"Yoh, man, you ready to go?!" Kaylen called impatiently as he waited for Lewis to finish up getting dressed. "Yeah, I can't find my phone anywhere," Lewis said, walking out of the bathroom. "Jamie has it. You dropped it in the car. Let's go." Kaylen spoke, heading to the door. Lewis followed him and they got downstairs to the lobby. Jamie escorted them to the car and then they were on their way to the after party.

"Feels weird going to a party without Kez," Lewis comments, scrolling through his phone as Jamie had returned it to him.

"You right. She makes everything fun." Kaylen chuckled.

They finally got there, and separated from each other as Lewis got caught up talking with someone. Kaylen pushed his way through to the bar and conveniently found Victoria sitting at the bar downing some shots like water. "Ouch. Who's fault was it?" He questioned. She sighed, setting the glass back down, "it was his, again. Like, it's my day and he wants to make it about himself when I ask if he can watch our daughter so I can have fun and celebrate."

"What a cunt. You should break up with him," Kaylen advised, taking a sip of his drink the bartender passed him.

Vic shook her head in objection to the suggestion, "I can't do that. It would devastate Hazel."

"Do you love him?" Kaylen quiered, noticing how she lacked to talk about her relationship with John. She only seemed to have been thinking of Hazel. "Uhh, I mean, we have a child together so I guess so," she shrugged, sipping on some water so she could balance out the alcohol. "Nah, but like are you in love? Why did y'all get together?" He frowned in confusion, honestly a little invested in the drama.

"Um, we didn't get together until I found out I was pregnant with Hazel. It was kinda just casual. He was my personal trainer." Victoria explained, and Kaylen's eyes widened slightly at the new information. "So, y'all are only together because of the child, and you don't actually have any feelings for him?" Vic shamefully nodded, cringing slightly from hearing it out loud. "I mean, I liked him in the first few months after Hazel's birth, but then he kinda drifted off. He's always so distracted and distant now."

"You think he's cheating?" Kaylen suggested.

"What? No. No. Definitely not. He's probably just distracted with work." Victoria waved it off, and downed another shot of tequila. "Yeah, could just be that. My boyfriend is constantly stressed with work right now so we haven't seen each other in what feels like weeks." Kaylen said, hoping to make her feel a bit better about her situation. "Really? What does your boyfriend do?" She asked, glad he was switching the topic onto himself.

"Oh, he's a race engineer for my teammate, Mick. He was mine at first but my dad said if we dated, then I had to switch engineers. So now my race engineer is my uncle. Basically, don't worry about your man, okay? Have some fun tonight. You're a Grammy winner now. You should celebrate." Kaylen smiled, nudging her and she chuckled. He ordered some more shots for them, finding out her favorite was tequila. She liked to call it her best friend.

"You know, you are so different from your sister," Victoria comments.

"Thank you. Unlike my crazy older sister and her bestfriend, I actually don't have my head shoved up my ass." Kaylen grinned, and she laughed at his words, nodding in agreement. "I haven't spent much time with Keziyah to know what she's really like, but I do know Lewis and I don't use this word often, but he has got to be the definition of desperate slut. I have never met someone so determined to get in my pants. It's crazy, honestly."

"I agree, him and Kez created the word slut. They can be really cool, but sometimes they do be actin' like they're God's great gift to earth." Kaylen explained, even he was tired of their arrogance. "Ugh, literally. I get he's like the greatest F1 driver of all time, but it doesn't mean he has to act like every girl on earth wants him." She ranted, pouring herself some more tequila as Kaylen had bought her the bottle. He nodded in agreement and noticed Lewis signaling him to go so he could talk to her.

"I'm gonna go dance," Kaylen shouted over the music and she nodded, encouraging it. He went off to dance with her friends who had tried to get her to dance too but she turned it down.

"You look lonely." Withholding the urge to roll her eyes, she turned to see Lewis standing where Kaylen previously was. "Don't you have some other lonely woman to bother?" She questioned boredly. "I totally could, but I wanna bother you," he shrugged, sipping on his drink of Almave. "I can pretend to like you, but we don't have cameras on us anymore so I don't have to pretend anymore. I don't like you." Victoria stated in pure annoyance and disdain.

"That's totally fine. I just have one question. Why did you ask me to escort you to the stage when your boyfriend was right there?" Lewis questioned, a smug smile resting on his lips. She shrugged, "you were closer." He scoffed, shaking his head, "nah, he was right there, but you ignored him and chose me. Why was that?" She went quiet, averting her eyes to the bar and staring at her drink.

