━━━━━━ Kylie Roberts couldn't be called a quiet girl. She was a free spirit, actually. Like drink until you throw up. Or, sneak out the window at night on the sly and sneak back in the morning without being heard. Insomma, era la tipica figlia trasgressiva che cercava in tutti i modi di deludere i genitori. Despite knowing what she was up against later. She doesn't care about the consequences, her goal was to wrong those two people who had brought her into the world. It was more the mornings where she didn't remember what had happened the night before than the mornings where she remembered what had happened, she spent the summer evenings and days with her friends, and her boyfriend, Rafe Cameron.

However, since school had started again, things had taken a tragic turn. According to a psychology study, people who have experienced trauma in the family caused by parents with abusive relationships are more likely to find a partner with similar traits like the abusive parent, sometimes they are identical, then developing a relationship with the same dynamis. This was exactly what Kylie had done. It all started when her best friend's brother, Sarah Cameron, broke into her sister's room during a girls' night party just to be annoying. While Sarah yelledat her brother, the world around Kylie and Rafe had stopped the moment their gazes met.

━━━━━━ Rafe Cameron couldn't be defined as a good person compared to his girlfriend, she was kind to everyone, while he apparently seemed like a good guy, but if you knew him well, it didn't take long to understand that he was a real asshole. And not just with the Pogues. He was the typical rich and snobbish boy, he was used to never receiving consequences for his actions because he was protected by his high social status.

He had gradually shown who he really was even with Kylie, after their first meeting he had begun to court the young Roberts by sending her letters and occasionally flowers. Initially things went great, after both had declared their love after the various dates, at the eyes of everyone they seemed the perfect couple. But the more time passed by, the more the arguments increased. And gradually their relationship turned abusive. And things got drastically worse when Kylie started hanging out whit Kiara again and met the infamous Pogues. She had never interacted with them, or rather, never in public. She had met a Pouge who worked at one of her mother's hotels a couple of years earlier. Before that she had always heard bad things about them, but after meeting him the only thing she could think of the Pouges was that they were clearly better than the Kooks.

When Kiara first took Kylie to John Booker Routledge's Chalet, better known as John B, she couldn't help the astonished expression that appeared on her face at the sight of who was sitting on the patio. There seated in a wicker armchair was the blond boy with whom she had long chats in a dark room of a hotel. Kylie knew JJ had a group of friends, he talked about them very often but never mentioned names. From that day Kylie became more and more friends with the Pouges at the point that she stayed to sleep at the Chalet sometimes, using the excuse 'I stay to sleep at Kiara' she had also drastically decreased the alcohol content that she ingested at intervals of time almost every evening, starting again slowly plan to have a clear mind every morning.

Things between Rafe and Kylie gradually got worse and worse in the long run. The more he drank the more he showed a side Kylie had never seen. And she always had to return home where she faced worse things; Regina and Vincent Roberts used to fight continuously over useless things, the man found every good excuse to get his hands on his wife, who could not help but cash in and dry her tears. And inevitably he also reached Kylie. Every day a new bruise appeared on her body which she covered with foundation and a fake smile. And she had to carry on the fake face of the perfect family.

The only place that had become safe for Kylie was John B's Chateau, but it hid secrets that aren't safe at all and the Pogues would soon find out the hard way.
