I quietly made my way through the front door with flowers and some more of Dinah's favorite things including a whole red-velvet cake and take-out for us both.

Stepping into the kitchen I then sat down all the food and walked back to the door, slipping off my boots and putting them by the door so she didn't kill me.

I then carefully headed upstairs with the flowers in hand as I walked through our bedroom door seeing Dinah sleeping on my side of the bed with Max and Sky at the bottom causing me to smile.

Max and Sky almost immediately turned to me with their tails shaking vigorously as they made their way to me causing me to motion for them to calm down for a slight second before I rubbed their heads.

"Hey, sleepy head," I said as I sat next to Dinah and began moving her thick curls from her eyes as she began to open them slowly

"Colton?!" She said excitedly as she jumped into my arms causing me to smile while she hugged me tightly and Max and Sky to lick my cheek

"Hey, beautiful," I said as she pulled away slightly to face me, still smiling as I gripped her bottom softly all while gazing at her through my eyelashes and biting my lip

"I missed you so much!" She said as she placed her hands on my cheeks and kissed me deeply

"Damn, baby." I moaned as she pushed me against the mattress softly causing me to stay put and stare at her sexy nature

"These for me?" She asked with a smile referring to the sunflowers that were now laying on the nightstand

I walked out of the bathroom hoping and praying that Dinah would be completely naked in nothing but a smile which wasn't the case since she wasn't even in our bedroom.

"Dinah!" I called lowly as I headed downstairs knowing she wasn't in any of the guest rooms upstairs

"I'm in the kitchen" She replied causing me to walk into the kitchen seeing she was stuffing her face full of red-velvet cake in a sheer lacy brown lingerie set

I then quickly turned the lights off and followed after her as she walked up the stairs slowly causing me to carefully swoop her off her feet as she laughed and walk us through our bedroom before sitting her down and closing the door behind us.

Dinah then pushed me onto the bed and crawled on top of me beginning to make out with me as my hand found its way to her waist and the other around her back to unclasp her bra.

"Colton, please, I need you to promise me one thing fully." She said causing me to nod as I asked, "What is it?"

"Promise you will go reserve indefinitely. I couldn't even think straight when you were gone. I was in constant fear that when I picked up the phone or answered the door it was going to be someone telling me you died in the line of service...if you want kids and love me I need you to please do that for both of our sanities" She said while holding my hand with hopeful eyes

"I promise," I replied hugging her and rubbing her back to soothe her nerves