He leaned closer to her, "you like me, don't you?"

She scoffed, shaking her head a bit too quickly for her liking, "what? No, I don't! I hate you actually. You're so annoying."

"Do you think that or does your boyfriend think that? I think your boyfriend does. I think he views me as competition and that's why he's so adamant on making you hate me." Lewis suggested very knowingly, and she rolled her eyes, shaking her head in denial. "Are you so full of yourself that you can't accept me actually hating you completely on my own? Do you always hit on taken women and blame the boyfriend when they don't want you?"

"Nah. You're actually the first woman I've hit on who has boyfriend, unfortunately." Lewis muttered the last word with heavy disdain.

"Oh really? You don't normally enjoy wrecking families?" Victoria retorts sarcastically, leaning against the bar with mock interest.

"Not happy ones at least," he shrugged, a smile still rested on his lips.

"So, what? You think I'm not happy?" Victoria deadpanned, squinting her eyes in confusion. He nodded with certainty, "I know for a fact that you aren't happy. I mean, you didn't thank him in your speech, you didn't kiss him all night, you didn't fight me to sit next to him, and you asked for my hand instead of his. That told me everything I needed to know. You also deleted your comment on my post so that tells me he's got some serious jealousy issues."

Before she could answer, her phone went off and his eyes twinkled with amusement, "ooh, is that the boyfriend? Is it your curfew already?" She clenched her jaw, picking up her phone to check the text message. Of course it was John asking her to come back to the hotel so they could celebrate properly. She didn't want to prove him right so instead, she turned her phone off.

"You wanna dance?" Victoria asked begrudgingly.

"Sure, but you might have to teach me because I'm a terrible dancer." Lewis chuckled, setting down his empty glass. She smiled and took his hand, pulling him over to the dance floor. They danced for what seemed like hours, time passed by like nothing. People began to confuse them for a couple with how attached they were all night. His hands were always on her and she was always leaned up against him. She was having an amazing time celebrating, and her team also loved him, so maybe that was a plus.

She leaned against him, his arms around her as her back pressed against his chest. He only had a thin white button up that was opened, so she could feel his hot skin against hers. They were having a conversation with a drunk Kaylen who was rambling about his problems with his boyfriend. Lewis got a message from his phone so he dropped one of hands to check the message. After reading it, he leaned down towards her ear, "hey, I have to go check up on my nephew, he's in the hospital. Would you wanna come with? We can drop you off after."

"Uhh, yeah sure. I wanna make sure Kaylen gets back safe." Victoria nodded, and he smiled.

With the help of Jamie, they got Kaylen into the car without any injuries. Lewis helped her inside next before getting in himself. "Take us to Kara's hospital, please," he requested of the driver. Victoria leaned back comfortably, a little nervous because she only just met them. But maybe it was her mother instincts that wanted for her to make sure Kaylen got back safe and sound. "Does he normally get drunk like this?" She questioned.

"Uh, normally after winning a race," Lewis shrugged, leaning forward to push Kaylen's leg back onto the seat. Last thing he needed was for him to flop down onto the floor.

"I have a question," Victoria turned her body to face him and she had his full attention as always. "Why did Keziyah's label turn me down?" She asked. He obviously knew the answer, but he also didn't want to speak on his bestfriend's behalf because she always had her reasons. "Honestly, I wish I could tell you, but I can't. Kez is a very particular person, and she has her reasons for choices she makes. The only one who can give you an answer is her."

"Right..but like, it wasn't because of my music, right?" She questioned, needing some kind of assurance.

"No, of course not. She loves your music. It had nothing to do with your music. She thinks you're incredibly talented." Lewis reassured, moving closer to take her hand in his. She smiled, her head falling with nervousness as he pressed a kiss to her knuckles. "Do you think so?" He raised a brow, "do I think you're incredibly talented?" She nodded in reply. "Of course I do, but you shouldn't need my approval. You don't need anyone's approval but your own."

"So...what about you? Why move to Ferrari? I always imagined you'd wanna finish your career with Mercedes." Victoria spoke, and she didn't know every detail about his leave, but obviously everyone who knew about motorsports, knew that Lewis's move to Ferrari would go down in history as one of the worst or best decisions he's made in his entire racing career.

"Honestly, it all just came down to whether I was happy, and if I felt appreciated and valued. I could feel them giving up on me. And I just couldn't surround myself with a team that has little to no faith in me. Ferrari is different. They believed in me. They were there when my team wasn't. They respected me. They valued me. They appreciated me not just for all I've accomplished, but just as a person. That's the kind of team I want to finish my career in."

