The next day, Shubman was excitedly preparing for a trip to his family's village in Punjab.

As he packed his bags, he decided to video call his family to finalize the plans.

His phone was propped up on the table, and he chatted animatedly with his parents and sister, Shahneel.

In the background, Hira walked by, catching the attention of Shubman's mother.

"Hira beta!" she called out warmly, waving at her through the screen.

Hira smiled shyly and approached the phone, greeting them with a warm smile. "Hello, Aunty. Hello, Uncle. Hi, Didi"

Shahneel, always full of energy and enthusiasm, immediately had an idea.

"Hira, you should come with us to Punjab! It'll be so much fun, and we'd love to have you."

Hira hesitated, unsure if she should intrude on their family trip.

"Oh, I don't want to impose," she started, glancing at Shubman.

Shubman, who had been hoping she would join them, quickly jumped in.

"Hira, it would mean a lot to me if you came. Plus, my family already loves you," he said, giving her a reassuring smile.

His mother nodded in agreement. "Yes, beta. We'd love to have you with us. You're part of our family now," she said kindly.

Seeing their genuine enthusiasm and feeling touched by their acceptance, Hira finally gave in. "Okay, I'll come," she said, smiling.

The excitement on the other side of the screen was palpable.

Shahneel clapped her hands in delight. "Yay! This is going to be so much fun!" she exclaimed.

Shubman looked at Hira, his eyes shining with happiness. "Thank you, Hira. This means a lot to me."

She nodded, feeling a warm sense of belonging as she joined in their plans.

The prospect of the trip, surrounded by Shubman's loving family, made her feel both nervous and excited.

It was a new step in their relationship, one that she was eager to take together.

After agreeing to join Shubman and his family on the trip to Punjab, She realized she needed to inform her own parents about her plans.

She decided to call them and let them know about the trip, hoping they would be okay with it.

Finding a quiet corner in Shubman's apartment, she dialed her mother's number.

Her heart raced a bit as she waited for the call to connect. After a few rings, her mother picked up.

"Hello mummy," Hira greeted, trying to sound casual.

"Hiru, dikra! How are you?" her mother responded warmly.

"I'm good, Mummy. I have some news," Hira began, taking a deep breath.

"Shubman and his family are going to their village in Punjab for a few days, and they've invited me to join them."

Her mother paused for a moment before responding. "That sounds lovely, Beta. Is Shubman treating you well?"

"Haan mummy. He's very sweet, and treats me like a Queen," Hira said, hoping to reassure her.

"I'm glad to hear that," her mother replied. "It's important to feel comfortable with him. How long will you be gone?"

"Just a few days. I'll be back soon," Hira assured her.

Her mother sighed softly. "Alright, Dikra. Just make sure to take care of yourself and keep us updated, okay?"

"I will, Mummy. Thank you," Hira said, feeling a wave of relief.

Her mother chuckled lightly. "Have a great time, beta. And say hello to Shubman and his family from us."

"I will. Love you," Hira said, feeling a warmth spread through her.

"Love you too. Bye," her mother replied before ending the call.

Hira felt a sense of relief wash over her. Informing her parents had gone better than she expected.

She returned to Shubman, who was still on the video call with his family.

"They're okay with it," she said, smiling. "I'm ready to go."

Shubman beamed at her. "Great! This trip is going to be amazing," he said, his excitement evident.

Realizing she had no traditional suit which would be necessary for their visit to Shubman's village.

She quickly mentioned it to him. "I just remembered, I don't have any traditional outfits with me. We need to go shopping."

Shubman nodded, "No problem. Let's head to the mall now. We'll find you something perfect."

They drove to the mall, well aware that the media, paparazzi, and fans would definitely recognize them.

As they walked through the bustling mall, they were approached by several fans asking for pictures.

Shubman and Hira graciously obliged, smiling and chatting with everyone.

After a few rounds of photos and autographs, they finally reached the clothing store.

Hira began browsing through the racks, picking out a few suits to try on.

Shubman, meanwhile, followed her, offering opinions and suggestions.

In the dressing room, She tried on various suits, stepping out each time to show Shubman.

"How about this one?" she asked, twirling in a deep emerald green coloured salwar kameez.

He smiled, "You look beautiful in everything, baby. But this one is really stunning."

She blushed at his compliment. "Okay, I'll try one more."

As she disappeared back into the dressing room, Shubman couldn't resist.

He slipped in quietly behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist as she faced the mirror.

