat on each side of the bed. both of the nightstands had a lamp, but one of them had a light blue, rifle stand and the other one had three, framed photos that were standing neatly next to each other. the whole bed room combined didn't seem like much, but it still seemed really pretty to you.

"where are we right now?" you softly asked hannah, raising an eyebrow slightly. "i know we're in a bedroom right now, but are we inside of a house? it definitely seems like a house to me since this is a bedroom." you put a finger on your chin, even more curiosity sparking in your mind. your eyes peered around the room once more, memorizing a lot of the features that it had. "but at the same time, it really doesn't. so, i'm not really sure." you shrugged after making that statement, blinking a few times as well.

hannah walked over to the queen-sized bed and carefully put her purple staff near the nightstand before sitting down on the soft, cozy mattress. "we're in caitlyn's room right now of bit rush headquarters, the place where you can train in order to prepare to fight the battle bosses." she explained to you as she put a hand on her hip. "you may know caitlyn already from the shooter series, 'sniper cop'. that game series is quite popular, so you have probably played it before."

her black eyes soon shot over towards a framed photo of her and a different girl who was slightly taller taking a picture next to each other. it seemed pretty old, but hannah didn't seem to care at all. in fact, it was one of her favorite photos that she took with someone else. she definitely treasured it inside of her heart. it painted many unforgettable memories in her mind like experiencing a colorful sunset at the end of a golden, summer day. she hoped that they will never escape her mind so she could commemorate them for all of eternity.

you saw both of hannah's eyes dart towards the photo, immediately noticing that the other girl in it was the hero of the 'sniper cop' series herself, caitlyn. you knew who caitlyn was since you have played all of the games in the 'sniper cop' series and always selected caitlyn as your character. now you wondered if hannah was dating caitlyn, especially because of the conversation that occurred earlier at the city jail. so, being the curious person you were, you decided to ask the rule giver if your conclusion was indeed true or not. "hannah, is caitlyn your girlfri-" before you could continue your question, your ears heard a voice near the front walls, slowly recognizing who it was.

"no one has better be touching my stuff!" a firm, feminine voice called out from behind the walls, carefully sliding the brown door open with one of her hands. the tall female soon went inside and slid the door back, being met with the sight of you and and hannah inside of her room. she let out a relieved sigh, wiping some sweat off of her forehead with her thumb. "oh, it's just you hannah, and i see that you brought along someone else. this is the person that you teleported to arcadia city so they could help us save the game if i'm correct?" she questioned hannah, raising a curious eyebrow at her.

hannah nodded at her, getting up from the comfortable bed she sat on and then going over to stand in front of the pink-eyed female. "of course, babe! i wouldn't teleport someone into this game if they weren't trustworthy for a task like this." she told her, lightly chuckling at the comment she made.

the tall, pink-eyed female let out a small groan, wanting to be annoyed at hannah for calling her a pet name. yet, it was hard for her to ignore the way how her soft lips formed a small smile when her significant other called her that. she only lowered her wall completely when hannah was around after all, unless she was feeling moody about something. "ok, good. we wouldn't want any outsiders causing havoc in arcadia city or infecting the game with a virus. that would cause major damage that would cost more than just a large fine." she told her girlfriend, adjusting the pink and purple hat that sat on top of her head with her free hand before setting it on her hip. a frustrated sigh soon escaped her lips though, her smile from before fading away as if it was never there in the first place.

hannah saw through caitlyn's eyes like a ghost. she knew her girlfriend from the back of her hand. there was a lot of weight that she carried on her shoulders everyday, and hannah was there to witness it most of the time. caitlyn was on the edge; her wall was on the verge of breaking, which worried hannah a lot. if it completely broke, then hannah wouldn't see the same caitlyn again.

so, the brown-haired female softly grabbed her girlfriend's gloved hand and intertwined it with hers, gently squeezing it as she did so. she felt caitlyn hesitantly return the gentle gesture, warmth radiating from both of their hands now. "caitlyn, i know that the battle bosses are planning on spreading a virus that could infect a lot of the games and potentially cause a lot of damage to this entire city, but you need to stop worrying so much about this. you need to take a break and have a calm mind about all of this." hannah cooed, tracing soft patterns on her lover's hand. "it's ok to feel worried sometimes, but it isn't ok to feel worried to the point of crumbling like a cookie."