"Well, I think that you made a great decision to leave. In the end, it always comes down to respect. If you don't have it, then you find somewhere you will." Victoria stated. "Exactly. See? You get it. Nobody ever gets it." Lewis sighed in relief, glad she wasn't like the others who said he should finish with Mercedes despite it all. "You should come to a race. I want you to come to a race. Can you? Any of them, it doesn't matter. I just really want you there." He said, taking both of her hands in his.

"I can see if my schedule allows it, yeah." Victoria smiled, nodding her head.

The car stopped and they glanced out to see they were outside the hospital. They climbed out and Jamie carried Kaylen inside. They got to the pediatric floor and found Kaikara at the nurses station still in her scrubs. She sighed at the sight of her son, "this boy gives me a headache. Follow me." They followed her into an empty room and Jamie set Kaylen on the bed. Kara and Victoria tucked him in so he wouldn't roll out because he moved a lot in his sleep. She put an IV in and gave him some fluids so he wouldn't wake up with a bad headache.

"Thank you for bringing him. I'll show you to Kaidyn." Kaikara smiled, escorting the two out, Jamie already on his way back to the car.

Kara pushed open the door and a loud thump was heard. Jae groaned tiredly, getting up from the floor as he had rolled off the couch. Kara chuckled at her husband and leaned down to press a kiss to his head. "Now I see where Kaylie get his clumsiness from," Kez comments, laid down in the hospital bed with Kaidyn cuddled up next her. He refused to fall asleep unless she was there. "Shush, child," Kara scolded.

"Where is my lovely brother by the way?" Kez questioned, looking towards the two standing at the closed door.

"Drunk, sleeping in a kids bed." Lewis chuckled, walking over to sit by the bed, setting his hand over Kaidyn's. "Sounds just like him." Kez mused. Vic frowned, walking over to the bed, looking down at the sleeping child in concern. "Is he okay? What happened?" Kez smiled softly at her concern, brushing Kai's curls from his face. "Baby boy got into a fight, and ruptured his appendix from a punch to the tummy. He'll be fine. It was a minor surgery." She leaned down, pressing a kiss to her son's head.

"Did he win?" Lewis asked, completely forgetting to ask that earlier.

"He's my child. Of course he won. The other boy is in the next room. Taught him a good ass lesson cause he came in here with a real nice apology." Kez said, smiling proudly, receiving a scolding look from her parents. "I salam-i dangsin-ui sae yeojachingu-ingayo, Lewis?" Jae asked, clearly referring to Victoria who pulled up a chair next to him, setting her hand over Kaidyn's.

[translation: i salam-i dangsin-ui sae yeojachingu-ingayo = is this your new girlfriend]

"As if he could pull her," Kez mocked, and Lewis shot her a glare as Victoria looked at them all in confusion.

"Both of you, enough. It's rude to talk about people in another language when they are present," Kaikara scolded, even hitting her husband's shoulder for starting it when he could've asked in English. "You guys were talking about me?" Victoria questioned, not knowing if she should be offended or not. "Not anything bad, baby. Just wondering if y'all together or not. That's all, mama." Kez reassured in her usual flirty tone.

"Dude, don't flirt with my girl," Lewis scolded, hitting her shoulder.

"Hold up, I am not your girl." Victoria corrected knowingly, causing the three adults to crack up whilst Lewis just looked offended.

"So, what I'm hearing is..you're available?" Kez smirked, and Lewis scoffed, turning to glare at her for even suggesting that.

"Kez, I will literally challenge you," Lewis stated in all seriousness.

She squinted her eyes, "you wouldn't dare."

"Oh, I would," Lewis smirked.

"Cut it out! We have a guest here who is unfamiliar with your dumb challenges." Kaikara scolded, walking over to the bed with some soft earmuffs to cover Kaidyn's ears. She knew he probably wouldn't hear them but she wanted to make sure he wouldn't wake up feeling overwhelmed from any loud noises. "Nah, he lucky I ain't in the mood cause I would crush him in that challenge," Kez expressed.

"In your dreams," Lewis scoffed, leaning back in his chair.

The door opened and Kez smiled at the sight of her actual girls. "I am so sorry I'm late. We stopped for some food cause we figured y'all might be hungry." Tinashe said, setting down Kamari's bags. Lewis and Vic both moved on the other side so Kamari could be on the side closer to her brother. She sat down and took her brother's hands with sad eyes. "He'll be okay, right?"

"He'll be okay. Just two little scars." Kez assured, pressing a kiss to her daughter's hand.

