"You excited about the new orders?" Colton asked as I lay in his arms

Although, it had been a few weeks since my family had left, what my Mom had told me was still on my mind.

The situation had begun worrying him so much one day that I could feel the shallow pain that ran through him, which was another reason why I needed to know more than what he was telling me.

Us praying about it was easing the pain but still as his wife, I needed the enlightenment.

"I'm excited as long as we are together." I replied looking up at him before hearing a noise at the door as Banks said loudly, "Hello!!"

"There are your brothers," I said beginning to laugh as Colton looked toward the ceiling with his eyes closed as he groaned lowly

"I swear they didn't come and visit me this much until you came into the picture." He said as I got out of his lap

I then slipped on his hoodie that lay on the nearby love couch as he went to the door seeing it was none other than some of my favorite Navy Seals with smiles on their faces.

Max then ran over greeting them as they hugged Colton, "Hey, brother!" Ross then said as I walked over with a smile

"Dinah!" They cheered as they gave me a group hug causing Colton to look at Ross and Houston blankly

"Hi, guys." I said hugging them back before Colton gently grabbed me and pulled me away while laughing, "Okay, that's enough!" He said wrapping his arms around me

"Wait, wait, wait!" Houston said before grabbing Colton's left hand seeing he was wearing his wedding band

"Is this what I think it is?" He then asked with his mouth agape in excitement before Ross grabbed my hand seeing I was wearing my wedding ring

Colton then kissed my cheek and said, "She's my Dinah boys" referring to the fact 3 years ago they began calling me 'our Dinah'

"I'm still processing this...you and him are engaged?" Houston asked with a small smile

"Well, by the state of Texas we are married!" Colton answered causing them to jump up and down in excitement as they cheered like a high school football team on a winning streak

"I knew it! He's absolutely in love." Ross said with a smile

"How did this happen?" Houston asked with a smile as Colton looked over toward me as he said, "It happened when she stepped through my front door."

"Isn't this just the day of surprise? Our next orders came in today and we're moving to San Diego." Ross then said

"Yeah, tomorrow, they want the entire squad down at base at 8 sharp so the Admiral can give us our paperwork before sending us off," Houston said after causing us to both nod

"Alright, brother, we love ya but we have to go because I promised the misses we'd start this whole moving process earlier than it needed to be done," Houston said

"And he's my ride!" Ross added causing us to laugh

"See you guys tomorrow then, stay safe and we love you guys too," I said as Colton and I hugged them before they made their exit

"Sounds like someone is excited we're moving to California," Colton said softly wrapping his arms around my waist and pressing his body against my backside as I washed the last dish in the sink

"Yes, Mushy, we are finally settling down, it's closer to my family, California is a liberal state and I absolutely love it out there" I ranted happily as he began kissing my neck gently and I dried my hands

"I love it when you're happy." He said lowly as I smiled before finally turning to face him

"You know what really would make me happy?" I said as he lifted me into his arms and placed me on the counter

"What's that?" He asked as I placed my hands on his cheeks

"If you tell me about your ex-fiancé and Father," I answered causing him to look away

"Baby, I need to know so I can help you on your bad days like you're able to help me on mine. I know you think about what they did to you and I know I want to be there for you but you and I both know I can't if I don't know about that big chunk of your past that you are hiding from me." I explained causing him to sigh

"It's not that I'm hiding it from you, Dinah, it's just some things about my Father I don't know how to say aloud, and my ex ties into that. I just need to figure out how to put everything in words and I promise to you and God that I will tell you everything." He replied turning back to face me as I looked at him with soft eyes

Yes, I wanted him to tell me about the past he was trying to run away from. I could feel that he felt bad for not telling me earlier, but there was no way I was going to let his conscience ruin our night because I wasn't upset like he thought I was. I just wanted Colton to know I was there to protect him when he did and didn't need me to.

"Well, let me just tell you some things I personally believe about the man I decided to marry. I believe you know I have your back...I believe you're the strongest man I know. Hmm. I believe you are incredibly alluring in every aspect..." I began ranting as I slowly trailed my fingers down his stomach, "And I believe wholeheartedly you know I don't like when you walk around the house in these pesky things. " I concluded with a little smirk tugging the bottom of his shirt

He then laughed and slipped off his shirt as he said, "I don't like you wearing panties or a bra but you don't see me complaining."

I then lifted myself from the counter and pulled off my shorts and shirt before slipping off my panties and reaching behind my back unclasping the bra.

"That's all you had to say," I said handing him the matching bra and thong

I then grabbed his shirt and slipped it over my body as he just stared at me with a slight smirk, "Dinah, you just don't know when I get the chance..." He said as he chuckled lowly

I then kissed his chest before looking back up at him and saying, "I guess our honeymoons gonna get both of us in trouble, huh?" as he did nothing but stare at me while biting his lip gently

A/N: And I oop- 😮‍💨 They pressure. Anyway, this chapter was a filler so kinda boring, sorry, but the next chapter 😩 It's finna be something!