"You look so beautiful," he whispered, his lips brushing against her neck.

He couldn't resist kissing the back of her neck. Hira shivered under his touch, turning around to face him.

Their eyes met, and the air between them crackled with tension.

Hira's breath hitched as she felt his warm breath on her skin.

"Shub, what if someone catches us?" she murmured, though she didn't pull away.

"Let them," he whispered back, kissing her cheek gently. "I don't care."

Their playful banter quickly turned into a heated makeout session.

Shubman's hands roamed her body, tracing the curves of her waist and hips.

Hira moaned softly as he kissed her deeply, their tongues intertwining.

He pressed her against the mirror, kissing her neck and trailing down to her collarbone, making her shiver with pleasure.

"This is so risky," she whispered between kisses, her breath coming in short gasps.

"That's what makes it exciting," he murmured against her skin, his hands sliding down her back.

They continued making out heavily, losing track of time, until a knock on the dressing room door brought them back to reality.

"Everything okay in there?" a store attendant called out.

Hira and Shubman pulled apart, both breathing heavily.

"Yes, just a minute!" Hira called back, trying to steady her voice.

They headed to the checkout counter with their selected outfits.

As they reached for their wallets, Hira stopped Shubman. "I'll pay for my own clothes."

He shook his head. "No, I'll pay."

"Shub, I can handle it," She insisted, pulling out her card.

"I know you can, but I want to do this for you," he replied, equally stubborn.

"Shub, please," she said, her voice firm. "I don't want you to think that I can't take care of myself."

"I never think that, Hia," he responded, his voice gentle but determined. "I just want to do something nice for you."

The cashier watched their argument with a bemused expression.

Hira frowned, "It's not about that, Shub. I don't want you to feel like you have to pay for everything."

"And I don't," he countered. "But let me do this for you."

They went back and forth for a few more minutes, neither willing to back down.

Finally, Hira sighed in frustration. "Fine, you win. But next time, I'm paying."

Shubman smiled triumphantly, handing his card to the cashier. "Deal."

As they left the store, bags in hand, Hira glanced at him, shaking her head. "You're impossible, you know that?"

Shubman chuckled, "I know. But you love me anyway."

She rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't hide her smile. "Yeah, I do."

Two days later, Hira and Shubman were laughing and chatting as they drove through the lush fields of Punjab.

The golden wheat fields swayed gently in the breeze, creating a picturesque landscape.

The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the narrow roads.

The air was filled with the scent of earth and crops, a refreshing change from the city.

"First stop, Mohali," he said with a smile. "We'll spend some time with my family before heading to Fazilka."

She nodded, excitement bubbling within her. "I can't wait to meet them."

As they approached his home, Hira could see his mother and sister standing outside, eagerly waiting for their arrival.

The house was a charming, traditional Punjabi home with a welcoming aura.

Shubman's mom and Shahneel greeted them warmly.

Hira, dressed in a beautiful light blue kurta with intricate embroidery and delicate lace detailing, paired with white palazzo pants, stepped out of the car.

She carried a stylish, large gray handbag and wore pointed-toe flats.

Her hair was styled in loose waves, adding to her overall charming and sophisticated appearance.

She was about to touch Shubman's mom's feet, a traditional gesture of respect, but his mom stopped her with a gentle smile.

"Girls don't touch feet here," she said, pulling Hira into a warm hug instead.

Hira smiled gleefully, appreciating the warm welcome.

Shahneel hugged Hira before greeting her brother, making Shubman pout.

The three women laughed at his expression. "Hawww not fair" he joked, earning more laughter.

"Fine, come here Kake," Shahneel laughed, giving her brother a big hug.

Shubman's mom took Hira's hands in hers and looked at her fondly.

"Welcome to our home, Hira. We're so happy to have you here."

Hira's heart swelled with happiness. "Thank you, auntyji. I'm so happy to be here."

"Call me mummy," Shubman's mom insisted with a smile. Hira nodded, feeling truly welcomed and at home.

As they walked inside, Shubman's mom and sister chatted with Hira, asking her about the journey and making her feel comfortable.

Shubman watched them with a content smile on his face, happy to see the women he loved getting along so well.

Shahneel couldn't help but tease her brother. "You're really lucky, Kake. Hira is beautiful."

"I know," he replied, his eyes sparkling with pride and affection.

They all went inside, and Hira joined her hands and respectfully greeted Shubman's dad. "Namaste, Uncleji."