"You wanna trade places?" Kez asked and Kamari immediately nodded. Kara assisted in holding Kaidyn still so Mari could slip into her mum's place. Kez got out carefully and Mari laid down for Kara to lower him back onto her. Mari's friend KK sat down in the chair and handed her the vegan strawberry milkshake they got.

"Thank you so much for picking them up," Kez said, putting her arms around Tinashe. "It was no problem." She smiled, pressing their lips together softly. Before it could get messy, Lewis cleared his throat to remind her to stop. Kez pulled away, shooting Lewis a thankful look. "I got you some gum. It's cherry. Your favorite." Tinashe said, handing her a big pack of gum before sitting down on the chair next to KK.

"You are amazing." Kez mumbled, pulling open the pack and taking two out of the wrapper to pop in her mouth.

"Give me some," Kara requested, and Kez snorts, passing her two of them. Where did you think Kez got most of her habits?

"Mama, can you get us some of that good cafeteria chocolate pudding?" Kamari requested, both her and KK giving Kez pleading eyes. Kez pursed her lips and looked to her mother, "Mama, can you get my kids some of that good cafeteria chocolate pudding?" Kara blinked and sighed, getting up from the couch and walking towards the door. "I'll see what I can do." Mari and KK silently cheered but quickly stopped when Kez shot them a glare.

"We should get going. I'll stop by in the morning when he's awake." Lewis said, and she nods, the two sharing their special handshake. "All right. Love ya, man."

"Thank you for your kindness. I hope he feels better. I'll keep him in my prayers." Victoria said, and Kez smiled, bowing her head, "thank you, that's very sweet." Lewis pulled open the door and Victoria stepped out but before he left, he looked to Tinashe, "just so you know, Kez was totally flirting with her before you got here. Just thought you should know that if it's getting pretty serious." He smiled, shooting his best friend a wink before shutting the door.

Tinashe turned to Kez, who's face had dropped, "baby- let me explain. Maybe I flirted- but only to get under his skin, okay? I promise. It meant nothing." She assured, her words oddly soothing for some reason. Mari and KK both shared a look, withholding the urge to laugh. "Jae?" Tinashe turned to him, and he looked up with wide eyes, really wanted no part of his daughter's messy love life. But he rather Kez not kill him for messing it up.

"Uh, she's not lying. She was just joking around." Jae said, and Kez internally sighed in relief.

"See? I would never do that to you, baby." Kez smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek and she smiled, putting her arms around the taller woman.

"Are you sure she won't kill you?" Victoria crossed her arms over her chest with a suspicious look.

"She will be perfectly okay with it. I promise. Just get in the car. I don't want her to see us." Lewis assured, popping open the door to the custom dark purple Ferrari. Lewis thought it'd be a great idea to take Kezie's car because he took her key when she wasn't looking. "She is gon' kill you." Vic sighed, getting into the passenger seat. "She'll get over it." Lewis shrugged, walking around the other side and getting into the drivers seat. He started it up and smiled at how perfect it sounded. He pulled out of the lot and then his phone rang.

Victoria reached for it, her eyes widening at the contact name. "Oh, my God. I think it's her."

"Fuck. Does it say 'evil twin'?" He questioned and she nodded, a little concerned with the name. "Answer it." With a bit of hesitation, she answered the call. "YOU SON OF A BITCH! IMMA KILL YOU! BRING MY CAR BACK RIGHT NOW! IM GONNA BEAT YA ASS. YOU BETTA WATCH YOUR BACK, I SWEAR TO-" Lewis winced and hung up the phone quickly or she'd probably try to track it down.

"I'm gonna give her some time to cool off," he shrugged.

"Hey, I'm going to my niece's basketball tryouts, and I don't know if you're like busy or anything but, I was hoping you'd consider coming with me?" Lewis suggested. "Uhh, when is it?" Vic asked, hoping she might be able to get John to agree to watching Hazel so she could go. "Thursday, next week. You can bring Hazel, too. It's gonna be lots of fun. Maybe she can bond with Kaidyn." He explained.

"Okay, yeah, I'm in." Victoria grinned excitedly, all it took was her knowing she didn't have to worry about John complaining about watching Hazel.

"Do you want my number? So I can call you?" Lewis asked, holding out his phone to her as he casually drove the familiar streets of LA. "Sure." She nodded, taking his phone and turning it on. She guessed his password was all 4s and got it correct because it opened for her. She noticed his lockscreen was a picture of Kez doing a snow angel from their trip they went on. She saved her number and took a little selfie for the picture. She obviously added a little brown heart next to her name. Then she texted her own phone so she could save his number.

