𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗚𝗢, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗔

"I asked you what?!" Colton yelped as we ate breakfast

"You asked me to call you Daddy," I said while laughing at his surprised facial expression

"I mean...did you?" He then asked causing me to laugh as I said, "Well, when you had me gripping the couch cushions and shaking it may have slipped."

"Dammit! I can't remember." He moaned causing me to laugh harder as I pinched his cheek

"Only you would throw a fit because you can't remember me calling you Daddy," I said before taking our plates and putting them in the sink beginning to wash them watching my husband make his way into the kitchen with a little smirk on my face

Colton then slipped his arms around my waist holding me from behind while resting his chin in the crook of my neck.

"I'm glad you don't have a hangover so we can actually go do something fun before you go back to work again" I said causing him to laugh as he said, "Who said I didn't, I'm just trying to hold it together because I know you want to go to see this movie and then to the carnival."

I then sat the now clean plates and silverware into the dishwasher causing Colton to let go for a mere second before wrapping his arms around me once again after I closed the dishwasher.

"You want all of my loving this morning, huh?" I asked before he nodded and pressed his lips against mine momentarily as he sat me on the kitchen counter

"You're going to be such a gorgeous Mom." He then said as he touched my stomach

"Slow your roll no baby is in there just yet." I replied causing him to roll his eyes as he said, "I'm talking about when he gets in there."

"Yeah, you mean, she, right?" I rebutted

"Nope!" He replied as my eyebrow rose in response

"Boy, come on before I get Sky to bite you" I then said causing him to look over seeing Sky had made her way into the kitchen once she heard her name being called

"See I'm sick of her! She's so defensive of you like she's your husband and I'm living rent-free! Wait till she finds out who's buying her that fresh dog food every month" He nagged causing me to laugh

"Sky show your Dad how much you love him so I don't have to hurt him," I said causing her to run over and began howling at him

"Yeah, yeah. Back to you!" He said rolling his eyes causing me to laugh

"You slept the entire movie!" I said while laughing as me and Colton walked into the carnival

"I did not!" He replied as he smiled

"So who was the killer?" I then asked with a raised eyebrow

"You know those funnel cakes smell amazing, baby." He replied causing me to laugh and push his shoulder gently as I said, "Exactly!"

"That is really cute!" I then said looking at this big giraffe that hung from one of the game tents

"Yeah, cute for a baby..." Colton then said with a little smile

"Then maybe we can win some prizes for a baby," I replied as we began walking over to the game which was luckily for us was shooting themed

"Hey, beautiful and friend! How are you two?" The man then said to me causing me to laugh as I immediately looked over at Colton's facial expression

"Hi, me and the hubby are doing great, how about you?" I replied with a smile

"Great! Sorry about that man." He then said turning to acknowledge my husband

"You know what I can appreciate your apology," Colton replied handing him the tickets for both of us to play

"It's no problem man, and ma'am my apologies to you too." He then said to me causing me to nod as I said, "It's fine. At least you were kind enough to apologize."

The man then smiled as we picked up the guns, "Alright, there are 20 targets up! Hit 15 of those 20 to get the opportunity to pick whatever you want from the prizes, hit anything less than 10 you still have the opportunity to win a prize just a smaller one."

"Got it!" I replied as he started the game

"I'll get the right side you get the left, baby," Colton said causing me to nod as I steadied the fake gun which was made in the form of a rifle

Me and Colton then began shooting each of the targets down one by one until there were no more left causing me to excitedly cheer.

"We won!" I said sillily as I hugged Colton who was definitely laughing at me

"Whew! I've seen a lot of couples do this, but you two are the first to clear all the targets! I'm not supposed to do this buut pick two prizes whatever you two want!" The man said

"Thank you!" I then said happily

"Okay, I want the giraffe which one do you think would look nice in a baby room?" I asked with a big smile causing my husband to kiss my nose as he said, "You."

"Be foreal!" I then said as he laughed and kissed my forehead

"I was being foreal, but I like the Koala." He replied causing the man to hand him the prizes

"Also, how'd you two learn to shoot like that?!" The man then asked

"Military," Colton answered simply

"Oh, that's so cool! What branch?!" He then asked

"Navy," I answered

"So were you like a nurse?" He then asked me causing Colton to laugh at the fact he immediately went to nurse

"I was a medic then became a Seal," I replied causing his mouth to drop

"Wait, that's so cool! Is that how you two met?!" He then asked

"Yes," Colton replied

"May I ask what ranks you two are?" He asked with a smile

"She was a Lieutenant Commander before she left to be a stay-at-home wife and I'm a Captain. Any more questions?" Colton said

"Nope! You two have a great one!" The man then said as nodded and wished him the same before making our way to my car to put the stuffed animals up

"Do you want to go to dinner after this?" Colton asked as he put the giraffe and koala in the backseat

"I think I'd like that," I replied locking the car after he closed the door

"Well, I think I can make that happen." He said gently smacking my bottom after

"I can't believe I let you talk me into this!" Colton said as we held on to the ladder steps that rested flat horizontally above a soft cushion

The ladder slightly went up to a bell which we'd have to ring to win and I wasn't focused on winning, unlike Colton I just wanted to push him off and laugh about it the rest of the day.

But he was so focused on winning because I told him some things I'd do if he won just to tease him but he took it and ran with it.

I then reached over and tried pushing him resulting in him saying, "Dinah!" as the ladder shook causing me to laugh as I held onto the ladder tightly

He then began climbing slowly up the ladder again causing me to follow after him on mine that was right beside his.

"As little as you are this should be easy for you!" Colton teased

"It will be when I knock you off!" I replied trying to push him again before he rung the bell and won the game causing me to pout

"Ha! I won!" He cheered before I pushed him off while he tried to rub his win in my face

I then began laughing until my stomach hurt and I could barely hold myself up.

"Oh, that's funny?!" Colton then asked as I nodded and continued to laugh while pointing at him unable to make out any words that made sense

He then grabbed my arm and pulled me off of the ladder and on top of him leave me laughing harder as I just laid on his chest in tears.

"Man, I love you." He then said causing me to nod trying to say it back but failing due to the fact I was laughing so hard

A/N: Another filler! I tried to make it good please don't kill me I know it's not all that🥹 How'd you guys like it though? And Colton and Dinah's date?
