7 hours later.

"Yulani, wake up baby." Jai tapped her awake, watching as she began to stir in her sleep.

He picked her up, placing her in his lap, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, laying her head on his shoulder.

"We stopping for food. Come on, I know you hungry." He left soft kisses in her neck as her hand slid down his back, stretching.

"You smell good girl." His hand slid down her ass, resting on her slit.

"Thank you. Slut." She smirked, and he laughed, flicking her forehead.

She got out of his lap, pulling her sweats back on as she stretched again.

"Baby where we at?" She asked, popping a piece of gum in her mouth.

"Nashville." He turned the car off, getting out and walking over to her side, letting her out.

She held her arms up, and he chuckled, leaning down and picking her up. He hoisted her up by her ass, walking towards the building.

She kissed his neck as she held the back of his head, and he bit his lip.

"Stop playing wit' me." He grabbed her neck, and she laughed, making him roll his eyes.

He placed her on her feet, and she held his hand, following the basketball boys inside the building.

"Ouuu." The aroma of the restaurant filled her nose, and she licked over her lips, pulling Jai to stand in line with her.

"What you getting?" He rested his hands in the front of her sweats, rubbing her panty line as she held on to his arms.

"The extra spicy tenders plate." She said after reading the menu of Nashville Hot Chicken,

"You finna be shitty." He shook his head, and she laughed.

"Best friend I damn near forgot you even came. Too busy with mr man." Sydney smiled, hugging Yulani, who laughed.

"Girl I just seen you yesterday. You knew I was coming, asshole." She mushed her head, and Sydney laughed, shrugging.

"Whatever girl. Don't forget, we having a party at the hotel tomorrow night. First day in ATL, gotta do it big." She smirked, and Yulani nodded, shooing her away as she laughed.

"You wanna go?" She asked Jai as he kissed her shoulder.

"Yeah, cause I know yo fast ass want to." He said, and she laughed, walking forward.

"Hi. Can I get the spicy tenders plate with extra sauce and extra fries. And the mild hot chicken sandwich plate. Easy on the salt for those fries." Yulani ordered, watching the employee ring her up.

"How you know I wanted that?" He chuckled, because that was exactly what he was going to get.

"I know my baby." She mumbled, carelessly shrugging her shoulders, and he smiled.

"Let me give you a real baby." He kissed her ear, and she laughed as he swiped his card.

"Yeah, no." She chuckled, standing to the side with him and wrapping her arms around his torso.

"It's cool I'll find another babymama." He shrugged, and she laughed again.

"Ight, get off me then. Ima ride the bus back with them." She pulled his hand out of her pants, turning to walk off, before he pulled her back.

"Chill." He laughed, kissing her face as she smiled.

"You so tall, you be looking crazy when you lean down to kiss me." She told him, and he chuckled, shrugging.

Yulani looked around for her brother, before spotting him next to Adonis. She watched the two of them talk, Yulan biting his bottom lip as he discreetly scanned over Don, and Yulani's eyes widened.

"Oh my fucking god." She whispered under her breath as Jai grabbed their food.

"What?" He asked, and she adverted her attention, looking over at him.

"Nothing. Are we eating in the car?" She asked, and he nodded.

"They ain't doing dine in. Them niggas gotta eat on the bus and shit." He chuckled, holding her hand as they walked out.

He opened his car door for her, before he got in as well, letting his seat back.

"You tired baby? Do you want me to finish the drive?" She asked, eating some of her fries with her feet folded under her.

"Nah I just need a nap real quick." He mumbled, rubbing her thigh with his eyes closed.

She nodded, putting her AirPods in as she scrolled on Tiktok, eating her food.

His hand slowly stopped moving against her as he dozed off, and she smiled, eating one of her jalapeño peppers.

She dipped her tender in her ranch cup, looking around at her surroundings as she ate it.

Yasir had taught her to always be aware of where she was and who she was around, whether she was comfortable or not.

Most of the times she did it unintentionally, just an instinct in unfamiliar places.

Yulani finished her food about 20 minutes later, placing her container in the bag as she drunk from her strawberry lemonade.

She saw the kids and chaperones loading back in the buses, and she turned to face Jai who was still asleep.

"Baby. Jai wake up." She tapped him awake, and he rubbed his eye, sitting up.

