Maxton Hall, feeling the eyes of the other students on her. She wore her dark sunglasses on her nose, her features masked with total coolness as she heard the whispers behind her back.
She spend the last few months at home due to the whole mess around the funeral and becoming the new face of the company. Now she finally showed up to school again trying to not let any emotion cross her features.
Point one of handling this situation: Do not show any weakness.
People knew Liv as a really lively and determined person with high standards in people. You'll see her party and going clubbing with her friends in the night and in the daylight you'll see her being the lead of the cheerleaders and top student in most of her classes.
Liv walked into the building of her private school, heading to her first class of the day.
She walked into her psychology class, searching for a certain Ruby Bell that she was supposed to talk to. She saw the girl sitting at the front, talking to her friend whose name, Liv was sure, was Lin Wang. She took a small breath and took down her glasses. She walked towards the brunette girl, that now looked at her confused.
"Ruby Bell right? You're chairing the event committee?" She asked and Ruby nodded. Liv continued, ignoring both of their stares at her.
"I'm supposed to design the information about the cheerleading team. It's hardly known to the parents, which is why most of the money goes to the lacrosse team. You organize that party for the parents right?" She asked further.
"Y-yeah together with my team of course!" she pointed to Lin with her head.
"Good. Lexington asked me in order for allowing me to give a small speech at the party, to join the committee and help with the organization." Liv ended and looked at the two girls waiting.
"Oh.. okay great! We'll meet again tomorrow, third period!" Ruby smiled shirt and Liv nodded, the corner of her lips slightly twitching.
She didn't want to be in this committee team at all, she had enough to do with everything else.
After the lesson, she got up as the other students were leaving the room and headed towards her teacher Mrs. Jennis.
"Ah! Mrs. Ashwand it's great to have you back! I hope you catch up with the material soon, although I'm sure it's not gonna be a problem." The woman smiled at her and Liv smiled back.
"Thank you. I wanted to ask about my recommendation!" She then said and the woman quickly pulled out a paper wrapped in a foil.
"Yes right here!" She gave her the recommendation and the documents she gave her for it and Liv nodded.
"Thank you Mrs. Jennis, have a nice day." She wanted to make a step towards the door when she got stopped by the woman.
"If you ever need anything Miss, don't be scared to ask for it! I would be grateful to help you through this difficult time." The woman looked her in the eyes seriously and nodded to strengthen her words.
Liv nodded and gulped the upcoming tears away.
"Thank you." She whispered and walked out of the room.

"Alright Girls! Be out in 10, alright?" Liv yelled towards the other cheerleaders while putting her hear up into a ponytail and straightening her uniform while walking through the changing room.
"Liv?" Her best friend Elena stopped her from walking further.
"We have a small problem." She then said and Liv followed her out the door towards the field, seeing a few of the lacrosse boys training on it.
The brown haired girl rolled her eyes in annoyance. She bent down under the railing and walked towards the small team with determined steps, a strict expression on her face.
"Oh oh.. looks like you're dead James." Alistair whispered towards the boy with the golden helmet. James turned around and saw Livia Ashwand running towards them. A cheeky smile started spreading on his face.
"I told you we shouldn't mess with her, we're so dead." One of his teammates whispered in anxiety.
"Alistair catch!" James yelled and passed the ball towards the boy, deciding to ignore the girl. Alistair shook his head grinning.
They continued to play like they hadn't seen the girl.
"Hey do you guys mind?" Liv asked, gaining the attention of the boys. Slowly, the one with the golden helmet walked towards her.
"How can I help you?" He asked smugly and Liv felt her anger boil inside her.
"How about you get some balls and take that helmet off, so I can see your face when I talk to you." She said, ironically grinning and tilting her head. There was a sparkling thread in her eyes, which caught James interest.
She heard the boy scoff before he took his helmet off and the person that got revealed, caused her stomach to turn, painfully.
The boy shook his head with the blonde hair, damp from sweat and then opened his blue eyes.
Point number two to handle this situation: stay away from James fucking Beaufort
Liv didn't let her discomfort, from seeing the boy, show. She mentally wanted to slap herself for not thinking about him being the lead of the lacrosse team.
"It's our training period. You need to leave the field." She then said in a calm manner.
"You've got more than enough space to train, why don't you train over there?" he pointed at the free space on the field that wasn't used by him and his boys.
"And have your creepy little friends stalking my girls? No." She snarled, shaking her head and pressing her lips together. James grinned, while he eyed the girl in her uniform. He could see the resemblance between her and her brother Theo. The dark hair, tanned skin and the stinging blue eyes.
"Where's the difference in seeing you now than seeing you at the game?" Alistair appeared beside James.
"Cause during the game you'll have to play throw and catch with your silly little ball, unless of course, you're standing outside all the time, am I right Alistair." Liv said, smiling provocatively because she knew the boy was outside all the time for beating players up.
She saw the change in his demeanor as anger filled the boys eyes and he stepped forward. Unfortunately he was stopped by James grabbing him by the shoulder and shoving him back. The blonde's eyes were pinned on the girl even more as she could see that her words got to him too.
Liv turned her head around and saw some of the girl already coming out of the cabins and watching the scenario.
"Alright, let me help you out." She heard James say and turned her head back to him, only to have his face extremely close to hers.
"I give you the hand, like a sportsman." He twitched his lips up and then bent down to her, whispering.
"But only because you had to accept so many.. losses.. recently." he removed himself from her and grinned. The brunette girl felt anger boil up inside her body and her eye twitching slightly.
Point number three to handle the situation: No matter what happens, Don't. Loose. Control.
"Thanks Beaufort."