"Pose," she directed, trying to get a good picture of him as they were at the stoplight.

"Got it. You look good." Vic mumbled the last part as she added a white heart next to his name.

"You wanna stop for some food? I'm pretty hungry." He suggested, finding an excuse to not take her back to her boyfriend. "Yeah, sure." She agreed, leaning back into the seat comfortably. "Are you good with vegan?" He questioned, obviously wanting to make sure she had options. "Yes, definitely. I don't eat dairy, most of the time, but I do try to be as vegan as possible. I really like cheese so I'm not like completely vegan if that makes sense."

"No, that makes sense. I got it." Lewis chuckles, pulling into a lot of a restaurant he knew would be open late. They got out and walked inside, Lewis greeting the waitress who was a little too flirty for Victoria's liking. "Follow me." The two followed the woman to a table in a more quiet and reserved area. "Can I get y'all started with any drinks?" She asked as they sat down.

"I'll just have a water." Vic shrugged, unsure if champagne was a good idea considering all the alcohol she consumed at the party. The woman nodded, and turned to Lewis with a flirtatious smile. "What can I get you?" Lewis glanced at the options and none of them seemed super appealing at the moment. So water it was. "I'll have a water, too."

"Okay. I will give y'all a minute to look over the menu. Be right back with those drinks." She smiled, turning to leave and Vic internally rolled her eyes.

"Do you come here a lot?" Victoria asked, glancing up from the menu to look at him.

"When I'm in LA, yeah. It's one of Kezie's favorites. She's friends with the chef." Lewis answered. Victoria nodded at the information, her eyes landing on the sandwich menu. She couldn't help but think of her daughter when she seen that. Hazel would've tried to order the entire sandwich menu. "I've lived in LA for a long time and I've somehow never heard of this place. That's so weird."

"It's a bit of hidden gem," Lewis chuckles.

"You bring all your girls here?" Vic mused.

He smiled, shaking his head, "no, I've only ever been here with Kez." Vic went quiet, ignoring the feeling she got in her stomach. Thankfully she didn't have to reply because the waitress was back with the waters. She took their orders and left again, but Vic noticed how she winked at Lewis before she left. "I'm sorry- you do realize she's been basically flirting with you from the second we got here? Or are you just playing stupid? I'm confused."

"Oh, I noticed," he shrugged nonchalantly.

She blinked, "uh..you gonna say anything? She's practically offering herself up on a silver platter."

"You sound jealous. Is that what you are?" Lewis smirked, his eyes twinkling with amusement. She scoffed, rolling her eyes in annoyance. "I'm not jealous. I actually couldn't care less." He nods slowly, a small smile etched on his lips aa he thought of something. "If you're not jealous, you wouldn't mind if I like- got her number or something?" He suggested with faux seriousness.

"I mean- do what you want. I don't care. It's not like I'm your girl or something." She shrugged, but he could see she was clearly bothered by it.

The waitress returned just on time with their food, still giving Lewis flirty looks but he was more focused on the fact that Vic was completely ignored when she asked for a fork for her salad. "Can you bring over some silverware for my girlfriend please?" Lewis requested, causing the woman to clear her throat awkwardly and nod, "sure."

"So, I never got to ask, but what'd you think about collaborating?" Lewis asked casually, as if he didn't just call her his girlfriend. I mean, it got the waitress off his back but still. There was no warning. "Uh- I'm sorry, what? You said collaborating? As in, you want me to work on a song with you- and Keziyah?" She asked, completely shocked by that because that would be like working with Beyoncรฉ or Rihanna. Everyone wanted to collab with Keziyah.

"Yes, we really enjoy your music and songwriting. I think it'd be a really good combination of voices. Would you be interested?" He asked, as if working with him and Keziyah wasn't a dream to artists. "Would I be interested? Are you kidding? Of course I am! That sounds amazing. I'll let my team know." Vic grinned and he smiled at her excitement. "You can tell them, but it has to be kept under the wraps. Kez doesn't want anyone to know she's working on a new album because last time the songs got leaked."

"Right, yeah, I totally get that. We won't tell anyone. I'm just so excited to work with her. I've looked up to her for so long." Victoria said, smiling at the thought of actually being a feature on a Keziyah album. "Oh, trust me, she knows. Don't tell her I told you, because she'll kill me. But, she's been watching your career for a long time and she's always admired your music. We were actually both at your tour last year. You didn't see us, but we were there."