"Namaste, beta. Welcome to our home," he replied warmly.

Everyone settled in the living room, the conversation flowing easily.

"So, Hira," Shubman's mom began, "how was your journey? Was it comfortable?"

"Yes, Mummyji. The drive was beautiful. Punjab is so different from the city," Hira replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Shahneel chimed in, "And there's so much to see and do here. We should take you around. Have you ever been to a Punjabi village before?"

Hira shook her head. "No, this is my first time. I'm really looking forward to it."

Shubman's mom smiled, "We'll make sure you have a wonderful experience. There's so much to learn about our culture and traditions."

Shubman, sitting beside Hira, added, "And of course, the food. Mumma's cooking is the best. You're in for a treat."

His father looked at both of them with a serious yet gentle expression. "You two are getting married soon. It's important that you are both happy with each other. Are you both happy together?"

Shubman and Hira exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them.

Hira spoke first. "Uncleji, Auntyji, Mei Bohot khush hoon. Shubman is an amazing person, and I feel very lucky to be with him."

Shubman nodded, taking Hira's hand in his. "I'm very happy too, papa. Hira is everything I could have hoped for and more. Hum dono ek dusre ke baare mei sab kuch jaante hai."

His mother smiled, her eyes glistening with emotion. "Chalo that's good to hear. Marriage is about supporting each other through everything."

Shahneel leaned forward, "And you know, Hiru, you're not just marrying Shub. You're becoming part of our family. We'll always be here for you."

Hira felt a wave of warmth and gratitude. "Thank you so much, Didi. It means a lot to me."

They continued chatting about various topics, sharing laughter and stories.

Hira felt more and more at ease with each passing minute, surrounded by Shubman's loving family.

As the conversation in the living room continued, Shubman's mother announced that dinner was ready.

"Shall we move to the dining room?" she suggested, and everyone agreed.

They moved together towards the dining room, where a delicious spread was laid out.

Hira immediately offered to help Shubman's mom set everything, despite her polite refusal.

"No, no, beta. You're a guest. Sit and relax," Shubman's mom insisted.

Hira shook her head with a warm smile. "Mummy, I consider you as my own mother now. And a daughter has every right to help her mummy."

Keart's face lit up with a smile, touched by Hira's words. "Alright, beta. If you insist, you can help me."

As they worked together to set the table, Hira and Shubman's mom chatted easily.

"You know, Hira, Shubman has always been a bit of a mama's boy," she said with a chuckle. "He would always help me in the kitchen when he was little."

Hira smiled, glancing at Shubman. "I can see that. He still has that caring nature." Shubman's mom nodded.

"He's a good boy, and I'm sure he'll make a wonderful husband. And you, Hiru, seem like a lovely girl. I'm very happy to have you in our family."

"Thank you, Mummy. That means a lot to me," Hira replied warmly.

Hearing this heartfelt exchange, Shubman's father walked over and gently patted Hira on the head.

"And you can call me Papa as well," he said with a smile, his eyes twinkling with warmth.

Shubman, witnessing this scene, couldn't help but smile broadly. His family had accepted Hira wholeheartedly, and it filled him with joy.

"Looks like you fit right in, Hira," he said, coming over to wrap an arm around her shoulders.

Hira looked around at Shubman's family, feeling a profound sense of belonging. "Thank you, Papa," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

With the table set and everyone settled, they began their meal.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, warmth, and love, making Hira feel like she was truly part of Shubman's family.

Once everything was set, they all sat down to enjoy the meal.

As Hira took her first bite, her eyes widened in delight. "Mummy, this is so good! Your cooking is incredible."

Keart beamed with pride. "I'm glad you like it, beta. There's plenty more, jitna dil kare utna khana."

As they ate, Lakhwinder began recounting funny stories from Shubman's childhood.

"Did you know, beta, when Shubm was a little boy, he used to dance to 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' from the movie Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai?"

Shubman groaned playfully, shaking his head. "Papa, not this story again."

Hira couldn't help but laugh, turning to Shubman with a teasing grin. "Oh really, Shub? I need to see this dance someday!"

Shahneel joined in, laughing. "Yes, Kake, you have to show her your moves! They were quite something."

Shubman rubbed the back of his neck, a bit embarrassed but smiling nonetheless. "Maybe someday," he said, trying to dodge the teasing.

Dinner continued with laughter and light-hearted conversation.

