Kentrell grabbed a stack of cash from the bed, stuffing it into his duffle bag that contained eight other stacks, almost unable to completely fit inside of it.
"Make sure she eat, and you eat too. You hear me?" Von stood on the side of him, holding a gun out for him to put on his waistband.
"You not my daddy nigga. Get yo' ass on." He chuckled, making sure it was locked on safety before he put it in his front pocket, letting the clip hang out.
"Nah, I'm being deadass 'cause you don't be eating. Eat somethin'." Von grabbed his neck to force him to look at him, and Kentrell's hand went over his wrist.
"I heard you. I will." He leaned his head forward, pecking his lips twice, and he let Dayvon deepen the last one, before he pulled away.
"I love you." Von kissed his forehead next, earning a smile from him. He swore Kentrell was his girlfriend or something.
"I love you too. Call me." Kentrell sat his duffel bag on the counter, pulling the zipper to close it shut.
Dayvon turned around to walk to the bathroom, and opened the door to see Dream swooping the minimum baby hairs that she had on her newly installed lace wig.
"You leaving now?" She asked him, letting him wrap his arms around her waist from behind.
"Yeah. You need somethin'?" He rubbed her stomach, then laughed once she grabbed his hands to stop him.
"I'm not pregnant. Stop wishing that on me Dayvon, I'm serious." She chuckled, turning around to face him so that she could give him a hug.
"Whatever. Trell gon' give you some money when y'all stop at the bank. Let me know if you want some more and I'll bring some home to you. I love you fat ma." He kissed her lips, and she smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"I love you too handsome. Be safe." She kissed him twice more, and Dayvon gave her another hug, before finally leaving out of the room.
He was about to head to a meeting with his best friend and co-founder of the label he owned, Durk, and would be gone for a few hours since the meeting was being held in Miami. His plan was to be back home before nightfall though, and it was currently noon.
Every time either him or Kentrell had to go somewhere, they left the other with instructions to care for Dream as if she was a child. She didn't mind it. She found their overprotection and caring ways to be cute-whatever helped them sleep better at night.
Since Kentrell didn't have any other plans besides stopping at the bank today, he was going to take Dream to go meet some of his friends for a little bit, then take her out to eat, just to get her out the house.
Dream was so much of a homebody that it was nerve-wracking. She never wanted to go out on a date or take a shopping spree at the mall. Sitting at home all day and watching movies was enough to satisfy her. She just enjoyed quality time with two of her favorite people.
"Be still, Kentrell." She mumbled, standing in front of him whilst he remained on the bed, letting her put moisturizer in his hair.
It didn't matter who it was, Kentrell hated people touching his hair. He barely ever got his dreads redone because he literally couldn't fathom someone's hands in his head for so long. Dream didn't want his scalp to dry out though, so she often moisturized it for him to make sure it continued to grow healthily.
"You smell good. Why you ain't wearing a shirt mama?" He had the side of his face resting on her exposed stomach, able to feel her chuckle.
"I am wearing a shirt."
"No you ain't. That's a bra. I can see yo' whole nipple." He stood up when she finished with his hair, his frame standing over hers.
"Stop looking so hard then." She shrugged, and he shook his head at her while watching her gather the hair supplies.
She took everything back to her bathroom, and then came back out, grabbing her phone from off the charger.
"Why you ain't taking a purse?" He asked her, passing her a small Louis Vuitton blanket that smelled just like him. It was her favorite cologne scent, and she kept the blanket with her because she was always cold.
"I don't need anything except my AirPods today." She wrapped her arm around his waist, walking alongside him out of the room.
"You weird. C'mon, take a picture fa' me." He told her, and she laughed at how quickly he changed topics, but stood against the wall nonetheless after making it downstairs.
He fixed her small diamond cuban necklace, and pulled her halter top up some to cover her breasts more. He hated the shirt, but Dream never listened to them about her clothing choices anyways.
After all, they were the entire reason she even wore cropped tops and revealing clothing nowadays. The way they continuously hyped her body had her falling in love with it, so now, she wanted to show it off as much as she could.
"Thank you. You so damn pretty." He wrapped his arms around her, and she laughed again, being picked up from the ground.
