Leah White
"How is Frank doing?" Leah teased.
Alice and Leah were writing an essay for potions in the library, and they were in desperate need of a break. Leah couldn't help but tease Alice, because Alice was really lying low on their relationship.
"He's good." Alice blushed. "And for the last time, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about our relationship."
"Its cool." Leah said. "I was just joking." She sighed over the paper. "Now seriously, I missed Hogwarts, but this much homework on the first day??"
Alice frowned. "I know, right? You should have seen Severus Snape's reaction. He was all for it."
Leah picked up her quill and said, "It's as if he assigned the homework."
"I thought Lily said she'd meet us here." Alice said, glancing down at her potions essay, which only had four words on it: Written By Alice Fortescue. "We could sure use her help."
"That's weird." Leah commented. "Lily is never late."

"JAMES!"
James Potter turned around, and saw Lily Evans running up to him, her hands waving in the air. James was delighted to see her, and was also glad that she had caught him at a time where he was alone.
Seeing her hands thrown up in the air, James thought that maybe, she wanted a hug.
So he opened up his arms, but Lily stopped short, glaring at his arms with confusion.
"Why are your arms open like that?" Lily asked.
"I mean- uh-" James stuttered, and dropped his arms.
"Tell me you weren't expecting me to hug you." Lily said.
"I wasn't." James lied. He hid his arms behind his back. Then an enlightening thought crossed his head. "You- you called me James!"
"Oops." Lily blushed. "I meant Potter."
She squirmed a bit. "I need to talk to you, Potter. In private."
James' mind went wild. Was she going to confess her love to him? James eagerly let Lily pull him into a deserted classroom, and stood, brimming with excitement as she closed and locked the door.
"So." James cleared his throat. "What brings you to talk to James Potter on a lovely afternoon?"
Lily sat down in one of the chairs, and sighed. "I've noticed you've been advising your friend Sirius Black on his dating life."
James immediately became defensive. "So?" He asked.
"So?" Lily repeated. "So?" She stood up, angry. "You act as if women are-, are-" She paused again, trying to find words that were relevant.
"Collectible toys, or something!" She finally shouted. "We're humans, James, not things you can show off as a prized possession! We have feelings too, y'know!"
James was shocked by this angry outburst. "But-"
"And the way to tell him, 'You're looking for a blonde girl?'" She imitated James. "Looking for? You don't look for a girl, if you're true love is out there, they'll find you!"
She breathed out. "He breaks hearts, a girl thinks that he's actually in love with them, but then he moves on so quickly!!" She jabbed a finger to his chest. "And it's on you, because you're trying to hunt for girls that have a certain hair colour, or a certain look, so he can kiss them and leave them heartbroken!"
James felt ashamed. He hadn't thought about it that way. He knew girls were alive, obviously, but as he reflected over what the Golden Gang had been shouting at the Marauders for, what he himself had said to Sirius, and what Remus advised them to do, he realized that Lily was right. He was acting like girls were collectibles, that could be flaunted and shown off.
Lily seemed to notice his realization and frown, because she stopped before saying, "All I ask is that, please, don't wreck anymore hearts so you can help Sirius fulfill his desire to- honestly, I don't know what that boy wants!"
She hesitated. "So James, out of the goodness of your heart, please stop giving Sirius dating advice."
James closed his eyes before saying, "Ok, I see where you're coming from. I won't anymore, I promise."
"Really?" Lily's face lit up.
"I promise." James said. "I'm sorry." James wasn't just saying this to make Lily impressed, he truly, truly meant what he was saying.
"Thank you, James." Lily said. And suddenly, Lily started giggling. "Also, your dating advice sucks."
"What?!" James asked, shocked. "It does not!"
"Have you ever dated anyone ever?" Lily asked curiously.
"No..."
"There you have it."
James was about to argue when he thought better of it. "Thanks for- um, talking to me, Lily."
"No problem, James. I'm glad we sorted things out." Lily said with a smile. As she was walking out, she kissed him on the cheek. "Bye, Potter!"
Then she walked out the door.
James' eyes lit up, and he tentatively touched the spot where Lily had kissed him.
And he vowed to never wash that part of his face again.

"Guys! Guys, sorry I'm late!"
Lily apologized to her friends as she ran into the library, her face flushed.
"Where were you?" Alice asked, her eyes narrowed. "You're never late!"
"I went to-" Lily hesitated. Alice and Leah leaned in closer.
Lily sighed. "Talk to James Potter."
"Ohaha!" Alice exclaimed, which earned a 'shhhh!' from the studying students around them. Alice didn't apologize, instead she lowered her voice and said, "Why? To snog him?"
Lily made a disgusted face. "I'm not suddenly in love with him because I went to talk some sense into him."
"Oh, did you?" Leah said. "What did you tell him off for?"
Lily sat down in the chair opposite to Leah, and told them, "For giving that bastard Sirius Black dating advice that makes no sense at all."
"Yeah!!" Leah and Alice said happily, and they high-fived.
"James said he'd stop, and hopefully he'll tell Sirius to stop hitting on my friends." Lily whispered.
"Ali, you better watch out!!" Leah joked, turned to Alice and making a weird face.
"He wouldn't dare try anything." Alice said, her arms crossed. "I have a boyfriend."
"I don't think that would stop him." Lily pointed out.
Alice shrugged, then picked up her quill again, and said, "So Lils, we need your help. Did you bring your essay stuff?"
"Oh, that." Lily yawned. "I finished that yesterday."
Leah sat forward in her seat, shocked. "But-" She said, amused. "How? We just got it yesterday!"
Lily shrugged. "I finished it in thirty minutes."
Alice pretended to scream. "OK, so you can help us, right?"
"I don't believe in copying." Said Lily. "But I'll sit here and advise you."
"Thank you!" Leah breathed, and under the gaze of Lily, they finished it in right before dinner started.

As they entered the Great Hall, they saw Sirius Black talking, and obviously, flirting with some random girl who didn't look interested. Lily looked shocked. "WHAT?!" She said, offended. "James said-"
Then they saw James walk up to Sirius, whisper something in his ear, Sirius reluctantly nodded, then left the girl alone, who sighed in relief.
"Your talk worked, Lils!" Alice exclaimed happily. "Wow!"
"What can I say?" Lily brushed invisible dirt off her shoulders. "I have a thing for making naughty boys understand life."
Leah and Alice laughed, as they found their usual seat and sat down. Seeing Sirius Black finally stop annoying poor girls made Leah extremely happy, as she didn't think she would ever forgive him for that statement he made that morning.
And she told herself that she never would.
Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed, this chapter wasn't really meant to focus on Sirius and Leah, but more on Lily and James, because they're just such a cute couple! I had to add a chapter about them :) also, I'm really bad at self-restraint I know I just posted a chapter earlier, but I had to post this lol. Thanks for reading!!
