i. BACKSTORY - 

       Maple was born in the early leaf-fall, under a maple tree. She was the oldest kit, and had two siblings, Heath and Racoon. Her mother was a tortoiseshell like her, named Lake. She was mates to a black and white former kittypet tom, named Syrup. They lived in the barn, and lead a pretty happy life. Maple was born a tom, but she never felt that way. He wanted to be called she. But Maple was afraid, afraid of rejection. So he kept it a secret, until he decided to tell Raccoon about it. His sister was very accepting, since she was lesbian. One day, Halo mysteriously disappeared, making Lake go out to search for him. The kits were under the care of Lake's good friend, Abalone. 

      Maple and the kits liked Abalone. She let them call her by her nickname, Abbie. Once Lake returned, Abbie went to venture out, saying goodbye to her friend and the kits. Lake said that Syrup's twolegs found him and took him back. The kits were very upset by the news but Lake was oddly calm. She did sound sad about it but Maple felt it wasn't genuine. 

      Three moons after Syrup  got caught by his twolegs, Maple decided to break the news to his mother. His mother didn't support her anymore. She disliked Maple after this. She thinks that all cats who are trans carries a disease. Maple was neglected by her very own mother. Heath knew about this, but said nothing. Racoon fiercely defended her from Lake. On one night, Maple snapped. She confronted her, speaking her mind out to her, resulting a fight between the two. Both mother and daughter were badly wounded. Lake eventually pinned Maple down and was about to slice her throat, until it was intervened by Racoon and Heath. Racoon declared that she and Maple were leaving the barn, and they set off. 

      Both she-cats walked for days until they encountered another barn. A cat named Vixen was living there, and she gladly invited them in. She introduced them to her friends, a black and white splotched she-cat named Oreo, and a light brown tabby tom named Rocky. Oreo treated Maple's wounds, and let them stay for the night. The next day, Vixen had to send them off because of the "visitors" she was expecting. Still, she told them they could join WindClan because the current leader was warm and inviting, and it would be a good place to stay too. Raccoon and Maple went to join WindClan.       

      They stepped foot to WindClan territory and was met by a patrol. Raccoon explained that they were here to join. After some more persuading the patrol reluctantly brought them to their camp. The current WindClan leader was a she-cat named Silkstar. She welcomed them with open paws, and immediately assigned them mentors. Maple's name was changed to Maplepaw, and Raccoon, Raccoonpaw. Maplepaw's mentor was a senior tom named Smokeyquartz, while Racoonpaw got a younger warrior named Timberholly. They had trouble blending in with the other apprentices, but still had each other. Smokeyquartz was very patient with her, and accepting when she came out to him. In fact WindClan have a few trans and homosexual cats as well. 

    About six moons later, they got their warrior names. Maplebreeze and Raccoonskip. Raccoonskip fell in love with a she-cat named Moonflowerseed. They had two kits, Eiderkit and Hopkit. Maplebreeze was also promoted to deputy at that time. Unfortunately, Raccoonskip, Hopkit died during the attack of a rogue group called the Keepers of Cierise. Moonflowerseed died of her wounds later. Maplebreeze was devastated of her sister's death, and decided to adopt Eiderkit. 

    When Eiderpaw got her medicine cat ceremony, camp was attacked by the Keepers of Cierise again, this time with more cats. The medicine cat was not around because she and Eiderpaw went to the moonstone. many cats died of their wounds. Maplebreeze spent her last hours in the medicine den. When Eiderpaw returned, Maplebreeze went to StarClan.

ii. BREAKDOWN -

CURRENT PRONOUNS : She/her

AGE : 58 moons at death.

SEXUALITY : Aromatic asexual.

GENDER : Transgender (male to female)

CLAN : Formerly of WindClan

DETAILED APPEARANCE : Maplebreeze is a stocky, grey-brown molly with patches of apricot ginger and cream muzzle and paws. She has darker classic tabby markings around her pelt. Her tail is striped, and she has triangular shaped ears with rounded tips. She has almond-shaped amber eyes with determination glistening in them. She has soft, medium-length fur. 

PERSONALITY : Maplebreeze is reasonable, determined, loyal molly who is a fairly hard worker. She strives to be more likeable so that she leaves a good impression on whoever crosses paths with her. She fears rejection the most, due to her traumatic past. She can be fierce and defensive when she needs to. Deep down, Maplebreeze is insecure of herself and wishes that she could be better. She also feels like she doesn't deserve some things, like having the role of deputy. 

iii. RELATIONSHIPS -

LAKE -
When she was a kit, Maplebreeze always looked up to her and sees her as a good mother. Until that once she came out, Lake's personality towards her changed completely. Right now lake despised her and she feels the same way. Although Maplebreeze feels a bit guilty for lashing out at her mother, despite everything she has done

SYRUP -
Syrup was caring to her, and favors her the most. probably because she is the only tom in lake's litter. However, he does cares about the rest of her siblings. Maplebreeze was saddened by his disappearance, and often wonders of how he will react if he knows what happened.

RACCOON - 
The two littermates are very close, supporting each other during their hardships. Maplebreeze is grief-stricken when she passed away. 

HEATH - 
Maplebreeze used to like her older sister. She feels angry at her for letting her mother yell and fight with her. Although she does care about Heath's whereabouts, and wonders if she is safe.

VIXEN - 
Maplebreeze thinks Vixen is mysterious, yet kind. she wonders where Vixen is right now.

EIDERDOWN -
She and her niece had a close relationship. She did not blame her for her death at all. She hopes that Eiderdown can move on and be a stronger cat.

iv. TRIVIA - 

- If Syrup didn't get abducted by twolegs, he would've supported Maple.

- Lake was originally an exiled RiverClan cat called Lakegorge.