"You just tryna butter me up so that I post." She rolled her eyes, and he chuckled since it was true.
"I'll post on yo' page. Ion need you to do it. Say, Midnight, let's go nigga." Kentrell whistled, and she face palmed herself, earning a laugh from him.
Midnight trotted towards them with his leash in his mouth, his harness already around his body since Dayvon had put it on him before he'd left the house.
Kentrell took the leash from him, and let him walk ahead, the three of them leaving out of the house. He locked the door behind them while still carrying Dream, and eventually put her in the passenger side of his Tesla.
He then opened the back door and gestured Midnight inside, shaking his head at the hair that he knew would occupy his backseats in due time. Him and Dayvon had to get their cars detailed at least once a week because Dream literally wouldn't leave Midnight home.
She barely ever drove her own car anymore, or drove at all, for that matter. Her boyfriends were like her personal chauffeurs. They wouldn't let her go anywhere on her own anyway, might as well force them to drive, too.
"You aggy." She chuckled, seeing him now logged into her Instagram account on his phone, scrolling through the comments of the picture he'd posted of her.

It still amazed Dream how much her social media interactions had soared. Before the blogs started posting her, she only had around nine thousand followers-almost all of them from Jayda and Ariana. Now, she had close to half a millions followers on Instagram.
What really sent her page up was when Kentrell and Dayvon went live together from her account a few days ago, and were live for less than five minutes, but quickly garnered almost 300,000 views.
Plenty of their fans and even some highly miserable haters came to her page to watch, and then followed her for future content. Promoters had begun to reach out to her for deals, including big brands like FashionNova and Savage X Fenty.
Though becoming a social media influencer would bring her good money, she didn't think she would do well in that field. She already hated posting as it was, so to have to constantly post content as an ambassador would be strenuous on her.
She was thinking about it though.
"Yes it does. I don't know why rappers think it's cool to call they girl out her name. That's not cute." Dream put a vanilla cupcake flavored goldfish in her mouth, her legs folded into her seat.
"I ain't call you my bitch though. I just typed it. It's literally a difference." He argued back, and she rolled her eyes while looking out of the window once they made it to their destination.
The car came to a stop, and it gained the attention of many people on the street since most of them knew who was in it, but couldn't confirm since the windows were tinted dark.
"You mad? I'm sorry. You ain't no bitch, you know that." He held her face, pressing his lips against her cheek.
"Tell me what you wan'. I said sorry and I changed the caption, Nana." He chuckled, turning her head to look at him.
"I'm not upset."
"I'll eat yo' ass if you stop being mad." He stepped out of the car, and she shook her head at him, following him with her eyes as he walked around to her side of the car.
Dream stepped out with his help, then tied Midnight's leash onto his harness since they were about to be around men neither of them were familiar with. She just knew he would try to act a fool.
"Want yo' ass ate or what?" He stared down at her, and she cracked a smile, making him laugh.
"You get on my last nerve." She chuckled, holding around his waist as he led her towards a large house, almost like a mini mansion.
He kissed the side of her face, then twisted the doorknob, and shook his head after it opened. He'd told them about keeping the door unlocked all day. It's like they were asking to get robbed.
"Mane, KD, ain't nobody touched yo' fucking beans bra. Get out my face wit' dat' shit." A strong southern accent that resembled Kentrell's spoke aloud, and Midnight began to growl.
"Bitch! You know yo' snaggatooth ass girlfriend was eating my shit. Hoe ain't even got no teef' to eat shit else innis' bitch." Another voice spoke, and then a popping sound could be heard, followed by a shriek.
Then, Midnight began loudly barking, standing directly in front of Dream as if he was telling her to stay back. He always had to assess the level of danger to make sure it was safe enough for her.
"Ahhhh! You heard that?! It's a wolf in them fucking walls bra I den' told y'all ass!" The same high pitched voice shrieked again, and Kentrell rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"Quiet, Midnight." Dream whistled, and his barks ceased, turning into low growls with each flare of his sharp teeth.
"KD why the fuck y'all got that door unlocked?" Kentrell made their presence known, rounding the corner to reveal a kitchen and dining area.