"but i-" caitlyn started, being quickly cut off by hannah before she could say anything else.

"don't 'but' me caitlyn. you need to get some rest, especially before tomorrow. everyone is resting right now in the lounge, and you should too," hannah explained to caitlyn, using a motherly tone of voice as she did so. she continued to trace light patterns on caitlyn's gloved hand, letting out a quiet sigh after a few seconds of silence. "your duty can wait for tonight. even i have to rest from doing my responsibilities as the rule giver sometimes."

caitlyn let out a small breath, doing her best to brush off the feeling of possible failure that she felt in her brain. "alright, i'll get some rest for tonight with the others. i just need to put my rifle away real quick." even though she still felt a little bit hesitant about getting some rest at the moment, she still listened to hannah's kind advice. plus, she was quite exhausted from fighting in her own game and needed a breather from it anyways.

the sheriff soon removed hannah's hand from hers gently before walking over to the rifle stand and carefully placing her multicolored rifle on it without saying another word.

you made a light fist with one of your hands and awkwardly coughed into it, breaking the silence that was dominating the entire bedroom before. "i'm sorry for breaking the silence here, but what do you mean by 'before tomorrow', hannah?" you questioned her, raising a suspicious eyebrow at the brown-haired female while giving her a skeptical look. "is there an important event tomorrow or what?"

hannah turned herself towards you, staring at your face with her soft, black eyes as she did so. "the arcade heroes will start fighting the battle bosses tomorrow in each area, and you will be fighting alongside them." the rule giver said, cheerfully smiling at her next comment. "your boyfriend will be glad to see you today in the lounge. he's been waiting for your arrival ever since i told him that i was going to teleport you here. he's also the one who sent you at least one letter per week. i had to get out of the game to bring them to the post office though, which always took awhile since the post office is a few miles from the arcade." she explained while sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck at the thought.

she walked towards caitlyn's bed again and carefully grabbed her staff, gently tapping it onto the ground twice. a purple hologram of multiple character profiles abruptly appeared above the long staff, which displayed each of their stats that they had. "anyways, these are the possible characters that you can fight with. you probably know most of these characters since a majority of them are from the real world. you've also played every game at the arcade. before we fight the battle bosses tomorrow, you have to fill out a form of who you want to fight with." the female told you softly, gesturing to the purple hologram that was above her staff.

"why do i need to fill out a form?" you asked hannah, blinking a few times again. "i'm not against doing that, i'm just wondering."

"it's just so i can keep track of which characters are the most popular in this game so players can get recommendations on who to play as just in case they don't know who to choose," hannah explained to you with a kind smile written on her face. "make sure to fill out the form carefully if you do one. failure to do so will result in the form being denied, so i recommend that you take your time doing it and double-check that you filled out everything that was required."

hannah then tapped her purple staff onto the ground two times again, causing the hologram above it to disappear completely. she gave caitlyn a small nod as she went over to the sheriff and flashed her a contented smile. "i'm all set, so we can go to the lounge now!" she happily exclaimed as she gave her a thumbs up afterwards.

with that being said, caitlyn slid the door open and walked out into the large hallway. she moved towards the side of the door afterwards so she could let you and hannah out before she closed it. once you and hannah were out, caitlyn softly closed the door with her hand and wiped off some sweat that lingered on her forehead.

you noticed that hannah started going towards the front of the hallway and followed the tall female in suit, silently humming to yourself as you did so.

the walk wasn't that long at all since you guys had reached the front of the hallway within a minute. there was another sliding door that looked similar to all of the other ones you saw in the hallway. however, it shined a little bit brighter than all of the other doors and was more polished.