Hira felt more at home with every passing moment, surrounded by Shubman's loving family.

The warmth and camaraderie made her heart swell with gratitude and joy.

It was clear to her that she was not just marrying Shubman but becoming part of a family that already felt like her own.

After dinner, the family gathered on the terrace, enjoying the cool evening breeze.

Shahneel, turned to Hira. "Hia, tell me about your experiences as a pilot. It must be so exciting!"

Hira smiled, her eyes lighting up. "It is exciting, didi, but it can also be challenging. There's a lot of responsibility involved, ensuring everyone's safety."

Shubman chimed in, "Ek baar toh pura team humara flight mein tha, and Hira came to meet us in the cabin. When she returned to the cockpit, a man touched her inappropriately."

Hira nodded, a serious look crossing her face. "Haan, it was quite a moment. Maine uske arm ko twist kiya itne dard mein ki woh cheekh pada. But I wanted to make sure he knew it was wrong."

He continued, his voice filled with admiration, "Aur maine usko ek punch bhi maara. I was so proud of how Hira defended herself. She didn't just stand there and take it."

Shahneel patted Hira's shoulder in support, her eyes wide with admiration.

"That's incredible, Hira. You handled it so well. Aaj kal ke zamane mein, women need to be strong and stand up for themselves."

Hira blushed slightly at the praise but smiled. "Thank you, didi. It was just instinct, I guess. I couldn't let him get away with it."

Shubman's father, who had been listening intently, nodded approvingly. "Bohot achha kiya, beta. Such people need to be taught a lesson."

Shubman added, "And you should have seen the look on his face when Hira twisted his arm. It was priceless. Hum sab team wale bhi shocked the, but then we were all so proud of her."

Hira laughed, "I think the best part was when I got to kick him out of the plane. He learned his lesson that day."

Shubman's mother, who had been quietly listening, spoke up. "Hira, tumne jo kiya, woh bohot zaroori tha. It's important to stand up for oneself. And we're proud to have such a brave girl in our family."

The family continued chatting, the conversation shifting from one topic to another, but always filled with warmth and laughter.

Hira felt a deep sense of belonging, surrounded by people who accepted and appreciated her for who she was.

As Hira entered Shubman's room, her eyes wandered over the frames adorning the walls, showcasing his childhood and teenage memories.

She couldn't help but chuckle as she ran her fingers over the frames, taking in each moment captured in time.

AUTHOR- MY PERSONAL FAV PICS OF HIM :)))

Feeling Shubman's arm wrap around her waist from behind, she leaned into his touch, enjoying the warmth of his presence.

He rested his chin on her shoulder, their height difference making him just a few centimeters taller, a fact that never failed to amuse them both.

"You were so cute and chubby chubby," Hira remarked, her voice filled with admiration.

Shubman nodded, "I know right. Quite healthy."

Curiosity sparked, He turned to Her. "Do you have any childhood photos you'd like to share?"

She hesitated for a moment before shaking her head. "Nahi, Shub. My childhood was... different. I had a Korean haircut at one point, which I'm embarrassed to show anyone now."

He chuckled, "Oh, come on, Hira. I'm sure you were adorable!" She blushed at the compliment, "Well, maybe not as cute as you were."

Shubman raised an eyebrow playfully, "Oh, so I was cute, huh? Am I not cute now?" Hira teased him, using his own famous line, "Maybe, maybe not."

They shared a laugh, enjoying the playful banter.

As they settled into bed, side by side, facing the ceiling, Shubman noticed Hira lost in her own thoughts.

He gently turned towards her and shook her lightly. "Hey, are you comfy?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.

Hira's gaze shifted to meet his, and she nodded immediately. "Yes, I'm fine," she reassured him with a soft smile.

Turning to face him, Hira traced her fingers lightly along his face, causing Shubman to relax instantly under her touch.

"How can a person be so handsome?" she murmured, her eyes filled with genuine admiration.

Shubman felt a blush creeping onto his cheeks at her compliment. "You're the one who's beautiful," he replied earnestly, his gaze locked with hers.

Wrapping his arms around her shoulders, Shubman pulled Hira closer, and she snuggled against his chest, finding solace in his embrace.

He pressed a tender kiss to her hair, his heart overflowing with love for this incredible woman by his side.

"Goodnight, Hia," he whispered softly, his voice filled with warmth.

"Goodnight, Shub," she murmured in response, her voice filled with contentment as they drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms.