"What the fuck?!" KD, Dream assumed, hopped on top of the counter at the sight of Midnight, who's growls got loud again.
"Scary ass nigga, mane." A boy with dark green and black dreads shook his head, the length of his hair stopping near his shoulders.
Midnight barked at him next, which caused him to jump on top of the counter right beside KD, and Kentrell smacked his lips at both of them.
"Say lil guh', get that fuckin' monster out my shit. Top, her ass banned already. Uh-un. No way, Jose." KD put on a fake Spanish accent near the end, and Dream furrowed her eyebrows.
"Shut yo' bitch ass up. Youn pay no bills in this bitch." Kentrell told him, and Dream shook her head at how much all of them cursed. They sounded like southern sailors.
"Say mama, them my brothers Keldrick, and Joseph." He pointed to the two men, a smirk on his face because he found it amusing to say their real names.
"You federal fucker. Hush, puppy!" KD growled back at Midnight, who snatched out of Dream's hold to get to him, making her eyes go wide.
Midnight had a running head start towards the counter they were on, so he was able to jump in the air, and pull his tall and strong body onto that same counter.
"Midnight! Stop," Dream frowned at him after both KD and Joe took off running, KD screaming to the top of his lungs even though Midnight had halted in his tracks.
"Get yo' ass down. You see they scared of yo' ass." Kentrell whistled, laughed as Midnight trotted back towards them, standing in front of Dream again. She leaned down to tighten his leash, shaking her head since he'd snapped one of the hooks.
"Asshole." She muttered, standing back upright just as Kentrell grabbed her hand.
"See, uh-un! That big ass fucking dog gotta get up outta' hea'." KD spoke exhaustively, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath from running away so fast. Joe had ran all the way up to his room.
"Shut up. Where Montana, Three, PY, and Dee at?" Kentrell asked him, leading Dream and Midnight over to a couch. He sat down first, then pulled her down to sit in his lap.
"On the way back from tha' sto'. I told yo' extra dumbass that. Say, tell him I said kumbaya. Don't that mean peace or some shit? Say, I ain't on no dumb shit." He held his hands up in surrender while talking to Dream, referring to Midnight who laid near her feet.
"He's not going to bite you. He was just playing in there." Dream chuckled, putting her hands over Kentrell's just as the front door opened.
Suddenly, a few combined loud voices filled the space, and then, the faces were matched to the voices as they walked in the house with grocery bags in their hands.
"Lil top!" A younger boy approached them, and Kentrell reached his hand out, dapping him up with a smile on his face.
"Wassam. What you on foe'?" He snapped after pulling his fist back, and Dream was caught off guard as the boy gave her a side hug.
"Wassam wit' you girl? I can treat you better than he can." He rubbed his chin, earning a laugh from her once Kentrell lifted his foot to kick him in his shin.
"Ugly bitch," The same boy bucked at Kentrell, and as soon as he pretended to get up, the boy took off towards the kitchen.
"That's PY. His real name Kameron doe'. He just turned sixteen, I think. He from BR." Kentrell told her, deciding not say that Kameron was specifically from Plaquemine, Louisiana, since she probably wouldn't even know where that was.
"Awe. What, that's your cousin or something?" She asked, feeling him leave a kiss on her shoulder.
"Nah. That's Kendell best friend. More like a brother to us." He told her, referring to his younger brother.
Kentrell was about to say something else, but then his gaze adverted, watching as Ben walked in the house, Lakia-his babymama-hot on his trail with their sleeping son in tote.
The air grew awkward, and after looking up, Dream realized why. She knew about Kentrell's past situation-ship with him, and had already decided she didn't like him. Not because he was an ex, but because of the way he did Kentrell.
"Damn. Y'all niggas got shot in y'all ass or somethin'?" Joe rose an eyebrow at them while making his presence known.
Kentrell hadn't seen Ben in almost two months-the whole time he'd been with Dream. It wasn't like he was avoiding him, he just didn't see a reason I'm having his presence anymore. Kentrell felt like he had always been treated like a temporary figure in Ben's life, and he'd grown tired of that.
