𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢

"I want to go to go out later baby..." I said lowly as I watched Colton workout while gently biting my lip for a swift second

I had been watching him work out for the past two hours while lying on a pool chair in my parent's backyard.

Colton always loved to work out -he always mentioned it was a form of meditation for him as well- and when he did it was always a nice sight. I mean, what woman wouldn't see it as such?

"Then I'll take you out." He grunted lowly before finishing his last push-up and standing up

Slightly tilting my sunglasses down as he walked over I couldn't help but smirk before rolling my eyes at his everything.

I couldn't help but begin to stare at his painted arms and chest as he caught his breath before letting my eyes travel down to his sweaty abdomen.

"Oh, somebody wants to eat me." My husband teased causing me to pull my sunglasses back up and turn my head to the side while closing my eyes trying not to laugh or smile

Colton then took a sip of my water before placing it on the nearby table and placing his hands on the armrests of the pool chair I sat on, leaning forward with a smile before saying lowly, "I know you wanna kiss me."

"Nope," I replied with a playful sigh as I turned to face him

"That's a damn shame." He then said while removing my sunglasses and sitting them on the nearby table

"I want to kiss you." My husband said as he began playing with the strings on the side of my tied bikini bottoms

"I want to go swimming." I rebutted before placing my hand on his chest

I loved playing hard to get. The little nothings he'd whisper when I would is probably why we have twins on the way now.

"Then let's go." He said while moving from in front of me to step to the side and help me up from the low chair

"I cannot wait for you to start waddling." Colton then said most likely thinking about it as he smiled like a small child

"So, you want me to look like a baby cow?" I asked causing him to slap my thigh as I laughed lowly at his antics

"Don't say that." He then said replacing his hands on my waist as he walked me into the cool water leaving me smiling at his caring act

I then tried wrapping my legs around Colton's waist failing multiple times causing us to laugh before I groaned lowly.

"God, I'm huge," I mumbled as he placed his hands on my bottom

"I think you're beautiful and perfect." He said with a smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck

"You sweet-talking me?" I asked while smirking

"Absolutely." My husband rebutted as he slowly moved my legs around his waist despite my stomach being in the way

"So, how are we going to fix these rooms for aliens one and two?" I then asked as he began walking us around the pool

"Well, I'm going to paint the rooms first and then move their furniture in. Pretty simple stuff, baby." He shrugged

Smiling, I slowly leaned in pressing my lips against my husband's giving him the kiss he wanted so earlier.

"You know I'm pissed with you, right?" I asked after slowly pulling from our kiss and gazing into his eyes

"Why is that?" Colton rebutted with that stupid cute little smile

"Because I have gained twenty pounds, my calfs throb daily, and my feet swell on and off all day but you still have this sexy body that you seem to be throwing up in my face all the time!" I ranted while rolling my eyes

"Dinah, I didn't wear a shirt around you even when we weren't together. No one is trying to throw up their physique in your face." He replied while laughing lowly and spinning us slowly in the pool

"Mmhm. That was one of the steps in your plan to trap me." I mumbled resulting in him smiling and kissing me

"I wasn't trying to trap you...I was just trying to marry the woman who had taken over my home after only a year of being there with me." He explained

"Yeah, right, you started sleeping in bed with me and cuddling with me on top of all of the slick flirting you used to do." I retorted swiftly while laughing

"I was falling in love with you; what do you want me to say?!" He then said with a groan as he looked toward the blue sky

"Where is he?!" I heard Theo yell causing me and Colton to groan

"Theo, No!" I then heard Evie call after him before Theo quickly slid the door open running out toward us with Evie running after him

"Colton, we need to talk!" Theo then hummed while tapping his foot

"About?" Colton replied causing me to chuckle lowly

"Dammit, Theo! You know Momma told us to give them words of encouragement not fight this time!" Evie coughed out of breath

"I'm not gon' do nothing. But, just know God saved your damn life because if I hadn't gotten baptized again I would've told you to get your ass out of that pool so I could light that ass like a Christmas tree in the name of Jesus!" Theo said causing Colton to laugh

"Theo!" Evie sneered causing him to throw his hands up in surrender

"Okay, okay! H-how are you guys doing?" Theo asked as if it hurt him to say the words

"We are doing good, crazy." I finally spoke

"You sure, Dinah, because he's my favorite brother-in-law and all but I'll cut him!" Theo said mouthing the last part causing me to shake my head

"I'm your only brother-in-law," Colton added causing him to send him a glare

"Yes, Theo, leave my baby alone." I then said causing him to sigh

"Alright, it just bothered me because we like you Colton, but damn we expect the people Nalen date to fuck up not you! Because, Lord knows I don't like that Angela chick." Theo then said

"Theo, you do know getting baptized means you are supposed to change right?" I asked causing him to wave his hand at me flamboyantly shewing my comment off

"Now, that, that's out the way! Aww, you guys look so cute!" Theo then pouted before smiling

"Oh, yeah, and Momma is finished cooking!" Evie added causing me to squeal in happiness as I shook in my husband's arms before exclaiming in even higher spirits, "To the kitchen!"

Colton just smiled at my comment as he began walking us over to the steps of the pool.

And, to my surprise, Theo just smiled with Evie rather than calling me a name which was pretty unusual.

But, I'll take it.

It's funny how these last three days with my family really helped save my marriage when I really came here to take a break from it.

Ironic.