hannah eventually opened the door and walked inside, happily gesturing towards the entire room around her. her black eyes immediately lit up when she did that like a lightbulb being lit in a room. she felt very eager when she gave you a tour of arcadia city. so, it was no surprise that she was eager about showing you the room that you guys were currently inside of. "welcome to the bit rush lounge!" she passionately exclaimed with a cheerful grin on her face. "this is the place where me and the other characters hang out together, especially if it's been a long day. i hope you enjoy yourself here." after she said that, her and caitlyn walked to the middle of the room and sat down on a soft, turquoise couch near two other people that seemed very familiar to you.

you surveyed the room with both of your eyes, realizing how cool and fascinating it looked. two long, turquoise couches sat across from each other in the middle of the room. two individual, turquoise recliners sat across from each other as well, which created a neat circle with the two couches. there were multiple, large televisions that were next to each other on sky blue walls and faced the turquoise couches. many soft, white chairs sat in front of the televisions, beautifully clashing with the sky blue walls. a lot more televisions and comfortable, white chairs were at the front of the room. a turquoise door was on each corner at the front, which led to another room. all of the walls in the room were neatly decorated with various pixel-like stickers from arcadia.

overall, the entire lounge was something that definitely interested you a lot. even though its theme seemed simple from an outside perspective, it was still unique and amazing to you.

your eyes shot back to the middle of the room and they soon landed on a familiar male that you've seen before a ton of times in the real world.

the male had spiky blonde hair that shined with his personality and mischievous blue eyes that were a sign of adventure. a small square and triangle were under both of his eyes as well. he was quite taller than you and had a slightly muscular build. the clothing on his body seemed comfortable to wear, even though some of it looked somewhat thick. he was also in his early twenties. one of his most notable features though was the white gauntlet that he wore. the gauntlet was similar to a shield and had four colored buttons on top of it. it had an opening that was similar to a disk launcher, was connected to a medical kit backpack, and was above a dark blue glove.

you contentedly smiled at the male sitting on the couch and excitedly waved at him. "ezreal!" you called out, the smile staying on your face.

ezreal looked up from his spot and grinned once he saw you. "(y/n)! long time, no see." he said, letting out a small hum afterwards. "come sit next to me!" he then scooted over one spot on the couch, which made room for you between him and someone else.

you happily sat next to your blonde-haired, feeling soft tails brush against your shoulder and neck once you did so. one of your gloves hands went towards the tails, gently stroking them with your fingers. you admired how sparkly the tails were and how they changed color every few seconds. those tails were very beautiful to you. but, the person who had them was even more beautiful as a whole. your fingers continued to delicately stroke the colorful tails, not noticing someone else chuckle in amusement next to you.

"i see you fancy my tails, sweetheart," a flirty feminine voice said with a small laugh. she turned her head towards you, gently putting her fingers under your chin to lift it up. her blue eyes stared right into yours, never leaving your gaze at all. "but, you'll fancy me more if you hang out with me right now." she quietly whispered with a charming smirk written on her face.

your face turned crimson red at the female's words. you had to admit that she was quite charming in both looks and personality. she had short, dark purple hair, beautiful blue eyes, and pale skin. all of that was accompanied with a pair of white headphones that had two green stars on it with multicolored ears, and nine colorful yet vibrant tails. you shook the feeling off though and let out a playful huff at the nine-tailed fox that looked at you for awhile. "stop trying to charm me, ahri. i have a boyfriend, you know."

"don't you trust me?" ahri asked you, pouting a little bit afterwards as she licked her smooth lips.

"i know you well, ahri," you commented, huffing at the female again. "you're quite the charmer."

ahri giggled at your response, gently removing her fingers from your chin. "i was just playing with you. i would never charm you on purpose, especially since you're in a relationship with ezreal. i respect you guys being together." she explained with a grin on her face. she then carefully leaned towards your ear and whispered something inside of it that only you could hear. "but, if ezreal ever dumps you, then you're welcome to be with me."

you nodded at the nine-tailed fox as you saw her move away from your ear turn her body back. you leaned your head on ezreal's shoulder and softly shut both of your eyes.

ezreal felt the new, soft weight on his shoulder and happily smiled when he noticed that it was you who leaned your head against it. so, he rested his right arm on your waist and carefully pulled you closer to his warm body. he knew that you felt tired at the moment since your head rested against his shoulder and you've been looking around arcadia city all day. during serene moments like these, he would hardly speak at all and give you soft signs of affection. it was difficult for him to not talk about his stories sometimes though. at least he knew that you didn't mind him speaking about them at all.

hannah closed her black eyes and opened them after a few seconds. she turned towards ezreal and gave the blonde-haired male a genuine smile. the smile that she gave him could light up an entire room in a few seconds. her eyes seemed to be quite genuine as well, considering the way they shined at the moment. she then playfully winked at him before turning back to her original spot and getting up from the couch. she grabbed her purple staff that sat near the couch as well so she wouldn't forget it there.