"Shut up. You were? Oh, my God. Which one was it?" Victoria held a hand over her mouth, a little nervous about this new information because screwing up just wasn't an option when you were performing in front of the queen of performances. "It was the show you did in LA. We got tickets for Kamari as a gift for graduating. We were in disguise, so that's why you didn't see us." Lewis explained, chuckling softly at the memory. Mari had made him wear a wig for laughs.

Victoria laughed, "why did y'all wear a disguise?"

"Kez didn't want to be noticed because she had her hair a certain way for her Marvel movie. I had to wear a wig and everything. I looked like a singer from the 80s." He recalled, causing her to giggle. A different waitress came back with Victoria's silverware, offering a polite nod to her before leaving. "I don't know much about you. Tell me more about yourself." Lewis requested, really wishing to know more about her.

"Uhh, it's really not anything interesting. My real last name is McCants, actually. I turn 35 on the first of May. I was born in Atlanta but moved to Sacramento when I was a kid. I used to sing church choir, and started dancing in middle school. I was in a performing arts program in high school, which is what really got me into poetry, and songwriting. That's really how I came up into the industry. When I was signed to Atlantic Records, that's when I started releasing my own music."

"That was in like 2014, right? I remember Kez listening to it." Lewis recalled.

"It was, wow, she actually listened to it?" Victoria smiled.

"Yeah, she was going through tons of cds that were sent to the label. She really liked it. It was very good." Lewis explained, gaining a smile from her. "You uh, you said you sung in choir? Did you go to catholic school?" He questioned. She nods, "I did, I went to catholic school for years. I grew up very religious. My faith is super important to me."

"Really? Me too. I kinda hated it though, if I'm completely honest." Lewis admitted, taking a sip of his water.

"Seriously? Me too. I never told anyone but I hated it so much. I literally begged my mom to change our address so I could be in the performing arts program. Catholic school was hell for me, which is a little ironic because I'm still very religious despite." Victoria chuckled, and took another bit of her food.

"I completely relate to that. Catholic school was the worst, especially being that it was in Europe. I actually learned karate to protect myself because I was constantly being bullied. But I'm still very religious, if you couldn't tell." Victoria gave him a knowing look and he smiled innocently, "is that you're way of asking if I've seen your tattoos?" He shrugged sheepishly, "..maybe, I mean- have you seen them?"

"Everyone has seen them. You practically parade around naked." Victoria snorts.

"Oh really? Are you actually complaining about that?" Lewis shot back swiftly.

Victoria went quiet, and returned to eating her salad, only hearing a chuckle from him. "You said you begged your mum. What about your dad?" He queried. "Uh, he's in prison, but I don't consider him a dad. He was never in my life. It was really just me and my mom, and I'm so thankful for her. I wasn't the most responsible kid." Victoria answered, shrugging her shoulder.

"Well, your mum did an amazing job. I should really thank her in person." Lewis said, gaining a laugh from her, glad he wasn't giving her any pity.

"So, what do you like to do for fun?" She questioned, really wanting to know more about him for some reason. Before this, she didn't even like him, and sometimes she still didn't, but maybe he was growing on her. Just a little, obviously.

"That's a good question. I really love skydiving, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, and really anything to do with an adrenaline rush." He answered ever so casually, "what about you?" She blinked, just trying to process that information. "Uh, wow, that's hard to compete with. My version of fun is a fluffy pillow, some pajamas, and a bucket of ice cream." Victoria stated in complete seriousness.

Lewis chuckled, already planning dates in his head. "I have really gotta do something about that. You need some adrenaline in your life, darling."

"Oh yeah? And are you gonna teach me?" Victoria shot back jokingly, but he nodded in full seriousness. "If you allow me to, then yes, I will. I imagine you'll be great at it. You've certainly got the body for it.." He trailed off, his eyes falling onto her chest until she snapped her fingers. "Eyes are up here, Mr. Hamilton."

"It's Sir Hamilton, actually," he corrected in a sassy manner that had her snickering.

"Okay, Sir." She said mockingly before tilting her head, her eyes glinted with curiosity, "tell me..what's your real goal here tonight?" He pursed his lips, leaning back as he pretending to think about it. "You know, I haven't really decided yet. I guess I've just been trying to make you not hate me." She hummed, leaning forward, and he did the same, keeping his eyes in contact with hers. "I'm not sure if it's working. I'm still on the fence about you from our first interaction."

"I did come off a bit strong, didn't I?" He pondered, a small smile on his lips because he remembered the effect it still had on her.