There was no reason for him and Ben to keep in contact anymore, so, they didn't. Even though, Ben had reached out to him a few times to talk, Kentrell stood his ground, and didn't respond. Now, it was awkward-because to everyone else, they were still best friends.
"Wassam?" Ben locked his gaze on Kentrell, but he didn't say anything back. He did rest his hand on the clip of his gun though, daring Ben to say or do the wrong thing.
"You can't speak?" His eyebrows furrowed, and Joe just looked between his two friends, trying to figure out if they were joking or not.
"Yo' bitch ever seen what color yo' brain is?" Kentrell held his gun up in the air, and Dream frowned at his choice of words.
"Yo' bitch know what you be taking?" Ben retorted, and Kentrell was about to pull his trigger and send a bullet through the wall as a warning, but then glanced over at True-Ben's son-who was asleep in a car seat.
"Perk, Xans, M-," KD butted in the conversation with his hand on his hip, and was cut off once Joe used his elbow to jab his side.
"Be cool 'for I embarrass you." Kentrell chuckled, standing up with Dream in front of him. He was about to leave before one of them said something that both of them regret.
Even though Kentrell had been in the blogs with Von as of lately, the only thing he'd told his brothers was that him and Von were just friends. They still didn't know about what he and Ben previously had going on, and Kentrell wasn't sure if he was ready for them to.
It wasn't like he was embarrassed by his sexuality, he just hated unnecessary judgment and opinions that were formed about him from other people-even his people. So, he kept his business as just that-his business.
Kentrell said nothing else to nobody, instead leading Dream and Midnight out of the house, and back to the car. When they got in, Dream could tell that he was more upset than he was trying to let on, so she didn't know if she should speak up or not.
Intertwining their fingers, she kept her gaze on him while his remained on the road in front of him, his top lip slightly arched up in his signature mug look, but disappeared as soon as she grabbed his hand.
"It's okay pumpkin. You don't have to be mad. I already know what you be taking." She joked, and he cracked a smile, glancing over at her.
"I don't be taking shit. Shut yo' ass up." He chuckled, and she smiled as well, rubbing the back of his hand.
"Whatever. Don't sit over there all mad though. Nothing happened, and you're fine. You don't have anything to be upset about." She told him, letting him rest his hand on her thigh.
"That bitch ass nigga d-,"
"Kentrell, you started with him, technically. You didn't have to say anything about his girlfriend. She wasn't bothering you." She cut him off before he could rant about the situation, and he frowned.
"They know why I said what I said. That hoe set him up just a few months ago. Almost had him, and they son killed." He told her, and her eyebrows rose in surprise.
"Why isn't she in jail?" She frowned, and he looked over at her to see if she was serious, and then chuckled, realizing that she was.
"That's street shit mama. Police don't know shit 'bout that. All they got is some bullets, no finger prints and no camera footage. That's how street shit work."
"Bloody hell. You street people scare me." She shook her head, and he laughed, his mood easing back up. That's why he loved her the way that he did. She just made him happy in general, and he didn't know how she did it just by being herself.
The bedroom was so cold, and just from the temperatures you could tell winter was about to replace this fall season. Atlanta weather was so bipolar, it was actually no telling what was coming next.
Kentrell and Dream lay underneath the thick covers, holding each other as they slept, with Midnight laying on his own blanket at the foot of the bed. Somehow, he made his way in the room with them every night.
The covers briefly lifted up, and Dream's eyes slowly opened, looking up to see a tired Dayvon climbing in the bed with them, fresh out of the shower. She opened her arms for him, and wrapped them around his body once he was snug enough in her embrace.
"How was it?" She mumbled, his face buried into the crook of her neck while Kentrell held her from behind, still asleep.
"Why is you still up crazy girl," His voice rasped, and she chuckled, gently massaging his scalp to put him to sleep. The only reason she'd woken up so easily was because she couldn't fully fall asleep unless she was sure that both him and Kentrell were safe, and in the bed with her.
"I had to make sure you made it home to me." She told him, and he hummed in response, his heavy eyes closing.
"I'm here. Go to bed mama." He kissed her soft skin, and slowly, she did as told, dozing off right along with him.
Lol. I low-key wanna make this book have a bad ending like Grim Reaper. I don't do those enough.