"caitlyn, ahri, let's go to the other room right now so we can give (y/n) and ezreal some privacy," hannah explained to them. "i know ezreal wants some alone time with her, especially before we start fighting the battle bosses tomorrow."

ahri nodded at hannah, agreeing with her current statement. "alright, that sounds good, hannah." she happily said, getting up from her spot as well.

caitlyn gave hannah a small nod, agreeing with her statement too before getting up and adjusting the multicolored hat on her head. she then directed her gaze towards ezreal. her gaze was more relaxed this time and didn't have as much stress in it like before. "get some good rest, ezreal. you're going to need it for tomorrow. also, take good care of your girlfriend. she's a keeper for you."

with that being said, the three females went towards one of the turquoise doors and left the current room, leaving (y/n) and ezreal alone in it.

ezreal softly twirled strands of your hair with his fingers, being extra careful not to tangle them. the atmosphere inside of the room felt too quiet for ezreal, so he decided to break the silence for a little bit by talking to you. "(y/n)?" ezreal asked in a soft tone.

"hm?" you replied, opening your eyes when he said something.

"i'm sorry for waking you up right now, but there have been a lot of things on my mind lately, and i just wanted to let my thoughts out," he told you, a soft sigh escaping his lips afterwards.

you curiously blinked both of your eyes, abruptly growing concerned about your boyfriend. "what are you thinking about, ez?"

"well, i don't want anything bad to happen to you here," ezreal admitted, continuing to gently play with your colorful hair. "ever since hannah told me she was going to teleport you here, i was quite hesitant to let her do that. it's not like i didn't want you to be here or anything. it's just that veigar is insanely powerful, more powerful than me and the other heroes. at least the other battle bosses have nothing on me and my speed-running record for hyper crystal dungeon." a small chuckle escaped his lips at the last statement that he said as he tenderly kissed the top of your head.

"now don't get too confident, ez," you quietly told him, yawning a little bit afterwards. "blitzcrank is no joke when he grabs you and deals damage, especially if you're low health. it took me forever to beat him the first time i played arcadia. i can't even count how many times i've died thanks to his long-ranged grabs."

"yeah, i've been there before..."

you laughed at what ezreal said, pretending to wipe a fake tear from your eye like an actress in a movie. "i bet you've died more times than me."

"i have not! well, maybe i did..."

you laughed once again, picking your head up from your boyfriend's shoulder so you could see ezreal's face more easily. both of your hands soon went to his pale cheeks and gently cupped them as if they were fragile. your eyes intently studied his face like a textbook and eventually landed on ezreal's adventurous, blue eyes. you've grown to love those blue eyes more and more each time you stared at them  "ezreal, nothing bad will happen to me, i promise." you softly murmured to him.

"i know nothing bad will happen to you because i'll do my best to protect you when we're fighting the battle bosses together," he murmured back, honestly lacing his voice. "i love you so much, (y/n). you're the best treasure i could ever ask for. i wouldn't trade my best treasure for a million trophies." once he said that, he flashed you a gentle and genuine smile that could make anyone's heart flutter within a few seconds. ezreal definitely meant every word that he told you. you were his greatest treasure of all time, and he didn't know what he would do without it.

you would kiss ezreal on the lips if you could, but your body sadly didn't let you at the moment. your hands dropped from his cheeks and your head immediately went back to his shoulder. soft, quiet snores escaped your lips after your eyes had shut tight.

tomorrow was surely going to be a long day for you, but it was going to be worth it in the long run, especially if the people that you cared about were right beside you.