He received an incredulous look from her. "Just a bit? You suggested fucking me against your trophy case in our first interaction." He couldn't hide his smirk when she said that, and that only further irritated her. "That offer is still very open by the way." She scoffed, rolling her eyes at his cocky attitude from earlier. "You do realize I have a boyfriend, right? You can't just suggest things like that."

"If you actually have a care in the world for this boyfriend, why are you out with me then?" Lewis countered smoothly, leaning back with a knowing smirk.

Her eyes fell in realization, which only fueled his ego. "Check please!" She requested, eager to get the fuck out of there and back to her actual life. Deep down, she herself was wondering why she was even here when she could've just been with her actual boyfriend and daughter.

"Ah, the realization hit you. I was hoping I got some more time." Lewis said knowingly, causing her to look at him in confusion. Then she realized it. Maybe she wasn't the first woman he's done this with. How typical. "How could I be so stupid? You are just like all the other assholes I've dated. You come off strong and make me like you, but really you just want in my pants." She muttered angrily, getting up from the chair.

"Nic- I mean Vic- could you let me explain?" He requested, getting up and taking her hand to pull her back. She blinked in shock, "who the fuck is Nic?" He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. She scoffed, shaking her head, "I don't even wanna know. Just pay the bill and take me back. I'll wait outside." Victoria said, pulling her hand out of his grip and walking away.

She pulled her arms together at the freezing weather, waiting for him by the Ferrari. She was extremely confused. She had no idea who this Nic person was. The name didn't ring a bell at all. Maybe they were an ex or something. She really didn't know much about his dating history. But she did know he dated Nicole Scherzinger. And that was probably the person he accidentally called her. "Fuck," she muttered in disdain. Why did she care so much?

She didn't even know she was still freezing until she felt a coat pulled around her shoulders. Lewis stood in front of her, now lacking his coat. "Can you let me explain, please? I'm really sorry. It just slipped out. I wasn't thinking." Victoria frowned, really hating this whole situation. "Why were you even thinking about her? Do you enjoy comparing your exes with me or something? I don't understand. Am I like her?"

"No, no, you're nothing like her. I wasn't comparing you to her. The situation just brought back some unwanted memories and the name slipped out. I never meant any disrespect. I had an amazing time tonight and that's literally all thanks to you. Again, I'm really sorry." Lewis spoke apologetically, rubbing her arms softly to warm her up. She sighed, pulling the coat closer to her, "can you just take me back, please?"

"Of course." Lewis nodded, a bit upset about his screw up.

The ride back to the hotel was quiet, nobody cared to speak. He wanted to, but he knew she didn't want to hear anything else from him so he didn't. He still insisted on walking her up to her room, and she allowed it. "Thanks for walking me up, and the amazing night even if it didn't go perfectly." Victoria spoke, using her card to carefully unlock the door, not wanting anyone to wake up.

"Did you still want to see Kamari's tryouts?" Lewis asked, hoping he didn't fuck up so much that she didn't want anything to do with them. He knew how much Kamari liked Victoria ever since she watched her open for Ariana Grande years ago.

"I do. She needs lot of support and I want to improve Hazel's social life." Victoria chuckled.

Almost as if she was summoned, Hazel ran over to the door. "Lewis!" She giggled, running over to hug him. He chuckled, kneeling down to her height to properly hug her. "Hey. How's my favorite princess doing?" He smiled, pressing a little kiss to her hand. "Hazel, get back to bed," John said, pulling the girl back into the room. She frowned, looking to her mom for help. Vic sighed, frowning apologetically, "you heard your Dad. Back to bed. I'll come tuck you in."

Hazel sighed, waving sadly to her friend, "bye, Lewis."

"Night, princess. Don't let the bed bugs bite." Lewis said, and she giggled, running back into her room.

"He just gave me a ride home, that's it." Victoria reassured towards her boyfriend. "Thanks for the ride," she smiled softly, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek. "Get in the room," John grabbed her arm and pulled her back inside. "Hey, get your fucking hands off her, man. She knows how to walk. She doesn't need your help." Lewis said, and Vic sighed in relief as he let go.

"It's fine." Vic assured, giving him a small wave before going off to Hazel's room.

"You need to stay the hell away from my girlfriend, man. I don't wanna see you near her again." John said, and Lewis just grinned, leaning in just a bit. "Oh yeah? And what if I don't agree that? What if I want to be near her? What if I wanna see her again? What if I wanna kiss her? What if I wanna fuck her too? What the fuck are you gonna do about it, mate?"

