𝙁𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃𝙎 𝘼𝙂𝙊

𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢

𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙍𝙏𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘼𝙂𝙊

"My babies!" Mom called as she ran toward me and Chase causing us to smile

We hadn't seen Mom in almost six months due to our B.U.G.S. training and now that hell week was over we finally got a month off to be home.

Thankfully, the hardest part was done and all we had left was SQT, jump school, and special warfare training which all together would be about eighteen more months before we would be placed on a team.

"Hey, Ma!" Chase said with the biggest and dumbest smile he could conjure which left my Mom laughing of course as she pinched his cheeks

"Hey, Mom," I said as I slightly rolled my eyes

"Colton, you're too old to still catch attitudes about having to share my attention." Mom then said as she hugged us both equally as tight with a love that made us feel more than enough all over again

Mom always gave the best hugs. She was always so warm and carried this faint vanilla scent with her.

"You guys are huge now!" She then exclaimed with wide eyes as she finally noticed our builds

"Oh, well, thank you girl. You know how that be! You wanna touch the bicep?" Chase replied very animatedly per usual

"I wonder about you, Chase. I really do." Mom then said as she pat his shoulder causing me to break out in boisterous laughter

"What the hell are you laughing at Pinky?!" Chase then said making sure to turn to me with a raised eyebrow

"Your goofy ass." I rebutted with an eye roll

Chase then grabbed me around the neck carefully pulling me down to the floor while laughing causing me to turn away from my Mom -so I wouldn't accidentally hit her- as I slammed Chase to the ground in a controlled fashion so I wouldn't hurt him.

"Colton, get off of your brother!" Mom urged as I pinned my knee against Chase's neck

He's 6'3 and still can't beat me in a fight.

"He started it!" I rebutted as my brother continued to try and hit me

"I'm gonna hit you both in a minute! Please act how I raised you two, to be in public." Mom snapped causing me to huff and get off of him before helping him up

"Thank you, Ma," Chase said causing our Mom to send him the look

I then snickered lowly before she began to cry.

"I missed you two so much!" She expressed as we hugged her tightly

Damn, I'm going to miss her when we go back to finish training for those 18 months; But, I know she'll be there for us 'till the end as she always promised.

"And, she'd never hug us unless it was a group hug," I said as I kissed Dinah's head

She was lying between my legs listening to me talk about my Mom and Chase.

"Do you have pictures of you, your Mom, and Chase?" She asked as she traced my arm tattoos

Unlocking my phone I quickly found the pictures I had redownloaded for her; knowing my wife was going to ask at some point.

Handing her my phone she gasped lowly as she turned in my lap to face me with her mouth agape.

"You and Chase look just like your Mom just with slight differences!" She beamed with the biggest smile as she hit my shoulder causing me to chuckle lowly at her reaction

I then gently grazed my thumb over her cheek while smiling and said, "She would have loved you so much. Chase too."

Dinah smiled in return before sliding over to another photo of me and Chase in our dress blues after our last graduation.

"You and Chase are so cute. How old were you two?" Dinah then asked

"I was 21 and Chase was 18," I answered

"You guys look so young and happy." My wife said while smiling at the picture

"I remember when Mom first found out we were going to be seals. She lost her shit." I then said

Dinah just laughed before shaking her head and wrapping her arms around my neck trying and failing to get
closer due to the baby bump.

Me and her then chuckled before I leaned over kissing her lips passionately while placing my hands on the side of her stomach.

"All that talk about only wanting one for now ended in us having twins," I said while leaning my forehead against hers

"Ugh! Don't remind me!" She groaned causing me to laugh

"Chase's crazy ass would have driven you crazy and asking for the baby to be named after him" I then added causing her to smile before kissing my nose and softly tugging the hair at the nape of my neck

"Remember when we were lying on the asphalt in that park in Dallas after we got engaged and we were wondering how the hell we were going to hide our marriage for the next year and a half until my contract was up?" Dinah asked leaving me to smile foolishly as I recalled the memory

"Yeah, and you were freaking out because you didn't know how much longer we were going to be able to keep the secret since you finally had my last name," I replied as she shook her head

"I was so scared...because I had been in love with you so long I wouldn't have known how the hell to deal without you." Dinah sighed

"Those were some of the happiest days of my life," I said as Dinah placed her small palm into mine with a smile before pressing her lips against mine while once again pressing her baby bump against my abdomen leaving my heart swelling in happiness and my stomach pivoted due to the swarm of butterflies caused by my wife and our soon to be newborns.

We are so close to becoming a fuller family and the thought itself brought me to a crazy high that if I could help it I'd never leave.
