𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗚𝗢, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗔

"I have a surprise for you," Colton said causing me to smile as I laid on his shoulder while running my fingertips over his chest as our sheets draped over our bare bodies

"Oh really?" I asked as I began smiling

"I missed that." He replied ignoring my statement and instead referring to my smile as he faintly caressed his finger against my chin

He then placed his arm beside me to hold himself up as he hovered over me while looking me in the eyes for a minute -as his fingertips danced slowly against the side of my torso- just before he pressed his lips against mine leaving me to gently place my hand against his cheek.

"Is my surprise more of you?" I asked while biting my lip

"Isn't that why you're pregnant with twins now?" He rebutted causing us both to laugh lowly

"No, no, you reeled me in with all the 'please, just one's and the 'oh, you'd be such a sexy mom!'s. Take some responsibility, Mushy." I replied causing Colton to laugh as he got off of me, shaking his head while he slipped on his briefs going to his seabag that lay on the loveseat in the corner of our room

"Is it baby stuff?!" I asked excitedly as I turned my body to face him as he dug through the bag and I reached down to the floor grabbing his shirt slipping it over my naked body along with the thong that laid at the bottom of our bed

"Excited, aren't we?" He replied as he grabbed some papers from the bag and walked back over to my side of the bed, sitting on it before handing me the papers

"I'm home, forever, for you and them," My husband said as I began reading the papers that contained his official reassignment from the field to reserve

I then began to smile foolishly as I set them down, practically jumping into his arms, beginning to kiss all over his face as he smiled resting his hands on my waist.

"So, you're Rear Admiral Andrews now?" I asked proudly as I leaned up, looking him in the eyes

"Yeah." He replied as he kissed my forehead

"All of this work...all the pain, the strain I put on our marriage, and everything I put you and our babies through just to reach here. Solidification. For the life, we have created so our kids can be fine and hopefully never see and do the shit we've done. I just put a hundred thousand into each of our kids' trust funds, I put 50 grand in your account not because you need it, but because I love you...and all of this financial freedom for what? A fucking 'Thank you Andrews', a raise in my pay and rank, and a fucking medal of valor." He ranted as his eyes watered

"Hey, hey, baby." I began to contest as I placed my hand on his cheek in hopes it'd calm him down

"No, D, what am I gonna tell them? I have killed so many people that the soldiers over there call me The Grim reaper...I have 19-year-old recruits asking and praising me for a kill-confirmed count I never wished to have. Wishing to be like me when I don't even want my own kids to be like me." He replied as tears fell from his eyes

"You're going to tell our kids you killed terrorists that threatened and harmed innocent people here and over there...I can guarantee you saved more lives than you took. You are a man that gave peace to people who don't even know your first name." I rebutted as I wiped his eyes and kissed each side of his cheeks

"You are also gonna tell them you're the man who swept their Mom off her feet and begged for them to be here." I then said causing him to smile

"You begged too when I did that one thing while your hands were tied behind you. Remember, it had you seeing stars and screaming into the pillows" He replied jokingly as he picked me up and laid me back against the bed

"Shut up! I'm trying to talk to you about the important stuff and you're playing!" I said as I laughed pushing him off of me, standing up, resulting in him gently grabbing my hand and pulling me back so I stood between his legs

"What?! That is important because you make me so fucking happy. And don't act like you don't want more of that...because you loved every minute of it" He huskily stated while biting his lip and roaming his hands around my bottom causing my heart to flutter

"I just wanted to rant to you for a minute, I'm fine; I promise, so now I want to make sure you're fine." He said as he smirked and pulled me back into his arms

"I have to clean the house!" I moaned as he attached his lips to my neck, moving to my collarbones as he began to pull at the hem shirt of his I wore

"No, you're not cleaning anything. You are gonna stay in bed with me and I'm gonna continue to kiss all over you...And we are going to try to forget all of the negative shit the past two months have thrown at us. Then, tomorrow we will clean the house." Colton rebutted as he pulled his shirt back off of me

"That'll make you feel better, huh?" I asked with a smile as he began tugging at my thong

"It's making me feel better than I've felt in a long time." He replied with soft eyes causing me to kiss his forehead

"You know, that's why I'm a soon-to-be baby Momma," I said with a playful huff causing him to chuckle lowly as he carefully rolled over on top of me

"You're not a baby Momma. You and I are married, you are the Mother of my children, woman." He said as he began kissing my stomach while pulling my thong back off

And he wins...again.