"I don't got time for this shit. I gotta go fuck my girlfriend. Stay the fuck away from us." John scoffed, backing away as the driver chuckled in amusement. "How long have you been cheating on her?" He questioned, causing John to pause in his steps. "What the fuck are you talking about?" John asked coyly. Lewis raised his brows in surprise, "oh really? I didn't take you for the liar. So, what kind of arrangement do you have? Is it the promise to leave the girlfriend? I bet it is. You look like the type to make promises you know you're too pussy to keep."

Lewis smiled at the way his eye twitched, and his hand clenched into a fist. "Ah, you look like you wanna hit me. But I strongly advise against it. It doesn't matter how much muscle you have because I would still be able to kick your ass."

"Stay away." John stated firmly before shutting the door.

"I actually really wanted to fight," Lewis mumbled, walking back down the hall to the elevator.

"I'm gonna kill you!" Kez exclaimed, tackling Lewis to the hospital floor the second he entered the room. "Ow!" Lewis groaned, rolling her over to pin her down but she was always the better fighter between the two. She had actually spent months in China learning karate for a movie. The movie got cut but she still had all that knowledge of it. "Kez, you better calm down! I don't wanna fight you!" He groaned out, knowing it was a fight he'd probably lose.

"Kick his ass," Kamari cheered, her and KK laughing together as Kaidyn just read his book on psychics.

"Nah, I'm not letting that slide. Nobody drives my baby." Kez said stubbornly, pushing him off to get to her feet. She went for a kick but he blocked it and grabbed her foot, "can we talk about this?" Kez shook her head, using her foot to kick him back. "Nope. I got three minutes to kick your ass before my mum comes in to kick mine for kicking yours." She said.

"Fine. Two minutes." Lewis sighed and she went for a hit but he blocked it, only using defense at the moment because they were actually trying to hurt each other. She just had to get her point across.

"I got Cobra Kai at home," Kamari jokes and they cheer as Kez got a hit to his stomach. She sweeped his feet and pinned him down with a sweet smile, "you give up yet?" She giggled. He rolled his eyes, "I yield," he mocked and she laughed, pulling him back up without any warning so he stumbled forward a bit. The door opened and Kaikara walked in with Jae and Kez quickly put an arm around Lewis to play it off.

Kara gave them a look of suspicion before moving over to Kaidyn, setting down his tray of breakfast food. She signed, "let me know if you need anything else." He nodded before setting down his book so he could eat. He wasn't vegan like his sister, but he did choose to eat healthy most of the time. "Did you get us more pudding?" KK asked, and Jae tossed them a tote bag filled with many cafeteria chocolate puddings. They had vegan for Mari and regular foe KK.

"That pudding tastes terrible," Lewis mumbled.

"I like it," Kez shrugged, plopping down on the sofa where her girl laid down, surprisingly still sleeping even after their karate kid shit. Lewis sat down next to her, and Tinashe groaned tiredly, kicking her legs up on both of them since they insisted on sitting down where she was sleeping. "Where's my keys?" Kez held her hand out and he rolled his eyes, pulling out her keys and setting them in her hand.

As Kara went to sit down by her husband, the door was pushed open by one of her residents. "Uhh Dr. Kumalo, you're needed in OR 2 urgently. It's the twins." She nodded, and pressed a peck to Jae's cheek before rushing out, not having any time to spare. "I'm so glad I let you talk me out of being a surgeon," Kez mused, patting Lewis's knee gratefully. "You'd be the Mark Sloan of the hospital if I didn't," he murmured.

"So, how'd it go with Ms. Monรฉt? You get lucky?" Kez queried.

"Uh..I accidentally called her Nicole," Lewis answered, and that told her all she needed to know really. "You did the worst thing ever. I'll be surprised if you can come back from that." Kez mused, unwrapping some gum and tossing it into her mouth. "I can come back from it. She's coming to Mari's practice and since you've got the new house in Connecticut, I figured you could make sure we're in the same room," Lewis proposed.

"Let's say I do that for you. What do I get out of this?" Kez pondered.

"I'll give you my extra closet in the London house," Lewis sighed. She smiled, nodding in agreement, "okay, we got a deal. I'll make sure you share a room." He stuck his hand out and she moved her hand of Tinashe's thigh to shake his hand. "Pleasure doing business," Lewis smirked sarcastically, and she laughed mockingly as she shook his hand in confirmation.

Kez stared up at the ceiling, her lips curled into a knowing smirk, "did I mention Nico will be at tryouts and you have to pick him up at the airport?"

"What?!"
