𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗚𝗢, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗔

"I don't know what to do guys...I mean last night I was trying to talk to him about seeing a therapist and he borderline went ballistic on me and it honestly hurt my feelings the way he talked to me" I explained to the guys as we sat at this diner

"What did he say?" Houston then asked

"He was basically talking to me as if I was inadequate and cursed at me for the first time ever. I know it sounds shallow and I probably shouldn't feel this way but we have had our disagreements and bit of arguments but it's like now-" I began to rant as my tears seemed to choke me up

"No, no, Dinah, we understand" Banks replied hugging me as I cried

"I just want him to be alright." I wept as they all looked at me with sad expressions

"But does he want to be alright? I know and understand it's natural for you to worry about him but you're going to have to temporarily erase him from the picture if he's going to put you through all and more that you don't need now that you're expecting" Franks then said

"That's going to hurt him too much and after everything that's the last thing I want him to do, I just want him to get some help and he doesn't seem to want that...that's what I'm trying to understand why he doesn't. I just need you guys to tell me more please" I said as I wiped my eyes

"We all met Colton and Chase when they were just kid's and we knew they had problems but they never spoke up about any of it until their Mom started to get sick and even then, Chase was the one that initiated that conversation and Colton just added on about it. Hell, for a few months, we didn't even know they were brothers and that was only until Chase got into it with some guy about Colton, and the older brother or cousin got involved and he came in like a bat out of hell." Boone explained causing me to softly chuckle knowing how crazy my husband can get

"Girl, you're laughing but imagine two pissed off Colton's fighting do you understand how hard it was to break that up?" Ross joked causing me to nod and laugh

"But really though we thought they were just close friends that joined together because they would always be laughing and talking shit to each other 24/7 but never with anyone else and believe it or not your husband was a little introvert." Banks said causing me to laugh lowly

"Shit, and Chase would've been picking on his ass day and night about how he was with you at first and now," Houston said

"I can hear him now: 'Leave her alone Slim Shady' or 'Just kiss her already Superman' or, or, or 'Look at my brother so whipped he's creaming'" Ross said causing me to laugh harder

"Him coming for his whiteness is hilarious, I'm so sorry," I said through my giggles

"No, that's not even the worst because when they'd get in their few arguments Chase would be like 'If you don't shut your white ass up, I'm going to kick you in it' and they'd just be bickering until they started fighting and then would just hug each other and say they loved each other after," Boone said as I smiled

"Did you guys ever meet their Mom?" I asked as I began fidgeting with my wedding ring

"Oh yes, we met her a few times and she even cooked and baked us food. Even went to my family reunions." Banks replied

"And respectfully, Ms. Andrews was gorgeous! She was a literal mixture of Sharon Stone and Angelina Jolie." Ross then said

"Hopefully, one day he'll show me. The only reason I know what Chase looks like is because I saw a picture when I first moved in with Colton and he had one with his awards." I said as I sighed

"Do you mind me asking were you all there?" I asked as I finally stopped fidgeting with my ring

"When Chase was killed?" Houston asked

I then nodded causing them all to murmur lowly, "Yes"

"How did he pass?" I then asked

"The bullet broke a rib and penetrated his heart," Boone answered

"Where was Colton?" I then asked

"He was holding him in his arms as he bled out" Franks replied

"And this is why...this is why I need him to get some help. For him, for me, for our babies, and the future." I croaked lowly

"Dinah, I'm just going to tell you the truth here because you can't stress about him this way now with you carrying two kids. I know it may hurt but if he doesn't want to get some help now that you're pregnant you may have to leave him at least for a little bit for the sake of them and you or all three of you could be at risk." Boone said

"Yeah, my wife had it bad with delivering our second child because she was so stressed and worried about me while I was on deployment," Houston said causing me to nod

"That's what I'm worried about," I said before sighing

"Well you know we have your back and anything you need we will and can help you," Franks said as they all nodded in agreement

"Thank you" I then said as they smiled

"Dinah! Baby!" Colton called as I sorted our clothes getting them ready for washing

"I'm in the laundry room" I called back feeling short of breath from all the movement

A few seconds later, he walked through into the room and leaned down grabbing the clothes, and set them in the washing machine, "You shouldn't be doing this alone" He advised

"Well, you decided you were going back to work full time and I shouldn't but I have things to do and unfortunately I am alone." I rebutted causing him to stay silent

"About last night, I just want to say-" He began to stare before I cut him off saying, "It's fine...I got the flowers and your written apology this morning. But, let me tell you this and tell it clearly, don't you ever talk to me the way you did last night. I may not be feeling well all the time and may be very emotional at times but you remember how nasty I can be when pushed. I'm your wife, not your doormat."

"I'll look into some help...I felt so bad after last night that I couldn't even think" He then said after a long pause as I started the washing machine and turned to face him

I then placed my hand on his chest and said, "Show me" as I walked out
