"Let's begin!" Johnny called out, Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do stood out back, their two, now, senseis right before them. Kody looked past Sam toward Eli and Demetri.

Demetri rose his hand after the awkward silence. "Begin what exactly?"

Johnny and Daniel shared a hesitant look before the LaRusso man spoke first. "Begin a new era. Many of us use to be enemies. But rivalries don't need to last forever. The All Valley Tournament is just a few months away, and this year, the stakes are higher than they've ever been. We know that Cobra Kai is gonna use every dirty trick in the book. There's only one way we're gonna be able to beat-"

"By kicking their asses so hard they shit themselves." Johnny cut him off as Kody frowned his eyebrows, nodding. "We gotta take things to the next level. Gonna teach you an aggression stronger than anything Cobra Kai can throw at us. They strike first? We'll pre-strike!"

"Okay, we're getting ahead of ourselves. We are going to respond to what they do." Daniel walked forward to cut the aggression short.

"Eagles do not respond." Johnny spoke before Daniel could.

"They don't?" Kody grinned.

"No! They swoop down and take whatever they want." Johnny answered him with a point. "That's what we're gonna do. Take back the Valley."

"Take it back in a measured and organized approach." Daniel informed them quickly.

"We bite first!" Johnny announced.

Daniel sighed, shaking it off. "Okay, let's just warm up with some simple exercises."

"All right, line up!" the blonde sensei agreed. The group all spread out in rows, Hawk was going for Kody with a shy smile before a set of curls stepped in the way.

"Where's Alaska?" Sam look up at him with frowned eyebrows.

"I don't know." Kody shook his head. "She ran away at the fight, isn't answered my text."

"She's not answers me either." Sam spoke, Kodys eyes followed Hawk as he lined up. "What if Cobra Kai got her?"

"What?" Kody gapped. "Got her? Got here where?"

"Got her outside my house." she shook her head.

"No, her dad would have murdered them by now." Kody shook his head, getting a gapping look. "He's a good drug dealer."

"And just breathe and follow me." Daniel encouraged. The two fell in line together.

"Fighting positions!" Johnny yelled out, startling the calmed ones. "Right leg back. Front kick ready. Hi-yah!"

Mitch kicked Nathan in the back, having him hit the ground. "Shit man, i'm sorry."

Kody kicked Miguel in the back as he srumbend forward. "Kody!"

"What?" he gapped. "I thought that's what we were doing?"

Johnny put his hands over his face in disbelief.

"Fight!" Johnny yelled, stood between Mitch and Bert before backing up. Mitch swung at him, Bert dodging it and blocking it, swinging his own fist in the process. Kody slowly took right steps toward Hawk near the rock.

"Woah! Woah! Woah!" Daniel pushed the pair apart with a crazy look. "You're just swinging at each other. Don't you teach any defense?"

"Best defense is more offense." Mitch said his way with a cheeky grin.

Bert gave him a harsh kick in the side. Kody cheered, doing the same to Demetri. "Kody!"

"What?" he gapped. "I thought that's what we were doing?"

"Why do you have a rock in your dojo?" Johnny turned to Daniel in disbelief.

"Fight!" Daniel waved his hand infront of Sam and Demetri not too long later, keeping Kody in a close eye sight.

He didn't have to worry about him this time, slowly moving until he was pressed into Hawks side. "Hi."

The blue eyed boy held bask a smile. "Hi back."

Kody looked over his shoulder, laughing. "Why are you saying hi to my back, silly? It doesn't have ears!"

"One of you do something. What the hell is this?" Johnny called to a circling Sam and Demetri.

"That's not how this works. One of us has to be provoked." Demetri argued with him in annoyance.

Johnny threw his water bottle at him. "Provoked yet?"

Kody took his water bottle and threw it at Daniel. "Hey!"

"What?" Kody blinked innocent. "I thought that's what we were doing?"

After Hawks foot collided with the dojo door, practice was over. Kody offered for him to come over, passing Dotti as she watched her programs, glad to see the boys back together. Hawk smiled as he was met with the familiar meow. "Mantis! I missed you."

Kody smiled as he dropped his bag and sat onto his bed, crossing one of his legs as Hawk carried Mantis over. They sat across from him, Kody gave him a small smile. "Mantis."

"Mantis." Hawk confirmed with the same smile. They didn't know what to say, how to act. Before, it was easy. Before, their wasn't canon feelings between them and a kiss. "Practice was bad."

"I really thought we were doing all that stuff." Kody defended himself as his elbows pressed into his knees.

Hawk laughed. "I know you did."

The O'Dell boy pressed his left pinkie on to the top of Hawks hand, inhaling. "It's just gonna take time for people to trust us."

"I noticed." he agreed, moving his hand so his pinkie would touch the side of his hand. "You trust me though, right?"

"Mhm." Kody smiled, meeting his eye to get a smile in return. "Of course."

It brought a blush to the red haired boys face, looking down. Kody inhaled, he wasn't good at this sort of thing. He'd only ever had one relationship, and even then, she was a girl. He knew maybe it was probably a lot different when it came to boys, especially Hawk, who he was just getting okay with. His hands laid on either side of his face, making Eli's eyes widen back at him. Kody cleared his throat. "Do you wanna...kiss me again?"

Hawk smiled, nodding slightly as he leaned in and pressed his lips onto his, Mantis leaving the space to allow them to move in closer together.

Sam had two stops to make that day. She tried with Robby, tried to make things right but only having it fail. She was to show up at the Lee house next, only met with multiple cars in the drive way. She walked toward the back, looking through the fence. It was maybe a party, but mostly everyone was either very young or adult age. Alaska sat by herself, some wings and guac infront of her. Sam took her chances and walked her way. "Alaska?"

Her eyes filled with a state of panic. "Sam."

"I just wanted to come check on you." she walked closer. "You weren't answered your phone."

"I dropped it when running out of your house, the new one isn't here yet." she looked toward the door. "Hey, i'm really glad you're here, but it isn't a good time."

"Right." Sam reddened in embarrassment. "I'm really sorry. I brought you this though."

Alaska stood up, taller then Sam, watching as she pulled a book from her bag. "I know you have a copy already but I just had to."

Leah On The Off Beat.

"Since we kinda started being friends because of Leah and Abby." Sam nodded as she passed it to her. "Maybe give me a call soon, Abby."

Alaska smiled. "I wanted t-"

"Hey, Princess Leia!" a new voice called out, they both panicked. "Your dad just taught me how to flip a-"

Tory stopped when she saw Sam. The LaRusso girl looked to Alaska, but she looked away. "I didn't know the two of you were friends."

"You said you only invited me." Tory looked at Alaska.

"She was just dropping my book off." she looked back to Sam, a guilty look in her eye. "Thank you."

Sam didn't say anything, because she was hurt, and confused, she didn't know what to trust now. She nodded to Alaska. "Yeah."

Then she left, Alaska watched her go as Tory sat next to her with an exhale. "You really don't wanna be friends with a girl like that."

Alaska looked her way as Tory shook her head. "She'll just kiss your boyfriend, cheat on her boyfriend, and let her privilege be all you see."

But, Alaska had seen more then that. "Cheat?"

"She cheated on Robby with Miguel when he was still with me." Tory answered with a shake of her head. "I figured you knew."

Alaska blinked, because she didn't. "I didn't know she was a cheater."

"Well, she is." Tory took one of the wings from her. "I'm just warning you."

Alaska met her eye with a minor smile. "Wanna go chance some owls in the woods?"