"Let me drive Jai. It's only two more hours and you're tired. I got it." She said, and he nodded, yawning.

The two of them switched spots, and Jai let the seat all the way back, throwing his arm over his eyes as Yulani pulled off, following the bus.

"Baby lemme see yo hand." He mumbled, and she smiled, reaching it out to him.

He intertwined their fingers, his thumb rubbing her hand as he began to doze back off.

Yulani loved being with Jai. He was so sweet to her, and he was very gentle with her as well. He treated her like a fragile princess, as if she would break if he handled her in any other way.

It was crazy how fast they fell for each other, and Yulani couldn't believe she'd turn his first few advances at her down. She was missing out.

She hoped soon enough, she could sit with Yasir and tell him about Jai. She didn't want to hide or sneak around with him anymore.

He deserved to be shown off and loved out loud as he did with her. And if Yasir couldn't accept her being with him, that was a personal problem because she wouldn't be breaking up with Jai any time soon.

About two hours into the ride, Jai began stirring in his sleep once Yulani removed her hand from his grip to make a U turn.

"You always doing somethin' man." He rasped, and she laughed, glancing over at him.

"I had to turn. Go back to sleep, hm." She held her hand out again, and he brought it to his lips, kissing the back of it as she smiled.

"I'm up now." He mumbled, letting his seat up. He grabbed her drink from the cup holder, sipping from it.

"Your food is probably cold now. We're 15 minutes from the hotel, you want me to stop and get you something to eat?" She asked, turning the radio down.

"Nah. I need to shower and get in a fuckin' bed." He licked over his lips, shifting in his seat.

"Me too. I don't like long drives as much as I thought I would." She shook her head, and he chuckled.

A few minutes later, she pulled in the parking lot of the hotel, cutting the car off.

"You stopped and got gas?" He asked, and she nodded as he opened the door for her.

"You should've woke me up. Ion like you pumping gas, you know that." He told her, and she laughed.

"Boy. It's literally gas, bye." She waved him off, grabbing her phone, charger, and AirPods.

"And Ima literally beat yo ass next time. Watch." He said as he grabbed their bags.

"You thought you ate?" She looked over at him, and he smacked his lips, making her laugh.

He held her hand, leading her inside behind the rest of the students.

They loaded in different groups on the elevator, some kids leaving to go explore the city.

The school had provided hotel rooms for the kids, but it was five people to a two queen sized bedroom, with only one bathroom.

So Yulani and Jai as well as a few other kids went out of pocket to get their own rooms.

Yulani swiped their key card, before pushing the door open.

She closed it behind them as Jai sat their bags down, stretching. She laughed at him as he tiredly rubbed his eye, and she walked over to bed.

She thoroughly searched through the sheets, making sure they were clean, and Jai shook his head as he watched her analyze over the room.

"You're such a perfectionist." He chuckled, and she looked over at him.

"Nah I just watch too many shows and Tiktok be telling me shit too. I'm just making sure." She shrugged as he started them some shower water.

Yulani made the bed back up, and then walked over to her bag to grab her shower things out.

"Yulani, come on baby." Jai called from the shower, and she chuckled, walking with her loofah and her soap to the bathroom.

She undressed herself, pulling the shower curtain back and stepping in with him.

She wrapped her arms around his torso, the water running down their bodies and she closed her eyes, as he rubbed her back.

"Sometime I be wishing you was little so that I could hug your neck without being on my tip toes." She mumbled, and he laughed, making her smile.

Jai stood at 6'5, and she was only 5'4, so he towered over her in any position. He was a whole foot taller than her, not to mention he had weight on him, so he was much bigger than her.

"I got you baby." He leaned down, picking her up so that she could hold around his neck.

"Thank you Amir." She smiled, rubbing his neck as he held her in his arms, and he kissed her cheek.

The two of them bathed, before stepping out and drying off, moisturizing their bodies.

"Ain't sleeping naked this time?" He chuckled as she went through her bag.

"I'm looking for my blanket to lay on. Shut up." She smiled, pulling it out of her bag.

She pulled the cover back, laying her blanket down on the sheet, before laying her naked body on top of it.

"Stop playing wit' me. Come here." He pulled her body as close to his as it could get, and she laughed, throwing her leg over his waist as he wrapped his arms around her body.

"I love you Yulani." He rasped, his eyes closed.

"I love you more baby."
