𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗜, 𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗤

Me and the guys carefully watched as one of the Marines that were with us, Ramirez, checked for tripwires and explosives that could possibly be wired around the door before we made our way into this hideout.

This is where Akhil Keram was located and this is where the job will be finished after a month of prep.

Quickly, Boone kicked in the door causing us all to fall in into line formation as we began seeing women and children run and scurry around causing Ross to yell, "Do not move! We come in peace to the women and children of this town but we will not hesitate to do what must be done if you guys try anything."

I held my rifle up with my trigger finger at a resting position watching as they all just listened.

"We are not here to hurt you all, we are looking for this man...Akhil Keram, he look familiar?" I asked now holding up a picture of him in the other hand

"You all will not disrespect your families by telling us who this man is...he is threatening terror not only in our country but yours. So we peacefully ask, where is Keram?" I said showing them all the picture as Banks began translating exactly what I said

"Antum imyean lan tahtarimuu eayilatikum bi likhbarina
man hu hadha alrajul ... 'iinah yuhadid al'iirhab lays
faqat fi baladina walakin fi baladikum. lidhalik nas'al
bisalam 'ayn Keram?" He said

One of the older ladies then said lowly, "la yujad rijal huna. eindama tustakhdim alnisa' wal'atfal kadurue lak , fa ant last rilaan."

"What did she say, Lieutenant?" Boone asked

"She said 'There are no men here. When you use women and children as your shields you are to be nothing of a man'" He answered before she looked over toward the back room indicating that's where he was

"Ramirez, get these women and children out of here," I said as me and the guys eased over toward the back door and he began leading the innocent women and children out of the building

Boone then gave us all the hand signals that we were about to breach and surround causing us all to fall in position.

I then slowly made my way to the door before shots rang out causing Houston to pull me back just as I swiftly moved away as a reflex feeling an excruciating burn on my chest.

"Fuck" I groaned at the feeling of my vest stopping the bullet

"Those were definitely plated bullets, straighten up Captain," Houston said patting my shoulder with a small smile as we let this guy shoot rampantly as we calmly took cover

"It doesn't stop the shit from hurting like hell," I replied feeling my cheeks redden from the pain

Hearing the machine gun jam I then angrily made my way toward the door kicking the remainder of the door in as the guys followed in after me finding him standing in the middle of the room with him trying to quickly unjam the gun.

I then briskly grabbed the body of the gun, bashing him in the face with it causing him to fall as Boone grabbed the gun taking the magazine out and the gun apart while I pulled Keram to his feet before slamming him into the nearby wooden table causing it to shatter and him to groan.

I was more than pissed off. He shot me, the shit hurt like hell, and was going to leave a bruise that when I got home in a few days I am going to have to explain this to my wife.

"Do not touch me!" He yelped as I got on top of him and punched him swiftly one time knocking him out

"Okay, let's strip him of weapons and possible trackers then get him back to base," I said to the guys as I stood up breathing heavily and steadily backing away

"Great job Seals." Our Admiral said to us as he walked down the line shaking each of our hands

"Thank you, sir." We all replied in cadence

"I hear you are retiring to desk work?" He then asked Boone with a smile

"Yes, sir, this is my last tour." He replied causing our Admiral to look over at me with a smile

"And you...I'm excited to see you leading this team once my brother here takes his break!" Our Admiral said while looking at me with a smile

"Your wife served didn't she?" He asked

"Yes, sir, for 9 years," I answered

"And she was a Seal too correct?" He then asked

"Yes, sir," I replied

"Well, I hope to meet her at the Military ball. A lot of people speak highly about you and her." He said with a smile causing me to nod as I said, "Thank you, sir."

"You guys run this place. Legends! All of you. You guys just keep making me proud!" Our Admiral concluded as he walked off of our plane

"Yes, sir." We all said one last time before our plane was cleared for take-off

"I'm surprised he didn't throw hands with the Admiral about Dinah boys!" Ross said beginning to laugh breaking the serious tone that was here when the Admiral was

"Shut up!" I replied while chuckling lowly

"Does Dinah know you're coming home early?" Banks asked causing me to shake my head "No" as I said, "Nope, I'm surprising her so if you all don't mind please let me get a bit of peaceful sleep."

"Me too, I got another boy I'm trying to make," Houston said

"Exactly!" I agreed while laughing

"Man, we can't even have you two alone for bro time anymore!" Franks complained causing me to roll my eyes

"Oh, whatever, I am going to sleep and you need to discuss that with Dinah," I replied while yawning lowly

"I will too!" Franks said causing me to laugh
