𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗚𝗢, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗔

"Stop!" I squealed in laughter as my husband kissed my neck as I looked through our bill folder making sure everything was good as far as our accounts and the new trust funds he had set up for our kids.

"Why? You look so sexy doing your wife thing." He replied causing me to push him away as I looked at our incomes and outcomes from this month

"Don't ignore me, woman." He then said beginning to pout just as my tummy started to talk

"Ooouuu! Something for you to do other than bother me! Please, go get me In N Out." I said beginning to smile thinking about it

"But you're cooking?" He rebutted referring to the lemon-encrusted salmon I had prepped for dinner

"And our babies want burgers," I replied with a smile as I sat the papers down and crawled over into his lap

"It's lunchtime. I am cooking dinner, baby." I said before kissing him

"So, now you're going to give me your attention because you want me to get you food?" He asked causing me to roll my eyes

"Maybe, but don't act like you don't always get my attention, love, and more," I replied as his arms made their way around my waist

"Okay, mamas, so we'll go get you food after you fill me in on the paperwork," Colton said pressing a kiss against my lips before looking me in the eyes

"So, together we brought in a little over 43,500$ which is the new monthly norm due to your recent rank up compared to the past months' incomes which was about 33,374$. Everything big is paid off. Utilities and groceries are the only thing coming out of our bank account and trips to Saks are the only thing coming out of yours." I explained as I kissed my husband's forehead

"Okay, sounds good. I was thinking we may need a more kid-friendly car though" He then said causing my eyebrow to raise

"What's wrong with my Mercedes?" I asked with a pout as he began moving my hair back to kiss me before saying, "Nothing, I just think now is the time to buy a family car. But, we'll worry about that later; let's go get you what you want."

"Yayyy!" I squealed happily as he stood up, keeping ahold of me as he smiled

"You're so beautiful." He then said as he gently sat me down and went to get shoes

"I know!" I replied with a laugh as he shook his head going upstairs leaving me to bask in Max and Sky's love

𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝘼 𝙃𝘼𝙇𝙁 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘼𝙂𝙊

Softly, I began to blink my eyes until they set accordingly to the surrounding light seeing Colton wasn't in bed next to me as he usually is when I take my naps.

I then reached over for my phone and looked at the time that read, "7:35 pm" before I yawned rolling back onto my back.

I then slightly scrunched my nose smelling a familiar smell but it couldn't be what I thought it was since there was no one around who smokes.

At least I think.

I then made my way through the loft onto the porch seeing it was, in fact, my husband and he was definitely smoking.

He then unhurriedly put it out once he noticed me and said, "Hey"

"Hey to you too, baby," I said with my arms crossed and a little smirk

"What do you think you're doing?" I asked while lowly laughing as I slipped onto his lap

"Keeping up with my bad-boy reputation as you like to say." He replied

"Okay, well, what made you want to smoke weed?" I asked while smiling

"Well, once, every year on my Mom's death anniversary me and...an old friend used to smoke to sorta ease the pain of the situation since I apparently don't know how to handle situations I have no control over as he used to say." Colton said causing me to rebut, "I'd really like to meet this old friend, he seems to be on the same accord as me."

"Yeah, he would've loved you. But, unfortunately, he's no longer here either." He replied with a sigh as I gently rubbed my thumb over his ear

"You might want to get away from me for a little or you're gonna smell like it." He replied causing me to shake my head 'no' before kissing him

I then picked up the blunt wrapped tightly in a red material causing my eyebrow to raise as I asked, "What did you wrap this with?!"

"Rose petals. They are better for your body and increase your mood compared to papers. Plus, there's no tobacco or nicotine." He answered causing me to nod

I then picked up the lighter and lit it before taking a long pull as Colton said, "Please, don't kill yourself."

Tuning into my high school self I then did a swift and clean ghost causing my fiancé to say, "Well, excuse me."

I then laughed as I turned to the side blowing the smoke out as his hands found their way beneath the shirt of his I wore to grip my bottom gently.

"My Mom had cancer when I was a junior in high school and when she was in pain, I would roll and smoke with her. But, luckily, the cancer was ridded. And, when I went to college I smoked due to the stress of 3,000 essays a week." I explained

"Oh, they're things I don't know about my wife?!" Colton joked causing me to laugh

"Gotta keep things interesting right?" I rebutted with a smile as I watched him slowly inhale and exhale

"Why didn't you tell me?" I then asked

"I don't know...I guess I thought you'd judge it slightly because you always tell me I can't numb my pain." He answered

"That is true, but this is pretty cool." I retorted kissing him again

Me and Colton laid on the plush rug on the living room floor sitting and talking about everything. We had taken and shower and eaten possibly everything in sight but we were still high out of our minds.

And it was more than entertaining.

"We should do this more often," I said with a laugh as I rubbed Max's head after he had laid on my stomach

"We are going to be one of those old couples with a daily smoke routine." He replied while laughing

"I wish I could've met you in high school..." I then said causing him to laugh harder as he said, "I don't, because your beautiful ass would've had me in jail."

"If you don't shut the hell up because you know damn well I wouldn't have." I rebutted while laughing

"Hell no, think about it like this when you were a freshman and 14 in high school I was a freshman in college going on 20." He retorted causing me to laugh

"We could've snuck around..." I purposed with a sneaky like smile

"Dinah, you were jailbait. Is 14 and 19 not registering?!" He asked jokingly

"No, because if it were up to me it would've been 13 and 18," I replied laughing at myself uncontrollably causing Max to rise from my belly and begin to lick my face

"I think I'm fine with not being in jail as well as 24 and 29." He said while laughing

"Plus, I was unhappily married when you were in high school." He then said

I then crawled gently on top of him causing his hands to immediately attach themselves to my waist and me to press a messy kiss against his lips before saying, "I could've made you so happy married or not...and beat her ungrateful ass."

"Lord, the Devil is currently leading this woman and she is making me want to drown between her thighs. Please help." He replied causing me to shake my head in laughter

"Oh shut up! I'm just playing, I'm not a home wrecker and you're not a cheater." I said

"I know. You're just my innocent little temptation." He said

"Plus, you would've had a problem with me being 14." I joked causing him to laugh again

"Dinah, if you don't stop." He said as he laughed

"What?! I bet you're happily married now." I whispered as I before beginning to make out with my husband as he moaned, "Mmhm."

I smiled as I leaned over looking at my husband as I ate while we watched Shrek the Third. He then looked over at me immediately beginning to smile in return before saying, "You thinking about sex again or just want loving?"

"No!" I said while rolling my eyes

"The pregnancy attitude is hilarious." He then said causing me to say, "I will hit you."

"Oh, come here, mama. You know all you want is for someone to rub your belly or shoulders while you eat." My husband then said causing me to happily make my way over to him, sitting between his legs

"I love you." I then said with a smile as he began rubbing my shoulders while I ate

"I love you too, baby." He replied kissing my cheek as he continued
